Nowadays, 'books' are not limited to tangible items no longer, but can be intangible digital contents, along with advancement in e-Book technology and the growth of the markets. However, the role of e-Book viewers that links digital contents and readers has been rarely studied. In this study, therefore, we examined the effects of e-Book viewer's system quality (ease-of-use, functional diversity, interactivity) and design quality (convenient design, intuitive design, emotional design) on user satisfaction, and also tested if these relations are different by the content types (cartoon, novel, and learning contents). Research findings show that all the independent variables, except for interactivity, affect user satisfaction in overall groups. In viewing cartoon content, ease-of-use, convenient design, and emotional design were significant antecedents, and intuitive design and emotional design were found important factors in novel content, while functional diversity and interactivity affect user satisfaction in learning content. We expect these findings can provide useful insights to the providers of e-Book viewers.

In order to obtain a clue in understanding enzymatic hydrolysis in which the His-Cys moieties of papain protease is involved, we prepared cationic peptide-sufactants bearing histidyl, cysteinyl, and both histydyl and cysteinyl residues. Their catalytic efficiency toward the hydrolysis of PNPL were investigated in comicellar phases formed with $N^{+}C_{2}CysC_{12}$, $N^{+}C_{2}HisC_{12}$, $N^{+}C_{2}HisCysC_{12}$ increased markedly in the same order compared with that of $N^{+}C_{2}AlaC_{12}$. The markedly increased catalytic effects are attributed to the imidazole groups of $N^{+}C_{2}HisC_{12}$ and the thiol groups of $N^{+}C_{2}CysC_{12}$, and the large catalytic efficiency of $N^{+}C_{2}HisCysC_{12}$, is considered due to the interaction of the imidazole and the thiol groups. In order to investigate catalytic activities, rate constants for the functional groups, km* and dissociation constants, pKa have been determined. The results showed that $k^{\ast}_m$ and pKa of the imidazole groups were $7.91{\times}10^{-4}S^{-1}$ and 6.49, and those of the thiol groups were $6.00{\times}10^{-4}S^{-1}$ and 10.50. The catalytic effects of comicellar systems on the hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl esters has increased according to the increasing size of the alkyl carbon number. Therefore, the catalytic effects have been increasing by the interaction of micellar hydrophobic parts and substrates as well as action of the functional groups.

In this study, we analyzed the database for items reported to Korea Food and Drug Administration as for manufactured health/functional food during 2010. There were 183 health functional food products manufactured in domestic having over 2 functional ingredients (hereinafter, combinational health functional food) among total 7319 products. Among 183 products, there were 177 products having over two kinds of functional ingredient and 6 products were over 3 ingredients. The most commonly used functional ingredients in the combinational health functional food were Garcinia cambogia extracts which were used in 41 products, Octacosanol and Saw Palmetto extract. When we searched the safety information for the pair of ingredients used in combinational health functional food using several database, there were no reports for safety concern. However, as there are still safety concerns when intake various functional ingredients at once, we suggested to enforce the reporting system of adverse event in order to strength safety management of health functional food. With these complement, the safety management of health functional food might be achieved including a combinational products.

Recently, an artificial beach has been constructed compensating for loss of the natural one caused by the development of coastal area, as well as serving as a location for recreational activities such as sea bathing. It is well known that some structure should be constructed to protect an artificial beach from the outflow due to wave action of the reclaimed sand. In general, dike is utilized as the structure to protect an artificial beach. And, one of the factors which may need to be taken into consideration for stability of dike on seabed foundation is the ground water behavior behind dike. However, the interrelated phenomena of nonlinear wave and ground water response have relatively little attention although these interactions are important for stability of structure and sand suction to the artificial beach. In this paper, the numerical wave tank was developed to clarify nonlinear wave, dike and ground water dynamic interaction, which can simulate the difference of ground water and mean water level. Using the developed numerical wave tank, the present study investigates how variation of ground water level influences hydrodynamic characteristics in seabed around dike and numerically simulates the wave fields, pore flow patterns, pore water pressures and vorticities according to variation of ground water level. Numerical results explain well how hydrodynamic characteristics in seabed around dike is affected by the variation of ground water level.

