  • 배에서는 부식과 쇠모 현상이 해상 상태와 주변 환경에 의해 성장하게 되면 파구가 생기면서 이로 인해 해난 사고의 원천적인 원인이 된다는 사실을 여기서 예를 들어서 기술했다. 이런 이 유로부터 어떤 방법을 사용하든 간에 배의 방식에 관한 배려가 충분히 이루어져야만 하겠으며 그리고 배에서 방식에 대해 어느 정도의 Cost가 들었는가가 배의 경제적인 가치를 좌우한다고 본다. 즉 배에서는 반드시 신조시에는 충분한 방식 대책을 강구를 해서 적절한 보수 관리를 행 하는 방법이 초기 투자액을 확보하는 것보다도 안정성에 부가해서 경제적으로도 상당히 유리하 다는 사실이 상기의 사실로부터 알 수가 있다. 방식 시방도 경년의 열화 현상으로 인해서 산만 해짐이 상당히 큰데 이것도 취항후의 방식 관리에 의존케 되지만 신조시의 방식 검사의 중요성을 충분히 인식하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 그리고 '개발중인 방법'은 일반적인 방법이 아니기 때문에 앞으로 많은 연구가 있어야 하겠다.

CMP Properties of TCO Film by kind of Slurry (슬러리 종류에 따른 투명전도박막의 연마특성)

  • 본 논문에서는 투명전도박막의 균일한 표면특성을 확보하기 위해 광역평탄화 공정을 적용하여 투명전도 박막의 표면 거칠기를 연구하였으며 슬러리의 종류에 따른 박막의 연마특성을 연구하였다. 본 실험에서 사용된 ITO 박막은 RF Sputtering에 의해 제작되었고 하부 기판은 석영 Glass가 사용되었다. 광역평탄화를 위한 CMP 공정은 고분자 물질계열의 패드위에 슬러리입자를 공급하고 웨이퍼 캐리어에 하중을 가하며 웨이퍼의 표면을 연마하는 방법으로 가공물을 탄성패드에 누르면서 상대 운동시켜 가공물과 친화력이 우수한 부식액으로 화학적 제거를 함과 동시에 초미립자로 기계적 제거를 하는 것이다. ITO 박막의 평탄화를 위한 공정조건은 Polisher pressure 300 g/$cm^2$, 슬러리 유속 80 ml/min, 플레이튼속도 60 rpm으로 하였다. 위의 조건에 따라 공정을 진행 후 연마특성을 측정하였으며 이때 사용된 슬러리는 산화막에 사용되는 실리카슬러리와 금속연마용 슬러리인 EPL을 사용하였다. 연마율은 실리카 슬러리가 EPL슬러리에 비해 높음을 확인 하였다. CMP 공정에 의해 평탄화를 수행 할 경우 실리카슬러리와 EPL슬러리 모두 CMP전에 비해 돌출된 힐록들이 감소되었음을 알 수 있었다. 비균일도 특성은 모든 슬러리가 양호한 특성을 나타내었다. 평탄화된 박막의 표면과 거칠기 특성은 AFM(XE-200, PSIA Company) 을 이용하여 분석을 하였다.

Survey of nitroso-compounds level derived from additives in metal-working fluids (유통 수용성 금속가공유 중 니트로 화합물 함유 실태)

  • Nitrite which can be derived from water for dilution of metal working fluid can induce nitroso compounds which can be classified as carcinogen, if it co-exists with ethanolamines added for pH control in metal working fluid. The survey of nitrite, nitrate and nitroso-compounds level in 42 metal-working fluids collected from 17 factories was done by ion chromatography and gas chromatography with mass detector. Diluted metal working fluid showed higher level of nitrite and nitrate compared with raw fluid. Nitrite was detected in 11 (52%) samples among 21 diluted solution. Three (14%) samples showed over German recommendation level ($20{\mu}g/mL$).N-nitrosodiethanolamine(NDELA) was detected in 18 samples among 21 diluted solution. Seven (33%) samples showed over German recommendation level ($5{\mu}g/mL$). The concentration of NDELA was correlated with nitrite ion ($R^2=0.453$, n=19).

