E-book Customer Service Satisfaction by Using E-S-Qual (e-서비스 품질 평가모형을 이용한 전자책 서비스 이용자 만족도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive the suggestion of satisfaction of e-book services on the basis of the recent literature on quality assessment for e-service which have been mainly studied on library realm. For this purpose, This study added post-management service which is applicable to measure satisfaction of e-book services based on E-S-Qual and Libqual. We expand our scope of service to using of e-book content and services for individual customers, and analyzed the relationship between satisfaction with the system, the content, the after-sale service. On this foundation, existing e-book service companies can offer their services more efficiently, thereby making the e-book content more diverse, along with developing specialized e-book service to increasing their customer's satisfaction. In addition, the latest and diversity is important as well. Moreover, performing rapid post-management services after the sale of the product or service, can be important variables for customer satisfaction. Therefore, not only the system and content, providing required level post-management services by customers can satisfy the existing customers and create new customers.

Effect of Glycolysis Rate in Porcine Muscle Postmortem on Gel Property of Pork Surimi (돼지 근육의 사후 해당속도가 돈육 수리미의 젤 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • Properties of pant surimi derived from porcine longissimus muscle were investigated Rapid glycolysis of muscle reduced yield $\%$ of water-washed pork and moisture $\%$ of pent surimi because of ie lower ultimate pH. Gel Hardness was significantly (p<0.05) higher in pork surimi from rapid glycolysis muscle, but springiness was higher (p<0.05) in pork surimi from normal glycolysis muscle. SDS-PAGE pattern showed denaturation of sarcoplasmic proteins onto myofibrillar proteins in rapid glycolysis muscle, resulted in dark color and hard texture of pork surimi. Color and texture of gels were related with water-holding capacity of muscle proteins and moisture $\%$ in gel matrix. Results imply that glycolysis rate of porcine muscle at postmortem could affect gel properties of pork surimi, and muscle with rapid glycolysis muscle could produce a hard texture of pork surimi and dark color.

Effects of Liberal Arts Education Using PSAs through Visual Media on Character for Prospective Teachers (영상매체 공익광고를 활용한 교양수업이 사범대생들의 인성에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether character education program using Youtube PSAs affect psychological and social maturity of pre-service teachers. For data collections, questionnaires and semi-structured interview are used by 23 sophomores majoring in teacher education. The results are as follows. First, the participants showed highly significant improvement on each of two maturities as well as entire psychological and social maturity. Second, the score of factors of social maturity was lower than that of those of psycho maturity. it could be estimated that college students live in nuclear family and individualization is valued more. Third, while pre-test scores of entire psycho-social maturity are not statistically significant, post-test scores of each of psycho-social maturity indicated statistical significance. In particular, unlike pre-test, there is a strong positive correlation in post-test due to mutually positive impact of two factors. Fourth, there was no statistically significant sex difference. Lastly, according to the result of interview, participants had strong views on the effects of personality education associated with use of Youtube PSAs on motivation and focus in class, caring for others, and leading to positive behaviors.

The Effects of Reading-Based Learning Coaching Program for Middle School Students in County-level City (지방의 군 단위 지역 중학생 대상 독서기반 학습코칭 프로그램의 효과성 검증)

  • The purpose of this research is verifying the effects born by reading-based learning coaching programs on Korean language performance and the psychological variables of middle school students. A reading-based learning coaching program applied alongside a coaching model was developed and presented to first grade middle school students living in a local county-level city. The psychological variables were measured three times: prior to the program, immediately following the end of the program, and one month after the end of the program. Korean language performance was only measured twice: prior to the program and following the end of the program. Results revealed that compared to the control group, the experiment exhibited showed significant improvement in the scores of learning efficacy and self-regulation efficacy after the program. As well, these changes lasted for up to one month after the program. The future time perspective didn't show any significant interaction effects between time and group. The experimental group's performance in terms of Korean language was also significantly improved after completing the program. Based on these results, implications and limitations are discussed.

Interactions among Components of Pedagogical Content Knowledge of Science Teachers in a Teacher Learning Community (교사학습공동체 과학 교사의 PCK 요소 간 상호작용)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine interactions among components of pedagogical content knowledge of middle school science teachers in a teacher learning community targeting science practice-based instruction. Data collection consisted of pre and post questionnaire and interview with each of five science teachers, audio-recording of teacher discussion in a teacher learning community, lesson plans, teacher written reflection, and video-recording of teaching practice. Qualitative data analysis revealed that there were two types of interactions, i.e., one-way interaction and two-ways interaction among components of pedagogical content knowledge of science teachers in a teacher learning community. There were also consecutive interactions as well as one-shot interaction. For two-ways interaction there were synchronous two-ways interaction in a teacher learning community meeting as well as consecutive two-ways interaction along with several meetings. This study provides implications that collaborative learning context in a teacher learning community should stimulate various types interactions among components of pedagogical content knowledge.

