This research is to study about the extrinsic characteristics of imaginary friends in the picture books which are published in Korea and its publishing trend. At first, the pioneering country which is publishing picture books telling about the imaginary friend belongs to the western countries, and some part of them are printed in Japan and Korea among east asia, and its story is most likely fiction, since 2000, the picture books about the imaginary friends have been steadily published. Secondly, its extrinsic characteristics among them are the gender, name of the main character and his/her imaginary friends, and whether the imaginary friend present themselves, their physical types, and the numbers of imaginary friends in the picture books. The percentage of gender between man and woman who is more likely to have the imaginary friends in the picture books are higher to girls than boys, and their imaginary friends are to be called by the intimate or unique name rather than the its general name and/or the name reflected by it appearance, and the imaginary friend are only visible to the main character, and its type are widely ranged from animal, human, and others in frequent order, and the main character tend to have only one imgainary friend rather than to have multiple ones.

This research aims to analyze the gender, sibling, and characteristics of figures who created the imaginary friends among 30 picture books published in Korea. At first, as a result of the research, a total of 35 figures of the 30 books had imaginary friends, of which 24 figures were women and 11 were men, with women more than twice as many as men. Secondly, in many cases, the only child in picture books had the imaginary companion, but in case of the figures who have brothers or sisters, The imaginary companion visited them more frequently to different gender rather than to same gender. Looking at the frequency of appearance of imaginary companion, the eldest, younger brother, and no appearance appeared in order. Third, as a result of examining the personality of figures who created the imaginary companion, their extroversion or introversion has no meaningful correlation each other. These results are meaningful as reference data for understanding children with imaginary friends in reality as picture books reflect the reality of children with imaginary friends and show various situations of infant with imaginary friends in a balanced manner.

This study aims to reflect on mathematical imaginations in learning mathematics and elementary students' mathematical imaginations. This was approaching a study of imagination not as psychological problems but as objects and methods of mathematics learning. First, children's mathematical narratives were analysed in terms of Egan(2008)'s basic cognitive tools using imagination, that is, metaphor, binary opposites, rhyme rhythm pattern, jokes humor, mental imagery, gossip, play, mystery. Second, how children's imaginations change under different grades was addressed.

원래 상상은 무한대이다. 현실가능한지 여부를 따지지 않는다면 말이다. 세상을 바꾸고 혁신을 가져온 사람들 중에는 엉뚱하고 기발한 상상을 잘하는 사람, 즉 몽상가 스타일이 많다. 세기의 천재라 일컫는 미켈란젤로, 발명왕 토머스 에디슨, 상대성 이론을 발견한 아인슈타인 등등. 또 얼마전 세상을 떠난 애플의 스티브잡스도 해당이 된다. 그가 최초로 만든 스마트폰도 불과 10년여 전만해도 한낱 몽상에 불과했다. 무한상상은 이런 점에서 가치가 크다. 세상을 뒤바꿀 지극히 창의적이고 생산적인 활동이다. 필자가 이런 이야기를 하는 이유는 지금부터 펼쳐질 황당한 글을 합리화하기 위해서다. 가상현실 사이버섹스자판기라니? 밥 먹고 쓸데없는 상상을 한다고? 어쨌든 상관없다. 난 필 (feel)이 꽂혔으니까. 막지마라. 나는 상상한다. 고로존재하니까.

본 연구는 서양의 과학적 합리적 이성주의에 대한 단절된 동양문화의 상징적 사유체계에 내재된 상상적 환경을 복원하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 상상적 환경을 복원하기 위해 한국 중국 일본의 고대도시인 서울, 북경(北京), 교토(京都) 등을 사례대상지로 선정하였다. 이들 사례도시의 역사 문화경관을 분석하여 상상적 환경요소를 도출하고자 해석학과 현상학적 접근방법을 활용하였다. 동북아시아 삼국(한 중 일)의 역사문화경관 비교와 재해석을 통해 그 속에서 내재된 상상적 환경을 도출한 결과, 각 도시에 내재된 장소의 정신과 자연환경요소가 인문환경요소로 반영되어 구조화되었으며, 개별요소들이 결합하여 조직화되었고, 점진적으로 장소(場所)의 혼(魂)은 더욱 성화(聖化)되었다. 본 연구는 인간생활의 실존적(實存的) 장(場)인 도시공간을 상상적 환경이라는 새로운 개념으로 비교분석한 최초의 시도로서 의의를 가진다. 그러나 동북아시아 삼국의 역사문화경관에 내재된 상상적 환경의 보편성을 확인한 것은 의미가 있으나, 각 도시별 세부적인 요소에 이르기까지 특수성을 밝히는 데는 한계가 있었다.

