수직적 거래관계의 불공정성에 관한 연구;제조업자와 유통업자 관계를 중심으로

  • 본 연구는 수직적 유통거래 관계에서 거래의 불공정성을 발생시키는 선행요인과 결과요인에 관한 모형을 겁증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 기존 연구를 바탕으로 거래의 불공정성의 개념을 도입하고, 실증적으로 검증하여 향후 거래의 불공정성 연구에 응용될 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 또한 시장지배력이론과 거래비용이론을 적용시킴으로서 거래의 불공정성에 대한 보다 폭넓은 이해를 위해 노력하였다. 이러한 연구목적 달성을 위하여 문헌연구를 통해 가설을 도출하였으며, 국내 소비재 제조기업 표본 258를 대상으로 실증분석을 하였다. 제조업체의 브랜드 자산이 높을수록, 거래의 불공정성은 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 제조업체와 유통업체간의 상대적 의존성이 높을수록 거래의 불공정성은 증가할 것이라고 결과가 도출되었고, 마케팅협력정도가 높을수록 거래의 불공정성은 감소할 것이라고 나타났다. 거래의 불공정성이 증가할수록 관계지속기대감은 감소할 것이며, 거래의 불공정성이 증가할수록 신뢰는 감소할 것이라는 결과가 도출되었다. 연구결과를 기반으로 본 연구는 이론적 시사점, 실무적 시사점, 연구의 한계점 그리고 미래 연구방향에 대하여 논의하였다.

  • While the way broadcasting contents are made has changed drastically, some conflicts appear to remain unchanged. And they are about allegedly unfair practices. The whole arguments may even be deemed natural to a certain degree, considering the characteristics of the overall creative industry. But it needs to be highlighted the conflicts are being aggravated both in drama and non-drama production industries for different reasons. The drama side of the issue comes from how the project-based organizations are organized, and will be resolved if broadcasting companies do not send over their directors. On the other hand, the non-drama side's issues are about the complaints that outsourcing production companies have about the production cost. In general, due largely to the genre's relatively weak power to generate revenue, the producers do not get the upper hand when it comes to the negotiations over financial matters.

Unfairness of Congestion Control for Point-to-Multipoint Connections on ATM (ATM 상의 다중점 연결을 위한 폭주 제어 기법의 불공정성)

  • The methods of providing available bandwidth adaptively using feedback to maximize the utilization of network as well as the quality of service have been the focus of recent research activities for ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode). This study has been extended from the point-to-point connection to a point-to-multipoint environment as the number of applications requiring multicast service increases. It is known that the effectiveness of feedback based congestion control scheme diminishes as propagation delay increases. Especially for a multicast connection consisting of various paths and destinations with different performance and congestion status, the problem of unfairness due to different propagation delays may occur. The degree of such unfairness may change depending on various aspects of congestion control schemes. These has been, however, relatively little study on these problems. In this paper, we present how various aspects of control schemes-length of the interval between feedback generations, point of time to coalesce feedback cells from child paths, decreasing factor of source rate in case of congestion-affect the degree of unfairness. Simulation results show that degree of unfairness changes according to when the feedback coalescing happens. Expecially it is shown that the effect of feedback coalescing time to the degree of unfairness is more significant for the smaller feedback interval. It is also found that as the source rate decreasing factor becomes larger the average ACR(Allowed Cell Rate) at the source gets lower and the degree of unfairness grow larger.

  • This paper critically examines the role performance of local distributors within the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) model, while also considering the moderating influence of market competition on the organism (O) and response (R) elements. Adopting a holistic approach, the SOR model provides a comprehensive framework for analyzing how external stimuli, including distributive, procedural, and interaction unfairness, interact with internal psychological processes, such as perceived unfairness, to shape the long-term orientation of importing agents. Moreover, this study acknowledges the pivotal role of market competition in the operational context of local distributors. It posits that competitive market dynamics play a crucial role in intensifying the relationship between behavioral factors and the long-term orientation of distributors, thereby revealing contingent effects within the SOR model. Through the exploration of these dynamics, this study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the interplay among external stimuli, internal psychological processes, and market competition within the SOR framework, advancing our knowledge in this field.

A Study on the Unfairness of Adhesion Contracts for Internet Contents Service (인터넷 콘텐츠서비스 이용약관의 불공정성 검토에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the unfairness of adhesion contracts for internet contents service. The internet contents were classified into six types of avatar, learning, download, e-book and movie internet sites. The adhesion contracts of internet contents service were collected in 60 internet sites. The unfairness of the adhesion contract was reviewed under the adhesion contract regulation act. The major results were as follows. First, the obligation of clear statement, explanation, and delivery was not observed completely. Second, many articles of adhesion contract were unfair and they especially violated articles 7 and 9. Therefore, the standard adhesion contract system for internet content service should be enforced and self-regulation of information service providers is needed.

