The Study on New Poverty and Change of Poverty Policy in Korea (한국의 신빈곤현상과 탈빈곤정책에 관한 연구: 근로빈곤층(the working poor)의 실태를 중심으로)

  • The object of the study is to examine the change of social-economic structure and poverty-shape to escape poverty. In Korea, the working poor have been increased by flexibility and division of labor market since the economic crisis in 1997, and are faced with hard conditions due to the vulnerable welfare system. Especially the workers who engage in irregular jobs were increased by restructure of labor market. Besides they are in unstable employment terms such as low payment, low-skill and exclusion from welfare-benefit. Many small independent businessmen are also in danger of poverty for enterprises trend to move abroad by globalization. Poverty policy in our country was focused on the absolute poor class that has relation with old age, unemployment, disable, disease etc, so they were the object of welfare policy. The poverties, however, are increasing rapidly after the economic crisis, and they work so hard but are still poor, that is, participation in labor market doesn't become an element to escape poverty. Thus the emergence of new poverties whose core consists of the working poor becomes to need new poverty policy. The study is to survey change of their economic conditions, their welfare conditions, their experiences and responses of social dangers after the economic crisis, then to explore the policy to escape poverty. As the result of the study, it shows that the working poor experienced many kinds of social dangers like unemployment, decrease of income etc. In their welfare conditions as their responses to the social dangers, the benefit of social insurance, enterprise welfare like legal retirement pay and paid leave and private welfare such as private pension and insurance are low. The working poor are faced with social dangers, moreover, they don't have skill or education for adapting themselves to information society. The study says that it needs variable policies for the working poor to escape poverty, and suggests payment & tax policies as stable income policy, occupational discipline and skill-education for promoting the quality of employment, moreover, social insurance as expansion of social welfare policy and housing & education policies whose objects are the working poor.

Effects of Driver's State Driving Anger on Collision Avoidance and Situation Awareness: Moderating Effect of Negative Affect (운전자의 상태운전분노가 추돌회피와 상황인식에 미치는 효과: 부정정서의 조절효과)

  • This driving simulation study examined the effect of driver's state driving anger(SDA) on collision avoidance(CA) and situation awareness(SA), as well as the moderating effect of driver's positive and negative affect(PA and NA) on the relationship between the driver's SDA and SA. The results showed the followings. First, high SDA group collided with the leading vehicle more frequently than low SDA group. Second, neither the driver's trait driving anger(TDA) nor PA/NA yielded significant changes in SA after SDA was induced. Third, high SDA tended to lower SA but this tendency was observed only when the driver's NA was high. These results suggested that SDA than TDA is a significant deteriorating factor of the driver's SA, and more importantly, SDA should be considered with other affect-relating variable such as NA in explaining the effect of SDA on driver's SA and CA.

The Consistency of High school Students Responses Concepts of 'Atmospheric and Water Cycle' according to Task Contexts ('대기와 물의 순환' 관련 개념들에 대한 과제 상황에 따른 고등학생들의 응답의 일관성)

  • The purposes of this study was to analyze the knowledge sources and of high school students' responses on tasks in scientific context and tasks in everyday context, and was to investigate the relationship between the consistency of responses and cognitive style. One hundred fifteen students participated in study. The students were asked to solve ten paris of problems about several concepts of circulation of atmosphere and water. Each pair of the problems consisted of two questions which were about the same concept but were about different context. That is to say, one questions related to scientific context and the other related to everyday context. Every questions included one subquestion in other to investigate the students' sources of knowledge. The students' responses on two questions in each problem were analyzed in order to compare the sources of knowledge and examine the influence of task context. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: First, students' knowledge sources varied by task contexts. That is to say, the students selected 'Science activities in school' as main source in questions related scientific context and chose 'Experience in daily life' as main source in questions related to everyday context. Second, inconsistency score on all paris of problem was significantly higher than consistency score (p<.01). This result indicated students' responses were much dependent on context. third, field-dependent students were more dependent on context, considering higher inconsistency score than field-dependent ones.

  • A strategy is proposed for the systematic synthesis of goal-tree to support the operation of abnormal situation in chemical plant. A knowledge base using the heuristics of operators is organized for synthesizing goal tree to take appropriate safety precautions with properties of accident. A computer-based system which utilizes artificial intelligence technique is developed to evaluate the effectiveness of the methodology and applied to the model plant.

