Systematical Discrimination of Bolt for Maintenance (제품의 유지보수를 위한 볼트 식별체계)

  • In this paper, we analyze the standards of the bolts for maintaining the products. The maintainer don't know the detail information of bolts by seeing the shape of bolts when they repair the products. So they waste much time and cost. To solve the these problem, we propose the new systematical discrimination of bolts. To propose the discrimination code, we divide the shapes of the bolts into four classes(head, internal drive, shank and end). User can fine preferentially similar standards by just the shapes of bolts under the this discrimination code. And, User can find the standards of bolts that they want by using the additional information such as measurements. We will reduce the cost and time for the maintaining the products by using the proposed discrimination code.

  • 기존 정보체계는 사용자 요구와 새로운 기술의 도입으로 급속하게 발전하고 있으며, 정보시스템의 재사용성과 확장성, 유지 보수를 위하여 EJB, COM+, CCM 모델 같은 컴포넌트 기술과 컴포넌트 기반 개발 방법론인 CBD 방법론이 연구되고 있다. 또한 이러한 컴포넌트 기술을 이용한 기존 정보시스템의 변환 연구도 같이 이루어지고 있으며, 대표적인 연구로는 미 국방성의 FACELIFT 프로젝트와 카네기멜론 대학 프로젝트 등이 있다. 반면에 현재의 국내 군 정보시스템은 다양한 플랫폼 및 언어 그리고 업무 지향적인 개발로 인해 자원이 낭비되고, 유지보수가 어려운 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이미 개발되어 운용중인 군 정보시스템을 분석하여 컴포넌트 기술에 의한 웹 환경으로 변환하는 절차를 제시하고, 클라이언트/서버 구조로 운용중인 군인연금서비스시스템의 일부분을 컴포넌트 기술을 이용하여 웹 환경으로 변환하였다.

Methodology of a Probabilistic Pavement Performance Prediction Model Based on the Markov Process (확률적 포장 공용성 예측모델 개발 방법론)

  • Pavement Management System has a special purpose that the rehabilitation strategy applied on pavement should be executable in view of technical and economical point after new pavement open to the traffic. To achieve that purpose, a reliable pavement performance prediction model should be embeded in the system. The object of this study is to develop a probabilistic pavement performance prediction model for evaluating asphalt pavements based on the Markov chain concept. In this paper, methodology of the Markov chain modeling principle is explained, and the application of this model to asphalt pavement is described. As the results, transition matrics for predicting asphalt pavement performance are obtained, and also performance life is estimated quantitatively by this system.

A Efficient Architecture of MBA-based Parallel MAC for High-Speed Digital Signal Processing (고속 디지털 신호처리를 위한 MBA기반 병렬 MAC의 효율적인 구조)

  • In this paper, we proposed a new architecture of MAC(Multiplier-Accumulator) to operate high-speed multiplication-accumulation. We used the MBA(Modified radix-4 Booth Algorithm) which is based on the 1's complement number system, and CSA(Carry Save Adder) for addition of the partial products. During the addition of the partial product, the signed numbers with the 1's complement type after Booth encoding are converted in the 2's complement signed number in the CSA tree. Since 2-bit CLA(Carry Look-ahead Adder) was used in adding the lower bits of the partial product, the input bit width of the final adder and whole delay of the critical path were reduced. The proposed MAC was applied into the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) filtering operation for JPEG2000, and it showed the possibility for the practical application. Finally we identified the improved performance according to the comparison with the previous architecture in the aspect of hardware resource and delay.

  • To operate a large structure or a high-rise building, elevator is essential. Nevertheless, elevator breakdowns or accidents have been consistently reported. When the accidents are not serious, the records are not reported and cumulated in the Korea Elevator Safety Agency. Additionally, in case of replacement or repair of the parts of elevator, conflicts about the person responsible for the expense of the replacement or repair are frequently occurred. However the record of accidents is not decreasing and the conflict about the fund of elevator repair is serious. So, it is needed to reduce the elevator accidents or malfunction, the operation stop of the elevator, the conflict between building owners and users. Therefore, in this study, the elevator maintenance procedures during defect liability period, the notification procedure in case of breakdown or accident elevator, the direction of elevator maintenance contracts, the direction of the elevator inspection were suggested.

