The purpose of this study is to investigate the duties of teachers working at secondary level technical vocational education institutes, and analyze job importance, difficulty and frequency of performance perceived by teachers. For deducing the duties of teachers working at secondary level technical vocational education institutes, they were theoretically devised by reviewing related legislations & regulations and domestic & overseas literatures. The devised duties were reviewed by 16 current teachers and 3 education experts to be revised and supplemented to complete the job model. Based on this, development of research tool was finalized, and questionnaires were used as the research tool. The results of this study are as follow. First, the job categories of teachers working at secondary level technical vocational education institutes consisted of 7 categories that are subject instruction, student instruction, class management, curriculum organization & administration, school affairs & administrative duties, PR & field practical training and expertise enhancement. Based on the CFA, they consisted of 46 sub-factors in 10 categories with 3 categories of lesson preparation & planning, lesson administration and academic evaluation for subject instruction, and 2 categories of extracurricular student guidance and school life guidance for student instruction, and class management, curriculum organization & administration, school affairs & administrative duties, PR & field practical training and expertise enhancement. Second, job importance perceived by teachers working at secondary level technical vocational education institutes was found to be high overall with 4.10, while above average in difficulty with 3.45 and average in frequency of performance with 3.12 (1-3 times a month). As for categories with high job importance, they were found to be in the order of academic evaluation (4.32), lesson preparation & planning (4.28), expertise enhancement (4.27), lesson administration (4.26), school life guidance (4.25), class management (4.17) and PR & field practical training (4.12). In regards to categories with high job difficulty, they were found to be in the order of PR & field practical training (4.07), curriculum organization & administration (3.73), expertise enhancement (3.55), school life guidance (3.48), academic evaluation (3.35) and extracurricular student guidance (3.22). As for categories with high frequency of job performance, they were found to be in the order of class management (3.88), lesson administration (3.77), school life guidance (3.52), school affairs & administrative duties (3.40) and lesson preparation & planning (3.17).

The study tried to investigate perception of the importance and educational needs of job performance competency of National Competency Standards based vocational education curriculum in technical specialized high schools and meister high schools. For this, the survey was conducted targeting 269 specialty subject teachers in technical specialized high schools and meister high schools. And the results are as follow: First, job performance competency were divided into 5 categories(curriculum guidance, school life guidance, class management, extraordinary activities and administrative duties) and 34 sub-categories. Second, higher importance values were curriculum guidance, extraordinary activities and school life guidance. Higher educational needs values were curriculum guidance, extraordinary activities and administrative duties in categories. Third, higher importance values were construction and reconstruction of NCS learning modules, organization and manage of NCS based vocational education curriculum, guide of the new laws and employment, student records manage, research activities of NCS, hands-on-background training, NCS projects in sub-categories. Fourth, the results show that the NCS experienced teachers more highly evaluated the importance and educational needs of the job performance competency than the NCS inexperienced teachers did.

This study aimed to identify the difficulties that new science teachers in secondary schools experience. Subjects for this study were 190 science teachers attending qualifying training for 1st degree of teaching certificate. Using an open questionnaire, the difficulties these teachers encounter were collected, categorized, and compared between their first year and their succeeding years of teaching in terms of their school level, gender, majors and regions. Results showed that first year science teachers have had difficulties in areas including subject teaching, guidance, administrative affairs, human relationship and self-understanding. On their succeeding years, difficulties about subject teaching were reduced to half while other difficulties remained. New teachers in middle schools have experienced the most number of difficulties about guidance, while new teachers in general high schools have experienced the most number of difficulties about subject teaching. Based on these findings, some recommendations were proposed for new science teachers in secondary schools, school administrators, and training institutions.

This study was designed to investigate the perception of the competencies of using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The subjects of the study were 318 clients and 118 consultants. Descriptive statistics, paired t-tests, and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) were conducted based on perception levels of clients and consultants to increase understanding of current situations and trends. Findings are expected to assist in planning. Regarding the perception of clients, Quadrant 2 (Concentrate Here) included consulting supervision expertise and content expertise, and Quadrant 4 (Possible Overkill) included skill expertise. Regarding the perception of consultants, Quadrant 1 (Keep Up the Good Work) included skill expertise; Quadrant 2 (Concentrate Here) included content expertise; and Quadrant 3 (Low Priority) included consulting supervision expertise. Results revealed that clients had no responses for Quadrant 1, but they offered 10 items associated with Quadrant 2, one item for Quadrant 3, and four items for Quadrant 4. Consultants responded with five items for Quadrant 1, three items for Quadrant 2, three items for Quadrant 3, and four items for Quadrant 4.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the way-finding exercise using a map in rehabilitation of cognitive function and activities of daily living in patients with a stroke. For the seven patients diagnosed with hemiplegia from a stroke, we executed the way-finding exercise using a map in the hospital, three times a week for two weeks. Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment(LOTCA) and Functional Independence Measure(FIM) were used to measure the cognitive function and performance of activities of daily living before and after intervention. For the visual perception area and the spatial relations of the spatial perception area of LOTCA, scores were significantly higher than before intervention(p<.05). For the walk/wheelchair of locomotion area and the problem solving of the social cognition area of FIM, scores were significantly higher than before intervention(p<.05). The results of this study show that a way-finding exercise for patients with a stroke is a useful therapeutic approach by enhancing cognitive function and performance of activities of daily living.

