The Generation of Local Terrain Model Using Digital Close-Range Photogrammety (근거리 수치사진측랑을 이용한 국부지형모형의 생성)

  • The close-range photogrammetry is a surveying technique the acquiring the 3D object from 2D geometric appearance shown in the image. Camera treatment is relatively so simple. Camera position refer to the object can be freely adjusted by locating the exposure station at any site. So it is used effectively on a small area or object for survey. In this study, using the digital camera which has capacity of keeping numerical value by itself and easy carrying, we analyze the positioning error according to various change of photographing condition. Also we try to find a effective method of acquiring basis data for 3D monitoring of high-accuracy in sub-pixel degree thorough digital close-range photogrammetry with bundle adjustment for local terrain model generation.

  • 1960년대 이후 빠른 도시화는 도시 자연환경, 그중에서도 도시 하천을 많이 변화 또는 훼손시켰다. 한강은 서울의 중심을 흐르는 강으로서 60년대 이후 도시화로 인해 유로변경, 천변백사장 망실 등 자연경관이 급격히 변화하였다. 오늘날 하천은 도시의 생태통로로서 뿐만 아니라 천변 녹지 및 오픈스페이스로서 그 가치의 중요성을 인정받고 있다. 따라서 변화된 하천자연경관은 환경복원의 주요 대상이며 이를 위해서는 훼손되기 전 하천경관의 원형파악이 필수적이다. 경관의 원형파악을 위해서는 촬영당시의 지형, 지물의 구체적인 정보들을 보유하고 있는 항공사진과 고해상도 위성영상 등의 원격탐사 자료를 이용, 대상지의 지형, 지질, 식생, 토괴 등을 판독하여 자연경관의 변화를 파악하는 것이 효과적이다. 최근에는 항공사진 외에도 IKONOS 위성 영상과 같은 고해상도영상을 판독한 후 이를 수치사진측량기법을 이용하여 경관변화의 계량적 파악을 시도하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한강을 대상으로 1966년부터 2002년까지의 변화를 상기 방법을 이용하여 하천 자연경관변화를 파악하였다. 판독결과 대부분의 하천 변화는 모래사장과 곡류하천이 소멸돼 다른 용도로 전환된 것으로 나타났으며 모래사장은 하천 직강화로 인해 하천으로 변했으며 하천은 단지 및 택지개발에 따른 천변도로 개설로 인해 소멸된 것이 가장 큰 원인으로 각각 나타났다.

  • X-Ray photogrammetry is the method that register and analize the anatomical or physiological information about the human body by the photography form. In this paper, using X-Ray, accuracy of three dimensional coordinates of objects which are deformed and a part of human body is analyzed. An objective of this analysis lies in improving the accuracy of three dimensional coordinates and enhancing the practical use. Through the observation, X-Ray Photogrammetry is used in practical use. And X-Ray photograph is used the reform of graphical model by the determination of the three dimensional coordinates about all sides of object.

  • Together with the requirements of tunnels, its construction methods and technologies have been pretty much developed, but frequent accidents happened under the constructions are just one of important problems which should be improved. To detect the potential hazardous factors in or ahead of time, speedy and accurate observation are absolutely required, but currently surveying method using tapes, level and total station, has been generally taken in measuring of tunnel convergence and crown. The purpose of this study is, as using of industrial photogrammetry system which is supplying more accuracy and speedy in the measure of tunnel convergence and crown. From the result of this study, we have got up to 1/20,000 accuracy and totally 6 minutes, from picturing 5 sections by one person to data edition, has been taken except setting targets.

Development of the Educational Database of Picture Data for the Korean Geography Course of High School (고등학교 한국지리 교육용 영상자료 데이터베이스 개발)

  • One of the fundamental, important preconditions for effective teaching of geography is to collect a variety of picture data available for class and to manage the data systematically. The purpose of this study is to present one method about how to supply basic picture data available for class of Korean geography for the high school program to teachers in service and how to collect, manage and utilize the data. A total of 233 picture data related to contents of the textbook of Korean Geography have been gathered through this study, and a database has been constructed for the data. Directories were generated for individual units of the textbook, and the collected picture data was stored in the image file of each directory. This data was recorded in a CD and attached as an appendix. Since the primary purpose of this study is to suggest one method, the picture data in a database for the present study is just a fraction of lots of data available for class of Korean geography. If the user persistently enlarges and manages data based on the results of this study, the data will become a good instructional aid. The picture data can be printed over the transparent film and used for class by using the overhead protector (OHP), or it can be also used as a remote self-study tool through the computer telecommunications network (e.g., LAN or INTERNET. etc,). Most desirable, however, is to develop teachers' own method by taking account of separate units of the textbook or diverse educational environments.