Exploratory Study on the Levels of Participation and Interaction in Online Debate of the Classes with Discussion Session (토론식 수업에서 온라인 토론의 참여적 차원과 상호작용 차원에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • The aim of this study was to analyze the levels of learners' participation and interactions both quantitatively and qualitatively based on the learners' choices of topic patterns in a process of online debate of a general subject and to explore the effects in order to suggest the ways for activating online debates. For this, it quantitatively analyzed the messages and the patterns in the online debate boards and supplementally implemented a post survey in order to investigate the participants' recognition on the factors of the learners' interactions and the effects. The given topic patterns were 'the presentation of one's opinion' and 'the presentation of pros and cons.' As a result of the analysis, the participating degree was higher in the pattern of 'the presentation of one's opinion' apart from the previous study. This study surveyed and, based on the result, it proposed the teachers should refer to the participants' tendency in advance. Also, it presented the deeper meanings on the interactions extracted by the results of the survey. The learners showed the strong dependence on the teacher' lectures or his materials and a variety of interactions with diverse objects. Besides, it is revealed that debates are helpful factors for enhancing learners' argumentative thinking, writing skills, and the knowledge about the subject in terms of the participants' recognition. Based on the findings, this study emphasized the teachers' educational roles and suggested the educational effects of the online debates in each class should be activated in this era of distance education.

  • 최근 한 자녀 가정이 늘어나면서 아동의 정서적 안정을 위해 반려동물을 키우는 가정이 늘고 있다. 그러나 맞벌이, 알레르기 등 기타 요인으로 실제 동물을 키우기 힘든 환경의 가정이 많다. 본 연구에서는 인터렉티브 동물 장난감이 반려동물의 대안이 될 수 있는지 조사해 보고 그의 필요성과 발전 방향을 모색한다. 만 4세~9세 자녀를 둔 10개 가구를 대상으로 Ethnography 연구조사를 통해 다각도로 관찰하여 결론을 제시한다. 인터렉티브 동물 장난감의 외형 및 목적에 따라 두 개의 그룹으로 나누어 부모를 통한 근접 관찰 및 아동과 부모의 사전/사후 설문 등을 통해 현재 인터렉티브 동물 장난감이 아동에게 줄 수 있는 영향을 분석해 보고, 아동과 정서적 상호작용을 하는 목적으로 발전하기 위한 방향성을 제시한다.

Effects of Pair Types on English Vocabulary Acquisition (짝 구성 유형이 영어어휘습득에 미치는 효과)

  • This study aimed at investigating the effects of grouping participants in pairs according to their relative vocabulary proficiency on the incidental improvement of vocabulary knowledge. Forty six university students were divided into three groups (high-high(n=14), high-low(n=18), or low-low(n=14)) and took part in the study. They performed three vocabulary activities in pairs as extra-class works. Data were collected from one receptive vocabulary knowledge test scores before treatment and two posttest scores after treatment. The results showed that, unlike former study results, HL dyads acquired more vocabulary receptively and productively than HH or LL dyads did, which demonstrated that collaborative pair activity was conducive to the growth of vocabulary knowledge. Furthermore, not only higher proficiency participants in HL pairs made greater vocabulary gains than participants in HH pairs did but also lower proficiency participants gained more vocabulary than participants in LL pairs did. Based on these results, we discussed pedagogical implications.

The Effect of Electrical Stimulation Level on Autonomic Nerve System in Normal Adults (전기자극 수준이 정상 성인의 자율신경계에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect the interferential current (IFC) stimulation level according to autonomic nerve system (ANS) of healthy adults. IFC measured with adhesive 2-pole electrodes pad on T1~T4 spinal cord segment level that electrode stimulation of 20 min after. A total of 45 healthy adults participated in the study, who were randomly divided into three groups: 15 of sensory level stimulus group (100 bps, 10~12 mA), 15 of exercise level stimulus group (5 bps, 45~50 mA), 15 of noxious level stimulus group (100 bps, 80~90 mA). Measured items were sympathetic activity and parasympathetic activity. In order to identify the changes in measurement variables before electrode stimulation and after and 30 min stimulation. The comparison of sympathetic and parasympathetic activity in each group revealed that they was changes of after vs 30 min in after electrical stimulation time(p<.05).

Influence of Cognitive Conflict Strategy Through Swing Experience on the Students' Conception of Force on a Simple Pendulum (그네타기 체험을 통한 인지갈등 전략이 학생들의 단진자에 작용하는 힘 개념에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined 8th-graders' conceptions of force on a simple pendulum and investigated cognitive conflict and conceptual change through kinesthetic experience in swing. Participants of this study were guided to anticipate the direction of total force acting on a pendulum at three critical positions and observed it through swing experience. Having completed this, students read an article explaining the results they observed. Most of them considered gravity, tension, and motion-force to be the real forces acting on a pendulum in pre-test. Though they were interested in the activity and conceded their expectations to be different from observed results, the degrees of their cognitive conflict were not significantly high. In summation, 'interest' was the highest and 'anxiety' was the lowest. Most of the students memorized the direction of forces on a swing, but few could explain the reason behind the occurrence in an immediate post-test and delayed post-test.
