In an open environment such as Home Network, ZigBee Cluster comprising a plurality of Ato-cells is required to provide intense security over the movement of collected, measured data. Against this setting, various security issues are currently under discussion concerning master key control policies, Access Control List (ACL), and device sources, which all involve authentication between ZigBee devices. A variety of authentication methods including Hash Chain Method, token-key method, and public key infrastructure, have been previously studied, and some of them have been reflected in standard methods. In this context, this paper aims to explore whether a new method for searching for neighboring devices in order to detect device replications and Sybil attacks can be applied and extended to the field of security. The neighbor detection applied method is a method of authentication in which ACL information of new devices and that of neighbor devices are included and compared, using information on peripheral devices. Accordingly, this new method is designed to implement detection of malicious device attacks such as Sybil attacks and device replications as well as prevention of hacking. In addition, in reference to ITU-T SG17 and ZigBee Pro, the home network equipment, configured to classify the labels and rules into four categories including user's access rights, time, date, and day, is implemented. In closing, the results demonstrates that the proposed method performs significantly well compared to other existing methods in detecting malicious devices in terms of success rate and time taken.
A fingerprint is unique to each person and can be represented as a digital form. As the fingerprint is the part of human body, fingerprint recognition is much more easy to use and secure rather than using password or resident card for user authentication. In addition, as the newly released smart phones have built-in camera and fingerprint sensors, the demand for biometric authentication is increasing rapidly. But, the drawback is that the fingerprint can be counterfeited easily and if it's exposed to the hacker, it cannot be reused. Thus, the original fingerprint template should be transformed for registration and authentication purposes. Existing transformation functions use passcode to transform the original template to the cancelable form. Additional module is needed to input the passcode, so it requires more cost and lowers the usability. In this paper, we propose biometric authentication scheme that is economic and easy to use. The proposed scheme is consisted of cancelable biometric template creation, registration and user authentication protocols, and can control several security levels by configuring the number of fingerprints and scan times. We also analyzed that our scheme is secure against the brute-force attack and the active attacks.

This paper propose a digital watermarking method for digital contents which satisfies both the invisibility and the robustness to attacks to prohibit counterfeiting, modification, illegal usage and illegal re-production of video contents. This watermarking algorithm insert a watermark(digital hologram) by generated using Fresnel transform which improve the robustness. The inserting positions of the watermark choose by considering the frequency property of an image and a watermark. Also the amount of watermarking for watermark bit decide by considering the level of 2DDWT. This algorithm was implemented by C++ and experimented for invisibility and robustness with optical system. The experiment results showed that the method satisfied enough the invisibility of the inserted watermark and robustness against attacks. For the general attacks, the error rate of the extracted watermark was less than 15%, which is enough in robustness against the attacks.
Recently, with the advance of network and internet technologies, it is appeared the Problem that the digital contents such as image, voice and video are illegally pirated and distributed. To protect the copyright of the digital contents, the digital watermarking technology of inserting the provider's information into the contents has been widely used. In this paper, we propose the method of applying the digital watermarking into biometric information such as fingerprint and iris in order to prevent the problem caused by steal and misuse. For that, we propose the method of inserting watermark in frequency domain, compare the recognition performance before and aster watermark inserting. Also, we experiment the robustness of proposed method against blurring attack, which is conventionally taken on biometrics data. Experimental results show that our proposed method can be used for protecting iris and fingerprint data, efficiently.

In order to solve the problems that fingerprinting technologies and image identification technologies for digital music and videos identification scanned have not yet been enough to identify scanned cartoon books, the copyright project granted from the Korea Copyright Commission(Project title: Identification and Copy Protection Technology of Scanned Text/Comic Books) secured basic solutions for scanned cartoon books. The first result of the research project in 2013 was focused on the identification technology applied to abnormally scanned cartoon books. As subsequent research for the project, studies in the year of 2014 has been to provide solutions to identify cartoon books which abnormally scanned and occurred with transformations and distortions and solutions to protect the system from trials to devitalize functions of the identification system through various attacks. This paper is to propose a model for a system for identifying abnormally scanned cartoon books as a way of enhancing the identification rates for identifying abnormal bookscans and transformation attacks.

Generally, watermarking can be used copyright for contents such as audios, videos, images, and texts. With the development of Internet, many malicious attackers illegally copy relational databases synchronized applications Therefore, it is needed for the protection of databases copyright, because databases involve various sensitive information such as personal information, information industry, and secret national intelligence. Thus, the protection of relational databases is a major research field in the databases research topics. In this paper, we will review previous researches related the protection of relational databases and propose new method for relational data. Especially, we propose watermarking scheme for databases using reversible method in this paper. As an experimental result, the proposed scheme is very strong to malicious attacks. In addition, we proved our proposed scheme is to apply real application.
The use of digital imaging technique and digital contents based on internet has grown rapidly for last several years, and the needs of digital image protection become more important. For the purpose of copyright protection on digital image, the verification of authentication techniques like content authentication, ownership authentication, illegal copy and etc are needed. Digital watermarking, the invisible encryption technique to insert digital watermark into image, the sophisticated perceptual information should be used for providing transparency and robustness of images on watermarking process. In this paper, we implement the digital watermarking algorithm for preventing forged attack, ownership protection and authentication by transforming the wavelet algorithms in frequency domain in terms of human visual system.
As the growth of performance of the computer and the development of the Internet are exponential, sharing and using the information illegally have also increased to the same proportion. In this paper, we proposed a novel method on the vector map data among digital contents. Vector map data are used for GIS, navigation and web-based services etc. We embedded watermark into the coordinate of the vector map data using bit operation and extracted the watermark. This method helps to protect the copyright of the vector map data. This watermarking method is a spatial domain method and it embeds the watermark within an allowable error. Our experiment shows that the watermark produced by this method is resistant to simplification and translation.

A computer worm is a standalone malware computer program that probes and exploits vulnerabilities of systems. It replicates and spreads itself to other computers via networks. In this paper, we study how to detect and prevent worms. First, we generated Codered II traffic on the emulated testbed called Deterlab. Then we identified dubious parts using Earlybird and wrote down Snort rules using Wireshark. Finally, by applying the Snort rules to the traffic, we could confirmed that worm detection was successfully done.

This paper proposed a new watermarking algorithm using chaotic sequence instead of conventional M-sequence for protecting copyright to the author. Robustness and security is very important for watermarking process. We use multi-threshold value according to the human visual system for improving robustness of watermarking to each subband images coefficient differently after wavelet transform. And then, we embedded watermark image to original image by multi-watermark weights which are made by random sequence generator. We detect watermark image from the difference data which is made from each wavelet subband images. We also simulate the efficiency from the various possible attacks. Chaotic sequence is better than M-sequence, because the one is very easy to make sequence and the chaotic sequence is changed easy according to the initial value. So, the chaotic sequence has the better security than the conventional M-sequence.
