The relationship between acute kidney injury (AKI) prediction and nephrotoxic drugs, or drugs that adversely affect kidney function, is one that has yet to be explored in the critical care setting. One contributing factor to this gap in research is the limited investigation of drug modalities in the intensive care unit (ICU) context, due to the challenges of processing prescription data into the corresponding drug representations and a lack in the comprehensive understanding of these drug representations. This study addresses this gap by proposing a novel approach that leverages patient prescription data as a modality to improve existing models for AKI prediction. We base our research on Electronic Health Record (EHR) data, extracting the relevant patient prescription information and converting it into the selected drug representation for our research, the extended-connectivity fingerprint (ECFP). Furthermore, we adopt a unique multimodal approach, developing machine learning models and 1D Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) applied to clinical drug representations, establishing a procedure which has not been used by any previous studies predicting AKI. The findings showcase a notable improvement in AKI prediction through the integration of drug embeddings and other patient cohort features. By using drug features represented as ECFP molecular fingerprints along with common cohort features such as demographics and lab test values, we achieved a considerable improvement in model performance for the AKI prediction task over the baseline model which does not include the drug representations as features, indicating that our distinct approach enhances existing baseline techniques and highlights the relevance of drug data in predicting AKI in the ICU setting.

This thesis is a study of content development utilizing media outlets to date through digital humans. The trend of global content is that the video content industry, including the character business, is growing. Lil Michela, who was selected as one of the 25 most influential people on the Internet by Time magazine in 2018, Nasua, who appeared in a SK Telecom commercial, and Rosie, who appeared in a Shinhan Bank commercial, are representative. Digital humans, which are driving new content, are computer-generated human characters with various characteristics and are referred to as virtual humans, metahumans, and cyber humans. With the rise of the metaverse after COVID-19, digital humans are being utilized in various forms such as media and marketing as an element of visual content. In the form of media, we can see that the boundaries between the offline and digital worlds are converging, and in the form of marketing, we can see that digital humans connect consumers and products more naturally. In the form of interaction, it is possible to achieve two-way communication through various methods of operation, and through these factors, it is possible to go beyond behavioral communication in the form of memorialization to emotional communication through AI technology. What can be seen through these processes is that through the currently developing digital human production methods and AI functions, not only experts but also non-experts can create quality contents, and new directions of contents will appear, and contents that can provide immediate feedback by bringing consumers and creators closer together have been studied.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics of social networks among registered nurses in acute nursing care units. Methods: This study used a survey design. Four nursing units from two acute hospitals were selected using a convenience method, and 83 nurses from those nursing units participated in the study in July 2022. The positive influences among nurses included friendship, collaboration, advice, and referent networks, and the negative influences included avoidance and bullying networks. Using the NetMiner program, the k-means clustering technique was applied to create groups of nodes with similar characteristics. The general characteristics of the participants were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, frequency, and ANOVA or chi-squared test. Results: As a result of dividing the 83 nurse participants into four clusters, positive influencers, silent peers, unwelcome peers, and active bullies were identified. Positive influence group nurses were frequently mentioned in the friendship, collaboration, advice, and referent networks. On the other hand, nurses in the unwelcome group and the active bullying group were frequently mentioned in the avoidance and bullying networks. Conclusion: Social networks that have a positive or negative impact on nursing performance are created through different relationships between nurses. Nurse managers can use the findings to create a more supportive and collaborative environment. Further research is needed to develop intervention programs to improve interactions and relationships between fellow nurses.
Recently, enhanced in situ bioremediation using slow substrate release techniques has been actively researched for managing TCE-contaminated groundwater. This study conducted a lab-scale batch reactor experiment to evaluate the feasibility of natural attenuation for TCE dechlorination using microsized corn-oil droplet (MOD) as an activator considering the following three factors: 1) TCE dechlorination in the presence or absence of MOD; 2) TCE dechlorination in the presence or absence of inactivator of native microbial activity; and 3) MOD concentration effects on TCE dechlorination. Batch reactors were constructed using site groundwater and soil in which Dehalococcoides bacteria were present. Without MOD, TCE was decomposed into dichloroethylene (DCE). However, other by-products of TCE dechlorination were not detected. With MOD, DCE, vinyl chloride (VC), and ethylene (ETH) were sequentially observed. This result confirmed that MOD effectively supplied electrons to complete dechlorination of TCE to ETH. However, when an excess of MOD was provided, it formed unfavorable conditions for anaerobic digestion because dechlorination reaction did not proceed while propionic acid was accumulated after DCE was generated. Therefore, if an appropriate amount of MOD is supplied, MOD can be effectively used as a natural reduction activator to promote biodegradation in an aquifer contaminated by TCE.

