  • 초기단계의 제품 검사방법은 단순히 제품이 제대로의 기능을 수행하는지 안하는지에 대해서만 검사하고 결정을 내릴 뿐이었다. 대부분의 검사란, 검사자에게 최종적으로 제품이 인수된 후에 제품의 상태여부를 한정적이고, 제한적으로만 판단하여 검사결과를 제공하여왔다. 현대의 제품특성이 구조적 복잡성의 증가, 제품불량 현상파악의 난이도 증가등으로 제품의 사용절차, 검사, 유지보수, 부품교환등이 점점 더 난해해지고, 검사자의 개인적인 숙련도도 증가하게 되어, 제품을 유지보수하는데 더 많은 비용과 시간을 필요로하게 되었다. 이러한 문제들의 해결방안의 하나로 제품의 자체에 스스로 검사할 수 있는 체계적인 시스템을 설치하게 되어 BIT(Built-In-Test)가 탄생하게 되었다. BIT는 현존하는 제품뿐만아니라, 생산될 제품의 설계단계에서도 많이 응용되어 제품의 RAM(Reliability, Availability, Maintainability)에 많은 기여를 해왔다. 이 PAPER는 지금까지 BIT가 주로 Military System에 적용되어온 것을 Commercial system으로의 변환을 위한 기초작업을 제시하고 여러 대안을 열거하였으며, BIT가 갖고 있는 문제점들을 파악하여, 향후 고도화 되가는 산업사회의 요구에 부응할 수 있는 토대를 마련코자 Survey하였다.

An Accurate Boundary Detection Algorithm for Faulty Inspection of Bump on Chips (반도체 칩의 범프 불량 검사를 위한 정확한 경계 검출 알고리즘)

  • Generally, a semiconductor chip measured with a few micro units is captured by line scan camera for higher inspection accuracy. However, the faulty inspection requires an exact boundary detection algorithm because it is very sensitive to scan speed and lighting conditions. In this paper we propose boundary detection using subpixel edge detection method in order to increase the accuracy of bump faulty detection on chips. The bump edge is detected by first derivative to four directions from bump center point and the exact edge positions are searched by the subpixel method. Also, the exact bump boundary to calculate the actual bump size is computed by LSM(Least Squares Method) to minimize errors since the bump size is varied such as bump protrusion, bump bridge, and bump discoloration. Experimental results exhibit that the proposed algorithm shows large improvement comparable to the other conventional boundary detection algorithms.

  • Due to the development of nondestructive testing techniques, methods of inspecting cracks in mechanical parts have drawn attentions. Among various non-destructive testing methods the acoustic resonance method which analyzes the natural frequencies has been developed into a technique suitable for the prompt judgements of the existence of the defects in the mechanical parts. In this study, we investigated the crack inspection technique to examine the cracks in the yoke tubes by using the acoustic resonance method and realized the system to quickly detect the cracks. A 24bit ADC circuit and an MCU were installed for the smooth data collection, and a TCP / IP communication interface was configured for the data communication with PC. We used a microphone as a sensor measuring the vibrations. We constructed an analysis software to obtain the frequency spectra of the vibrations, to find the existence of the cracks, and to feedback to the user. Tests were conducted using the yoke tubes manufactured in the real industrial field. The tests were successfully conducted to distinguish the good products from the defective (cracked) products and confirmed that they can be employed in the actual industrial field.

  • A difficulty of the visual inspection for translated, magnified and rotated objects exists owing to the limitation of recognition rate. In this paper, we perform to define Integral Logarithm Transform(ILT), to consider its characteristic for implementation of Translation-, Magnification- and Rotation-invariant inspection system, and to compare with other methods in inspection error rate. By using magnification and rotation invariance properties of ILT, it makes easier than other methods to extract the rotation degree. The new method employs the ILT for the good/bad inspection of translated, magnified and rotated objects and experiment is performed to achieve translation, magnification and rotation invariance. In other methods both magnification and rotation invariance can't be available. As the result of he experiment, it is not better than the self-organizing map in the improvement of recognition rate, but it shows us the possibility to be used as a tool for the good/bad inspection system.