  • The electrodeposition of Zn on the automotive parts has been adapted However, because Zn electrodeposit needs to increase thickness for corrosion protection, it has problem of destruction of electrodeposit Zn-based electrodeposit have teen studied for corrosion protection and decreasing electrodeposit thickness. Especially; Zn-Co electrodeposit have much attention In this study, the Composition of Zn-Co electrodeposit in various manufacturing condition such as temperature, current density and electrolyte content was investigated to understand effect of electrolysis condition on Co content of specimen. The results were explained by cathode overvoltage and diffusion coefficient. As the current density increases, the electrolyte temperature decreases, and as the electrolyte concentration decreases, the overvoltage of the cathode increases. As the overvoltage of the cathode increases, the concentration polarization becomes more important than the activation polarization. Concentration polarization is determined by the diffusion of the mass transfer in the diffusion layer. In a constant concentration polarization, a large amount of elements with a large diffusion coefficient is diffused. That is, as the overvoltage of the cathode increases, the Zn content having a large diffusion coefficient increases.

Biocontrol of Cabbage Clubroot by the Organic Fertilizer Using Streptomyces sp. AC-3. (Streptomyces sp. AC-3을 이용한 배추 무사마귀병의 생물학적 방제)

  • This research is performed for a biological control of Chinese cabbage clubroot, we isolated an antagonistic bacterium AC-3 against Plasmodiophora sp., causal pathogens of cabbage clubroot. The isolated strain was identified as Streptomyces sp. by culture morphology, biochemical reactions, and homology research based on l6S rDNA sequences. Streptomyces sp. AC-3 produced chitinase (9.3 units/$m\ell$) in culture broth. So Plasmodiophora sp. mycelia changed abnonnal swelling, curling and branching mycelia by Streptomyces sp. AC-3 culture. In a field infected by Plasmodiophora sp., the treatment of a organic fertilizer added 2% Streptomyces sp. AC-3 microbial inoculant, it resulted in about 50% reducing the severity of cabbage clubroot significantly on cabbage plants compared with treated organic fertilizer plants. Additional disease such as sclerotinia rot, fusarium wilt and pythium rot were also significantly reduced by the treatment of the organic fertilizer added Streptomyces sp. AC-3 microbial inoculant.

An in vitro study of a few crystal growth solutions on the bracket shear bond strength (수종의 실험 결정형성용액에 의한 브라켓 전단결합강도의 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the bracket shear bond strengths of the crystal growth solutions with those of the $37\%$ phosphric acid etch technique. The 4 crystal growth solutions were made experimentally in the lab, that is, (1) $30\%$ polyacrylic acid solution containing 0.3 M sulfuric acid (ES 1), (2) $30\%$ polyacrylic acid solution containing 0.6M sulfuric acid (ES 2), (3) $30\%$ polyacrylic acid solution containing 0.3 M sulfuric acid and 0.6 M lithium sulfate(ES 3), and (4) $30\%$ polyacrlic acid solution containing 0.3 M sulfuric acid and $5\%$ phosphoric acid(ES4). The $37\%$ phosphoric acid solution used as a control. Bovine lower incisor tooth enamel was treated by the above solutions for 60 sec, washed out for 20 sec with slow water stream, and bonded lower anterior edgewise bracket with the light curing orthodontic composite resin adhesives. The teeth bonded brackets were stored in the distilled water at room temperature for 24 h, and followed to test the bracket shear bond strength. The acid etch technque showed 177.6 kg/$cm^2$ of mean shear bond strength which was the highest among the enamel treatment solutions. ES 1 shown 58.4 kg/$cm^2$ of mean shear bond strength and that of ES 4 showed 66.5 kg/$cm^2$. There was no significant difference between the two(p>0.05). ES2 showed 110.6kg/$cm^2$ of mean shear bond strength which was $62.3\%$ of that of acid etch technique. ES 3 showed 131.1 kg/$cm^2$ of mean shear bond strength which was the highest among experimental crystal growth solutions and which was $74\%$ of that of acid etch technique. The shear bond strengths of the crystal growth solutions were significantly lower that that of acid etch technique(p<0.05). The results sugest that although bracket shear bond strength of $30\%$ polyacrylic acid solution containing 0.3M sulfuric acid and 0.6 M lithium sulfate were showed the highest, it is low for the clinical application of this solution.