Objectives: This study aimed to identify the prevalence of falls in community-dwelling older adults and to identify associated factors using the 2019 Community Health Survey. Methods: The original data was from the 2019 Community Health Survey, and the study sample comprised 1,642 older adults aged 65 years and older in Jeju province. Data collection was conducted from August 16 to November 20, 2019, through an interview done by a trained investigator. Respondents were queried about demographic characteristics, riding bicycles, hospital treatment due to an accident or poisoning in the previous year, fall experiences in the past year, fear of falling, self-management status, and pain and discomfort. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate for associations between potential risk factors and falls. Results: The prevalence of falls in this community-dwelling older adults was 13.1%. Falls were associated with riding bicycles (odds ratio = 4.7; 95% confidence interval: 2.26-9.81), fear of falling (odds ratio = 0.3; 95% confidence interval: 0.24-0.49), hospital treatment due to an accident or poisoning in the previous year (odds ratio = 7.8; 95% confidence interval: 5.02-12.19), self-management status (odds ratio = 0.6; 95% confidence interval: 0.34-0.89), and pain and discomfort (odds ratio = 0.6; 95% confidence interval: 0.40-0.87). Conclusions: We found that the prevalence of approximately about 13% of older adults living in a community has experienced falls. Based on the results of the study, we provided primary data to develop the care management intervention program to prevent falls and avoid risk factors that cause falls in community-dwelling older adults.

As listed as one of the most important requirements for Post-Quantum Cryptography standardization process by National Institute of Standards and Technology, the resistance to various side-channel attacks is considered very critical in deploying cryptosystems in practice. In fact, cryptosystems can easily be broken by side-channel attacks, even though they are considered to be secure in the mathematical point of view. The timing attack(TA) and the simple power analysis attack(SPA) are such side-channel attack methods which can reveal sensitive information by analyzing the timing behavior or the power consumption pattern of cryptographic operations. Thus, appropriate measures against such attacks must carefully be considered in the early stage of cryptosystem's implementation process. The Montgomery multiplier is a commonly used and classical gadget in implementing big-number-based cryptosystems including RSA and ECC. And, as recently proposed as an alternative of building blocks for implementing post quantum cryptography such as lattice-based cryptography, the big-number multiplier including the Montgomery multiplier still plays a role in modern cryptography. However, in spite of its effectiveness and wide-adoption, the multiplier is known to be vulnerable to TA and SPA. And this paper proposes a new countermeasure for the Montgomery multiplier against TA and SPA. Briefly speaking, the new measure first represents a multiplication operand without 0 digits, so the resulting multiplication operation behaves in a very regular manner. Also, the new algorithm removes the extra final reduction (which is intrinsic to the modular multiplication) to make the resulting multiplier more timing-independent. Consequently, the resulting multiplier operates in constant time so that it totally removes any TA and SPA vulnerabilities. Since the proposed method can process multi bits at a time, implementers can also trade-off the performance with the resource usage to get desirable implementation characteristics.

We analyze the types of Web3 business model innovation (BMI) of the six major Korean game companies by market size. As a result of the analysis, Nexon is watched as the adapter. It introduces blockchain (BC) layer 2, 'Polygon' to the extended ecosystem such as the creator's secondary creation, item utility, and compensation experience using the existing core intellectual property (IP). KakaoGames and Neowiz are watched as the adventurers. KakaoGames introduces BC layer 2, 'Polygon' and 'Near Protocol' to various experiments using tokenomics models in casual games and massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) using several existing popular IPs. Neowiz also introduces BC layer 2, 'Polygon' and 'Avalanche' to the IntellaX platform using existing game IPs. As the reinventor, Netmable positions as a game publisher that releases third-party games based on multi-chain infrastructure such as Klaytn, BNB Chain, Near Protocol, Aptos Foundation, and introduces BC to new core IPs. Finally, there are Wemade and Com2us as the mavericks. They aim to be the Web3 platform operators that create a BC layer 1 ecosystem and provide services that encompass BC games, GameFi, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Here are the implications of the four types of BMI. In terms of infrastructure, Nexon, KakaoGames, and Neowiz try to introduce a part of cross-chain, whereas Netmable tries to move toward a complete multi-chain strategy, and Wemade and Com2us also try to consider multi-chain, even if they have the full BC introduction. In terms of defending against market decline, Nexon and Netmable have a different position. Nexon which has a greater market dominance, only tries to continuously experiment, but Netmable is aggressively focusing on monetizing new products. Attacks on growth aspirations also show two different positions. KakaoGames and Neowiz only try to aggressively explore, while WeMade and Com2us try to set new standards for industrial innovation.

