A Study on the Prediction Model of the Warship Construction Period through Statistical Analysis (통계적 분석기법을 통한 함정 건조기간 예측모델에 관한 연구)

  • For the Navy to acquire the desired vessels in time, it is necessary to plan the schedule accurately for warships. On the other hand, until now, there has been only a subjective prediction of the period of warship construction through a survey by a group of experts. No academic studies have been conducted based on actual data. Therefore, this study presents a model for predicting the construction period of a warship through linear regression based on actual data. Experts first identified the factors that can affect the warship construction period. Actual data of the factors were collected, and regression analysis was performed to estimate the ship construction period. As a result, the key factors selected that influence the construction period of a ship were the number of operational test items, number and type of equipment, and the number and type of R&D equipment. The resulting regression model revealed 96.5% accuracy in terms of internal validity.

Scale Development of Family Strength for Single-Parent Families (한부모가족 건강성 지표 개발 연구)

  • This study aimed to develop a scale to measure the family strength of single-parent families. We analyzed the everyday life and demands of single-parent families using the theory of family strength to draw 78 items that encompass family basis, relationships, roles, social networks and family culture. Using a sample of 286 single-parent families through an online survey platform, we examined the factor structure of the items and selected 48 items based on the results of the factor analysis. Reliability, criterion and construct validity were also examined. The final scale comprised of five domains ; basis, parents' role, work-life balance, social network, lifestyle and household management. This scale can be used as an assessment measure of the family strength of single-parent families for consulting, case management and suggesting various programs in the field. This merit will help enhance the quality of programing for single-parent families at the Healthy Family Support Center and the development of family strength scales for various types of families.

  • An artificila fish-reef is a artificail structure installed at marine ranching under the littoral sea. The artificial fish-reefs provide the function of fish spawning ground, habitation, nursery ground, and enhance the productivity of fising industry devastated by environmental pollution. After the installation of artificila fish-reef, continuous monitoring is demanded to check the validity of artificila fish-reef plan. However, the support of follow-up management is impossible because of the lack of a huge budget and professional manpower. Therefore, the artificial fish-reef combined with IT devices can be controled IT devices through the IT artificial fish-reef management system, and collect the marine environment information for the fair management. This paper shows the example of systematization for the management of artificial fish-reef based on the marine rancing management system.

A Study on a Conceptual Model for Technology Valuation Based on Market Approach (시장접근법 기반의 기술가치평가를 위한 개념적 모형에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to present a conceptual model for technology valuation based on market approach. We first propose a transition model in which technology itself is endowed with its intrinsic value based on its technology- and market-specific features, which subsequently goes through a transition to the market perceived value. We also discuss the model's logical validity. Based upon the transition model, we develop market approach based technology valuation models by identifying factors comprising each component of the transition model for each case of fixed royalty and running royalty. We also show that the proposed model can be used to describe the relationship between cost, income and market approaches for technology valuation.

A Study on Standard Construction Process Management System for Prediction of Proper Construction Period of Subsea Tunnel (해저터널 적정 공사기간 예측을 위한 표준공정관리 체계 연구)

  • As a typical domestic subsea tunnel construction the Gadeok subsea tunnel applying the method of immersed tunnel has been completed and the Boryeong-Taean subsea tunnel is under construction using NATM. The high-speed railway subsea tunnels between the Honam and Jeju are under consideration, and the feasibility of constructing subsea tunnels with Japan and China is also under consideration. However, it is difficult to provide the process plan information for the construction work such as the analysis of the feasibility of the subsea tunnel and the prediction of the proper construction period because there is no case of domestic construction for it applying the shield TBM method. Due to economic and other reasons, government organizations are reluctant to apply the shield TBM, and there is lack of data on the construction process management field using the shield TBM method. Therefore, a standard construction process management system for the subsea tunnel is needed to analyze the feasibility of the subsea tunnel and to predict the proper construction period. By presenting the standard construction process management system of subsea tunnels such as WBS, Network Diagram, and construction period calculation model, I hope to contribute technically and economically to future subsea tunnel projects.

