A Study of Vibration Analysis Due to Structual Changes of Dynamic Structure (동적 구조물의 구조변화에 의한 진동해석 연구)

  • This paper presents the theoretical development and qualitative evaluation of a new concept in the mathematical modeling of dynamic structures. We use both test data and analytical approximations to identify the parameters of an incomplete model. The model has the capability of predicting the response of the points of interest on the structure over the frequency range of interest and can be used to predict the changes in natural frequencies and normal modes due to structural changes. The theory was tested by running simulated tests on a relatively simple structure, identifying the parameters of the incomplete model, and using this model to predict the effects on frequency and mode shapes of several mass and stiffness changes. The conditions of the tests were varied by selecting different numbers of points of measurement, varying the frequency range, and by including assumed measurement error. It is recommended that the theoretical development be continued and that applications to more complex structures be carried out in order to develop a better understanding of the limitations and capabilities of the method. A successful, more definitive sevaluation could lead to immediate practical applications.

Mono-To-Stereo Blind Upmix Using Non-Negative Matrix Factorization and Decorrelator (비음수 행렬 분해와 디코릴레이터를 이용한 모노-스테레오 블라인드 업믹스 기법)

  • This paper presents a new method for upmixing mono signal to stereo signal with guaranteeing high stereophonic image quality (SIQ) and large apparent source width (ASW). The proposed method consists of analysis phase and synthesis phase. In analysis phase, a mono signal is first decomposed into multiple sound sources by the use of high-rank nonnegative matrix factorization. Then the multiple sources are clustered into two groups based on tonality criterion. In synthesis phase, one group is directly fed into left and right channels while the other group is decorrelated before being fed into each channel. Subjective tests reveals that the proposed method gives listener high SIQ and large ASW with minimizing timbral distortions.

Path-based Dynamic User Equilibrium Assignment Model using Simulation Loading Method (시뮬레이션 부하기법을 이용한 경로기반 동적통행배정모형의 개발)

  • Since late 1970s. one of the principal research areas in transportation problem is dynamic traffic assignment (DTA). Although many models have been developed regarding DTA, yet they have some limits of describing real traffic patterns. This reason comes from the fact that DTA model has the time varying constraints such as state equation, flow propagation constraint, first in first out(FIFO) rule and queuing evolution. Thus, DTA model should be designed to satisfy these constraints as well as dynamic route choice condition, dynamic user equilibrium. In this respect, link-based DTA models have difficulty in satisfying such constraints because they have to satisfy the constraints for each link, while path-based DTA models may easily satisfy them. In this paper we develop a path-based DTA model. The model includes point queue theory to describe the queue evolution and simulation loading method for depicting traffic patterns in more detail. From a numerical test, the model shows promising results.

이동경계 문제 의 유한요소 해석

  • 유한요소기법은 원만한 온도변화를 갖는 이동경계문제에 대해 적용할 수 있음을 설명하였다. 상변화가 일어나는 요소에서 어느 한 시간 단계에 변화할 수 있는 온도의 범위는 상변화 온도 구간 보다 적어야 원만한 수치해를 얻을 수 있음을 소개하였다. 잠열의 효과를 엔탈피의 온도에 대한 변화율로 처리하여 열용량 행렬을 계산할 수 있음을 설명하였다. 급격한 변화를 갖는 온 도분포를 수치적으로 근사해를 구할 때 나타나는 파동형상은 연속적인 변수를 부분적으로 근사 해를 가정 하는데서 포함되는 오차에 기인한다. 따라서 이러한 급격한 변화의 변수를 취급하는 기법이 요구된다. 상변화를 수반하는 이동경계문제는 물의 결빙금속의 열처리, 용접, 고체연료의 연소 등에서 많이 접하게 되나 전문적인 프로그램이 없으므로(저자가 조사한 바에 의하면) 온 도분포를 요구하는 문제에서는 이의 선결이 요망되고 있다. 특히 구조해석문제에서 시간에 따라 온도조건이 변화는 경우가 많아 온도분포에 대해 따로 계산하고 그 후 구조해석을 하는 방법이 있으나, 이는 상변화와 같은 물성의 큰 변화가 없는 경우에만 가능하다. 따라서 상변화가 있는 문제에서 열탄성(thermo-elasticity)이나 열탄소성(thermoelasto-plasticity)해석을 하기 위해서는 이동경계와 구조해석을 동시에 하여야 한다.

Prediction for spatial time series models with several weight matrices (여러 가지 가중행렬을 가진 공간 시계열 모형들의 예측)

  • In this paper, we introduced linear spatial time series (space-time autoregressive and moving average model) and nonlinear spatial time series (space-time bilinear model). Also we estimated the parameters by Kalman Filter method and made comparative studies of power of forecast in the final model. We proposed several weight matrices such as equal proportion allocation, reciprocal proportion between distances, and proportion of population sizes. For applications, we collected Mumps data at Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention from January 2001 until August 2008. We compared three approaches of weight matrices using the Mumps data. Finally, we also decided the most effective model based on sum of square forecast error.

