Design and Implementation of Facial Biometric Data based User Authentication System using One-Time Password Generation Mechanism (얼굴 정보 기반 일회용 패스워드 생성 메커니즘을 이용한 사용자 인증 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • Internet banking, electronic financial services and internet telephony service can be available on smart phone recently. In this case, more robust authentication mechanisms should be provided for enhancing security on it. In this study, a facial biometric ID based one-time password generation mechanism is designed and implemented for enhancing user authentication on smart phone. After capturing a facial biometric data using camera module on smart phone, it is sent to server to generate one-time biometric ID. Finally one-time password will be generated by client module after receiving the one time biometric ID based challenge token from the server. Using proposed biometric ID based one-time password mechanism, it is possible for us to provide more secure user authentication service on smart phone for SIP protocol.

UX evaluation of MyData-based financial asset management app - Focusing on Data Visualization (마이데이터 기반 금융 자산관리 앱 사용성 평가 - 데이터 시각화를 중심으로 -)

  • MyData industry became possible with the revision of the three data-related bills on August 2020, and from February 2021, each individual can make MyData financial service through the app provided by MyData providers. In this study, in order to understand the user experience trend of MyData-based financial asset management apps in the user-centered financial service era, the usability evaluation of 11 apps from 8 MyData providers was conducted for 300 adults, then average value comparison, radial graph analysis, and heatmap analysis were conducted. In app design preference, asset list type was the most preferred type, followed by asset comparison·list type. As for the expected perception of the future benefits that can be enjoyed through My Data, 'diversification of convenient services' was the highest at 45.3%, and as a negative factor felt by users, personal information-related factors were the highest at 71.4%. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the development and improvement of user interfaces for MyData platforms.

A Study on the Intention to Use MyData Service based on Open Banking (오픈뱅킹 기반의 마이데이터 서비스 이용의도에 관한 연구)

  • With the revision of the Credit Information Use and Protection Act in August 2020, the MyData service based on open banking policy will take effect in January 2022. Nonetheless, the previous studies focused on the legal system or security-related issues of such service. Therefore, this paper conducted an empirical study on financial consumers aged 20 or older nationwide to analyze the factors which influence the intention to use MyData services based on open banking. Five characteristics representing open banking-based MyData service were derived through prior research, and a research model that combined value-based adoption model and privacy calculus theory was presented. The proposed research model and the relationship of its variables was analyzed using a sample of 400 users that is randomly selected. The results of empirical analysis showed that personalization had the greatest influence on benefits and reliability on sacrifice among service characteristics. They also suggested that MyData operators should devote themselves to providing customized services optimized for customers and establishing trust relationships. It was confirmed that both usefulness and enjoyment had a great influence on perceived value, and in terms of sacrifice, the burden of financial costs had a greater influence than privacy concerns. This study is meaningful in that it explored the psychological propensity of financial consumers to identify service utilization factors and presented a new approach that can contribute to the successful settlement of the domestic MyData industry.

  • 스마트폰 보급은 현대인들에게 시간적, 공간적 제약에서 벗어나 언제 어디서나 무선 인터넷을 사용하여 모바일 뱅킹, 결재, 증권거래 등 원하는 서비스를 이용할 수 있게 해주었다. 사용자들은 이를 이용하여 다양한 정보들을 검색, 저장, 이용한다. 그러나 무선 인터넷의 순기능과는 반대로 최근 모바일 기기의 보안취약점을 이용한 악성애플리케이션 및 각종 공격으로 사용자 개인정보탈취의 위협이 증가하고 있다. 사회공학공격의 일종인 피싱(Phishing)은 신뢰받는 기관을 사칭하여 만들어놓은 가짜사이트에 사용자로부터 자신의 개인정보 및 금융정보를 입력하게끔 유도하여 사용자정보를 탈취하는 방법으로 최근 SMS를 이용하여 정부 및 금융기관을 사칭한 문자를 보내 피싱사이트로 접속을 유도하는 피해사례가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 피싱사이트의 유형을 분석하고 피싱사이트로 접근을 유도하는 방법 중 하나인 SMS를 이용한 피싱을 방지 할 수 있는 시스템을 고안한다.

  • IPTV has risen as a new driving force amid concerns against the saturated internet market and gained enormous attention of both the government and industry as niche market. Especially, IPTV banking which is one of the major services, IPTV has risen up recently as another financial service channel. Prior to the expansion of the new technology, this study attempts to predict its success possibility. In order to grasp variables that would effect formation of user intention of potential adopters, and external variables that influence user intention of IPTV banking have been confirmed and studied empirically based on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). As a result, it was validated that self?efficacy, facilitating condition, social influence, and perceived importance to TV banking needs are the influential variables. Therefore, one may able to find appropriate direction of marketing activities for effective expansion of IPTV banking service through this study. Also, considering the fact that the number of service users has absolute influence over profit determination in the IPTV banking service industry, the study about characteristics and intention of such potential adopters could certainly be significant.

