  • 최근들어 초광대역 시간 도약 임펄스 무선 전송(ultra wideband time hopping impulse radio; 이하 IR) 기술이 실내 무선 LAN이나 군용 무선 통신 시스템 등을위한 새로운대역 확산 전송 방식으로서 큰 관심을 모으고 있다 IR 시스템은 1(nsec) 이하의 매우 짧은 펄스폭의 펄스 위치 변조(pulse position modulation)된 가우시안 모노사이클 펄스열을 이용함으로서 매우작은 크기 의수 GHz에 이르는 초광대역 스펙트럼을 가지며 기존의 통신 시스템에 거의 간섭을 미치지 않으면서 사용 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 IR 시스템에 M진 (M-ary) PPM 방식을 적용하는 경우의 성능을 평가하였다. 특시 의사 잡음 부호 발생기와 10진 변환기(decimator)로 구성된 시간 도약 패턴을 사용하여 다원 접속 간섭이 배제되는 부가성 백색 가우시안 잡음 채널 하의 동기식(synchronous) IR 시스템에서, 심벌 수, M, 가우시안 모노사이클 펄스 폭 $\tau$$_{p}$, PPM에서 펄스 간 간격$\delta$, 펄스 반복 횟수 N$_{s}$ 등과 같은 다양한 시스템 파라미터의 조합에 따른 성능 변화를 모의 실험을 통해 확인하였으며, 이러한 결과를 통해 비트 오율, 시스템 복잡도 및 전송율 등의 사양에 따라 적합한 M 진 PPM IR 시스템의 구성 방안에 대한 근거를 제공하였다.

A Study on the Adaptive Control of Spark Timing Using Cylinder Pressure in SI Engine (전기점화기관에서 실린더압력을 이용한 점화시기 적응제어에 관한 연구)

  • The spark timing is one of major parameters to the engine performance and emissions. The ECU controls the spark timing based on preset values, which are functions of load and speed, in most of today's automotive SI engine. In this system, the preset spark timing can be different from optimum value due to the deviations from mass production, aging effects and so on. In the present study, a control logic is investigated for real time adaptation of spark timing to optimal value. It has been found that crank angle of miximum cylinder pressure is one of the appropriate parameters to estimate the optimum spark timing throught experiment. It has also been observed for spark timing convergence by variation of engineering model factors. The simulation program including engineering model for cycle by cycle variation of combustion is developed for surveying spark timing control logic. It is also shown that simulation results reflect experiment outputs and reasonableness of spark timing control logic for crank angle of maximum cylinder pressure.

Reliability evaluation of 1608 chip joint using Sn8Zn3Bi solder under thermal shock (Sn8Zn3Bi 솔더를 이용한 1608 칩 솔더링부의 열충격 신뢰성 평가)

  • Sn-8wt%Zn-3wt%Bi (이하, Sn-8Zn-3Bi) 솔더의 장기 신뢰성을 평가하기 위하여 열 충격 시험을 행하였다. 열 충격 시험은 $-40^{\circ}C$에서 $80^{\circ}C$범위에서 1000 사이클 동안 하였다. 접합 기판으로는 각각 OSP(Organic Solderability Preservative), Sn 그리고 Ni/Au 처리를 한 PCB(Printed Circuit Board) 패드를 사용하였다. 접합에 사용한 부품은 1608 Chip(Multi Layer Chip Capacitor, Chip Resistor) 으로 전극 부위에 Sn-37wt%Pb, Sn 도금하여 사용하였다. 솔더링 후 1608 Chip의 전단 강도와 솔더링부에서 미세조직 및 IMC(Inter Metallic Compound) 변화를 관찰하였다. 측정결과, Sn-8Zn-3Bi 솔더의 초기 전단 강도는 기판의 표면처리에 상관없이 약 40N 이상이었다. 그리고 열충격 시험 1000 사이클 후에는 모든 기판에서 2N 정도 약간의 강도 저하를 보였다.

  • Recently, there has been growing interest in the oxyfuel combustion cycle since it enables high-purity $CO_2 capture with high$ efficiency. However, the oxyfuel combustion cycle has some important issues regarding to its performance such as the requirement of water recirculation to decrease a turbine inlet temperature and proper combustion to enhance cycle efficiency. Also, Some of water vapour remain not condensed at condenser outlet because cycle working fluid contains non-condensable gas, i.e., $CO_2$. The purpose of the present study is to analyze performance characteristics of the oxyfuel combustion cycle with different turbine inlet temperatures, combustion pressures and condenser pressure. It is expected that increasing the turbine inlet temperature improves cycle efficiency, on the other hand, the combustion pressure has specific value to display highest cycle efficiency. And increasing condensing pressure improves water vapour condensing rate.

  • This article analyzes the direction of 'business-Friendly' record management in electronic records environment which means paradigm shift in record management. In the first place, this article investigates the interrelationship of business, records and record management through natures of electronic records, and analyzes direction of purposes and roles of record management in electronic records environment. After all, this article rebuilds a significance and roles of record management in active stage, and provides theoretical bases for close relation between record management and information management in electronic records environment.

