The Odesan Gneiss Complex consists of mainly migmatitic gneiss and porphyroblastic gneiss with locally intercated quartzite, amphibolite, marble and leucocratic gneiss. At least two different regional metamorphisms are recognized in the study area. Metamorphic grade of the first metamorphism increases from the K-feldspar-muscovite zone(in which biotite-muscovite-plagioclase-quartz and garnet-biotite-muscovite-K-feldspar-plagioclase-quartz assemblages occur) in the east and southwestern part of the study area to the K-feldspar-garnet zone(in which garnet-biotite-K-feldspar-plagioclase-quartz, biotite-K-feldspar-plagioclase-quartz, garnet-biotite-K-feldspar-plagioclase-sillimanite-spinel-quartz assemblages occur) in the northwestern part. Kyanite is found as inclusions in plagioclase. The second metamorphism is characterised by occurrence of cordierite. The metamorphic grade of 2nd metamorphism decreases radically from the central-western part near Gaeinsan in which cordierite-garnet-sillimanite-biotite-muscovite-quartz, cordierite-garnet-spinel-sillimanite-biotite-muscovite-quartz assemblages representing the garnet-cordierite zone are observed. The garnet-cordierite zone is surrounded by the sillimanite-cordierite zone which shows cordierite-sillimanite-biotite-plagioclase, cordierite-muscovite-biotite-plagioclase and sillimanite-muscovite-biotite-plagioclase assemblages. The peak metamorphic P-T conditions of the first metamorphism calcuted from garnet-biotite-sillimanite-K-feldspar-plagioclase-spinel assemblage are 5.4~7.4 kb and $776-789^{\circ}C$. Real P-T condition of the first metamorphism might be higher than the calcuated P-T condition according to the study based on the phase equilibria. P-T conditions calcuated from the garnet-biotite in plagioclase are 12.5kb and $650^{\circ}C$ which indicate that the P-T path of the first metamorphism had passed a high pressure condition before the peak metamorphic temperature condition. The peak metamorphic P-T conditions of the second metamorphism calcuated from garnet-biotite-cordierite-spinel-quartz assemblage are $680~750^{\circ}C$ at pressures lower than 6 kb. In the Odesan Gneiss Complex, the first metamorphism of medium pressure and high temperature had occurred after the high pressure condition and fast uplift and then the second metamorphism of low pressure condition occurred after sedimentation of the Kuryong Group.

In order to determine the removal efficiency of pesticide residues on apples by ultrasonic cleaner, apples(Fuji var.) were artificially treated by dipping in water solution of fenitrothion EC, chlorpyrifos EC and phenthoate EC. The treated apples were washed by the ultrasonic cleaner with water, 30% ethanol solution or 0.2% detergent solution, respectively. The removal efficiency of fenitrothion, chlorpyrifos and phent-hoate by ultrasonicated washing in water for 0.5min. was 39.2%, 32.0% and 50.4%, respectively, but there was a tendency to decrease the removal efficiency of the pesticide residues as the duration of ultrasonicated washing period is increased. The maximum removal efficiency of the pesticide residues washed in the detergent solution was observed by ultrasonicated washing the samples for 5min. and it was recorded as 33.5% ; fenitrothion, 30.1% ; chlorpyrifos and 48.3% ; phenthoate, respectively. However it's appeared that the longer the ultrasonicated washing period in 30% ethanol solution the more pesticides from the apples were removed and the maximum removal efficiency of the pesticides was recorded as 66.2%(fenitrothion ; washed for 15min.), 41.7%(chlorpyrifos ; washed for 10min.), 74.2%(phenthoate ; washed for 10min.).

대형선박이 접안하여 하역작업을 수행하는 동해안의 산업항중 포항신항에서는 과거의 연구나 한국해양연구소의 현장관측(건설부, 1987; 강 등, 1989)을 통하여 다양한 주기의 부진동이 존재함이 밝혀졌으며, 검조소가 없는 동해항의 인근에 위치한 묵호항의 검조기록을 검토한 결과 10분대의 장주기 부진동이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다.(중략)

천해역에서 관찰되는 장주기파는 발생 기구에 따라서 surf beat, setdown wave, locked wave, 또는 Far-infra-gravity wave 등으로 다양하게 불리 우며, 모두 0.5-수 분대의 주기를 갖는다. 이들은 정의에 따라 약간씩 다르기는 하지만 모두 계류된 선박의 동요뿐만 아니라 해안선 침식과도 밀접한 관련이 있다는 것이 일반적으로 인정되고있다(가등 등, 1989). (중략)

감포남서부 효동리일대는 효동리 화산암류(다데이와, 1924)로 보고된 바 있으나, 야외조사결과 경상계 퇴적암, 화산쇄설암류, 안산암류, 데사이트류, 석영장석반암류, 유문암류 그리고 염기성 암맥류로 구분될 수 있다. 경상계 퇴적암은 최하부층으로서 대체로 완만한 경사를 이루며 주로 셰일로 구성되며 일부 사암이 발달한다 화산쇄설암류는 가장 넓게 분포되며, 쇄설물의 크기에 따라 부분적으로 분대되기도 하나, 대부분 연속성이 빈약한 편이다. (중략)

The purpose of this study was to purify epidermal growth factor(EGF) as growth factor from human colostrum. The effects of purified EGF fraction were directly related to the growth of cells. Results were as follows; After eliminated fat from colostrum, skim milk was obtained. We obtained the EGF fraction by performing ultrafiltration and gel filtration, and then were convicted by SDS-PAGE. The result of analysis of purified EGF fraction by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) was shown a peak at 31.185 min period. And it was similar with standard EGF that was shown a peak at 31.545 min. 10 ng of EGF was contained in 10 mg/mL through immunoassay to measure EGF content from isolated fraction. After SDS-PAGE, isolation degree of purified fraction was convicted through western blotting. BALB/3T3 cell was the most effectively stimulated and proliferated at 1 mg/mL concentration of the purified EGF fraction and percentage of cell proliferation was about 95%. In the case of IEC-6 cell, that was about 71%.