  • This study was aimed to develop an instrument for real-time measurement of fluid conductance and to investigate the hydrodynamics of dentinal fluid. The instrument consisted of three parts; (1) a glass capillary and a photo sensor for detection of fluid movement, (2) a servo-motor, a lead screw and a ball nut for tracking of fluid movement, (3) a rotary encoder and software for data processing. To observe the blocking effect of dentinal fluid movement, oxalate gel and self-etch adhesive agent were used. BisBlock (Bisco) and Clearfil SE Bond (Kuraray) were applied to the occlusal dentin surface of extracted human teeth. Using this new device, the fluid movement was measured and compared between before and after each agent was applied. The instrument was able to measure dentinal fluid movement with a high resolution (0.196 nL) and the flow occurred with a rate of 0.84 to 15.2 nL/s before treatment. After BisBlock or Clearfil SE Bond was used, the fluid movement was decreased by 39.8 to 89.6%.

The Effects of Barley Straw on the Eluviation of Components in the Submerged Paddy Soil (보릿짚시용(施用)이 논 토양성분(土壤成分)의 용탈(溶脫)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effects of barley straw application on the eluviation of components in submerged paddy soil percolated. The chemical components of soil, percolated water and humus fraction were as follows. $NH{^+}_4$-N in percolated water and soil, $NO{^-}_3$- N in soil were not detected after prime tillering stage by absorption of rice plant. Phosphate was not affected by the application but a little amount was eluviated through a whole period. Eluviation phase of $Ca^{{+}{+}}$ was similar to $Mg^{{+}{+}}$ and the changes of $K^+$, $Na^+$ and $Cl^-$ were almost same patterns, whereas the amount of these eluviated elements in plot applied was higher than non-applied. In the plot applied, eluviation of $SO{^{-2}}_4$ was low during the tillering stage but high after heading stage, whereas the whole amount of eluviation was high during the tillering stage. Eluviation of iron in the plot applied was increased rapidly. Humus type was almost same as type B in the plot applied or not after harvest, and contents of humic acid was about 60 percent.

  • This review article summarizes photoelectrochemical water splitting using gallium nitride (GaN). GaN materials have been studied as novel photoelectrode material due to its chemical stability and easy band gap engineering. Unlike other semiconductor materials that are easily corroded in strongly acidic or alkaline electrolyte, n-type GaN is chemically stable enough to be used as photoanode in oxygen evolution reaction. Furthermore, studies on p-type GaN have been recently reported. This review briefly discusses problems that need to be solved before GaN materials find widespread use in solar fuel application.

  • 환경부는 '화학물질의 등록 및 평가 등에 관한 법률(화평법)'과 '화학물질관리법(화관법)' 시행규칙을 공포하고 지난 달부터 시행했다. 환경부에 따르면 두 법안은 화학물질의 체계적인 관리로 사전에 안전사고를 예방하고 국민건강과 환경을 보호하기 위해 제정됐다. 화학물질의 생산 유통 등 모든 과정의 안전관리를 강화하는 것이 골자다. 우선 화평법 시행에 따라 모든 신규 화학물질과 연간 1톤 이상 제조 수입되는 기존 화학물질에 대한 등록이 의무화되고 등록 신청 기준도 강화된다. 다만 제조 수입량이 연간 1톤 미만일 경우 등록 신청 제출 자료를 정식 등록 9개보다 적은 4개로 간소화하고 등록기간도 30일에서 3~7일로 줄였다. 또 유해물질 함유제품으로 인한 피해를 예방하기 위해 생활화학 제품 15종을 우려제품으로 지정해 안전 표시기준을 준수하도록 했다. 관리대상 품목은 세정제 합성세제 표백제 섬유유연제 코팅제 접착제 방향제 탈취제 방청제(금속부식 방지제) 김서림방지제 물체염탈색체 문신용염료 소독제 방충제 방부제 등이다. 화관법에서는 유해 화학물질 취급 때 공통 적용되는 46개 준수사항을 규정하고 물질별로 구체적인 취급기준을 고시하도록 했다. 취급시설의 설치 관리기준도 시설 종류별로 구체화했다. 새로 도입되는 장외 영향평가는 취급시설 설치자가 화학사고 발생 시 사업장 주변지역 사람이나 환경에 미치는 영향을 사전에 평가해 시설을 안전하게 설계 설치하도록 규정했다. 과징금과 행정처분 기준도 구체화했다. 행정처분은 2년 내 위반 횟수에 따라 경고 개선명령 영업정지 허가취소로 차등화하고 사고가 일어나면 사상자와 사업장 밖 피해액을 기준에 따라 산정해야 한다. 본 고에서는 두 법률의 주요 내용과 함께 주요 문의 사항을 살펴봄으로써 이해를 도우고자 했다.