Influence of Helicobacter pylori Infection on Gastric Motility in Children and Adolescents with Functional Dyspepsia (기능성 소화불량 소아청소년에서 위 운동에 대한 Helicobater pylori 감염의 영향)

  • Purpose: In spite of many reports about Helicobacter pylori infection in children with functional gastrointestinal disorders, there are few reports about the influence of H. pylori infection to functional dyspepsia and gastric motility. Therefore, we studied the influence of H. pylori infection on gastric myoelectrical activity in children with functional dyspepsia. Methods: Between August 2006 and December 2008 upper gastrointestinal endoscopies with biopsies, the rapid urease test and/or $^{13}C$ urea breath test, and electrogastrography (EGG) were performed on 63 patients with histologic chronic gastritis; patients with chronic disorders were excluded. Comparisons about gastric myoelectrical activities were made between H. pylori-positive children (n=25) and H. pylorinegative children (n=38). Results: The percentage of pre- and post-prandial normogastria was relatively lower in H. pylori-positive children than H. pylori-negative children (80% vs. 65%, and 80% vs. 68%, respectively). Compared to H. pylori-negative children, H. pylori-positive children had lower postprandial predominant power (8.18${\pm}$22.36 dB and 32.20${\pm}$24.18 dB, respectively; p<0.01) and a lower power ratio (${\delta}P$; -1.28${\pm}$6.18 vs. +4.62${\pm}$5.93, respectively; p<0.01). Conclusion: It was suggested that the gastric myoelectrical activity in children with chronic gastritis can be influenced by H. pylori infection. Thus, this study indicates that H. pylori infection may be predictable in children with functional dyspepsia through analyzing the EGG parameters, and treatment may be considered in H. pylori-positive children with impaired gastric activity, especially in the lower prevalence area.

Software Implementation of Welding Bead Defect Detection using Sensor and Image Data (센서 및 영상데이터를 이용한 용접 비드 불량검사 소프트웨어 구현)

  • Various methods have been proposed to determine the defect detection of welding bead, and recently sensor data and image data inspection have been steadily announced. There are advantages that sensor data inspection is highly accurate, and two-dimensional-based image data inspection is able to determine the position of the welding bead. However, when analyzing only with sensor data, it is difficult to determine whether the welding has been performed at the correct position. On the other hand, the image data inspection does not have high accuracy due to noise and measurement errors. In this paper, we propose a method that can complement the shortcomings of each inspection method and increase its advantages to improve accuracy and speed up inspection by fusing sensor data inspection which are average current, average volt, and mixed gas data, and image data inspection methods and is implemented as software. In addition, it is intended to allow users to conveniently and intuitively analyze and grasp the results by performing analysis using a graphical user interface(GUI) and checking the data and inspection results used for the inspection. Sensor inspection is performed using the characteristics of each sensor data, and image data is inspected by applying a morphology geodesic active contour algorithm. The experimental results showed 98% accuracy, and when performing the inspection on the four image data, and sensor data the inspection time was about 1.9 seconds, indicating the performance of software that can be used as a real-time inspector in the welding process.

Development of the Mechenical System and Vision Algorithm for the External Appearance Test Using Vision Image Processing (비전 이미지 프로세싱을 이용한 외관검사가 가능한 기계시스템 및 비전 알고리즘 개발)

  • In this study, the defect in connection with a C-tray was inspected using a low-cost camera. The four test items were the device overlapping in the tray, the bending of the tray, the loaded quantity of the tray, and the device pocket leaving, an algorithm was developed for defining and detecting the above defect types. Therefore, the developed handling system could extend the application of the stack of the c-tray and provide a quantity verification inspection on the packing processing. The machine operation control program, which can ensure the optimal inspection image to match the scan speed, was developed and the control program that can process the user gui and the vision image utilizing the control was developed. Overall, a mechanical system that is practicable for obtaining an image and processing the vision data was designed.

Development of the Automated Ultrasonic Testing System for Inspection of the flaw in the Socket Weldment (소켓 용접부 결함 검사용 초음파 자동 검사 장비 개발)

  • Socket weldment used to change the flow direction of fluid nay have flaws such as lack of fusion and cracks. Liquid penetrant testing or Radiography testing have been applied as NDT methods for flaw detection of the socket weldment. But it is difficult to detect the flaw inside of the socket weldment with these methods. In order to inspect the flaws inside the socket weldment, a ultrasonic testing method is established and a ultrasonic transducer and automated ultrasonic testing system are developed for the inspection. The automated ultrasonic testing system is based on the portable personal computer and operated by the program based Windows 98 or 2000. The system has a pulser/receiver, 100MHz high speed A/D board, and basic functions of ultrasonic flaw detector using the program. For the automated testing, motion controller board of ISA interface type is developed to control the 4-axis scanner and a real time iC-scan image of the automated testing is displayed on the monitor. A flaws with the size of less than 1mm in depth are evaluated smaller than its actual site in the testing, but the flaws larger than 1mm appear larger than its actual size on the contrary. This tendency is shown to be increasing as the flaw size increases. h reliable and objective testing results are obtained with the developed system, so that it is expected that it can contribute to safety management and detection of repair position of pipe lines of nuclear power plants and chemical plants.
