Reusing Technique of Primitive Motions for Effective Implementation of Complex Action (복합적 행동들을 효율적으로 구현하기 위한 기본 동작의 재활용 기법)

  • Apart from the physical realism, the implementation of various physical actions of an agent to respond to dynamically changing situations is essential for the design of an agent in a cyber world. To achieve a maximum diversity in actions, we develop a mechanism that allows composite actions to be constructed by reusing a set of primitive motions and enables an agent to instantly react to changes in the ambient states. Specifically we model an agent's body in terms of joints, and a primitive or composite motion is performed in a real time. To implement this mechanism, we produce an animation for basic joint movements and develop a method to construct overall motions out of the primitive motions. These motions can be assembled into a plan by which an agent can achieve a goal. In this manner, diverse actions can be implemented without excessive efforts. This approach has conspicuous advantages when constructing a parallel action, e.g., eating while walking, that is, two or more parallel actions can be naturally merged into a parallel action according to their priority. We implement several composite and parallel actions to demonstrate the viability of our approach.

Effects of 12-Week Complex Training Program on Foot-Pressure Patterns of the Elderly Women (12주간 복합운동이 여성 노인의 족저압력에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 12-week complex training program on foot pressure patterns of the elderly women. The training program consisted of aerobic exercise and muscular training for 12 weeks. Two stages of walking were given to the participants before and after treatment: (a) straight walking; and (b) turn at $45^{\circ}$ while walking. Data related to foot-pressure distribution(FPD) while walking were collected from each stage and analyzed. Results indicated that in both stage of walking, the mean of the foot pressure(FP) was significantly reduced after the participation in the program. Results also revealed that in all stages, the patterns of the FPD and the center of pressure(COP) were widely lower and more stable. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that participating in a 12-week complex program bas impact on the gait patterns of the elderly women, reducing the foot pressure on their shoes.

  • 본 논문은 실내 환경에서 스마트 워치(smart watch)를 이용하여 사용자의 원시 데이터를 수집, 가공하고, 이를 통해 사용자의 다양한 복합 동작을 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 사용자의 동작을 인식하는 방법들은 다양하다. 특히 최근 웨어러블 기기(wearable device)들이 각광받으면서 웨어러블 기기를 이용하여 인체 동작이나 활동 상태 등의 생체신호를 인식하려는 다양한 시도가 일어나고 있다. 하지만 동작이나 활동 상태에 관한 많은 연구들이 센서를 허리에 부착하는 등의 특정한 상황만을 상정하거나 위성항법장치(GPS, global positioning system)에 의존한 실외 환경에 국한되어 있는데, 이는 대부분의 시간을 가정과 직장, 이동 수단 등의 실내 환경에서 소비하는 현대인들의 시간 소비 패턴과는 거리가 있다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 워치의 가속도계(accelerometer), 각속도계(gyroscope), 심박계(heart bit), 압력계(barometer) 등 다양한 센서를 통해 원시데이터를 수집, 가공하여 사용자의 앉기, 서기, 오르막이나 내리막의 걷고 뛰기, 계단의 오르내리기 등 실내에서 일어날 수 있는 복합 동작을 인식하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 이 연구에서는 동작 포착 데이터에서 최적의 동작을 얻기 위한 비용과 시간을 줄이고, 캐릭터의 체형 크기에 무관하게 복합 지형에서 적응적인 이동 동작을 빠르고 효율적으로 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 즉 캐릭터의 신장이나 걷는 속도, 걸음폭 등의 매개변수들을 사용하여 평지면, 경사면, 계단면 그리고 굴곡면 등 다양한 지형에서의 달리기 동작을 생성하며 역운동학(Inverse Kinematics) 개념을 적용하여 관절들의 위치나 각도를 산출하고 관절의 이동 궤적을 계산하기 위해 큐빅 스플라인 곡선을 활용한다.

  • This paper analyze the operating characteristic of RCB due to the synthesize harmonic current. The RCB of rated sensitivity electric current with 30[mA] test to operating characteristic by synthesize harmonic current and it analyzed the tripping operation due to a harmonic current. The test result, the operating current of RCB changed by synthesize harmonic current.

  • Coiled polymer actuators fabricated by twisting polymer fishing lines or sewing threads respond to heating and cooling with their contraction and relaxation. However, their actuation speed is highly dependent on the heating and cooling rates. In order to improve the actuation speed, the coiled polymer actuator was coated with polydimethylsiloxane composites. The introduction of multi-walled carbon nanotubes into the polydimethylsiloxane improved the actuation speed by about 13%.

  • This paper analyze the operating characteristic of MCCB due to the synthesize harmonic current. Four types of MCCBs, divided by the type of operation system and a principle of operation, tested with 200[%] of rated current. The test result nuisance tripping did not occur but the time delay characteristic of the hydraulic magnetic type MCCB is appeared. From the place where the synthesize harmonic content is high it is good the hydraulic magnetic type MCCB not to use.

  • In this paper, we propose two CMOS composite transistors with an improved operating region by reducing the threshold voltage. The proposed composite transistorⅠand transistor Ⅱ employ a P-type folded composite transistor and a composite diode in order to decrease the threshold voltage, respectively. The limitation of the operating region of these transistors by current source is described. All circuits are simulated by Hsipice using 0.25㎛ n-well process with 2.5V supply voltage.

  • The purpose of the study was to perform a comparative analysis of the success and failure cases to increase the completeness of vault "Shirai-Kim Hee Hoon" technique. The subject of the study was "K" a male gymnast from Korean Artistic Gymnastic National team. The results obtained through the three-dimensional analysis during international as well as practice session are as follows: Firstly, excluding BC, the lead time in each PrF, HC and PoF phases were shorter during successful trials than in failure trials. Secondly, during successful trials, the horizontal and vertical velocity appeared to be higher during taking off, which contributed positively to the leaping motion in the horizontal direction. Thirdly, when compared with successful and failure trials, the body's angular rotation was highly maintained during the takeoff from the spring board followed by larger thigh angular displacement at the vault before actually attempting the backward rotation.

  • 햅틱장치는 가상환경이나 원거리에 있는 환경과 사용자가 상호 작용할 매 촉감이나 힘을 전달하는 장치이다. 사용자에게 힘을 제시하기 위한 액츄에이터는 모터와 브레이크가 많이 사용되는데, 각각의 특성에 맞게 제어하여 성능과 안정성을 동시에 만족시켜야 한다 모터와 같은 능동 액츄에이터는 토크를 원하는 방향으로 쉽게 출력할 수 있지만, 동작 중 불안정한 상태가 발생할 수 있다. 반면에 브레이크와 같은 수동 액츄에이터는 회전에 반대되는 방향으로만 토크를 발생시킬 수 있지만, 동작 중 에너지를 계속 소모하기 때문에 시스템이 본질적으로 안정하다.(중략)