The concept of genre used to be applied to classify the fine arts also can investigate various way of communication system and classification. The structuring element of genre was identified by form and contents in that field. But the classification of the web, which is new communication tool, was made by defining the purpose of the web. In this paper the genre system, which consists of form, contents, and function, is applied to classify the web so that we offer tile opportunity to identify dearer characteristics of it. In order to investigate the genre elements in the communication process the structure of the semiotic triad after Charles S. Peirce was adapted, which was labeled as representamen, object, and interpretant. The representamen substitutes for the web function, the object does for the form of the web, and the representamen does for the web contents. According to the Peirce's the representamen identify the object but on the other hand it is identified by the interpretant. Logical structure of the fact that form of the web is identified by its function, and the function is identified by the contents is proved by following the theory. Therefore, the concept of web genre is supported by the element of genre having a logical structure activating in the communication process. We suggest that in recent complicated communication circumstance the genre concept should be adapted to implement the effective web communication design.

Several problems occur including lack of humanity, confinement of creativeness, lack of independent learning capability, when elementary students are taught computer, since the they learn only basic functions of computer in general. Accordingly, it is required to have subject-integrated textbook with which they learn curriculum and nurture the humanity as well as creativeness, while studying functions of computer. In light of this, I plan to develop computer textbook, which divided the contents of Hangul 97 and Windows 98, operation system, per subject, and organized them in the order of question to study for himself, part to learn function, formation evaluation, study on subject integration study related to curriculum, part to raise creativeness, and supplementary study, after extracting the contents of curriculum, creative factor and humanity factor suitable for each subjects. By realizing the subject-integrated textbook that enables the interaction by taking advantage of dynamic feature of web, this textbook aims to raise the humanity and creativeness while learning the functions of computer.

This paper predict user acceptance of smart clothing. The present research develops and validates new products for smart clothing. Studies suggest that further analysis of the process be undertaken to better establish properties for smart clothing, underlying structures and stability over innovative technologies. The findings reported in this paper should be useful methods which identify user needs. such findings in now provide a way to explain technology acceptance. Both of qualitative and quantitative methods, were applied to this study in order to find out user needs for smart clothing. We are writing scenarios and conducting both focused group interviews and a survey to assess the user's interest. The purpose of the survey is to evaluate the importance of the functions and to evaluate the degree of the participant's feeling and attitude. Furthermore, we explore the nature and specific influences of factors that may affect the user perception and usage.

Exhibit space is result that various kinds works of architecture design, interior design, plan and control of exhibit program, embodiment to display space, operation and administration etc. are formed accomplishing creation. Because exhibit space must consider interaction of value that is in dwelled along with the external form about human and exhibits. Therefore, display space of exhibition must achieve functional role that can accomplish communication with spectator as well as function as place that possess products of accumulative value. Therefore, we must establish effective communication plan by position and form of display space as well as properly of exhibits, display contents, exhibit program to achieve purpose of trade fair display. Display space of trade fair can be classed by wall style, corner style, head style, island style, two entrance style 5 according to the position. And we must plan communication plan by these position dividing the function to passive communication area, active communication area, intensive communication area, function achievement area. We will can grope contents and method for successful exhibit through communication plan that is connected form and position of exhibit between exhibit space of such trade fair and we may achieve purpose of trade fair display.

This study proposes a theory of consumer experiences based on a cognitive science framework that serves as an alternative to the mainstream marketing paradigm of information processing and choice. The theory consists of three key theoretical constructs: experiential modules, primary vs. secondary experiences, and the hierarchy of experiential modules. Based on this theory, this study investigates the effect of experiential attributes and functional attributes on consumer's product evaluations, and the moderating role of consumer's knowledge. The main research findings are (1) the subjects react faster to sensory and affective stimuli(ex: experiential attributes) than they do to intellectual stimuli (ex: functional attributes), (2) the interaction modularity of attributes(functional vs. experiential) $\times$ tempo(normal vs. fast) $\times$ product knowledge(novice vs. expert) appear significantly with product evaluation as the dependent measure.

This study was conducted to investigate whether Mulligan manual therapy and Physical therapy have effectiveness on the pain and muscle assessment questionnaire in female elders with osteoarthritis of the knee. Thirty subjects were participated in this study. And they were all randomly divided into Mulligan manual therapy and Physical therapy group. To evaluate the effects of Mulligan manual therapy and Physical therapy, subjects were evaluated by using visual analogue scale and muscle assessment questionnaire. The assessment parameters were evaluated before, after 2 weeks, and after 4 weeks treatments. And we received a consent form from Mulligan manual therapy subjects. The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that pain, strength, endurance, coordination/balance were significantly improved after than before therapy in Mulligan manual therapy group. So we conclude that Mulligan manual therapy has effectiveness on the pain and muscle assessment questionnaire in female elders with osteoarthritis of the knee.