This article takes the talk show "Beast Town" as an example to introduce the overall technical solution, technical difficulties and countermeasures for the combination of cartoon virtual characters and virtual studio technology, providing reference and experience for the multi-scenario application of digital humans. Compared with the live broadcast that combines reality and reality, we have further upgraded our virtual production technology and digital human-driven technology, adopted industry-leading real-time virtual production technology and monocular camera driving technology, and launched a virtual cartoon character talk show - "Beast Town" to achieve real Perfectly combined with virtuality, it further enhances program immersion and audio-visual experience, and expands infinite boundaries for virtual manufacturing. In the talk show, motion capture shooting technology is used for final picture synthesis. Chinese high-rise hotels are large in size, densely populated, and have a lot of combustibles. Once a fire occurs, the fire and smoke spread rapidly, and once a fire accident occurs, it is easy to cause a large number of deaths. Fires have a greater impact on special populations such as elderly and children who move slowly. At present, research mainly focuses on the impact of high-rise building structures on evacuation consequences, but there is very little research on the safety evacuation consequences of elderly people and children in high-rise hotels. This paper focuses on the elderly and children living in high-rise hotels in China. We studied three scenarios in which the elderly and children were placed on high floors, middle floors, and low floors. For the above three scenarios, use pathfinder software for simulation, According to the simulation results, when the elderly and children are mainly concentrated in the lower floors (2nd and 3rd floors), the evacuation time is the shortest, 147 seconds. The evacuation time for the elderly and children on the middle floor (6th and 7th floors) is the longest, at 191.5 seconds. Compared to being placed on high floors, safely staying on low floors for all ages reduces evacuation time by 44.5 seconds and improves evacuation efficiency by 23.24%. The final safety evacuation plan is that in daily safety management, hotels should arrange elderly and children occupants on lower floors as much as possible to reduce the total evacuation time and improve personnel evacuation efficiency. This has great guiding significance in the safety management of high-rise hotels.

Recently, audio systems are changing the configuration of conventional sound reinforcement (SR) systems and public address (PA) systems by using audio over IP (AoIP), a technology that can transmit and receive audio signals based on internet protocol (IP). With the advancement of IP technology, AoIP technologies are leading the audio market and various technologies are being released. In particular, audio networks and control hierarchy over peer-to-peer (Anchor) technology based on AoIP is a system that transmits and receives audio signals over a wide bandwidth without an audio mixer, creating a novel paradigm for existing audio system configurations. Anchor technology forms an audio system by connecting audio sources and output equipment with On-site audio center (OAC), a device that can transmit and receive IP. Anchor's receiving OAC is capable of receiving and mixing audio signals transmitted from different IPs, making it possible to configure a novel audio system by replacing the conventional audio mixer. However, Anchor technology does not have the ability to provide audio effects to input devices such as microphones and instruments in the audio system configuration. Due to this, when individual control of each audio source is required, there is a problem of not being able to control the input signal, and it is impossible to individually affect a specific input signal. In this paper, we implemented a tone control module that can individually control the tone of the audio source of the input device using the audio processor core in the audio system based on Anchor technology, tone control for audio sources is possible through a tone control module connected to the transmitting OAC. As a result of the study, we confirmed that OAC receives the signal from the audio source, adjusts the tone and outputs it on the tone control module. Based on this, it was possible to solve problems that occurred in Anchor technology through transmitting OAC and tone control modules. In the future, we hope that the audio system configuration using Anchor technology will become established as the standard for audio equipment.
