With the development of industry and standard of living, the quantity of groundwater consumption has been increasing. For the analysis of groundwater, to determine the hydraulic parameters of aquifer is very important. Various numerical methods have been developed to solve aquifer tests and eliminate the subjectivity of traditional graphical type curve methods. The slope-matching method, which matches the slope of the Theis type curve to the slope of the field data, can be used to numerically solve pump tests for both leaky and nonleaky aquifers. A FORTRAN program on based slope-matching method was developed to obtain the transmissivity, storage coefficient, and leaky factor from pumping test data automatically. Results derived from published data show that the improved slope-matching method gives parameters close to the ones derived by the slope-matching method.

The feasibility of biodiesel production from soapstock by acid catalyst was tested. The water content of soapstock was more than 40%. Before the esterification of soapstock, the pre-treatment of soapstock was conducted adding potassium hydroxide and sulfuric acid. The pre-treated soapstock contained 99.6wt% of free fatty acid. When the free fatty acid was esterified with methanol, the fatty acid methyl ester content became 91.7wt% under the solid acid catalyst, Amberlyst-15. When this biodiesel was distilled the methyl ester content was 98.1wt% which satisfied the biodiesel Standard. Amberlyst-15 could be recovered easily because it was the soliid catalyst. When sulfuric acid was used as the acid catalyst, the fatty acid methyl ester content was 91.0wt%. From the results, it was possible to produce biodiesel efficiently from soapstock after pre-treatment. Because soapstock is very cheap, it will become good feedstock for biodiesel product ion.

Automatic grease lubricator is an equipment that provides adequate amount of fresh grease constantly to the shaft and bearings of machines. It minimizes the friction heat and reduces the friction loss of machines to the least. This paper is developing an automatic grease lubricator using a mode of the gas generation type from galvanic electricity. The ultimate goal of this equipment is to lubricate an adequate amount of grease with galvanic corrosion. In an electrolyte, combining anode(Mo) with cathode(Zn) is pressing out hydrogen gas of an galvanic element with galvanic reaction. The characteristics of this method is continuous flowing small hydrogen gas and controling the usage of the amount of the generation of hydrogen gas. The exterior body of grease lubricator was analyzed by Digital Mock-up of CATIA V5 and finite element analysis. The maximum stress is distributed over the outlet part where the grease lubricator suddenly narrowly contracts. The outlet part is analyzed with different constructed angle due to the different loading and setting angles. Using the analyzed design, RP trial products were producted and tested.

Fatty acids were prepared from oil from Korean Panax ginseng root and were determined by a high performance liquid chromatography. The major fatty acids in the Korean Panax ginseng root oil were found to be linoleic 42.62%, palmitic 29.85%, oleic 12.31%, stearic 7.88% and linolenic acid 7.34%.

Zinc soap and Zn/Ba mixed metal soap were synthesized and PVC plastisol with mixed metal soap and various costabilizers were also synthesized with good structures and characterized by IR and $^1H$-NMR. The IR spectrums and $^1H$-NMR spectrums of the synthesized soaps were in very good accordance with the structures proposed by earlier workers. In using phosphite as a costabilizer, TIDP phosphite was shown to be the excellent thermal stabilization effect at the low temperature and TNPP phosphite was shown to be the excellent thermal stabilization effect at the high temperature. In case of antioxidant, it was revealed that antioxidant was not effective in the low temperature thermal stabilization effect while highly effective in the high temperature thermal stability. $NaClO_4$ solution with sorbitol solvent had the best thermal stabilization effect among $NaClO_4$ solution series at low and high temperature.

As computer hardware and computer graphics technologies have developed in recent years, one can find research on the creation of bubbles. However, it is not easy to find soap bubbles that are modeled and rendered using actual physical parameters. The bubbles are expressed in a variety of models and colors depending on which tool is used, which strength is used, and the conditions of the surrounding environment. Therefore, in this paper, we present synthetic methods to create virtual soap bubbles based on physical parameters derived from some straws such as the bubbles' diameter over time and the number of bubbles when blowing. On the top of that, we will show a model of a soap bubble that can be usable in a virtual reality contents and optimized with rendering parameters.