  • 온라인 퀴즈 쇼와 같은 게임에서 참여자들의 서로 다른 망 환경과 컴퓨팅 환경으로 인해 공정성을 보장할 수 없는 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 환경의 차이로 인한 불공정성을 개선할 수 있는 게임 진행 시나리오를 소개한다. 제안한 시나리오에서는 클라이언트에서 질문이 도착하면, 질문 도착 시간을 저장하고, 사용자가 응답을 하는 경우, 사용자의 답과 질문 도착 후 경과된 시간을 같이 서버에게 전달하고, 서버에서는 응답이 도착한 순서가 아닌, 질문에 대한 응답을 만들어낸 소요 시간을 기준으로 승자를 판정하도록 하여 망 환경과 연산 환경의 차이로 인한 불공정성을 제거한다.

A New Congestion Control Algorithm for Improving Fairness in TCP Vegas (TCP Vegas에서 공정성 향상을 위한 혼잡제어 알고리즘)

  • An important factor influencing the robustness of the Internet is the end-to-end TCP congestion control. However, the congestion control scheme of TCP Reno, the most popular TCP version on the Internet, employs passive congestion indication. It makes the network congestion worse. Brakmo and Peterson proposed a congestion control algorithm, TCP Vegas, by modifying the congestion avoidance scheme of TCP Reno. Many studies indicate that Vegas is able to achieve better throughput and higher stability than Reno. But there are three unfairness problems in Vegas. These problems hinder the spread of Vegas in the current Internet. In this paper, in order to solve these unfairness problems, we propose a new congestion control algorithm called TCP NewVegas. The proposed NewVegas is able to solve these unfairness problems effectively by using the variation of the number of queued packets in a bottleneck router. To evaluate the proposed approach, we compare the performance among NewVegas, Reno and Vegas. Through the simulation, NewVegas is shown to be able to achieve throughput and better fairness than Vegas.

Influence of Distributive Injustice and Relation Conflict on Knowledge Hoarding: Role of Sensitivity to Incentive and Task Interdependence (분배 불공정성과 관계 갈등이 지식축적에 미치는 영향: 인센티브 민감성 및 업무 의존도의 역할)

  • In light of the COVID-19 incident, organizations have recognized the importance of systematically managing knowledge resources to enhance work efficiency and performance within the organization. We have adopted the perspective of knowledge hoarding, which entails the ownership of individual knowledge, and aim to elucidate the underlying mechanisms that contribute to knowledge hoarding by considering the organizational environment, personal characteristics, and task characteristics. To test our hypothesis, we conducted a survey among employees working in companies that have implemented knowledge management policies or systems. We obtained a total of 381 samples, which were analyzed using AMOS 22.0 and Process 3.1 macros. Our findings reveal that distributive injustice leads to conflicts relationships and subsequently increases individual knowledge hoarding. Furthermore, we found that sensitivity to incentive interacts with distributive injustice, further exacerbating knowledge hoarding. Conversely, task interdependence mitigates knowledge hoarding by interacting with distributive injustice and relation conflict. These results contribute to the development of effective organizational knowledge management strategies aimed at curbing knowledge hoarding within the organization.

A Congestion Control Algorithm for the fairness Improvement of TCP Vegas (TCP Vegas의 공정성 향상을 위한 혼잡 제어 알고리즘)

Recently, Brakmo and Peterson have proposed a new version of TCP, which is named TCP Vegas, with a fundamentally different congestion control scheme from that of the Reno. Many studies indicate that the Vegas is able to achieve better throughput and higher stability than the Reno. But there are two unfairness problems in Vegas. These problems hinder the spread of the Vegas in current Internet. In this paper, in order to solve these unfairness problems, we propose a new congestion control algorithm called TCP PowerVegas. The existing Vegas depends mainly only on the rtt(round trip time), but the proposed PowerVegas use the new congestion control scheme combined the Information on the rtt with the information on the packet loss. Therefore the PowerVegas performs the congestion control more competitively than the Vegas. Thus, the PowerVegas is able to solve effectively these unfairness problems which the Vegas has experienced. To evaluate the proposed approach, we compare the performance among PowerVegas, Reno and Vegas under same network environment. Using simulation, the PowerVegas is able to achieve better throughput and higher stability than the Reno and is shown to achieve much better fairness than the existing Vegas.

Fair Multicast Congestion Control Mechanism based on the Designated Server (지정된 서버를 이용한 공정한 멀티캐스트 혼잡 제어 메커니즘)

  • 일 대 다수의 정보를 전송하는데 있어서 멀티캐스트는 네트웍의 자원을 절약할 수 있고 송신자의 부하를 감소시킬 수 있는 등 여러 가지 장점을 제공한다. 그러나, 그것을 효율적으로 실현시키기 위한 확장성 문제와 더불어 혼잡 제어를 통한 기존 인터넷 트래픽과의 공존성 문제를 주의 깊게 다루어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 지정된 서버(Designated Server)를 이용하여 혼잡 제어 방식에 있어서 기존 인터넷 트래픽과 자원을 공평하게 나누어 사용하며, 멀티캐스트 특성상 나타날 수 있는 수신자들의 불공정성 문제를 해결함으로써 보다 효율적인 정보전송이 이루어지도록 하였다.
