우연(chance)과 역사(history)라는 비결정적인 요소(indeterministic)와 수요 측 규모의 경제(demand-side economy of scale)에 의해 특징지어 지는 네트워크 산업은 제품(기술)의 표준화 흑은 호환성이 핵심이 되며 산업 내 기업들은 시장선정을 위하여 치열한 경쟁을 하게 된다 산업 내에서 표준설정은 개별기업들의 내부적 문제라기 보다는 독립 기업들간의 협조(cooperation)와 경쟁(competition)의 문제로. 표준화 경쟁은 기술적인 관점에서보다는 다분히 경쟁전략적 관점에서 이루어지며 기업들도 이러한 점을 인식하고 다양한 경쟁전략을 구사하고 있다. 본 고에서는 제품의 생명주기(life cycle)와 기술(제품)의 특징에 따른 표준화 경쟁의 양상과 그에 따른 기업의 최적 경쟁전략을 모색하고, 다이나믹 모형(Dynamic Model)을 통하여 표준화 경쟁의 동태적 패턴을 분석해 보고자 한다.

인류문명의 발생과 함께 자연발생적으로 생긴 인간의 지혜로서 집단생활에 편의를 제공하는 동시에 생존을 위한 기초방편으로 표준화(또는 규격화, standardization)의 필요성이 대두되었다. 산업혁명이후 산업사회가 형성되고 물자의 대량생산, 대량소비 체제가 갖추어짐에 따라 생산의 합리화 수단으로 조직화된 의식적 활동이 시작되었으며, 산업사회의 성숙과 기술의 진보에 수반하여 그때 그때의 환경의 영향을 받아 활동영역을 넓히면서 질적 변화를 이루어왔다. 따라서 표준화작업은 오늘날 산업과 기술의 기반으로서. 기업활동의 효율화와 품질보증을 유지하는 기본적인 활동으로 인식되고있다.(중략)

지식경제부 기술표준원(원장 허경)은 11월 11일 기술표준원 중강당에서 제7회 한국파렛트컨테이너산업대상 시상식을 개최하고 파렛트 및 컨테이너 분야의 품질향상 및 표준화에 기여한 유공자 및 업체를 표창했다. 일곱번째가 되는 이 행사는 물류산업의 기본설비인 파렛트와 컨테이너에 대한 표준화를 이행하고 표준설비 사용을 확산하기 위하여 표준 파렛트와 표준 컨테이너의 생산, 보급 및 사용실적이 우수한 기업과 표준화에 기여한 유공자를 선정하여 매년 시상하고 있다. 일관수송체제의 가장 핵심인 파렛트는 국가표준(KS)인 일관수송파렛트 T11형을 2003년 국제표준(ISO)에 반영시킨 이후 정부, 업계 및 관련단체의 지속적인 노력으로 국내물류산업에 약 40%정도의 표준화를 이루는데 앞장섰다. 제7회 한국파렛트컨테이너산업대상 수상자들의 공적을 살펴보도록 한다.

This study analyzes the requirements for international standardization by studying the approach to international standardization of equipment and bulk materials in the offshore oil & gas industry, and describes the prioritization of standardized equipment and the result of standardization in the first stage. Currently, international standardization activities can be classified into three activities. First, international standardization activities of bulk materials led by three major domestic shipbuilders, second, JIP33 equipment standardization activities led by IOGP, and finally, And standardization activities of UEJIP equipment centered on classification society. This study classifies various international standards applied in the offshore oil & gas industry, and introduces the activities of standardization activities of class-leading equipment and actual application examples.

The rapid technical development is changing the environment in the telecommunications industry that is the convergence among technologies, the intensive competition, and so on. Standardization is the core issue in the telecommunications industry, and it is recognized the important strategy to preempt a market by all firms. The telecommunication industry has far-reaching effects to the other industries, so firms in the telecommunications industry compete intensively against one another build on early lead. Because the defeat in standardization competition cause the pertinent nation a great loss. Therefore it shows the intense competition from the early stage in the telecommunications industry. In this paper, we'll examin the change in environment in relation to standardization in the telecommunication and suggest the national policies of standardization.