오랫동안 많은 이들에게 지속적인 사랑을 받아온 제품을 열거하기란 생각보다 쉽지 않다. 산업구조의 급변에 따라 일상생활에도 많은 변화가 찾아오기 때문이다. 각종 전자제품에서 '스마트'란 수식어가 붙은 것이 얼마 되지 않았다는 것이 대표적인 예라고 할 수 있다. 하지만 이런 중에도 소비자들이 꾸준하게 애용하는 제품이 있다. 도브, 럭스, 폰즈, 바세린, 립톤 등이 바로 그것이다. 이러한 제품을 생산 판매하는 기업이 오늘의 주인공인 유니레버코리아(주)다. 1985년 합작회사로 국내에 처음 진출한 유니레버코리아(주)는 1993년 도약의 기틀을 마련하게 된다. 세계적 수준의 생산설비를 갖춘 대전공장을 설립하게 된 것이다. 이후 이곳에서는 샴푸류, 비누류, 화장품을 비롯한 생활용품과 아이스티 식품류를 제조해 나가면서 한국시장 진출에 성공하게 된다. 그야말로 기업 성장의 선봉장 역할을 톡톡히 수행한 것이다. 그렇다면 무엇이 이런 힘을 이끌어 냈을까. 유니레버코리아(주) 대전공장 관계자들은 그 중심에 안전이 자리 잡고 있다고 강조한다. OHSAS 18001(안전보건경영시스템), ISO 14001(환경경영시스템), ISO 9002(품질경영시스템) 인증 취득을 통해 관리체계를 확고히 한 가운데 경영진들의 높은 안전의식을 바탕으로 빈틈없는 안전관리를 해나갔다는 것이다. 이를 통해 근로자의 안전을 확보하면서 소비자들에게 사랑받는 제품을 생산했다는 설명이다. 구체적으로 이곳 안전관리가 어떻게 펼쳐지고 있는지 찾아가 봤다.

The purpose of the study was to get the valuable data for developing the new natural fat soaps which have an excellent biodegradation performance. Thus, natural fat soaps mixed with the two types of detergents (AOS and LAS) on the various concentrations were made and the biodegradation of the samples were analysed by Dissolved Oxygen method using active sludge. Also, the results were compared with the commercial synthetic detergents and market soaps. The results from the study were the followings: 1. The plant fat soap and the wasted oil soap with the concentration of 5 mg/l and 15 mg/l had an excellent biodegradation rather than animal fat soap. 2. There was little difference among samples with the concentration of 5 mg/l, but there was much difference among them with the concentration of 15 mg/l. 3. The periods for consuming oxygen of wasted oil soap mixed AOS and LAS was the fastest.

Purpose This study was designed to verify the effect of aromatherapy on a postpartum mother's perineal healing. Method The research design was a clinical trial. The methods of aromatherapy were applied sitz bath or soap application using essential oils with Lavender, Myrrh, Neroli, Rose, Grapefruit, Mandarin, Orange, and Roman Chamomile. The subjects of this experiment were postpartum mothers who delivered vaginally with an episiotomy. They were allocated to one of three groups; the aroma-sitz bath group, aroma-soap application group or control group. To evaluate the effect of aromatherapy, the perineal healing status was measured using the REEDA scale and smears of episiotomy wound were obtained. The data were analyzed by repeated measures of ANOVA, ANCOV A, x$^2$- test, and multiple response analysis via SPSS program. Results The REEDA scale was significantly low in the experimental group at postpartum 5th and 7th days (P=.009, P=.003), respectively. Most were observed ‘few’(5-10 bacteria per field) bacteria in the smears of episiotomy wound. The one bacteria was identified in the 50.8% of subjects in pretest and two bacteria in the 60.3% in posttest. Most frequently identified bacteria were Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis. Conclusion In conclusion, these findings indicate that postpartum aromatherapy for perineal care could be effective in healing the perineum perineal care could be effective in healing the perineum.
