블루투스 비콘 디바이스와 수신기의 네트워크 연결을 위한 디바이스 모드 제어 방법

  • 본 논문에서는 블루투스 비콘을 이용한 스마트팩토리 물류추적시스템에서 복수개의 수신 단말기에서 복수개의 비콘 디바이스의 정확한 위치 인식을 위해 디바이스 모드 제어 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 블루투스 4.0 비콘 IPS 서비스를 활용한 비콘 디바이스 이동 추적, 3축 가속도 센서를 활용한 비콘 디바이스 이동 감지, 비콘 디바이스 이동 감지를 통한 블루투스 모드 제어 실험을 진행하였다. 실험을 통해 비콘 디바이스에 구성된 가속도 센서의 데이터를 활용하여 비콘 신호 전송을 제어할 수 있으며, 신호강도(RSSI) 값을 근거로 비콘 디바이스의 이동 경로와 위치 추적이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • The researches about the hardware and the software implementing ubiquitous sensor network have great rush in recent years. This paper deals the development of a sensor node with the dual interface which also has an RF wireless interface while has an Bluetooth interface used widely in present. This sensor node includes a Atmeg32 microcontroller, a Bluetooth module, a RF module. a temperature-humidity sensor. and I also develop the F/Ws controlling each modules with C language using GCC compiler. The sensor node developed can reaches 15m with Bluetooth interface and 60m with RF interface. It works stably with the voltage above 5V and it consumes currents 21mA average in idle mode, 63mA average in active mode.

  • Increasing popularity of WLAN and advancement of WPAN allow user to connect to the Internet easily today. The increasing of number of networking mobile device such as laptop and PDA requires computing devices to share high speed Internet line or work on networks in most cases. This has stimulated the demand of access point that supports multiple network interfaces. This paper describes the process of design, implementation and test of the wired/wireless integrated access point that supports multiple network interfaces such as wired LAN, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and Broadband network. We designed and developed the hardware system and protocol software to integrate heterogeneous network. The system has shown compatibility with standard specification and good performance through testing with various network devices.

  • 블루투스란 근거리에 놓여 있는 컴퓨터와 이동단말기 가전제품 등을 무선으로 연결하여 쌍방향으로 실시간 통신을 가능하게 해주는 규격을 말하거나 그 규격에 맞는 제품을 이르는 말이다. 가정 및 사무실에서 사용되는 모든 정보기기에 장착되는 것을 목표로 무선망을 구성하여 어떠한 유/무선망과도 연동할 수 있게 한다. 따라서, 블루투스를 이용한 무선 네트워크가 완성되면 모든 정보기기간의 자유로운 데이터 교환이 이루어지며, 인터넷 브리지를 구성하면 현재 광케이블이나 ADSL, 모뎀 등을 통해 데스크탑 컴퓨터에 도달해 있는 인터넷 정보가 비로소 사용자의 손안에까지 도달할 수 있게 된다. 즉, 무선통신의 궁극적인 목표인 언제, 어디서나, 누구나, 어떤 형태의 정보도 교환한다는 목표에 대한 완성으로까지 볼 수 있다. 미국 시장조사 회사 가트너의 "블루투스 시장의 3단계 발전 전망"이라는 보고서에 따르면, 첫 단계에서는 어댑터 카드나 USB 단자 부착 PC, 고기능 휴대폰 등에 채택되고, 두 번째 단계에는 저가의 Mobile 제품, 무선전화, 개인휴대단말기, 가정용 네트워킹기기, 자동차 등으로 블루투스 탑재기기가 크게 증가할 것이고, 세 번째 단계에는 거의 모든 휴대기기에 채택되어 시장규모가 확대될 것으로 전망하고 있다. 블루투스는 현재 휴대폰, 노트북 컴퓨터, 디지털카메라, 휴대 게임기 등 휴대기기 제조업체는 물론 자동차 제조업체 등 전자, 정보홍신 이외 기업의 지지도 받고 있다.

