The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between importance and satisfaction of beauty contest using IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) by deriving the quality factors of contest for revitalize beauty contest. For the study, a survey was conducted on participants with experience participating in beauty contest, and the collected data were analyzed using a response sample t-test and a PIA matrix. The results are as follows. First, there was a difference in importance and satisfaction as the average of importance was high. Second, in the first quadrant of the IPA matrix, contents related to contest assignment were mainly shown. This was analyzed as an effective factor that can improve the quality of the competition. Third, in the second quadrant, factors related to contest review were distributed. Accordingly, measures are required to increase the expertise and transparency of review. Fourth, in the third quadrant, the contents of the contest operation are mainly shown, and the satisfaction level is low, but supplementing it will have an improvement effect. Fifth, in the fourth quadrant, the satisfaction of the ability improvement item was high, which is analyzed that the contest experience affects the improvement of individual skills. Through this, it is significant to be used as basic data to establish a plan for revitalizing beauty contest.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual conditions of students before and after acquiring national technical qualifications for nail cosmetologists, and to provide basic data for building systematic data according to students' competency and effective educational methods for acquiring qualifications. The statistical package program SPSS v 18.0 was used for the trend of acquiring national technical qualifications for nail cosmetologists among each variable according to careers in the nail beauty industry for nail beauty students residing in Gwangju. As a result of using the statistical package program SPSS v 18.0, the analysis showed that the proportion of women (80.8%), single (70.8%), 20s (47.7%), college or university graduates (26.2%), and students (42.3%) was high. In addition, as a result of cross-analysis of the period and cost according to gender for obtaining the national technical license of the nail beautician, it was concluded that the Pearson chi-square significant probability (p) was .416 and .899, respectively, and there was a difference between men and women. The field experience of the nail beauty industry was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on the training period, course cost, educational institution, and exam experience (p <.001) for obtaining a certificate. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to promote the development of nail beauty marketing and to present a constructive vision of the nail beauty industry to be pursued in the future.

This study aims to put forth an efficient way of improving body shapes by examining the effects of deep tissue massage and illite-combined deep tissue massage on body shape changes, and identifying body shape changes when applying each method. This study targeted twenty women in their thirties, and ten separate subjects were placed in different groups. Then deep tissue massage and illite-combined deep tissue massage were performed once a week, for a total of eight weeks. Moire Topography was applied before the experiments, four weeks later and eight weeks later to compare changes in spinous process inclination, shoulders and hips. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS v. 21.0, and the study results are as follows. In relation to general characteristics of the subjects, professionals occupied the highest proportion of them, and 90% of them were married. Here, 77.8% of them had experience in giving birth, and 78.6% of them chose natural birth. In addition, 57.1% of the subjects holding a majority had two children. When measuring spinous process inclination, shoulders and hips in the illite-combined deep tissue massage group and in the deep tissue massage group before the experiments, the illite-combined deep tissue massage group showed somewhat higher values in every area than the deep tissue massage group, but no statistically significant differences were not found, which means the homogeneity existed between them. When comparing body shape changes between the two massage methods, there were significant differences(p<.05, p<.01), because the illite-combined deep tissue massage group showed a much higher decline in spinous process inclination, shoulders and hips than the deep tissue massage group. This implies illite-combined deep tissue massage was more effective in improving body shapes than deep tissue massage. Therefore, illite-combined deep tissue massage is considered to be helpful in improving body shapes, and it is anticipated that this massage method can be used in relevant fields, including the skin care industry.
The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of the benefit of soft waxing, hard waxing, and sugaring waxing on intention to reuse in Korean adults, and to provide useful information to people who are new to waxing. As a research method, from May 1, 2019 to August 30 (17 weeks), we surveyed 422 subjects between 10 and 40 years old who lived in Busan and Yeongnam area and experienced waxing. In statistical analysis, Cronbach's alpha was calculated for reliability test, and Chi-squared test, independent t-test, correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were used. Multiple responses were analyzed using multiple response test. In the result of the effect of waxing benefit on intention to reuse, there was a significant positive correlation of waxing seeking score by body part, total waxing benefit score(r=0.389, p<0.001), and total score of intention to reuse (r=0.214, p>0.001) with intention to reuse. There was also a significant positive correlation between waxing benefit by body part and intention to reuse, except arms and legs. In the result of the effect of waxing benefit on intention to reuse, face waxing (β=0.106, p<0.001), Brazilian waxing (β=0.221, p<0.001) and total waxing benefit score (β=0.321, p<0.001) had a significant effect on intention to reuse. In the present study, awareness of sugaring waxing was low but favor and intention to reuse were strong, and the subjects sought sugaring waxing for sensitive body parts. Thus, would provide useful information for consumers new to waxing, and also basic information for studies on waxing.
This study attempted to secure competitiveness in the cosmetics market and provide basic data needed to promote sales and PR after reflecting consumer demands and needs in the development of cosmeceuticals. For this, it investigated their perception regarding the ingredients and efficacies of cosmeceuticals and repurchase intention among a total of 193 adults in their 20-50s who have had prior experience of buying these types of products from an online shopping mall as the importance of cosmeceuticals is emerging. According to a survey on consumer perceptions regarding the ingredients of cosmeceuticals by gender, there was a clear difference between men and women. In particular, when asked about the ingredients of whitening cosmetics, the percentage of male respondents was as low as 30.8% with a significant difference between men and women (t=31.688,p<0.001). In addition, most consumers were very aware of the efficacies of the ingredients of cosmeceuticals on the skin. In terms of actual repurchase intention, however, a significant difference was found by gender and product type in 3 different cosmeceuticals. In other words, men were lower than women in terms of awareness of cosmeceuticals and repurchase intention. Therefore, the development of a plan which satisfies both men and women, easily labels ingredients and meets consumer needs and demands through proper pricing policy are needed during the development of cosmeceuticals.
