A currency exchange is the rate to exchange currencies between different countries and the one of important factors to measure the economic size or status of a country. The currency exchange is affected by various economic or social events and changed dynamically. However, since too many economic and social factors affect the exchange rate and the leverage rate of each factor is so floating, it is difficult to define clearly the relationships between the exchange rate and the specific factor. In this paper, we analyze the data pattern for the exchange rate and news articles. To do this, we counts the frequencies of words presented in the news articles during specific periods and compare the frequencies with the margins of exchange rates.

Issues regarding "generation" are facing a renaissance during recent years. One of prevailing reasons for this development is the crisis of collective identities due to diverse contemporary socio-political circumstances and cultural characteristics of Korean society. However, it is often criticized that the sociological examination of this topic is rather in a obscure stage resulting from the inherent confusion and ambiguities mainly caused by the mixed usage of the concept. In this regard, this study explores the possibility of answering these critics and refining the systemic usage for the sociology of generation in the realm of social changes and social innovations. For this purpose, analytical classification of the concept based on various contextual typology are attempted.attempted.

This paper attempts to analyze labor politics under the Kim Young-Sam regime. The labor politics transformed from conflictual pluralism to social partnership. The transition was triggered by the 'IMF economic crisis,' and the transitional direction was determined by the character of political regime and the pattern of social coalitions. These findings imply that the transitional direction of labor politics is not determined by an economic crisis or international pressure, but by the relational dynamics of social coalitions forcing social actors to new perception and strategic choice.

To determine the reliable probabilistic distribution model of geotechnical properties, outlier and randomness test for analysis data, parameter estimation of probabilistic distribution model, and goodness-of-fit test for model parameter and probabilistic distribution model have to be performed in sequence. In this paper, the probabilistic distribution model's geotechnical properties of Songdo area in Incheon are estimated by the above proposed procedure. Also, the coefficient of variation (COV) representing the variability of geotechnical properties is determined for several geotechnical properties. Reliable probabilistic distribution model and COV of geotechnical properties can be used for probability-based design procedure and reasonable choice of design value in deterministic design method.

The religious discourse produced by the daily newspapers can be viewed as a 'social-relationship' discourse rather than a religion's 'faith-identity' discourse. As a social relationship discourse, the understanding of Korean Church (Protestantism) discourses should be understood in the context of the social structural changes in South Korea. The public discourse produced by the media shows a reality that has been interpreted with specific values and standards on the premise of Spatio-temporal specificity rather than the actual social reality. This research approaches the Korean Church discourses produced by the daily newspaper from a social constructionism perspective. Moreover, the globalization theory is especially highlighted due to the social structural changes in South Korea. The research purpose is to reflect on the relationship between Korean society and the Korean Church in the 21st-century Korean situation through content analysis and discourse analysis in Korean newspapers. As a result of analysing the Korean Church discourse produced by the daily newspapers over the past 18 years (2004-2021), it was found that various mutual conflicts between Korean society and the Korean church were occurring.
