본 연구는 공공도서관 사인시스템을 조사하고 그 결과를 토대로 실무에서 사용할 수 있는 공공도서관 사인시스템 체크리스트를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구의 배경은 공공도서관 사인시스템의 현황과 도서관 사인의 지속적인 활용에 있다. 이에 따라 공공도서관 현장 조사와 문헌 조사를 통하여 공공도서관 사인시스템 체크리스트를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 공공도서관 사인시스템의 체크리스트는 사인 유지 보수 및 관리인 실무적 측면과 사인 기능 별 측면을 고려하여 작성되었다. 도서관 사인 관리자가 도서관 사인을 구축하고 관리할 때 효율적이고 지속가능한 도서관 사인을 구축할 수 있도록 하였다.

Sign system is one of the most widely used guide media in scenic spots. It plays vital role in introducing cultural values of destinations to tourists with better visit experience. The purpose of this study is to derive the influence factors of the sign system of Mount Tai scenic area for tourists, analyze the satisfaction of tourists, and provide suggestions for the sign system of Mount Tai Mountaineering Road to improve tourists' satisfaction in the future. The evaluation items of Mount Tai Mountaineering Road sign system were derived from the previous studies and then subdivided comprehensively. Survey by questionnaires was carried out to obtain the influence factors. In order to understand the satisfaction degree of tourists, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was implemented. The research results of this study are summarized as follows. First, four influence factors of the sign system on Mountaineering Road of Mount Tai were concluded as the interpretation content, appearance modeling, interpretation methods and layout management. Second, the order of weight values of influence factors was the interpretation content, appearance modeling, interpretation methods and layout management respectively from high to low, which means that tourists paid more attention to practicality and aesthetics. Third, the satisfaction degree of the tourists on the sign system was different. The satisfaction level for the three factors (interpretation content, appearance modeling, layout management) was good, while the satisfaction for interpretation method was medium. The reason was that it failed to deepen the understanding of tourists on the natural and cultural values of Mount Tai Mountaineering Road. These results indicate great significance to provide theoretical basis for the later readjustment and design of the sign system and to improve the overall satisfaction of tourists on tourism experience.

The National Library of Korea installs and operates various signs for the purpose of efficient use of visitor and information transmission. In this study, the present status of the existing signatures of the National Library of Korea was surveyed and the satisfaction survey was conducted for the patron and staff. Based on this, we suggested the improvement of visual continuity (connectivity), changing the installation location, reduction of excess sign, limitations of temporary attachment signatures, and easy to understand contents as user's guide to efficient library use and improvement of National Central Library sign system.

Most of the sign systems involved in evacuation are not useful in seismic situations where people have to evacuate with their heads bowed, given that they are at the top of the wall. Based on the analysis and understanding of seismic evacuation situations, this study proposes a sign system as a measure for rapid seismic evacuation. First, understand the seismic situation based on the video analysis of the earthquake evacuation situation. Second, the need for a sign system to help secure evacuation in earthquake situations was derived. Third, the on-site survey examined the suitability of the Sine system installed in Korea as an escape facility for the earthquake evacuation situation. Based on the video analysis and on-site survey, it was concluded that the installation of escape guidance lamps alone could not induce rapid evacuation in the earthquake situation. In this study, a sign system is proposed to help the use of doors by installing a sign system near an emergency exit light.

오늘날 관광업은 나날이 한 도시의 중요한 경제 수입 업종이 되고 있으며, 관광업은 지방의 경제 발전에 대체적인 작용을 한다. 사인시스템에서 중요한 공공시설로서, 없어서는 안 되는 작용을 하고 있다. 관람객들은 사인시스템을 통해 목적지를 찾는 데 필요한 시간을 단축할 수 있고, 관광지에 대한 전반적인 인상도 높일 수 있다. 고대 고성 안내 사인시스템에 대한 연구와 완벽을 통해서 옛 고성로 하여금 더욱 좋은 개발 기회를 얻게 하다. 이곳을 찾은 사람들이 역사와 문화에 대해 더 잘 알게 해 준다고 말했다. 본 논문의 연구 대상은 중국 남북의 역사문화관광지 중에서 선발한 AAAA급 이상의 관광지이다. 본 연구의 연구 대상으로 선정된 4개 관광지는 리장고성, 관도고성, 선양고궁. 첫째, 관련 문헌을 통해 사인디자인과 관련된 요소를 파악, 이들 요소를 바탕으로 설문 조사의 관련 문항을 제작했다. 둘째, 관광지마다 현장조사를 하고 관련 사진을 수집해 설문조사의 기초 자료로 활용했다. 네 개의 관광지의 사인시스템에 대해 설문조사를 실시하다. 셋째, 설문조사 결과를 집계한다.