Fusion and consilience have been important in many aspects of our education and culture. In this flow 2015 revised National Curriculum aimed to cultivate students of abilities of imagining liberally and inventing scientifically and technically. However imagination including imagination in humanities has not been researched in mathematics education part until nowadays, so mathematics education using imagination of raising students with ingenious and harmonizing abilities is hard to discuss concretely. In this paper I studied the opinions of various scholars from ancient times to today, and discussed where imagination reveals itself in mathematics practices. With above results I discussed some possible shape of teaching and learning of mathematics using imagination. And finally we discussed that meanings in the humanities and social aspects.

본 연구에서는 쾌, 불쾌, 긴장, 이완의 네 가지 상상을 통해 감성의 변화를 유도하였고, 생리 신호 분석을 통해 감성의 변화를 변별하고자 하였다. 20명의 피험자를 대상으로 네 가지 상상을 각각 30초씩 수행하게 하면서 EEG, ECG, GSR, PPG, RSP, Skin-Temperature를 각각 측정하였고 측정 종료 후 주관적 평가를 실시하였따. 주관적 평가 분석 결과, 피험자는 뚜렷이 구별되는 네 가지 상상을 한 것으로 나타났고, 쾌도는 “쾌 > 이완, 긴장 > 불쾌” 상상 순서의 3단계로, 긴장도는 “긴장 > 불쾌, 쾌 > 이완” 상상 순서의 3단계로 뚜렷이 구별되었다. EEG 분석 결과에서는 쾌와 불쾌, 쾌와 이완 상상 사이에서만, 자율신경계 반응 역시 약 2.5 단계의 긴장도 감성 변별이 가능하여 정확한 3단계의 감성 변별에는 어려움이 있었다. 그러나 향후 비선형 분석법을 적용하고 피험자 수를 증가시킨다면 생리 신호 분석을 통한 감성 변별 민감도를 증가시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구로부터 쾌/불쾌와 긴장/이완의 2차원의 감성 영역의 각 축을 EEG와 자율신경계의 생리 신호를 통해 변별할 수 있다는 가능성을 확인하였다.

Makerspace was constructed to assist the public in creating new business, industry and market opportunities by combining their creative ideas with technology. So far, in Korea, a total of 58 makerspaces have been constructed and are running currently. Makerspaces are equipped with a variety of high-tech devices such as 3D printing technology and a laser cutter as means for transforming ideas into their prototypes. In this study, we examined users' experiences in makerspaces using online questionnaires and face-to-face interviews. We then presented motivations for using makerspace, interest in using it, concerns about using technologies, and other issues related to using makerspaces. Based on the results, we proposed three suggestions to improve users' experiences in makerspaces. These suggestions include: (1) supporting teaching and learning practices in makerspaces, (2) providing professional development opportunities for instructors in makerspaces, and (3) promoting innovative services that accommodate diverse users' needs.

The Gwanghalu garden which has a pond of approximately $6,000m^2$ around the pavilion at Namwon City, used as official uses consists of the various imaginary environmental elements such as moon palace as an immortal world, miniatured cosmology and law of nature. This study has focused on the interpretation of the imaginary environmental elements at 1) the name of garden structures, 2) the paintings on the structures, 3) the poems on the garden, and then emphasized on the values of imaginary environments at the historic sites which have been abandoned because of the Westernized scientific attitude in landscape design. Imaginary environment is the 3rd one above the natural and built environment which was a long traditional culture. Accordingly education on landscape architecture might pay attention to this lost environment, imaginary to give the people dream.

This research is to find out what kinds of function imaginary companions do to the characters in a picture book featuring imaginary companions. To this end, a total of 26 picture books featuring imaginary companions published in Korea were analyzed using content analysis to assess the function of imaginary companions in the relationship between the main character and imaginary companions. As a result of the study, the imaginary companions were found to play the function of playmates (77%), care givers and/or advisers (42%), companions (42%), other egos (38%), those who get wish realized (23%), those who sharing emotion (23%), and emotion controllers (19%). In the picture book, the imaginary companion was performing various functions according to the situation and needs of the characters. Mostly two to three (2~3) kinds of functions were performed in the each analyzed picture book, and as a result of analyzing trends out of 26 picture books, it showed that there are three types of trends in relationship, which was horizontal, vertical and other egos. The imginary companions depicted in the picture books were not only being who helps realize whishes, take care of main characters, and control their emotions, but also appeared to share hearts, project other ego and be a good friend with an equal level of relationship that plays together always.