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of experience characteristics of cosmetics brand stores on purchase intention through brand value and product in-store expectations. In addition, by identifying the effects of gender regulation, the study aimed to supplement theoretical studies and to provide practical implications on the experience of cosmetics brand stores. First, we presented educational experiences, aesthetic experiences, and playful experiences as experience characteristics in stores. And we assumed the effect of these experience characteristics on the brand value and the expectation of the product in the store, and the effect of the brand value and the expectation on the purchase intention of the product in the store. 279 data were collected from consumers who had visited cosmetics brand stores, and we analyzed them using structural equation analysis. As a result, both experience characteristics have positive effects on brand value and in-store product expectations, and brand value has positive effects on expectations. In addition, brand value and in-store product expectations have a positive effect on in-store product purchase intention. In moderating effects of gender, the effect of playful experience on brand value is greater in male group, and the impact of educational and aesthetic experience on product expectations is greater in female group. These results contribute to the theoretical expansion of experience research on cosmetic brand stores, and provide strategic implications for experience marketing of cosmetic stores.

In this study, 340 Korean women were surveyed to analyze the impact of the type of sunscreen and use status on the satisfaction of products and resale. Studies have shown that indoor activity is higher than outdoor activity, and both simple and complex sunscreen is often used to compensate for skin tone. Out of single sunscreen, sun cream was used and air cushion was used a lot. Although product usability and UV protection indices were important factors in purchasing, 30% experienced side effects while product satisfaction and willingness to repurchase were high. The recognition of safety, Effectiveness, convenience, usability, satisfaction, and repurchase were all higher than that of composite UV-blocking products, and among subcomponents of product usage recognition, the level of convenience, efficacy, usability, and safety affected satisfaction and repurchase in order. Consequently, the perception of simple UV protection products was higher when using products for UV protection, and its convenience had a significant impact on satisfaction and resale.
To find out the a Study on experiential consumption and development of the customized cosmetics on female university students in their 20s, this study conducted sampling using probability sampling from cosmetics major students in S City from September 1 to October 30, 2020. In this study, a study model was designed for a total of 30 people and studied as an Experience-Consume Experimentation. First, the result of the pre-purchase survey revealed that skincare cosmetics had the highest percentage for being selected by 30 people for "the preferred cosmetic type per the perception regarding customized cosmetics." Second, the result of the pre-purchase survey revealed that 11 people answered skincare cosmetics, 1 person answered shade cosmetics, and 2 people answered fragrance products (perfume, diffusers, etc.) for "the experience type for customized cosmetics." Third, the result of the post-purchase survey revealed that 29 people are willing to recommend the products, while 1 person is not. For the appropriateness of the price, 23 people answered yes; 7 people answered no. for the characteristics of the experience, 24 people (80%) answered that they selected ingredients according to their skin type; 9 people answered that the price is cheap considering they received 1:1 consultation; 18 people answered that they made a choice per their preferences (skin type) rather than per brands; 3 people answered that their self-esteem is stronger as if they received personal care. Therefore, customized cosmetics are expected to increase the attractiveness and purchase rate of female students in their twenties given that 'Human Touch,' genetic analysis, and 'hyper-customization technology,' which requires new development of customized cosmetics experience consumption for female college students in their 20s.
This study aims to analyze the impact of well-being tourism motivation on quality of life through well-being tourism satisfaction, focusing on wellness mediated effects. Recently, despite the growing number of well-being tourism pursuing wellness, the lack of research has led to a close analysis of the impact of well-being tourism motivation on quality of life through well-being tourism satisfaction. For this study, a total of 236 people who have experienced well-being tours in the metropolitan area were surveyed from May 10 to May 21, 2021. First, well-being tourism motivation has a positive effect on well-being tourism satisfaction. Second, well-being tourism satisfaction has a positive impact on the quality of life. Third, Wellness has a positive indirect effect as a partial mediator between well-being tourism satisfaction and quality of life The implications of this study are to demonstrate the impact of well-being tourism on quality of life using Wellness' mediators This study suggests that wellness tourism plays an important role in improving the quality of life. It was analyzed that well-being tourism had a positive effect on improving the quality of life at a time when the fatigue of daily life was increased due to prolonged COVID-19. In addition, Wellis analyzed that it is an important factor in enhancing the quality of life for well-being tourists. This contributes not only to the academic contribution to the revitalization of well-being tourism, but also to the development of stress improvement routes to improve people's lives nationally.
As the spread of smartphones has become more common and the utilization rate has increased, the mobile shopping market is also growing and expectations for related industries are also increasing. Mobile shopping apps are converging with various industries such as fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, and competition among companies to increase the number of users is intensifying with the activation of non-face-to-face. Accordingly, in this study, a study on the perceived value and intention to use mobile shopping apps was conducted based on a VAM. In order to test the hypothesis of this study, a questionnaire was conducted on 266 people who had used a mobile shopping app and it was used for analysis. Looking at the results, it was confirmed that both usefulness and enjoyment among the perceived benefit of mobile shopping apps have a positive (+) effect on the perceived value. However, it was found that the technicality and perceived risk among the perceived sacrifices of mobile shopping apps did not significantly affect the perceived value. Finally, it was confirmed that the perceived value of the mobile shopping app had a positive (+) effect on the intention to use. Through this study, we would like to examine the factors that can affect perceived value and usage intention in the mobile shopping app industry, which is increasingly competitive among companies along with the rapid growth of mobile technology and market, and suggest practical implications for related companies and officials to establish efficient strategies to further increase mobile shopping app users.
