  • 브랜드 아이덴티티는 브랜드 인지도를 강화하고 다른 브랜드와 차이를 극대화하고 브랜드 자산을 창출하는 중요한 방법이다. 그러나 통일된 브랜드 아이덴티티 시스템 모델이 없는 상황은 브랜드 아이덴티티 개발에 큰 어려움을 가져왔다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 브랜드 아이덴티티의 개념을 고찰하였다. 그다음 아커(David A.Aaker), 손일권, 휠러(Wheeler) 세 학자들이 브랜드아이덴티티 시스템에 대한 관점을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 새로운 종합적 브랜드 아이덴티티 시스템을 추출하였다.

  • 본 연구는 한국상품문화학회 논문집에 게재된 내용으로 홍삼인삼 제품을 생산하는 지역단위 영세 중소기업의 브랜드 아이덴티티(brand identity)를 위하여 우리나라 고유의 문화 이미지를 대표하는 한글을 이용한 캘리그래피를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 홍삼인삼 제품이 국가 브랜드를 주도할 수 있도록 하는데 기여하고 한글의 국제화는 물론, 기업들이 소비자에게 가까이 다가갈 수 있는 브랜드 디자인(brand design)을 개발하고, 개발된 브랜드 아이덴티티(brand identity)를 활용하여 소비자로부터 지속적인 관심과 선택을 받을 수 있도록 도움을 주는데 그 의의가 있다. 본 고에서는 홍삼인삼패키지 브랜드별 패키지디자인 사례를 중심으로 논문의 일부 내용을 살펴보도록 한다.

  • 패키지디자인은 상품이 다양화 되고 선택의 기회와 폭이 넓어지면서 소비자는 감성적 가치에 치중하게 되었다. 본 연구는 건강식품브랜드 패키지디자인 개발을 통하여 제약회사 패키지 개발의 특수성과 제작에 있어서 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구대상인 제약회사 패키지 디자인은 첫째, 엄브렐러 브랜드(umbrella brand) 정책을 실시하고 있었다. 둘째, 보령 수앤수(보령 건강식품브랜드)의 브랜드 아이덴티티 부재이다. 셋째, 패키지 디자인에있어 규제가 많아서 시각적으로 보기 좋은 패키지 디자인을 하기 어려운 부분이 있다. 제약회사는 규모와 투자여력에 비하여 패키지 디자인에 투자하지 않는 영세성의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 국제적인 제약회사가 패키지 디자인에 강력한 시각적 아이덴티티 정책을 실시하고 있음을 양지하고 이를 개선하는 방안을 모색해야 한다.

  • Credit cards are becoming an important marketing tool that reveals brand identity beyond payment methods. The purpose of this study is to suggest an effective design strategy plan by analyzing credit card design case that provided a positive brand experience among the cases of implementing the brand identity of a domestic credit card. The design of a representative credit card brand in Korea was analyzed according to Schmidt's experience type. As a result of analysis, when designing a credit card, it maximizes the visual effect with colors suitable for each theme, presents a multi-faceted experience that stimulates the five senses of the consumer, and provides an active brand experience that can reminisce the benefits of a credit card. It was found to be effective in revealing the brand identity. This study is meaningful in that local credit card companies offer design directions that can positively imprint brands on consumers through credit card designs.

  • In recent days, consumer's product selection various with diverse life style, not simply with income class. This in why diversified demand and diversified products appear in every industry, which means the success or failure of business relies on tis ability to yield the best productivity under the condition of diversification. The purpose of this study is to discuss how an automaker can create its unique identity and brand image in automobile industry and what's brand role and value, under the recognition that clarifying a target market in development process is indispensable to developing a product of higher marketability. By building and applying a product of higher marketability. By building and applying a brand-unique consistent design identity, it's intended to meet the increasing requirements of product attribute for symbolism or sensitivity so as satisfy or exceed customer expectation.

A Study on the Design Identity of Optical Shop Brands (안경원 브랜드의 디자인아이덴티티에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the design identity visual elements of optical shop brand$\underline{s}$ in order to provide objective data necessary for optical shop brands' design development. Methods: This study examined the design identity concept of the optical shop brands and analyzed visual elements of brand design identity with a focus on the symbols of domestic franchise optical shops, type of a symbol mark, representation style of logo type, color usage, use or non-use of character, etc. Results: Many symbols were directly associated with the eyeglasses, such as eyeglasses and eyes, face and iris. Along with that, letters or figures were also observed. For the type of symbol, most types were found to have the designs that took spherical and word mark shapes. Particularly, the word mark type had English words more often than Korean words. For logo types, the gothic format was dominant. In relation to the thickness of letter, thick boldface type was commonly used. The combination of 2 degrees was the color frequency used most often in the optical shop brand design. For the frequency of color usage, black and red colors were used most often. Particularly, the orange color, as well as the black color, was also often used for the main color of symbols or logo types. Meanwhile, the characters were used only in some optical shop. Most characters were animals and expressed in the cartoon and graphical forms. Conclusions: Typifier, symbol mark, logo type, color, and character are the elements forming the basic development system for brand design identity. Systematic design is needed which clearly ensures the function and role along with the mutual consistency as a important visual component of the optical shop brand.

  • This study is about brand design system development cases based on BX, focusing on research of JUNGGANEGOTGAN brand conducted from January 2018 to April. BX is a subjective and internal response of consumers arising from design stimulus including brand identity. BX design is brand-related stimulus based on brand experience and BX is generated when stimulant of brand design and consumers' contacting with brand are interacting. The most important thing of BX design system is that BX design system plays a very important role when consumers choose goods or services of some brand at the various touch points of brand in the process that consumers form the certain brand image. This study suggests the final completed brand design draft plan along with brand design system development strategy conducted about JUNGGANEGOTGAN based on BX design. As a result, modeling and associations of JUNGGANEGOTGAN brand experience design seem to be statistically meaningful (F=30.961, p<.001). Preferences of brand design is rated by modeling (=.443, p<.001), associations (=.218, p<.001) in order and it turns out to be affected.

  • Nowadays, technological differences between companies have decreased and products launched show more resemblance to each other. As an alternative plan companies started developing brands. The excellence in quality of a product from a company could be easily copied, but the formless value, brand, cannot be imitated easily. More importantly, in the globally competing generation the brand provides distinctiveness and gives a solution to the relationship between consumers. Also the design image takes a big part in a company's competitiveness. The design image that represents the company reflects the brand, and it reflects the image and the philosophy of the company. And the images of each product influence the brand. Also an effective delivery of a product image would give a synergistic effect on the brand. A company could build this design identity to elevate the brand. Therefore, the identity of design image reflects the brand. Therefore a study on the area of the absence and misled identity of design image is important. This study is fixed on the idea of, development of brand to increase competitiveness, and the affiliation of design image with the identity of the brand. This study, on the basis of preceding research and theoretical background, aims to find the design identity area focusing on the product design image of the product purchased by the consumer. Firstly, we need to examine the affinity of the product image from the consumer, and analyse the direction of images to offer a solution that could advance the design identity strategy.
