Based on the successful use of chatbot technology, this study examined what business values each company is creating. The chatbot service contributes to improving the productivity of the company by helping to answer or respond to the questions of employees inside the company or customers. And in the field of education, Instead of instructor, AI technology responds the questions and feedback of the students to reduce the work of the instructor. In the field of commerce, offline stores provide convenient and new purchasing experiences to customers by providing product purchasing services through artificial intelligence speakers and personalization service. Although chatbot service is creating business value in some business cases, it is still limited to the process of a specific company, and the spread rate is still slowing because the service scope, convenience, and usefulness are not greater than expected. Therefore, some chatbot development service providers is providing an integrated development platform to improve usability, Chatbots have the features and advantages of providing convenience instead of answering human questions. However, there is a disadvantage that the level of communication can be lowered by reducing various human subjective views and giving mainly objective answers. Through this study, we will discuss the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of chatbot services by comparing them.
Collaborative systems allow users, who may be far removed from each other geographically, to do collaborative work such as 3D animation, computer game, and industrial design in a single virtual space. This paper describes our experience to develop a collaborative system framework that aims at expanding the some functions of a stand-alone visual modeling tool, called 3D Studio Max, into those of the distributed collaborative working environments. The paper mainly deals with design and implementation of a 3D shared-object Plug-In with respect to the 3D Studio Max Plug-In Software Development Kit in the distributed collaborative system developed by the authors. There are two major functions of the proposed scheme; one is to write 3D object-information to the shared memory after extracting it from the 3D Studio Max, the other is to create 3D objects after retrieving them from the shared memory. Also, the proposed scheme provides a simple way of storing 3D objects that have variable size, by means of shared memory which located in between the collaborative system clients and 3D studio Max. One of the remarkable virtures of the Plug-In is to reduce a considerable amount of shared object data which in consequence can mitigate the network overhead. This can be achieved by the fact that the system is able to extract a minimum amount of 3D objects that are required to transmit. Also, using the proposed scheme, user can facilitate 3D Studio Max into distributed collaborative working environments. This, in consequence give many benefits such as saving time as well as eliminating space constraints in the course of 3D modeling when we are under industrial design process.

In this paper, we propose ways how portal site POI(Point-of-Interest) contents by analyzing the effect of portal site POI contents attributes on favorability, satisfaction, and visit intention, and to propose a strategic marketing plan using portal site POI contents in restaurants. In this study, a survey was conducted on 300 people who had experience using portal site POI contents. Through prior research, the portal site POI contents attributes were classified into accuracy, authority, aesthetics, and currency. To verify the research hypothesis, single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted to confirm the relationship between variables. To summarize the core research results, first, the portal site POI contents attribute showed a positive relationship with favorability. Second, it was found that the portal site POI contents attribute had a positive relationship with satisfaction. Third, it was found that favorability had an effect on satisfaction. Fourth, it was found that favorability had an effect on the visit intention. Fifth, satisfaction was found to have an effect on the visit intention. Based on the analysis results, in order to induce customer visits in restaurants, it is necessary to make good use of portal site POI contents to increase user favorability and to allow users to visit stores.
Although the relationship between social networking sites (SNS) use and performance has been widely studied, most of these studies have focused on comparing the SNS users' overall performance with that of non-SNS users instead of examining how using SNS midway of a task affects one's task performance. To address this research gap, an experiment was conducted to examine SNS use during a task and its influence on the performance of that task. In this experiment, the role of SNS in various situations was examined by reviewing the literature on break and performance as well as the types of breaks and tasks. Owing to its exploratory nature, this study used various types of data, such as electroencephalography interpretation data generated from a brain-computer interface, self-reported data, and data recorded by a computer. Those participants who used SNS showed an improved performance compared with those who took a short break while doing a simple task. Further analysis showed that the degree of SNS usage and engagement with SNS had positive effects on the participants' simple task performance, while social presence and reassurance of self-worth had negative and positive effects on the participants' complex task performance, respectively.
An investigation by KRNIC (Korea Network Information Center) on the real state of usage of internet has shown that 96.9% of children investigated had experiences of using internet. Especially the firstly ranked item that had been answered by children as a necessity of internet was 'Studying to solve tasks' rated by 83.9%. As seen from the research result, the need as a homework sonics is actually so dominant that it cannot be ignored when considering the profitability at the area of education contents, but any profound research has not been accomplished yet. Internet has been positioned as a more effective and fruitful learning tool, and also all activities done by users for exploring informations and choosing learning items under the on-line circumstances are based on the successive mutual reactions between users and computers. Up to now much of the web based learning circumstances has been introducing the User Interface using metaphor, and the same is found dominantly from the sites for children. But in spite of the availability of metaphor mentioned above the current status is much lack of profound researches about metaphor interface; and what is more, in the case of the site for elementary school students the gap of the ability recognizing metaphor is very large between lower classes and higher classes according to the degree of mental growth but that is used to be simply ignored, then a common concept is adapted to interface for all grades of classes and moreover for infant and kindergarten without any objections. Based on foregoing problems this research has put the main focus on the groping and presenting desirable directions on the prospect design of interface for children-oriented sites by analyzing the status of practical usage of metaphor interface in the field of the sites for children-oriented learning sites with concentration upon homework supporting domains.
This study originates from the following critical mind; what will the office of the future be like? and what technology will we rely upon most to communicate with colleagues or to access business information. In the office environment today, new technology has compelled new work paradigm and has greatly affected the capabilities of the individual to work in a more productive and efficient manner. However, even though new computer technology has changed the business world so rapidly, it is very difficult to see the changes that have been taken place. As an aim of the study, creating a mobile tool for office workers that successfully supports their work and communication was explored, and this study explored future work environment with a 5 years technological and social perspective. As a result of this study, the bON brings new visions to the mobile professionals via various interfaces. The bON, a mobile device, is both a system of work and of communication for office workers. The bON, as an integrated tool for working and communicating, forms the basis for a mobile information gateway that is equally capable of functioning as a mobile desk. The basic underlying idea is that all formal meeting places and hallways in the office are equipped with large wall-mounted screens. The bON collaborates with these media in various ways to enhance productivity and efficiency. The main challenge for the bON to enhance both mobility and quality of information is using new technology including bendable and flexible display and soft material display and sensors. To answer for the strong needs for mobility, the whole size of the device is fairly small while the screen is rolled inside the device. For Graphical User Interface, moreover, a new technique called Multi-layering Interface was adopted to stretch user's visual limits and suggests new direction in designing mobile device, equipped with small size display.

