  • 재료의 열확산계수를 비접촉적인 방법으로 구하기 위하여 광열편향법에 대한 3차원 모델을 해석하였다. 이 방법은 가열빔이 재료에 광학적으로 흡수될 때 검사빔의 초기궤적이 시편과 시편주의 매질의 온도상승으로 인하여 나타나는 굴절지수의 구배에 의하여 검사빔이 편향되는 원리를 이용하는 것이다. 기존의 연구에서는 주로 가열빔과 검사빔의 상대거리를 변화시키면서 편향의 위상각을 측정하여 열확산계수를 결정하였다. 하지만 본 연구에서는 고정된 상대거리에서 가열빔의 변조주파수를 변화시키면서 편향의 위상각을 계산하여 열확산계수를 구할 수 있는 관계식을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 열확산계수 결정 방법은 다른 방법에 비하여 실험과 해석이 간단하고 비교적 측정하기가 어려운 상대거리에 영향을 받지 않는 방법이다.

Input Signal Model Analysis for Adaptive Beamformer (적응 빔형성기의 입력신호 모델 분석)

  • Containing an Angle-of-Arrival(: AOA) estimation and interference suppression techniques, an adaptive beamformer is one of core techniques for the Signal Intelligence(: SIGINT) which collect various intelligence utilizing cutting edge devices including the radar and satellite. It generates a beam with the directivity in a corresponding direction, to efficiently receive a signal from the specific direction, using antenna array. In this paper, we present the received signal model including interference signals and noise, which can be applied to an input of the signal intelligence satellite system equipped with the AOA estimation and the interference cancellation techniques, and analysis the characteristics of various signals, which can be included in the proposed received signal model. This proposed signal model can be directly applied to the performance evaluation for a variety of beamforming techniques. Also, we verify the spectrum characteristic of the presented received signal model in the frequency domain through computer simulation examples.

Evaluation of Running Performance of the Composite Bogie under Different Side Beam Stiffness (사이드 빔 강성에 따른 복합소재 대차의 주행성능 평가)

  • In this study, a running performance evaluation and roller rig test was conducted to evaluate the applicability of a composite bogie frame, which has the role of the primary suspension. The composite bogie frame was made of a GEP224 glass/epoxy prepreg. Vehicle dynamic analysis was carried out on the composite bogie with three different kinds of side beam thicknesses (50 mm, 80 mm, and 150 mm). From the results, the composite bogie with a side beam thickness of 80 mm satisfied all the dynamic design requirements. Although the composite bogie with the side beam thickness of 50mm also met the design requirements, its critical speed was just a 2% margin to the requirement. In contrast, the model of the side beam thickness of 150mm did not meet the ride comfort. In addition, a composite bogie frame with the side beam thickness of 80 mm was fabricated and installed on a complete bogie. Moreover, the roller rig test using the fully equipped bogie was performed to evaluate the critical speed. During the test, the lateral excitation was imposed on the wheelsets to realize the rail irregularity. There was no divergence of the lateral displacement of the wheelsets while increasing the speed. The measured critical speed was similar to the predicted result.

