  • With about 600 officially licensed food additives now living in modern people's lives, consumers' interest in the additives, food safety and harmfulness in food products is also increasing, and mobile services for consumers who want to properly recognize and purchase the safety of food they want to consume are being implemented at home and abroad. In this study, six major applications that provide food safety information were analyzed for functions and designs, evaluated by design experts and evaluated for usability to actual users. Through the function and design analysis results, three similar domestic applications were selected, and the design experts were evaluated for UI and usability, and two of the most similar applications were selected for usability testing. The test results showed that the two applications were similar in usability, but considering the overall results, it was found that the strictest available food safety application. After this study, we propose improvements in the design of food safety applications and existing designs and functions to help improve the convenience of food application developers and users, and thus to ensure the safe and correct eating habits of the people.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the behavior intention of smartphone mobile banking service among tourists. Currently, due to the development of mobile Internet technology and the spread of smartphone all over the world, interest and spread of smart phone based mobile banking is popularized. Thus, we analyzed the relationship among performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived financial cost, perceived habit, perceived security level, and user's behavioral intention as a dependent variable. In this study, 203 respondents were interviewed about Chinese tourists at Jeju International Airport, and the influence of independent variables was determined by Smartpls 3.0. The results showed that the perceived security level and habit had a positive effect on the behavior intention. Especially, perceived security is a major issue of smartphone-based mobile banking in recent years. This study is meaningful in that it is an analysis of behavior factors of smartphone-based mobile banking service for tourists.

  • Block chains began by recognizing the danger of centralized control of financial systems after the 2008 financial crisis. From the beginning of 2008, blockchain has been developing a lot of attention and technology, starting with a tremendous innovation called cryptographic destruction based on technology, a block chain called Bitcoin. However, the vulnerability has also been discovered over time and the damage has been repeated. But in the fourth industry of the 21st century, many advances and technologies based on them are expected to emerge. Therefore, this paper proposes new analytical transaction protocols for vulnerabilities in cryptographic currency transactions. The proposed transaction protocol is a way to authenticate once again at the end of the transaction and the transaction is concluded with this authentication. It presents countermeasures by adding security elements between users to the transaction process rather than internal security to transaction vulnerabilities.

  • Recently, the mobile social networks, which consider both social relationship between users and mobile communication networks, have been received great attention. In this paper, we consider the trust degree of node as the social relationship for the cooperative communication networks. In contrast to the existing works that consider the case of the perfect trust degree information, for the case that transmitter has an imperfect trust degree information, we propose an imperfect trust degree based cooperative communication technique that maximizes a throughput. We first model the imperfect trust degree information as a probability distribution and derive the outage probability using the probability distribution. Then, we propose the transmission scheme that maximizes the throughput, which consider both outage probability and transmission rate. The simulation results show that the proposed cooperative transmission scheme outperforms the conventional scheme in terms of the throughput.

  • The recent occurrence of consecutive large earthquakes in the southeastern part of the Korean peninsula has brought significant attention to the prevention of earthquake damage in Korea. This article aims to explore a technology-based approach for earthquake drills using state-of-the-art visual intelligence and virtual reality technologies. The technical process consists of several stages, including acquisition of image information in living spaces using a camera, recognition of objects from the acquired image information, extraction of three dimensional geometric information, simulation of virtual earthquakes using dynamic modelling techniques such as the discrete element method, and realization of the simulated earthquake in a virtual reality environment. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the individual processes at each stage of the technical process, a survey on the current status of related technologies, and discussion of the technical challenges in its execution.

  • The main channels of the financial industry are rapidly changing to mobile. In this environment, banks are focusing on information and communication technology to secure their competitiveness, and rapid innovation is being pursued especially in the payment settlement sector. In October 2019, Korea also introduced open banking services to accelerate the financial innovation, such as the open conversion of financial settlement networks and the expansion of the use of simple payments. In this paper, an empirical study was conducted on the effect of domestic open banking quality factors on usage intention. The service quality factors for open banking were classified into interface design, innovation, security, and data sharing, and the technology acceptance model (TAM) was used to verify whether it has a significant effect on perceived convenience, usefulness and intention to use. According to the analysis results, while innovation and security did not have a significant effect on convenience and usefulness, interface design and data sharing were found to have an effect on perceived convenience. The results would provide implications for some quality issues for companies seeking to introduce open banking services as well as for the related academic arena.

  • BLDC motors are getting better performance due to the improvement of material technology including high performance of permanent magnets, advancement of driving IC technology with high integration and high functionality, and improvement of assembly technology such as high point ratio. While having the advantage of such a square wave driven BLDC motor, interest in the design and development of a square wave driven BLDC permanent magnet motor and development of a position detection circuit and driver is increasing in order to more meet the needs of users. However, in spite of the cost and functional advantages due to reduced efficiency, switching loss and vibration, noise, etc., the application is somewhat limited. Therefore, in this paper, we study a position detection circuit that generates a sinusoidal signal in proportion to the magnetic flux of a BLDC motor rotor using a Hall Effect Sensor that generates a sinusoidal wave to increase the efficiency of the motor, reduce ripple, and drive a sinusoidal current with excellent speed and torque characteristics.

  • With widespread use of information technologies, information privacy issues have been gaining more attention by not only the public but also researchers. The number of studies on the issues has been increasing exponentially, which makes incomprehensible the whole picture of research outcome. Thus, it is necessary to conduct a systematic examination of past research. This study developed two competing models with four essential constructs in information privacy research and empirically tested the models with data obtained from previous studies. This study employed a quantitative meta-analysis method called TSSEM. It is one of MASEM methods in which structural equation modeling and meta-analysis are integrated. The analysis results indicated that risk-centric model exhibited much better model fits than those of concern-centric model. This study implies that traditional concern-centric model should be questioned it's explanatory power of the model and researchers may consider alternative risk-centric model to explain user's intention to provide privacy information.

  • Depending on the size and complexity of the game, interest in game quality control is increasing. The quality of the game can be evaluated through fun and stability tests, and the player's satisfaction varies greatly accordingly. For the quality control of the game, Fun QA is in charge of testing to increase the fun and give satisfaction to the players. In this study, we first looked at software quality improvement techniques and game QA work. And in order to improve game quality, we analyzed Fun QA, which is relatively unstructured compared to Technical QA, which is mainly responsible for stability testing. Based on this, the Fun QA process was proposed and an example of Fun QA design was presented using real games. It is expected that this study will be one of the pillars of the game quality management area pursuing quality improvement by guaranteeing fun. Furthermore, it is expected to help QA workers expand their work area.