  • 컴퓨터 그래픽스 기술과 H/W의 발달로 3D GIS에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 최근 3D GIS에 대한 활발한 연구 중 3D 가상도시의 구축이 중요한 연구로 떠오르고 있다. 3D 가상도시는 국방, 교통, 통신, 지적, 지하시설물, 관광, 도시계획, 도시모델링 등에 다양하게 활용될 수 있다. 현재 우리나라에서 3D 가상도시의 구축은 미약하지만 앞으로 그 수요는 더욱 더 많아질 것이다. 3D 가상도시의 구축에는 GIS, 컴퓨터 그래픽스, Database, 자료구조, 3D 모델링 등의 다양한 기술이 필요하다. 3D 가상도시의 구축의 방법은 크게 1/1,000수치지도+실제측량, 1/1,000수치지도+입체 인공위성 영상+수치사진측량, 1/1,000수치지도+항공사진측량 도화원도, 1/1,000수치지도+항공레이저스캐닝의 방법을 적용해 볼 수 있다. 현재 우리나라 여건상 첫 번째 방법이 가장 일반적으로 사용이 되나 도화원도에 대한 규제를 완화하여 세 번째 방법을 적용하는 것이 가장 효과적일 것이다. 3D 가상도시는 인터넷 기술과 접목이 되어 3D Web GIS의 형태로 앞으로의 GIS 주류를 이룰 것이다. 그러나 국내에서 3D 가상도시의 구축에 관한 연구는 미약한 수준이다. 3D 자료취득, 자료처리, 모델링 부문에 대한 연구가 시급하다.

  • With broadcasting telecommunication, rapid change detection, and construction of spatial information, a long reconnaissance, resources detection in dangerous area and natural disasters, which are difficult for manned aerial vehicles to perform, international recognition in UAV merely being used for limited military purposes has been changed and its demand for both civil and military purpose have been increased. However, considering the current situation that availability of UAV varies and its working areas also broaden, the stability of UAV and the problems of privacy protection are more important in integrated operation of UAV. In particular, the application of UAV system is urgent for the area where rapid decision making due to expedite data construction such as disaster, calamity, and the acquisition of spatial information for small area are required. However, since technical stability for UAV system and institutional regulation in regard of spatial information are not examined, and UAV system has not been integrated with aerial photograph, the limitation of UAV system has been presented. Thus, this study is aimed at analyzing domestic and foreign research trend and institutional research trend in terms of integrated UAV operation, and proposing its implications and the availability of integrated UAV operation for future national spatial information data construction.

  • Social study for province textbook is very difficulty for experience and learning in classroom because the contents of social study for province text book is consist of contents about very far away places. And there are less contents than normal subject. Especially, children need experiences and enough contents for learning in social study for province textbook. The purpose of this paper are as follows: 1) design and implementation of PVR contents 2) applying 4th grade social study for province textbook 3) inspecting for satisfaction degree and result of students about the efficiency of PVR contents.

  • More than ten years after the era of GPS-Photogrammetry which could provide us only three projection center of all six exterior orientation parameters, direct georeferencing with GPS/INS is now becoming a standard method for image orientation. Its main advantage is to skip or reduce the indirect ground control process. This paper describes the experimental test results of integrated sensor orientation with a commercial GPS/IMU system to approve its performance in determination of exterior orientation. For this purpose two different imaging blocks were planned and the area was photographed at a large photo scale of 1:5,000 and a medium photo scale of 1:20,000. From these data set a variety of meaningful results was acquired, i.e., the accuracy. potential of exterior orientation from direct georeferencing and combined block adjustment using these data considering different photo scales and conditions.

  • It is desirable to use a photogrammetric scanner to minimize the errors from the scanning procedure in case of building aerial photo image DB. The photogrammetric scanner, however, is highly expensive to have only limited number of scanners available, therefore the general-purpose scanners have been considered as an alternative. This study has mainly been focused to see the possibility of the general-purpose scanner to be used for scanning aerial photographs. For that, the analysis of the image coordinates were made as well as the accuracy evaluation of each phase. In addition to that, as the application of the orthophoto images has been increased, the magnitudes of the errors from the DEM generation and orthophoto projection were analyzed. Also, the calibration program was developed to verify the geometric distortion of the automatic scanner to contribute to enhance the quality of the aerial photo image DB.