  • Climate changes caused by fossil fuel energy usages have led to serious environmental damages and resource scarcity. Ever-increasing demand for energy causes harsh competition in international energy markets. Nuclear power, which once was regarded as a desirable clean energy, began to face public oppositions after the Japanese nuclear disaster in 2011. In this context, wind power is now considered to be an ever-more important recyclable energy source. Thus, this study intended to identify critical success factors for wind power construction projects. After a thorough literature review, two focus group interview sessions were conducted. A questionnaire-based survey, coupled with the two previous methods, resulted in the extraction of important factors for the success of wind power projects. Experts, including those working as constructors, designers, and owners, were paid a direct visit for the interview and survey. The critical success factors were categorized into feasibility study, right policies, equipment selection, and project financing issues. The proposed critical success factors are expected to be an effective guideline for future investors in wind powers.

  • The VE/LCC study on the existing multi-utility tunnel examined the economical feasibility of the collective area through the cost-benefit analysis of the ten major routes of Seoul for the benefit (7 items) and the cost (5 items) through quantitative methods. In this paper, we analyzed the economic efficiency of 61 sectors by adding 3 items (reduced traffic accident, reduced vehicle noise, social-economic loss). The reduced traffic accident item is an improvement of the traffic accident cost that can be saved by the implementation of the project, and the reduced vehicle noise item is an indicator of the amount of noise change caused by the implement of the business. Finally, the social-economic loss items represent the impact on the local economy due to the construction of the multi-utility tunnel. The amounts of the additional items were compared and items added in the open type and tunnel type multi-utility tunnel were analyzed for each analysis. Result on the analysis, it analyzed the items applied to the basic and detail models in the economic evaluation of the multi-utility tunnel design, and makes it possible to evaluate the economic efficiency more efficiently. The economic evaluation of the basic and detailed models including the items presented in this study will be often used in the design of the multi-utility tunnel design.

  • 모바일 RFID 는 ‘모바일’과 'RFID’ 특징의 결합이라는 강력한 장점을 가지고 있어서 사용자 정보에 대한 파악과 사용자의 위치 및 상황에 따른 광고에 다양하게 활용될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에는 태그 매치 광고를 중심으로 한 모바일 RFID 광고 비즈니스 모델을 설계한다. 이를 위해 모바일 RFID 서비스의 특징 및 서비스 유형을 분류하는 것에서부터 연구를 시작하여, 모바일 RFID 광고의 정의 및 유형을 분류한다. 이후 모바일 RFID를 활용한 태그 매치 광고를 중심으로 시나리오를 제시하고, 비즈니스 모델의 프로세스 분석 및 각 사업 참여자들의 역할 및 제공가치와 인센티브를 고찰한다. 본 비즈니스 모델의 타당성을 논증하기 위해 태그 매치 광고와 유사성이 있는 온라인 광고 모델 및 모바일 광고에 대하여 검토한다.

A Plan for Improvement of Usability in Extreme Programming (극한 프로그래밍의 사용성 향상 방안)

  • Extreme programming is the most representative methodology among agile software development methodologies that is agile in business environment which change fast. As software industry is matured, usability of software quality characteristics is emphasized gradually, but effort to obtain usability in extreme programming is insufficient. In this paper, three things lacked in extreme programming are reinforced. First, roles of user interface expert are defined. Second, usability testing method to extreme programming are introduced. Third, development process and products are proposed. The proposed plan is validated by four methods, which analyze supporting software development life cycle, analyze satisfaction of CMM key process areas, analyze satisfaction of CMM practices, and analyze development of green tea shopping mail. Green tea shopping mall is improved 23% in the estimated running time, 21% in the learnability. Also, usability is improved 18% in the heuristic evaluation and 16% in the questionnaire method.

Value of Freight Travel-Time Savings for Road Investment Evaluation (도로사업의 투자분석을 위한 화물운송시간가치 산정)

  • Most investment evaluations and economic assessments of road transport proposals in Korea omit a valuation of the time spent in transit for loads of freight. These days there were few attempts to estimate value of freight travel-time savings in Korea, but most of them included rail or marine with statewide area so that couldn't obtain unique travel-time savings for road freight transport. This study applied revealed Preference method and associated binominal logit models to estimate the value of travel-time savings in transit from an statewide survey of road freight transport in 1997. Data sets were segmented according to transport areas and business types. The results of this study showed that the value of freight travel-time savings varied wide ranges from 53,449 won per hour in urban transport to 29,397 won per hour in regional transport, that the use of statewide value of freight travel-time savings can drives wrong results into economic assessment, and that the use of adequate value of freight travel-time savings according to assessment area is very important.
