  • We analyze the accuracy of emotion analysis of natural language processing deep learning model and propose to use it for emotional content development. After looking at the outline of the GPT-3 model, about 6,000 pieces of dialogue data provided by Aihub were input to 9 emotion categories: 'joy', 'sadness', 'fear', 'anger', 'disgust', and 'surprise'. ', 'interest', 'boredom', and 'pain'. Performance evaluation was conducted using the evaluation indices of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, which are evaluation methods for natural language processing models. As a result of the emotion analysis, the accuracy was over 91%, and in the case of precision, 'fear' and 'pain' showed low values. In the case of reproducibility, a low value was shown in negative emotions, and in the case of 'disgust' in particular, an error appeared due to the lack of data. In the case of previous studies, emotion analysis was mainly used only for polarity analysis divided into positive, negative, and neutral, and there was a limitation in that it was used only in the feedback stage due to its nature. We expand emotion analysis into 9 categories and suggest its use in the development of emotional content considering it from the planning stage. It is expected that more accurate results can be obtained if emotion analysis is performed by additionally collecting more diverse daily conversations through follow-up research.

  • This study aimed to expand and reconstruct the Driving Behavior Determinants' factors in order to confirm the relationship between Driving Behavior Determinants(DBD) and drivers' reckless driving behavior level. To expand the structure of DBD, drivers anger, introversion and type A characteristics were added, which were never considered as related factors in existing DBD studies before. The correlations between the new factors of DBD and reckless driving behavior(includes driver's personal records of driving experiences for the last three years) were verified. A factor analysis result showed us that new DBD questionnaire consists of five factors such as, 'Problem Evading', 'Benefits/Sensation Seeking', 'Anti-personal Anxiety', 'Anti-personal Anger', and 'Aggression'. Also, reckless driving behavior consists of 'Speeding', 'Inexperienced Coping', 'Wild Driving', 'Drunken Driving', and 'Distraction'. The result of correlation between the DBD and reckless driving behavior indicates that inappropriate level of DBD is highly correlated with dangerous driving behavior and strong possibilities of traffic accidents. Based on these results, we might be able to discriminate drivers according to DBD level and predict their reckless driving behavior through a standardization procedure. Futhermore, this will make us to provide drivers differentiated safety education service.

  • Individuals with social anxiety disorders tend to hold attentional bias toward threatening stimuli in social contexts regardless of task relevance. Although attentional bias is relatively consistent, findings on memory performance are mixed. This study examined attentional and memory biases toward threat stimuli in individuals with high levels of social anxiety. Participants included 19 individuals with high social anxiety (HSA) and another 20 individuals with low social anxiety (LSA). They performed a continuous attention task to measure attentional bias to threat. Afterward, they performed an unexpected memory task using distracting stimuli from the previous attention task to measure memory bias to task-irrelevant threatening stimuli. The results indicated that the HSA and LSA groups exhibited an initial attentional bias toward emotional faces. However, only the HSA group displayed prolonged attentional bias and demonstrated memory bias toward angry faces. Conversely, the LSA group exhibited attentional bias toward happy faces after 4 s. The findings imply that the absence of bias toward positive stimuli and the presence of bias toward negative stimuli may contribute to the maintenance and severity of social anxiety pathology.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the relations between 6th graders' negative cognitive process and anger experience and aggressiveness. To achieve the goal, it conducted a test to examine children's negative cognitive process, anger experience, aggressiveness targeting 100 children of 6th grade in C elementary school, Gyeonggj province. Then it conducted SPSS 12.0 statistical program to get the results of correlation analysis and regression analysis. The outcomes were as follows. First, there was a meaningfully positive relation between a negative cognitive process and anger experience. In other words, children having more negative cognitive process seemed to experience the feelings of anger more often, this presented the important role of cognition while getting into a temper Second, it reported a positive relation between anger experience and aggressiveness. Children who have experienced anger more often showed more violent behaviors, especially there were more significant positive relations between trait-anger and aggressiveness compared to state-anger and aggressiveness. This could explain some possibilities that children with high level of trait-anger might outrage more often than others by recognizing the situations as anger stimulants. Third, when conducting a regression analysis, a negative cognitive process made an effect on anger experience which affected aggressiveness. However, it did not show a negative cognitive process making a direct effect on aggressiveness. This is considered that children could experience an anger while evaluating an event or object in a negative way based on individual belief, and emotional linguistic behavioral aggressiveness would be formalized as they express the sparked fury either internally or externally. In conclusion, this study proved that there were close relations between children's negative cognitive process and anger experience and aggressiveness. A negative cognitive process affects anger experience, and anger experience affects aggressiveness afterwards. A negative cognitive process affects aggressiveness through anger experience indirectly, and especially trait-anger among anger experience is the main factor to influence on aggressiveness. With consideration of these results, it is believed that mediation is important key to moderate the negative cognition and trait-anger in order to diminish children's aggressive behaviors. This study has a meaning to provide searching for manifold mediating methods between negative cognition and trait anger, with a fundamental resource.

  • In Korea, video-based news broadcasters are primarily classified into terrestrial broadcasters, general programming cable broadcasters and YouTube broadcasters. Recently, news broadcasters get subjective while targeting the desired specific audience. This violates normative expectations of impartiality and neutrality on journalism from its audience. This phenomenon may have a negative impact on audience perceptions of issues. This study examined whether broadcast news reporting conveys emotions and if so, how news broadcasters differ according to emotion type. Emotion types were classified into neutrality, happiness, sadness and anger using a convolutional neural network which is a class of deep neural networks. Results showed that news anchors or reporters tend to express their emotions during TV broadcasts regardless of broadcast systems. This study provides the first quantative investigation of emotions in broadcasting news. In addition, this study is the first deep learning-based approach to emotion analysis of broadcasting news.
