Support vector machine and multifactor dimensionality reduction for detecting major gene interactions of continuous data (서포트 벡터 머신 알고리즘을 활용한 연속형 데이터의 다중인자 차원축소방법 적용)

  • We have used multifactor dimensionality reduction (MDR) method to study genegene interaction effect of statistical model in general. But, MDR method could not be applied in the continuous data. In this paper, continuous-type data by the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm are proposed to the MDR method which provides an introduction to the technique. Also we apply the method on the identify major interaction effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) responsible for economic traits in a Korean cattle population.

  • 컴퓨터 가상현실 기술은 반복적인 교육과 훈련을 필요로 하는 의료 시뮬레이션 분야에 도입되어 시술 훈련, 수술 계획 및 수술 시뮬레이션 등의 영역에 응용되고 있다. 3차원적 가시화나 네비게이션에 치중하던 기존의 의료 시뮬레이션에 보다 현실감을 증진시키기 위해서는 인체 해부학적 기관의 변형성과 사용자와 대상 기관 사이의 물리적인 상호작용이 반영되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 2차원 및 3차원 마우스만을 사용하던 상호작용 환경을 개선하여 시술 동작시 물리적인 역감을 전달받을 수 있는 햅틱 인터페이스를 도입하고. 보다 현실감 있는 시각적 디스플레이를 위해 햅틱 워크벤치를 사용하였다. 사용자의 햅틱 인터페이스 조작에 따른 가상 인체 기관의 물리적 변형 및 이에 따른 물리적 역감은 삼각메쉬를 이용한 매스-스프링 모델을 사용하여 구현하였고. 가상 시술 도구와 가상 인체 기관와의 빠른 충들 감지를 위해서는 OBBTree를 적용하였다.

The Electronic Structure Calculations for Transition Metal Substituted Ge Chain Clusters (자성 원자를 치환한 1차원 클러스터의 전자구조 및 자성구조 계산)

  • We have studied electronic structures and magnetic properties of one dimensional Ge chain nanoclusters using OpenMX method based on densty functional method. The calculation results show the strong antiferromagnetic interaction between Cr and Ge atoms. The magnetic interaction between Ge and Ge atoms are almost antiferromagnetic behaviors. The magnetic exchange interaction are occurred over the sevaral Ge atom layers. The magnitude of this interaction depends number of Ge atom.

  • 최근 다양한 ICT기술의 발전으로 인간의 사회, 문화, 교육 등의 많은 분야에 변화가 일어나고 있으며, 많은 기술들이 인간 삶의 영역에 적지 않은 영향을 미치고 있다. 그 중에서도 인터넷 웹 표준 기술의 발전은 e-book 시장과 교육용 콘텐츠의 변화가 많을 것으로 예측하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 N-Screen 지원과 반응형 웹 기술 지원을 위한 3차원 상호작용기반의 e-book 콘텐츠 저작도구 플랫폼 설계를 연구하였으며, 6가지 영역의 상호작용 콘텐츠 개발이 웹 표준에 의해 저작될 수 있는 저작도구 모형을 연구 개발 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 e-book의 저작 형태는 웹 표준 기술 HTML5와 ePub3.0 표준을 기반으로 제작할 수 있도록 콘텐츠 플랫폼을 설계 하였으며, 사용자와의 상호작용, 시뮬레이션 등의 기능을 쉽고 빠르게 제작할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스를 연구 적용하였다. 향후 본 연구의 결과로 전자책 산업 발전과 교육 분야의 활용 향상을 기대하고 있으며, 지식의 체계를 좀 더 다양하게 제공 할 수 있는 e-book 콘텐츠 연구의 원천이 되기를 기대한다.

Hybrid Dimensional Approach to the Unsteady Compressible Flowfield Analysis around a High-speed Train Passing through a Tunnel (혼합차원기법을 이용한 고속열차의 터널 통과 시 발생하는 비정상 압축성 유동장의 수치해석)

  • A modified patched grid scheme has been developed and employed for and axi-symmetric unsteady Euler solver based on Roe's FDS to analyze the unsteady flow fields induced by a train and a tunnel. On this paper, the innovative zonal method, named hybrid dimensional approach, was proposed and applied to the train-tunnel interaction problems. The basic idea of this method is to maximize the efficiency of numerical calculations by minimal assumption of spatial dimensions. The hybrid dimensional approach, embedded in the present modified patched grid method, yielded high numerical accuracy as much as the fully axe-symmetric method. The hybrid dimensional approach is expected to reduce the huge computation time of the train-tunnel interaction problems especially in the cases of solving a long tunnel.