  • Users of World Wide Web (Web) experience difficulties in the retrieval of pertinent information due to the increased information provided by Web sites and the complex structure of Web documents that are continuously created, deleted, restructured, and updated. Web providers' efforts to maintain their sites are tend to be less than that of site creation due to the expenses required for maintenance. If information of relationship among Web documents and their validity is provided to Web managers as well as Web developers, they can better serve users. In order to grasp the whole structure of a Web site and to verify the validity of hyperlinks, traversal and analysis of hyperlinks in a Web document are required to provide information for effective and efficient creation and maintenance of the Web. In this paper, we introduce a Web Editor specialized for Web maintenance. We emphasized on two aspects: first, the analysis of HTML Tags to extract hyperlink information and second, establishment of the relationship among hyperlinked documents, and verification of the validity of them.

A Study on Electronic Security Guard's Security Performance on Job Satisfaction (기계경비원의 경비능력이 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of electronic security guard's security performance on the job satisfaction and to make proposals on improvement of employment status and job satisfaction. Method: To accomplish the purpose, this study organized the theoretical background by referring to the preceding researches on the related field. Then, this study conducted a survey on electronic security guards and analyzed the results in statistical methods. Result: According to analysis results, electronic security guard's security performances including academic background, martial art skills, height, weight, and BMI index had a significant influence on factors composing the job satisfaction. Conclusion: To improve the electronic security guard's job satisfaction level, this study suggested measures for improving the wage system and reducing turnover rate. This study also suggested measures for strengthening the physical standards and strengthening the practical training for employment.

  • As regulations on environmental pollution of ships have been strengthened, interest in smart ships such as electric propulsion ships equipped with hybrid power systems is increasing. Since batteries used in electric propulsion ships have a larger capacity than batteries used in vehicles, the price is high and maintenance is considered important. The ship's battery is manufactured as an integral type and is managed by the battery management system, and the maintenance and repair of the battery is performed through the replacement of the battery. we design and implement a battery module and a control algorithm using pre-cell for easy battery management. In addition, a controller is designed to transmit the data necessary for the electric propulsion ship power system control to the power control system. When a battery to which the corresponding spare-cell is applied is used, the stability of the ship and the battery system is increased, and it can have an advantage in terms of maintenance and repair.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare AAC service delivery system between Korea and U.S.A for appling effective 'AAC service delivery system. This delivery system complement the missing part in system of the current method and narrow blind area for system. The result of this research, increase suppling item of assistive communication device in public benefit and provide delivery system through construct infrastructure by assistive technology center, special education support center, developmental disorder support center, speech therapy center in each local area. Furthermore, assistive technology-related institute and academy develope training programs for human resources to delivery AAC service.

Consideration of Policy on Qualification and In-service Education of Childcare Center Staff for Improving Educare Quality (보육교직원 자격과 재교육 정책 현황 분석 및 발전 방향 고찰)

  • The main subjects of this study is to study the qualification and in-service education policies of the child care center staff and to suggest a desirable direction of policy. The main subjects of this study are child care staff policies and related laws. The results of this study shows that the philosophy, developmental psychology and some social backgrounds are the stantards required when designating the child care curriculum and essential subjects for attaining class 2 childcare teacher certificates. This study arises the needs of adjustment of the fields of the childcare curriculum contents, change between mandatory and elective subjects, and renewal of the subject title. The standards for competency in provision of childcare services of National Competency Standard(NCS) has to be considered in the adjustment process. The integrated teacher's certificate for teachers training system is needed in the reserve integration process. The systematization of the data and operating system is needed to manage the target of education efficiently, in order to develop childcare center staff's strengthening ability and professionalism. For in-service education, the diversification of the main body of operation, a periodical monitoring of the content, administrative and financial support are needed. Voluntary participation of in-service education, and the childcare center staffs professional development policy making supported by the government and parents is needed.