An Image Segmentation Algorithm using the Shape Space Model (모양공간 모델을 이용한 영상분할 알고리즘)

  • Since the MPEG-4 visual standard enables content-based functionalities, it is necessary to extract video objects from video sequences. Segmentation algorithms can largely be classified into two different categories: automatic segmentation and user-assisted segmentation. In this paper, we propose a new user-assisted image segmentation method based on the active contour. If we define a shape space as a set of all possible variations from the initial curve and we assume that the shape space is linear, it can be decomposed into the column space and the left null space of the shape matrix. In the proposed method, the shape space vector in the column space describes changes from the initial curve to the imaginary feature curve, and a dynamic graph search algorithm describes the detailed shape of the object in the left null space. Since we employ the shape matrix and the SUSAN operator to outline object boundaries, the proposed algorithm can ignore unwanted feature points generated by low-level image processing operations and is, therefore, applicable to images of complex background. We can also compensate for limitations of the shape matrix with a dynamic graph search algorithm.

  • 본 논문은 다공관의 바깥쪽 공간을 칸막이로 분할한 형태의 칸막이형 소음 기에 관하여 연구한 것이다. 일차원 해석을 통하여 각 요소의 전달 행렬을 구하여 소음 성능을 계산하고 격판의 위치, 유공률(porosity)등을 변화시키면 서 소음기의 성능을 실험하여 계산결과와 비교한 후 결론을 내렸다.

벨트구동 선반 주축계의 진동해석에 관한 연구

  • 선반가공은 기계 가공의 기본이라고 할 수 있으며 최근의 선반은 자동화 등의 영향으로 그 구조면에서 많은 변화 를 보여주고있다. 그러나 기본적인 가공법에서는 큰 변화가 나타나지 않는데 이는 선반의 구조상 높은 정밀도를 얻기 힘들기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 전달 행렬법과 유한 요소법의 장점을 결합하여 다축계의 진동 해석에 적용 가능한 새로운 해석 방법을 제시하고이를 이용하여 선반 주축과 구동축의 진동을 동시에 해석함으로써 주축의 성능을 예측 하고 그 개선 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 해석 방법을 적용할 경우 다양한 형태의 계에 대한 진동 해석이 가능하며 유한 요소법을 사용하였을 때에 비하여 계산 시간을 획기적으로줄일 수 있다.

중국의 주택수급요인 변화성에 관한 연구 - 도시화, 소득변동, 수급가 변화에 대한 마르코프 체인(Markov Chains)과 패널모형(Panel Model) 응용을 중심으로 -

  • 自2000年以來, 中國通過經濟的高速增長迅速成爲世界第二大經濟體。与其他發展中國家一樣, 中國通過以政府爲主導的經濟增長方式推動了城市化進程進而助長了住房需求的增加和住房价格的上漲, 幷由此造成貧富差距不斷加大等各种社會問題。本硏究主要分析影響中國住房供給因素的中國住房生態系統。 通過自2001-2019年馬爾可夫鏈模型和效應模型的分析結果表明, 不同地區的城市化發展程度和收入的變化等与住房供需的相關因素, 存在有意義的顯著差异。特别是人口密度和收入最高的地區, 大部分在20年的持續城市化和收入差距的影響下没有發生變化, 幷且大部分在集群内移動。考慮住房城市化變化因素和收入變化因素, 20年投資供需价格變化彈性約爲0.628, 銷售需求价格變化彈性約爲0.748。换言之, 在中國住房也是具有財務屬性的商品。基于這一論点, 如果中國政府實施符合住房供需關系的住房供給政策, 卽可縮小貧富差距, 也將能够實現收入再分配和促進經濟增長兩个目標。

Damage Detection of Building Structures using AEKF(Adaptive Extended Kalman Filter) (AEKF(Adaptive Extended Kalman Filter)를 이용하는 건축 구조물의 손상탐지)

  • The damage detection method using the extended Kalman filter(EKF) technique has been continuously used since EKF can estimation the responses of the damaged building structure and the stiffness of the structure. However, in the use of EKF, the requirement of setting the initial paramters P, Q, and R has caused the divergence and instability of the state vector, and various researches have been conducted to determine theses parameters. In this paper, adaptive extended Kalman filter(AEKF) method is proposed to solve the problem of setting the values of P, Q, and R, which are important parameters determining the convergence performance of the EKF state vector. By using the AEKF method proposed in this study, the P, Q, and R parameters are updated every k steps. The proposed algorithm is applied for the estimation of stiffness and the damage detection of 3-DOF problem. Based of the verification, it can be found that the selection process for the values of P, Q, and R can improve the convergence performance of EKF.