인터넷 전문은행의 국내도입에 관한 연구

  • 정보기술의 발전은 전통적인 개념의 은행산업 구조에도 변화를 주고 있다. 인터넷을 주요 영업채널로 하는 인터넷 전문은행의 출현도 그 중의 한 예이다. 오프라인 지점 없이 은행자체가 온라인에만 존재하는 인터넷 전문은행은 세계적으로 100개 가까이 영업 중에 있으며, 많은 은행들이 도입초기 적자에서 벗어나 최근 몇 년을 기준으로 흑자를 달성하고 있다. 우리나라에서는 여러 가지 이유로 인하여 도입이 유보되고 있지만 지난 2002년에는 SK텔레콤 컨소시엄을 중심으로 V뱅크라는 인터넷 전문은행의 추진이 있었고, 2007년 2월부터 HSBC에서 유사한 형태의 다이렉트뱅킹서비스를 선보이는 등 도입 움직임이 가시화 되고 있다. 지금까지 발표된 연구자료들은 해외사례와 함께 우리나라의 인터넷 전문은행 도입 필요성을 언급하면서 제도개선 측면을 많이 강조하였다. 인터넷 전문은행 도입에 장애가 되는 각종 법규제를 완화하고 활성화를 위한 환경을 조성해야 한다는 주장이나, 아직까지 관련 조치는 이루지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미국 EU와의 FTA, 자본시장통합법 등 급변하는 금융환경에서 외국의 인터넷 전업은행이 국내에 진출할 경우, 또는 비은행 기관들의 진출에 의한 시장영향 등을 고려하여 현행 제도하에서 국내 환경에 맞는 도입방안을 시장방어적인 측면에서 생각해 보고자 한다.

국내 인터넷 뱅킹 현황 및 서비스 평가에 관한 실증적 연구

  • The Internet banking service, through which customers process their banking-related works, was introduced in July 1997. The service has since spread quickly, and as of the end of June 2000, just one year after its introduction into Korea, its subscribers numbered 1.23 million people. This figure is ten times larger than the 120,000 subscribers recorded over the six months period up to the end of 1999. In addition, since the end of June 2000, subscriptions on average increase by more than 10,000 a day, and by the end of December 2000, it is expected to pass the 3 million mark. There has been no empirical study conducted on the invigorated Internet banking's status and its services. Therefore, this research is designed to conduct a survey on the Internet banking service status, to conduct actual transactions from the viewpoint of customers and then make a empirical evaluation of it. This will indicate directions for improvement and development of the domestic Internet banking service. We have evaluated ten areas of the Internet banking service including financial service, customers service, users'convenience, and system safety. As of the end of June 2000, 18 out of 20 commercial domestic banks are providing an Internet banking service, and we have conducted evaluations of all these banks. The evaluation is divided into ten categories with 100 points as a maximum score. These are then classified into six grades AAA, AA, A, BBB, BB and B. The outcome of this evaluation was featured in the major domestic journals, and the banks, acknowledging the value of the report, declared that they would adopt it as their criteria for evaluation.

  • 인터넷의 발달과 더불어, 인터넷을 통한 전자상거래, 홈 뱅킹 등의 서비스가 급속히 성장하면서 이러한 사회기반 시설에 대한 침입피해 사례가 급증하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 침입 피해를 방지하기 위하여 방화벽과 침입탐지 시스템이 개발되어 설치되고 있으나, 침입피해를 감소 시키기에는 문제점들이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 침입탐지 시스템들의 소극적인 탐지기능에서 벗어나, 보다 적극적으로 침입에 대응할 수 있는 방안을 연구하였다. 즉, 침입탐지가 되면, 즉시 침입자들을 역으로 추적할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한 이러한 시스템은 자율적으로 행동하여야 하기 때문에 멀티 에이전트 기반 시스템으로 설계하였다.

  • Theoretically, both of fund transfer and balance inquiry which are typical Internet banking services are influenced by the beliefs on the use of Internet banking such as perceived risk and convenience, which have been shown as in the other studies. However, the use of fund transfer can be more sensitive than that of balance inquiry by the beliefs on Internet banking use since the former is not only more risk involved but also more complicated in using than the latter. The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between the use of two Internet banking services-fund transfer and balance inquiry-and the beliefs on Internet banking use-security risk, convenience and social Influence. For this purpose, we provide the research model for explaining the difference between balance inquiry and fund transfer in the degree of influencing by security risk, convenience and social influence and test it empirically by collecting data from surveying for 206 internet banking users. In result, we show validity of the suggested model by Partial Least Square(PLS) approach.

  • Mobile banking is a subset of electronic banking which underlies not only the determinants of the banking business but also the special conditions of mobile commerce. Nowadays wireless networks are being evolved and diversified. In this situation The wireless e-commerce is in the limelight on new profits of Carriers. Because of this situation, the importance of mobile billing service is being emphasized. This paper searches the definition and service types of mobile banking, and suggests status and prospects of domestic mobile banking. We suggest the basic direction, the stage of development and functions of services by analyzing the cases of Nonghyup's. Finally we derive the critical factors from those and suggest the effect of introduction and the direction of development. From the customer perspective, mobile banking has many strengths. For example, it allows that all customers access banking service at anytime, anywhere more easily than telephone banking or pc banking. And it reduces the time and the effort for using the service. It enables the company to make a business against global customers. On the other hand, from the company perspective, it has a lot of potential that affect market share and reduce the costs of human and material resources which used to operate and support branches. However, it needs many efforts to reach at the stage of completion. And We will have to solve the problems that develop many contents, expend the range of services and raise the service convenience.