Cloud computing is a computing paradigm in which users can utilize computing resources in a pay-as-you-go manner. In a cloud system, resources can be dynamically scaled up and down to the user's on-demand so that the total cost of ownership can be reduced. The Modeling and Simulation (M&S) technology is a renowned simulation-based method to obtain engineering analysis and results through CAE software without actual experimental action. In general, M&S technology is utilized in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Multibody dynamics (MBD), and optimization fields. The work procedure through M&S is divided into pre-processing, analysis, and post-processing steps. The pre/post-processing are GPU-intensive job that consists of 3D modeling jobs via CAE software, whereas analysis is CPU or GPU intensive. Because a general-purpose desktop needs plenty of time to analyze complicated 3D models, CAE software requires a high-end CPU and GPU-based workstation that can work fluently. In other words, for executing M&S, it is absolutely required to utilize high-performance computing resources. To mitigate the cost issue from equipping such tremendous computing resources, we propose HEMOS-Cloud service, an integrated cloud and cluster computing environment. The HEMOS-Cloud service provides CAE software and computing resources to users who want to experience M&S in business sectors or academics. In this paper, the economic ripple effect of HEMOS-Cloud service was analyzed by using industry-related analysis. The estimated results of using the experts-guided coefficients are the production inducement effect of KRW 7.4 billion, the value-added effect of KRW 4.1 billion, and the employment-inducing effect of 50 persons per KRW 1 billion.
Conventional exhibition management information systems recommend tourist attractions that are close to the place in which an exhibition is held. Some recommended attractions by the location-based recommendation could be meaningless when nothing is related to the exhibition's topic. Our goal is to recommend attractions that are related to the content presented in the exhibition, which can be coined as content-based recommendation. Even though human exhibition curators can do this, the quality is limited to their manual task and knowledge. We propose an automatic way of discovering attractions relevant to an exhibition of interests. Language resources are incorporated to discover attractions that are more meaningful. Because a typical single machine is unable to deal with such large-scale language resources efficiently, we implemented the algorithm on top of Apache Spark, which is a well-known distributed computing framework. As a user interface prototype, a web-based system is implemented that provides users with a list of relevant attractions when users are browsing exhibition information, available at http://bike.snu.ac.kr/WARP. We carried out a case study based on Korean Tourism Organization Linked Open Data with Korean Wikipedia as a language resource. Experimental results are demonstrated to show the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed system. The effectiveness was evaluated against well-known exhibitions. It is expected that the proposed approach will contribute to the development of both exhibition and tourist industries by motivating exhibition visitors to become active tourists.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative assessment on the satisfaction level for the two interfaces of surgical guide system (SimPlant and R2GATE), the design and convenience of manufactured surgical guides and the importance of using the surgical guides thereof by means of survey. Materials and Methods: Hereupon, they simulated the implant surgical process by mounting the two manufactured systems of surgical guide on a dental mold, respectively. The study subjects were instructed to complete the questionnaire as to the satisfaction level upon completion of the simulated surgery. This study summarized the data of each question after collecting the completed questionnaires. Then, this study analyzed the summarized data by utilizing statistical program SPSS 20.0 (IBM). Results: R2GATE had a higher value of the satisfaction level on the design and convenience of manufactures surgical guides. R2GATE group ($7.33{\pm}1.26$) was found to have a higher value in terms of the overall satisfaction level compared to SimPlant group ($6.67{\pm}1.26$) (${\alpha}$ = 0.05). Conclusion: The user satisfaction level on the surgical guide manufactured for R2GATE system was to such an extent as it can be widely used in clinical environment. Moreover, the surgical guide manufactured as R2GATE system can guide both the length and direction of a drill simultaneously. As a result, it is highly recommended for those beginners who do not have a lot of experience in implant placement.

The development of wireless communication systems has resulted in the availability of several access technologies at any geographic area, such as 3G networks, wireless local area networks (WLANs) and wireless broadband networks. The development of these technologies is provided for users who have experienced mobile network environments which are slow or fast-movement environment and change distance between the AP(Access Point). This paper describes network performance issues in various environmental changes. Also, Fuzzy logic is applied to evaluate the performance in vehicle networks around users' environmental factors to focusing on the minimizing of transfer time and costs. First, WLAN and 3G networks fixed distance between AP, Second, WLAN and 3G networks random distance between APs, finally above two environmental with vehicle Ad hoc networks is analyzed. These V2I and V2V environmental condition are assumed. Results which based on Fuzzy logic suggest an optimal performance in vehicle network environments according to vehicle speed and distance between APs. Proposed algorithm shows 21% and 13% improvement of networks performance in V2I and V2V environment.