Study on the Security Threats Factors of A Bluetooth Low Energy (저전력 블루투스의 보안 위협 요인들에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, Wireless communication has been widely used as a short distance communication medium in various industrial fields as well as communication connection between home appliances due to the appearance of the Internet of Things. And Most commonly used wireless communication media include WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Among them, Bluetooth is widely used for communication between smart devices as well as computer peripheral devices. And Bluetooth in the home network fields is being used to control electronic products. However, since Bluetooth security vulnerabilities are known, more and more attacks are being exploited. As the application range of Bluetooth is expanding, it is necessary to prepare countermeasures accordingly. Therefore, this study investigates the security threat factors of through Bluetooth'attack case and attack technology. And By proposing countermeasures against this problem, we intend to utilize it as data for improving the security of wireless network service in the future.

A Bluetooth Scatternet Formation Algorithm based on Hardware Implementation (하드웨어 구현을 기반으로 한 블루투스 스캐터넷 형성 알고리즘)

  • Bluetooth has been reputed as a wireless ad-hoc networking technology supplying scalable and extensible networks between digital devices. For that kind of networks, scatternet is a most essential part in bluetooth. But past researches on bluetooth scatternet has proposed only possibilities of scatternet algorithm based on simulation results. And many of the researches failed in guaranteeing extensibility and flexibility and had many difficulties in real hardware implementation. In this paper, we proposed node ring scatternet(NRS) algorithm guaranteeing extensible and flexible networks. NRS algorithm is designed for hardware implementation using real commercial bluetooth module. That algorithm is divided into initial formation and reformation. For initial formation, we proposed limited SEEK/SCAN algorithm. For reformation, we proposed DIAC algorithm and Reserved Recovery Node algorithm. And we proposed SFMP(Scatternet Formation & Management Protocol) in protocol stack for real implementation. NRS algorithm is operated in SFMP. Finally, we performed real hardware experiments and evaluated the proposed algorithm. In that experiments, we succeeded in forming scatternet up to 20 nodes. In comparison with other similar algorithm, proposed algorithm have the improvement in scatternet formation delay and success rate.

NBAS: NFT-based Bluetooth Device Authentication System (NBAS: NFT를 활용한 블루투스 장치 인증시스템)

  • Most Bluetooth devices are commonly used in various ways these days, but they can be often lost due to small-size devices. However, most Bluetooth protocol do not provide authentication functions to legitimate owners, and thus someone who obtains the lost Bluetooth device can easily connect to their smart devices to use it. In this paper, we propose NBAS can authenticates legitimate owners using NFT on lossy Bluetooth devices.NBAS generates a digital wallet on the blockchain using the decentralized network Ethereum blockchain and facilitating the MAC address of the Bluetooth device in the digital wallet. The owner of the wallet uses a private key to certify the Bluetooth device using NFT. The initial pairing time of NBAS was 10.25 sec, but the reconnection time was 0.007 sec similar to the conventional method, and the pairing rejection time for unapproved users was 1.58 sec on average. Therefore, the proposed NBAS effectively shows the device authentication over the conventional Bluetooth.

  • At present, with the rise of smart-phone market supported the Wi-Fi, smart-phone based network content has propagated rapidly. But, network content service is difficult in feature phone and multimedia device not supporting the Wi-Fi or supporting only the bluetooth. This paper was used the zigbee technology supporting low power, low cost, availability, multi channel, broadcasting compared to the bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It will provide a variable network game development by utilizing the zigbee technology. Also, it is provide the development of variable mobile network contents using the zigbee.

  • 홈 네트워크의 표준화를 추진하는 분야활동은 크게 매체에 의해서 유/무선으로 구분될 수 있다. 여기서 소개하는 이외에도 홈 네트워크를 목표로 하는 활동분야는 많지만 여기서는 최근 활동이 활발한 분야인 TA1394/HAVi, USB2, Home PNA, 전력선 통신, 무선 1394, Home RF-WG, 블루투스, IrDA의 표준화 단체를 중심으로 국내외 표준 규격화 동향에 대하여 기술한다.

  • In this paper, a point-to-multipoint wireless communication system based on Bluetooth specifications, which is possibly applied to very large vessels, is implemented and analyzed. Here, a communication network is composed of a slave Bluetooth module connected to the task computer and multiple master Bluetooth modules equipped with a sensor. And exploiting the point-to-multipoint data communication among the Bluetooth modules, a surveillance system that recognizes and controls a variety of emergency situations happened on a large vessel is implemented. It is, therefore, considered that the wireless communication system implemented in this paper is possibly exploited a basic technology for the digital shipbuilding of the next generation.