  • 현재 온실 난방에 주로 이용되고 있는 난방기는 대부분이 화석에너지를 연료로 사용하고 있다. 따라서 생산비의 가중이 불가피하며, 또한 연소 과정에서 발생하는 배기 가스로 인하여 환경 오염이 문제시되고 있다. 따라서 태양에너지를 보다 더 적극적으로 활용할 수 있는 기술의 개발이 요구된다. 태양에너지를 시설 농업에 적극적으로 이용하기 위해서는 주간에 밀도가 낮은 태양에너지를 고밀도로 축열하여 기온이 급강하하는 야간의 보온에 활용하여야 한다. 주간의 온실내 잉여 태양에너지를 축열할수 있는 상변화 온도 3$0^{\circ}C$ 수준의 잠열축열재를 개발하기 위하여 수행한 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. SCD에 Borax를 0.0~5.0wt% 첨가하여 과냉도를 25.$0^{\circ}C$에서 $1.5^{\circ}C$ 이하로 조절하였으며, Borax의 적정 함량은 3.0wt%였다. 2. SCD에 Carbopol을 0.0~3.0wt% 첨가하여 상분리량을 70.0%에서 0.0%로 조절하였으며, Carbopol의 적정 함량은 1.5wt%였다.3. 축열재 내구성 검증을 위하여 0~1,500회의 상변화 사이클을 수행하였다. 이때 상변화 온도의 변화량이 $\pm$1.$0^{\circ}C$ 이하, 잠열량 변화가 $\pm$2.0 kacl/kg 이하로서 안정된 값을 보였다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 축열재의 수명을 10년까지는 보장할 수 있는 것으로 판단되었다.

  • The early stage of 3D anthropometry data has been used to obtain qualitative rather than quantitative information. However recent 3D body scanners as a common research tool for anthropormatric measurments have made it possible to obtain body surface data of sufficient resolution and accuracy. The purpose of this study is finally to develop motorcycle jacket for enhanced comfort and fit, to test the accuracy and reliability of 3D measurments of motorcycle riding posture, and to analyze the change in 20's adult male's body surface measurements between the standard anthropometric position and motorcycle riding posture. The results of this study were as follows: There were no significant differences between the study and Size Korea measurments in total traditional measuring items and most of measuring items, such as length, circumference antropometric items and interscye items though not waist back length and upper arm circumference. A comparison of 3D body surface measurments in the two different measuring postures, the bodysurface measurments such as waist front length, biacromion length, front interscye, arm length, underarm length in the motorcycle riding posture decreased than that in basic posture, whereas waist back length, back interscye, C.T.W length increased. The body surface measurments such as chest, bust, upper circumference in the motorcycle riding posture decreased than that in basic posture, whereas neck, waist, hip, elbow circumference increased.

Effect of Propellant-Supply Pressure on Liquid Rocket Engine Performance (추진제 공급압력이 액체로켓엔진의 성능에 미치는 영향)

  • In this paper, the changes in performance parameters, e.g., the combustor pressure, turbine power, engine mixture ratio, temperature of gas generator, and product gas, of a liquid rocket engine employing gas generator cycle with the variations in propellant-supply pressure have been described. Engine performance is numerically calculated using the 13 major system-level variables of the rocket engine. The combustor pressure and turbine power increase with an increase in the oxidizer-supply pressure and decrease with an increase in fuel-supply pressure. The lower mixture ratio of gas generator for increased fuel mass flow rate decreases the gas generator gas temperature and deteriorates the gas material properties as the turbine working fluid. The turbine power decreases with an increase in fuel-supply pressure; this results in a decrease in the main-combustor pressure, which is directly proportional to engine thrust.

Reliability of Sn-8Zn-3Bi Solder Paste Applied to Lead and Lead-free Plating on Lead-frame under Thermal Shock Test (다양한 유무연 도금 리드프레임에 적용된 Sn-8Zn-3Bi 솔더 접합부의 열충격 신뢰성 평가)

  • The pull strength and fracture mechanism were investigated to evaluate the reliability and compatibility of Sn-8Zn-3Bi joints, the solder paste on lead and lead-free plating under thermal shock conditions. At the Sn-8Zn-3Bi solder joint, no crack initiation was observed during thermal shock test. After 1000 cycles, the strength of the solder joint decreased not sharply but reduced gradually compared with initial conditions. The decrement of strength was affected by ${\gamma}-Cu_5Zn_8$ IMC growth which caused the IMC fracture on the fracture surface and a change in fracture mode and initial crack point. Clearly, the Sn-8Zn-3Bi solder shows good reliability properties and compatibility with lead-free plated Cu LF under thermal shock temperatures between 248K and 423K.

  • Heating pipes, which are among the main equipment in district heating systems, can be classified into supply and return pipes. Because when the district heating transmission pipe, which is charged with district heating in small to medium-size cities, is under thermal stress during temperature variances in heating water, it suffers from the fatigue phenomenon caused by the thermal stress, according to the number of its service years. District heatingpipes have shown various characteristics according to the operating condition of the service connections, and the irregular temperature variance has had a bad influence on fatigue heating pipes. Therefore, in this study, a field test on laid heating pipes was performed, and the data for each region were analyzed. Also, the fatigue safety of district heating pipes was evaluated via cycle-based evaluation and stress-based evaluation.