현재 일선고등학교에서 사용하고 있는 학생생활기록부의 효율적 이용 및 명가방법에 대한 논의와 연구가 활발한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 학생생활기록부의 13개 항목을 분석하여 몇 개의 영역으로 일반화시킨 후 각 영역에 해당하는 확정계약조건들을 결정한다. 또한 이를 기반으로 일반화시킨 영역들을 추론하고, 교사들의 관찰내용과 같은 불확정계약조건들을 상담형태로 지식베이스화시켜 추론할 수 있도록 한다. 제안된 추론엔진은 교사들이 학생들에 대한 학습 및 생활지도시 이용함으로써 보다 정확하고 효율적인 지도를 유도할 수 있으며, 대학입시에서도 비교과 영역평가시 변별력을 높일 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between marital satisfaction and job performance among secondary school married female teachers. The subjects of this study were 237 married female teachers who worked in middle-and high-schools in Seoul and Gyeonggido. To gauge how they were pleased with their married lives. Lee Jeong-ryeon(1987)'s scale that was based on Synder's scale and made up for its segment about relations with family-in-law. As for job performance. Yun Gyeong-hye(2001)'s scale that was based on Son Jeong-hwan(1990)'s teacher job scale was employed. For data analyses. t-tests. ANOVAs. Scheffe tests for pairwise comparison. Pearson's correlations were utilized. The findings of this study illustrated that the marital satisfaction of the secondary school married female teachers were significantly related to their job performance. This indicated that their marital satisfaction served to enhance their job performance. and furthermore. that could be said to determine the quality of school education.

본 연구는 현직교사들이 기대하는 교육실습의 직무와 교육실습을 다녀온 교육실습생들이 바라보는 교육실습생의 직무를 살펴보고 현직교사들이 보는 관점과 교육실습생이 보는 교육실습생 직무에 관한 차이를 살펴보고 표준화된 교육실습생의 직무를 살펴 보았다. 교육실습생의 지도 영역을 학교경영, 교과지도, 생활지도, 학급경영, 근무태도, 연구별로 나누어 제시하였다.

고도로 발전되는 현대과학은 시대의 흐름에 따라 우리의 생활문화를 급격히 변화시키고 있다. 물질의 풍요는 주위환경의 여건을 변화시키지만 인간의 지식 및 관리능력이이에 따르지 못하면 생활의 진정한 향상과 혁신은 실천될 수가 없다. 본 연찬회의 목적은 대학교육이 지역사회 개발에 직접적인 관련과 도움이 되기 위해 시행된 일련의 교도행사이다. 생활과학연찬회는 1978 년 11월 7일부터 9일까지 3일간 각 시도군의 생활지도사를 대상으로 의생활분야, 식생활분야, 주생활분야, 아동학분야의 강의와 실습을 통하여, 지역사회의 생활개선 지도방향을 교육 실시하였다. 금번에 가정대학이 실시한 연찬회 참여자들의 반응 및 의견을 종합해 볼 때 상당히 만족할 만한 것으로 나타났다. 그런 궁극적으로 생활과학의 보급은 더 넓은 범위와 지방민에까지 전달되어야만 더욱 효과적인 프로그램이 될 수 있다고 하겠다. 그렇게 되기 위해서는 우선 세분화되고 필요로 하는 교육내용에 관한 연구와 실제 응용할수 있는 기술 및 지식의 보급이 시급하다 하겠다. 특별히 지방인들이 과거보다 더 요구하는 영역은 주생활분야와 아동학분야이다. 또한 지도자들이 훈련을 받을 때 사용한 교재나 교구를 지방에 갖고 갈수 있게 다양하고 보다 자세한 자료의 개발 및 보급이 뒤따라야하겠다. 결과적으로 이번 연찬회는 성공적이었고 앞으로 위에서 제언된 몇 가지를 감안하여 정기적인 Program이 계속되어야하겠다.