In the study area Uanggunbong-Samgunri area), Precambrian metamorphic complex, (Taebacksan gneiss complex, Hyundong gneiss complex, and Taebacksan schist complex) had undergone three different regional metamorphisms at least before Paleozoic. The Paleozoic sediments in the study area also had undergone three different metamorphisms at least. The first is low pressure type regional metamorphism, the second is low pressure type contact metamorphism due to the intrusion of Chunyang granite, and the last is medium pressure type metamorphism caused by thrust in south of Janggunbong area. The first metamorphism formed the prevailing metamorphic zones in the Paleozoic metasediments and the metamorphic grade of the first regional metamorphism increases from the chloritoid zone, through the staurolite zone, garnet zone, staurolite+biotite zone, and to the andalusite+biotite zone. The second metamorphism affected both Pre-Cambrian and Paleozoic metasediments located close to the Chunyang granite. The effect of the contact metamorphism is restricted to the very narrow zone around the granite. The third metamorphism that produced kyanite, is restricted to the very narrow region near the thrust fault in the south of Janggunbong with an E-W trend.

Saponin is one of major conponents in oriental medicine, which':s present in Ophiopogoneae. Saponin composition on ethyl acetate fractions from the butanolic extracts of two species, Liriope platyphylla and Ophiopogon japonicus was measured using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). HPLC analysis revealed that spicatoside A and B were identified in the tuber of L. platyphylla. However, spicatoside A was not identified in the tuber of O. japonicus. Related to that, it may be possible to discriminate between Liriopis and Ophiopogonis Tuber using HPLC analysis.

애니메이션 편성시간대를 6시대에서 4시30분대로 옮기려는 KBS의 시도가 업계의 거센 반발에 직면해 일단 무산되기는 했지만, 애니메이션 방영시간의 안정적인 확보를 위해서는 현행 방송법을 개정해야 한다는 목소리가 높아지고 있다. 이를 위해 애니메이션 제작자협회 · 애니메이션예술인협회 · 만화애니메이션학회 · 출판만화협회 · 우리만화연대 · 만화가협회 등 6개 관련 단체와 만화가 등 애니메이션 업계는‘방송용 애니메이션 발전전략 촉구 및 개정을 위한 범 만화 · 애니메이션계 공동대책위원회’를 발족, 애니메이션 발전을 위한 대책 강구에 나서고 있다. 공대위는 지난해 11월 초에는 방송 애니메이션 총량제를 강화한 방송법 개정안의 연내 통과와 방송사의 애니메이션 편성 정책 시정을 촉구하는 집회도 열며 총력전을 벌이고 있다. 하지만 지난해내 입법화를 기대했던 애니총량제는 방송법 개정 지연으로 불투명해진데다 최근 들어 중국 · 일본 정부가 강도 높은 애니메이션 육성책을 추진하고 있을 뿐 아니라 제4차 일본 문화개방도 이어지고 있어 국내 애니 업계의 위기감은 더욱 거세지고 있다. 신성장산업인 애니메이션 산업 활성화를 위해서는 애니총량제 등의 법 · 제도적 장치가 마련돼지 않으면 국내 애니메이션 산업은 더욱 깊은 수렁으로 빠질 것이라 게 업계의 공통된 시각이다.

양파 조미액으로부터 ACE 저해활성 물질을 분리하기 위해 hexane, ethylether, ethylacetate, butanol과 물로 분획시, 4.8g의 당 함량과 31.9 mg의 phenol성 물질을 함유한 butanol 분획이 82.1%의 ACE 저해활성을 나타내었고, 70.3%의 ACE 저해활성을 보인 양퍄 조미액보다 높은 저해활성을 보였다. Butanol 분획을 Amberite XAD-2column으로 분리한 결과, ACE 저해활성을 보이는 미흡착 분획(F1)를 얻었다. 활성분획 F1을 Sephadex LH-20column으로 분획한 결과, 4개(F1-1,F1-2,F1-3,F1-4)의 분획을 얻었으며, 이중 F1-3 분획의 ACE 저해활성은 93%로 가장 높은 저해활성을 보였다. Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography에 의해 얻어진 활성분획F1-3을 Supercosil LC-18 column을 이용하여 분리한 결과, 6분대에서 ACE 저해활성을 가지는 단일 peak(F1-3a)를 얻었다. 각 정제 과정에서 얻은 분획들은 전형적인 flavonoid의 band I과 bandII의 피크를 보였다. 또한 ACE에 대한 저해기작은 flavonoid 물질이 보이는 전형적인 비경쟁적 저해양상을 보였다.