Mobile Phone and Extension of Human Communication (이동전화와 인간 커뮤니케이션의 확장)

  • Mobile phone media have extended the terrain of human communication. Starting from the notion of McLuhan, this study suggests that the extension of human communication is a concept of multiple dimension, such as 'extension of function' and 'extension of ego' Mobile phone speed the pare and efficiency of life, but also allow more flexibility at business and professional levels as well as family and personal life. On the other hand, mobile phone is also conceived as a personality kit, that is as a symbol of user's identity. So we ran classify the mobile phone users as a typology of motivation. Group I, entitled 'hyper-coordination', has high instrumental and high expressive motivation. Group II(='instrumental') is high instrumental but low expressive. Group III(='expressive') is low instrumental and high expressive, and Group IV(='minimal') is low in both instrumentality and expressiveness of mobile phone use. Then would the hyper-coordination group have different usage pattern with the other groups? A sample of 482 university students completed survey questionnaire. , which states hyper-coordination group would most frequently make calls and text, and have largest extensity and variety of usage, is supported statistically. states that hyper-coordination group would have larger and deeper social network than the other groups. This hypothesis is also supported with statistics.

Development of a Quasi-Three Dimensional Train/Track/Bridge Interaction Analysis Program for Evaluating Dynamic Characteristics of High Speed Railway Bridges (고속철도 교량의 동특성 해석을 위한 준3차원 차량/궤도/교량 상호작용 해석기법의 개발)

  • Railway bridges are subject to dynamic loads generated by the interaction between moving vehicles and the bridge structures. These dynamic loads result in response fluctuations in bridge members. To investigate the real dynamic behavior of the bridge, therefore, a number of analytical and experimental Investigations should be carried out. In this paper, a train/track/bridge interaction analysis program for evaluating the dynamic characteristics of bridges due to KTX operation in terms of structural safety, operational safety and passenger comfort is developed. To build a practical model of train/track/bridge, Hertzian spring for wheel/rail contact modeling and Winkler element for ballast are applied. This program also used torsional degree of freedom and constraint equation based on geometrical relationship in order to take into consideration three-dimensional eccentricity effect due to the operation on double track through quasi-three dimensional analysis. To verify the developed Program, comparison has been made between the measured results and those of simulation of the typical PSC box bridge(2@40m=80m) of the KHSR bridges.

  • Analyzing protein-protein interactions(PPI) is an important task in bioinformatics as it can help in new drugs' discovery process. However, due to vast amount of PPI data and their complexity, efficient visualization of the data is still remained as a challenging problem. We have developed efficient and effective visualization system that integrates Gene Ontology(GO) and PPI network to provide better insights to scientists. To provide efficient data visualization, we have employed dynamic interactive graph drawing methods and context-based browsing strategy. In addition, quick and flexible cross-reference system between GO and PPI; LCA(Least Common Ancestor) finding for GO; and etc are supported as special features. In terms of interface, our visualization system provides two separate graphical windows side-by-side for GO graphs and PPI network, and also provides cross-reference functions between them.

  • 본 논문에서는 BIFS노드를 추가한 MPEG-4 기반의 3차원 플레이어를 구현했다 BIFS는 바이너리 포맷으로서 VRML에 비하여 압축률이 높고 객체의 시공간적인 관계를 나타내주기 때문에 여러 개의 3차원 객체를 효과적으로 동시에 렌더링할 수 있는 방법을 제공한다. 이러한 BIFS의 특징은 3차원 객체에 대한 압축만을 제공하는 3D 메쉬코딩의 단점을 효율적으로 해결한다. 구현된 플레이어는 BIFS 노드가 추가된 3차원 컨텐츠를 렌더링함은 물론 3차원 객체들에 대한 이벤트를 지원하여 유저와의 상호작용을 가능하게 하였다

Study on the Influence of Mobile Application Interactivity on flow and purchase intention (모바일 애플리케이션의 상호작용성이 플로우(flow)와 구매의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -구매등급을 조절효과로-)

  • Despite the gradual growth of mobile markets according to an increased mobile distribution rate, empirical studies on the mobile shopping application markets are not sufficient. From the viewpoint of a large number of purchase of brand product in department store by customers and a high growth rate of mobile shopping by means of mobile shopping, we classified a principle variable, the interactivity, into three levels and verified the effects of the interactivity on the flow, effects of the flow on the purchase intention and the control effect of purchase level. In conclusion, among the three levels of the interactivity the customer-customer interactivity and the content-customer interactivity have positive effects on the flow, but company-customer has not. On the other hand, the customer-customer interactivity and the content-customer interactivity have a positive effect on the flow. Furthermore, the flow affects the purchase intention positively. After the verification of the direct effect of interactivity on the purchase intention, the content-customer interactivity only has a positive effect on the purchase intention. Lastly, the purchase level has a control effect when the customer-customer interactivity has a positive effect on the flow.