방사선 수술시 자동적인 선량분포의 최적화를 위한 예비 연구

  • 목적 : 방사선 수술의 목적은 병소에 최대한의 방사선을 조사하고, 주위의 정상조직에는 가능한 적은 양의 방사선을 조사하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 만족시키기 위해 방사선 수술계획자는 계획시 isocenter의 위치와 개수, 콜리메이터 크기를 변화시켜 가며, 주어진 병소에 맞는 선량분포를 획득해 방사선 수술효과를 최대화시키는 수술계획을 수립한다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 모양의 병소에 대해 자동적으로 isocenter를 위치시켜 수술 계획시 도움이 될 수 있도록 임의의 병소 모델들에 대해 위의 변수들을 변화시켜 가며 얻어지는 선량분포를 비교 분석하였다. 방법 : 본 연구에서는 임의로 정의한 계산 영역내에 다면체를 병소로 가정하여 연구를 수행하였다. 방사선 수술시 하나의 isocenter에서 얻어지는 선량분포는 구형으로 근사할 수 있으므로 하나의 isocenter를 구로 근사하여, 각 병소 모델 내에 콜리메이터 크기를 변화해가며 가능한 많은 영역을 포함하도록 isocenter를 배치시켰다. 이후 구형선량모델을 사용해 선량분포를 획득하여 병소와 정상조직간의 DVH(Dose Volume histogram)와 각 병소 모델에 대한 통일 평면상의 선량분포를 비교 분석하였다. 결과 ; 임의의 다양한 종양 모델에 대한 50%의 등선량 곡선내에서 세 가지의 빔관련 변수들을 변화시킨 결과, 종양이 없는 정상 조직에서는 선량분포가 극히 낮았으며, 콜리메이터의 크기에 따른 isocenter 의 개수가 변화하는 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 이 경우 한 종양모델에서의 깊이에 따른 선량 분포는 크게 차이가 나지 않았다. 그리고, isocenter의 개수가 변화함에 따라 선량곡선이 변하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 : 빔관련 변수인 콜리메이터 크기, isocenter 개수, 거리등은 어느 일정 정도를 넘기면, 병소내 선량 분포에 크게 기여하지 않는다는 점을 감안하여 빔관련 변수들을 최소로 고려하므로써 계획시 소모되는 시간 과 노력을 많이 줄일 수 있을 것이며, 또한 각 병소 모델에 대한 최적의 구형선량모델에서 공통적인 규칙성을 찾는 것과 실제 병소의 모양을 간단한 모양으로 근사화 시킨다면 자동적 선량모델을 이루는데 많은 도움이 되고, 이로 인해 효율적인 치료계획작업이 이루어질 것이라 사료된다.

  • This paper have derived an expression(the fringe modle is used) for the photocurrelation-correlation function for a cross-beam laser velocimeter, taking into account the effects of atmospheric turbulence on the amplitude and phase of the incident beams. the result, as long as the atmospheric disturbances do not greatly damp out sinusoidal variations of the photocurrent-correlation function in the time it takes a particle to travel the fringe-separation distance, the disturbances do not hinder the determination of the velocity of the partides from the correlation funtion.(the scattering particles are assumed to have a well-defined V).

  • Low vibration characteristics of a vehicle are mainly influenced by the local stiffness of the joint structure beam section. The method of substituting equivalent beam element to spring element for the joint is presented. Formation process of the equivalent beam joint modeling is described in terms of key section properties. To get required dynamic characteristics section properties of the equivalent beam element are set to design variables. The study shows that the equivalent beam joint model can be effectively used for low frequency vibration analysis of a vehicle.

  • Codebook-based opportunistic beamforming (COBF) technique provides a beam selection diversity to the conventional opportunistic beamforming. In this paper, we design the random matrix and codebook for the COBF technique based on a kappa-factor channel model. Applying the proposed design to the COBF, nearly optimal beams are generated. Therefore, the COBF shows an outstanding performance without regard to the channel correlation related to the kappa-factor.

  • The parametric array phenomenon refers to the generation of a high directivity low frequency wave from a small size radiation plate using the nonlinearity of the medium. In order to improve the usability of parametric array, the beam steering method of low frequency wave is researched, and the beam steering phenomenon is predicted easily using the PD (product directivity) model. However, the PD model can only be applied to Gaussian sources under quasi-linear conditions. Also, the prediction accuracy of low frequency wave beam width is poor. In this paper, a method for predicting the beam steering characteristics of a parametric array that can overcome the limitation of the PD model is investigated. For this purpose, the numerical analysis algorithm of the KZK (Khokhlov-Zabolotskaya-Kuzentsov) equation widely used for parametric array phenomenon prediction is improved. Thus, the beam steering characteristics are calculated by applying the electrical beam steering condition and comparing experimental results. As a result, the numerical analysis using the modified KZK equation algorithm in this study confirms that the beam steering phenomenon can be predicted even in a parametric array source that does not correspond to the quasi-linear condition.

Development of beam-spring model to analyse the stability of double-deck tunnel (복층터널 안정성 분석을 위한 빔-스프링 모델 개발)

  • In this study, as an initial study for development of stability analysis program of a double-deck tunnel during life cycle, a structural analysis solver based beam-spring model for the double-deck tunnel is constructed. Effect of parameters(slab supporting type, depth of the tunnel and ground elastic modulus) is analyzed with the beam-spring model. The model is also compared and verified by commercial structural analysis program. It is considered that the slab supporting type affects the integrated behavior with segment lining and influence of intermediate slab on the stability of the tunnel decreases as the tunnel depth increases. The relationship between the ground elastic modulus and the effect of the intermediate slab on the segment lining needs further investigation.