This study investigated the current status of the design and direction of improvement of the sign system of urban railway stations in the Seoul metropolitan area to see how difficult it is for users to use. As a research method, first, a theoretical study on the literature of the urban railway sign system, second, a survey on the current status of the sign design of the Gimpo Goldline in the Seoul metropolitan area, and third, a survey on the actual use of the sign and problems was conducted. As a result of the current status survey, the location sign is in central alignment with the font of the guide sign, and the guidance sign is in front/back alignment according to the location of the entrance and exit. The background of the font is white and the text is dark black to make it look good to the user. On the other hand, guidance sign is written in white color and background color is gray color. Currently, the Gimpo Urban Railway Guidance Sign System is newly produced and installed, but there is a lack of user design and needs design maintenance that can clearly deliver information to users.

본 연구의 배경은 공공도서관 사인시스템의 현황과 지속적인 활용에 있다. 수많은 정보 중 필요한 정보를 선별하고 수용하는 것이 중요한 현대사회에서 사인시스템은 원만한 상호작용을 위한 주요수단이다. 특히 복잡한 구조와 공간의 기능을 함께 지니고 있는 도서관에서 정보를 파악하기 위해서 명확한 지각효과를 갖춘 사인의 역할은 무엇보다 중요하다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 이용자가 공공도서관을 이용할 때 어떠한 요소가 정보를 수용하고 시각적으로 인지하는데 많은 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 그리고 선정된 도서관을 대상으로 기능 및 시각적 요소에 따라 사례분석을 한 후 이용자 만족도 조사를 실시하여 효과적이고 편리하게 도서관을 이용할 수 있도록 정보를 제시하는데 목적이 있다.

Metro stations are public places used by many people. If they use the station frequently, there is no struggling to find a way. But the first tourists or foreigners to visit are facing finding difficulties because of errors of the complicated sign and information. This study is the guidance of the metro station sign to provide effective information system and the research on the design improvement of metro station. In the first survey for this study I proceeded research about the concept of sign systems in metro station and literature search. In the second survey, I researched needs of the problems of the metro station users. In the third survey, I investigated Busan Metro Station's problems and design to improve the guide sign. In the survey results, users had a lot of difficulties in finding information because systematically increasing amount of information and guidance of the metro station. People can't find information because of sign indiscreet commercial advertising. Also they can get false information from sign without unity. To deal with these problems the metro station needs to improve design for a second-class citizen and refrain commercial advertising and design for information transfer capability.

The study began in recent years with the aim of grasping the nation's medical status following the fast-growing trend of international medical tourism and attracting foreign patients, among other things, Busan, which ranks second in attracting foreign patients after the nation's capital, Seoul, has been highly active in the past eight years, with foreign patients rising by about 426 percent, and Russian patients entering the sea. In addition, Gimhae and Changwon, the Busan-based Gyeongsangnam-do region, ranked first and second in number of foreign residents, and are inhabited by a variety of foreign workers. Medical institutions, such as hospitals, should be able to find directions within hospitals. It is also a space where information in various languages, including Korean, English, Chinese, or Russian, must be delivered in a single medium. Based on this research, the purpose of this research is to provide converged information that helps foreigners who are not familiar with Korean language easily understand the proposed recognition system when visiting hospitals. Therefore, this paper is applied to a multi-language survey of six medical institutions (A, B, C, D, E, F) at the university hospital in Busan, and 10 medical institutions (R, J) in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province with high foreign residents. Research results and contents are as follows. First, the results of analyzing the design of the sinusoidal system show that the font uses colorless Gothic fonts, arrows, and pictograms to introduce the design of a typical hospital sign system. Second, the results of the multi-lingual situation were found to have only two languages in the system, such as Korean and English, and to have four languages, including Korean, English, Chinese, and Russian, according to their geographical location. However, it was judged that most medical institutions currently have only two languages (Korean, English) that may cause some discomfort in terms of language for foreign patients in non-English speaking countries. Based on these findings, it is necessary to propose designs that are considered by Koreans as well as foreign users in the use of multilingual hospital sign systems.