  • 최근 컴퓨터 해킹이 커다란 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있다. 물론 시스템 보호를 위한 많은 상용 제품들이 존재하지만, 침입피해 상황에서는 대부분의 경우, 시스템 관리자의 현장 경험에 의존하는 실정이다. 따라서 시스템 관리자는 기존의 침입에 관한 해결방법 뿐만 아니라, 새로운 위협들에 대한 대처방안을 항상 준비 하여야 한다. 이러한 침입상황을 시스템 관리자들에게 교육하기 위하여, 본 논문에서는 모의 훈련환경을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 시스템의 특징은 우선, 지식베이스로부터 동적으로 생성되는 학습 주제들로 이루어진 교과 과정을 학습자에게 제시한다. 학습자에 의해 선택된 학습 주제는 학습목표로 간주되고, 이 주제는 교수 계획에 의해 다수의 임무(mission)들을 생성한다. 학습자는 각 임무에서 주어진 상황을 가상의 UNIX명령어들을 직접 사용하여 모의 실험해 봄으로써 임무 완수에 필요한 지식을 숙지할 수 있게 된다. 시스템은 임무 완수에 요구되는 해 경로(solution paths)를 유지함으로써, 학습자의 문제 해결 과정을 감독할 수 있고, 도움을 요구하거나 실수를 할 때 적절한 힌트를 제공한다. 시스템은 웹 기반의 클라이언트/서버 구조로 설계되어, 학습자는 브라우저만으로도 학습이 가능하고, 자바 애플릿으로 이루어진 가상 운영체제 하에서 직접 침입대처 상황을 학습 할 수 있다.

  • 해상교통관제사의 능력 향상을 위해 해양수산부에서는 자격인증에 관한 훈령을 제정한 후 기본과정, OJT 강사과정, 선임관제사 과정, 재교육과정 등의 교육을 시행하면서 교육용 시뮬레이터를 활용해 왔다. 또한, 항만의 안전과 보안을 우선 담보하는 해상 교통관제사로서 능력을 발휘하고 필요한 역량을 갖추기 위해서 IALA V-103에서 언급된 대로 여러 부분의 지식을 함양하고 교육용 시뮬레이터를 이용한 간접경험으로 훈련을 충실히 하고 있다. 그러나 시뮬레이터는 항만의 선박교통상황을 충분히 구현하지 못하며 긴급하고 위험한 상황 또한 제한적으로 구현할 수밖에 없는 등 교육용 시뮬레이터의 약점을 보완하기위해 VTS 시뮬레이터 시스템의 기능강화를 위한 요구사항 분석 및 설계 기준을 검토하였다. 특히, 해상교통관제사의 훈련 상황을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가기능을 구현하기 위해서 분석 검토하였다.

  • This study investigated the impacts of the experience attributes of JJALBANG broadcast images on satisfaction with 221 viewers in their 20s and analyzed the mediation effect of flow. The results are: First, their experience attributes affected flow, not directly affecting satisfaction while flow directly affected satisfaction. Second, securing flow was an important predictor for connecting experience attributes to satisfaction through the effect resolution. Flow alone can predict satisfaction, so its impact on experience is very important. Visual attribute had the greatest influence on flow and satisfaction, followed by situation, information, and interaction, which affected satisfaction through flow. This study found the importance of full mediation effect of flow and got implications for effectively providing experience and flow in strategies for viewing JJALBANG.

  • Prior researchs on Internet shopping have focused on cognitive, technological factors, but this research is focused on emotions experienced during internet shopping. Examines emotion types experienced during internet shopping and shopping mall characteristics influencing emotional response and effect of emotions on internet shopping behavior, specifically focusing on gender difference The data, collected from a sample of 131 internet shoppers, indicate that emotion types experienced during internet shopping and shopping mall characteristics influencing emotional response and emotional response influencing internet shopping behavior are difference between female and male. Theses results provide insights on internet shopping mall management according to gender.

  • In this paper, we generalized number partion problems in elementary situations to number partition models that provide some mathematical problem situations for experiencing mathematising of secondary pre-service teachers. We designed substantial teaching units entitled 'the inquiry intof number partition models' through 4 steps: (1) key problems, (2) integration from the view of partition, (3) defining partition (4) a real practice of inquiry into models. This teaching unit can contribute to secondary pre-service teacher education as follows: first, This teaching unit have pre-service teachers experience mathemtising. second, This teaching unit have pre-service teachers see the connection between school mathematics and academic mathematics. third, This teaching unit have pre-service teachers foster their mathematical creativity.

Interaction Design of Take-Over Request for Semi-Autonomous Driving Vehicle : Comparative Experiment between HDD and HUD (반자율주행 차량의 제어권 전환 요청(TOR) 인터랙션 디자인 연구 : HDD와 HUD 비교 실험을 중심으로)

  • In the semi-autonomous vehicle, before reaching a fully autonomous driving stage, it is imperative for the system to issue a take-over request(TOR) that asks a driver to operate manually in a specific situation. The purpose of this study is to compare whether head-up display(HUD) is a better human-vehicle interaction than head-down display(HUD) in the event of TOR. Upon recognition of TOR in the experiment with a driving simulator, participants were prompted to switch over to manual driving after performing a secondart task, that is, playing a game, while in auto-driving mode. The results show that HUD is superior to HDD in 'ease of use' and 'satisfaction' although there is no significant difference in reaction time and subjective workload. Therefore, designing secondary tasks through HUD during autonomous driving situation improves the user experience of the TOR function. The implication of this study lies in the establishing an empirical case for setting up UX design guidelines for autonomous driving context.
