The Value Engineering(VE) well known as a way of Productivity Elevation is already the proven and outstanding management method in Construction Industry the inside and outside of country. The Value Engineering in domestic, revised by the method of the Construction Technique - Enforcement Ordinance ("the Examination of Design Economy") in 2005, is usually applicable to the Construction Work which cost over 10 billon won. But It is true that there is some differences between theory and reality to apply the Value Engineering in domestic. Therefore the differences are blocking process to enlarge and supply the VE in domestic. In this Study, through a case-analysis of the recently accomplished Design Value Engineering, we give a careful consideration to the problem and cause. And we are inclined to contribute to a successful stay of the Design Value Engineering in domestic as offering the solution about those.

With recent growth of population and industry, urban development grows into grand scheme of excavation and construction in urban area. As the development progress advanced, the developments get large and deepen. With a progress of technology development in geotechnical engineering in Korea, most our grand scheme of projects follows great progress. On the other hand, some excavation in construction site caused direct or indirect event that affects the adjacent or surrounding structures by excavation from time to time. This event usually happens around residential and commercial area where underground tunnel, subway station, commercial building, and high-rises excavation site is, could lead great damage on economy as well as personal injury or human casualties. In order to prevent this event, the study has to be done with analysis on various events of excavation and its cause. In this paper, the research has collected the various excavation events and their causes to analyze on each site and event to define emphasis on surrounding environment.

Currently, the quality management, safety management and environment management of domestic construction work does not form a infrastructure for integrated control which have been developed according to the unique characteristics based on respective the law. In other words, the quality manager and safety manager of human resources is set to a legal arrangement personnel, but environment manager of human resources is not. In addition, quality management standard is to perform the work to PDCA(Plan-Do-Check-Action) system which is reflected in all of the requirements of KS A ISO 9001 standard, but safety management plan and hazard harmfulness prevention plan are not properly reflected P(Plan), C(Check) and A(Action) system and focusing on only 4 section Do(D) in KOSHA 18001 standard requirement. Moreover environmental management plan is not even established requirement. Through examining the operation practices of an advanced nation prior to building the integrated control standard for construction work qualify safety.environment, the possibility of applying domestic is reviewed, and then this study is going to research the operation practices of Singapore.

Recently, construction projects have emerged in the form of program management, which is complicated by the large-scale of construction, and requires astronomical construction costs. In particular, projects that absolutely require management at the program level, such as large-scale construction projects, require overall control of the planned schedule and cost as a set of various projects, including infrastructure. But in Korea, there is no specific management standard for delays in construction. In order to avoid the risk of cost increase and project delay in the program-level construction project, it is necessary to apply more systematic management standards to prevent delay and to take a more preemptive response in the construction process. Therefore, in this study, a delay management index (DMI) was developed to successfully carry out large-scale construction projects at the program level and prevent delays in advance. In addition, case studies were conducted for large-scale construction projects, and a delay prevention system was established for program-level construction projects.

The Construction Management for the Asan Baebang Complex Development PF Project is aiming the solution for the needs of specialized organization and management for the construction of the project, as a independent representative managing the whole process of the super high rise and huge volume of complex project. This case shall be counted as a remarkable one in the point of view that the CM was decided to be encountered even in this consortium project made between the private firm and government, and shows that the project can be executed successfully without having its own organization of a huge number of staffs. This study is for the Construction Management applied for the consortium project between the private firm and government and it is my pleasure if this study could be a help to encourage CM for wide applying in the field by reviewing of its necessity and analyzing of its effect and advantage.

Appraisal occurs multiple times in the process of records and archival management. This includes the consideration of the value of records during creation, developing records retention schedule for records creating organizations, and archival appraisal for archival repositories to build their collections. This study attempts to understand the function of appraisal from a holistic perspective from records creation to archival preservation. In doing so, it investigates the case of New York State Archives and understands some of notable approaches how archivists cooperate with records creators and records managers to preserve New York's historical records. Learning from the case of New York State Archives, this study intends to emphasize the roles and responsibilities that archivists can play in appraisal in various steps.

In rapidly changing educational technology and trends, services providing educational digital contents have been focused on offering new contents customized on the state-of-the-art technology and trends, rather than re-evaluating or eliminating the contents on service based on the changed topics and video quality. This study explores domestic cases about educational digital contents in order to draw implications on proper life-cycle models and effective re-evaluation periods for the quality assurance of the contents. To achieve this objective, representative services in primary-secondary, higher, and lifelong education sectors were selected, and experts in the services were participated in focused group interview. Based on the interview results, the re-evaluation process and life-cycle issues in the management of contents were analyzed according to the educational levels and the implications on the life-cycle models were drawn. This study contributes to establishing a basis for the systematic life-cycle policy of the services in order to make more sustainable management of the digital contents.

최근 기업의 비즈니스 가치 증대를 위해 IT의 전략적 활용과 정보시스템과 비즈니스 프로세스간의 연계와 통합에 대해 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 이에 따라 다양한 IT 서비스와 자신들을 효과적으로 관리하기 위한 IT 거버넌스 개념 재정립의 필요한 시점이나, 학계와 산업계의 높은 관심에 비해 국내 기업의 실증적인 사례연구가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 사례 연구를 통해 IT 거버넌스와 관련하여 현재 기업에서 수행 중인 의사결정 체계와 활동, 유형 및 결정 요인 등을 살펴봄으로써 IT 거버넌스 구축의 현주소 및 향후 활성화 요인을 제시하고자 한다. 비교 분석을 위해, 동일 산업군에서 매출액 규모가 유사하고 IT 투자율이 높은 국내 대기업 2개 업체를 선정하였으며, Structure, Process, Relational Mechanism 관점에서 관련업체의 IT 부서 주요 관계자들과의 인터뷰와 여러 내부 자료들을 활용하여 심층적인 사례 분석을 수행하였다. 'A'사와 'B'사의 IT 거버넌스 사례 분석을 통해 의사결정 메커니즘과 요인을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 보편적인 적용이 가능한 의사결정 영역별 특성 및 구성요소를 구체적으로 제시함으로써, 향후 기업의 환경에 맞는 IT 거버넌스 체계 구축 및 Reference로서 활용을 기대한다.

본 논문에서는 학회사이트의 중요 정보들을 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 구축된 지능형 학회 관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현사례를 제시한다. 시스템 운영을 지원 하기위해 회원정보, 기업정보, 논문분야 정보 틴 논문 정보 등의 데이터를 기반으로 데이터마이닝을 수행했으며 데이터마이닝 과정에서 나타난 여러 유용한 규칙들을 제시했다. 분석된 정보를 이용해 회원 위주의 학회 사이트 운영정책과 동적 인터페이스를 제공하기 위한 웹사이트의 개인화 계획을 제시하였다.

그리드 및 P2P 컴퓨팅 시스템과 같이 이종 시스템으로 연결된 환경을 관리하기 위해서 사용되는 미들웨어 및 운영체제의 복잡도의 증가로 인해 시스템 관리 비용이 증가하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 시스템 관리 비용을 최소화할 수 있는 시스템 구조적 접근 방식을 채택한다. 이질 컴퓨팅 환경을 통합하기 위해 XML 기반 기술을 사용하여 사람의 개입을 최소화할 수 있는 방법에 대해 제안하며, 적용 사례를 통해 제안된 구조와 기법에 대한 검증을 수행한다.
