The Ministry of Science and ICT recently announced its policy direction that involves charging the economic value of radio spectrum for promoting its efficient usage. According to the policy, there will be much efforts to estimate the economic values of various usages of radio spectrum. In this study, the economic value of radio spectrum is estimated for trunked radio system(TRS) by employing the least cost alternative methodology. The proposed methodology estimates the value of radio spectrum according to the cost of an alternative that can be employed for providing the same service. The value of radio spectrum for TRS was determined on the basis of the cost associated with the provision of TRS through the LTE network, wherein the value of radio spectrum for TRS comprises the LTE network cost, capital expenditure for the LTE service, subsidy for the LTE handset, and compensation cost for migration. Results obtained from this study can aid in calculating the economic values of radio spectra for other services and applications.

The drone market, an unmanned aerial vehicle, is rapidly expanding and developing into an important area related to the huge changes in the traffic system of the future. With various technologies on the fourth industrial revolution, including drones, mentioned at the Davos Forum in January 2016, interest in drones is emerging as an explosive demand for national certificates. The number of drone pilots, which was only 400 in 2015, is continuing to surpass 17,000 as of 2018. Therefore, this study analyzed the safety perception of the pilots based on the DREEM (Dundee ready environmental assessment) model designed to evaluate the educational environment along with the current state of drone education in Korea. This led to the conclusion that the high level of satisfaction of the pilot with the educational environment contributes to the overall safety perception, including compliance with procedures.

Shin Hae-Chul's music opened a new horizon in the Korean pop music market where only popular music is produced and the music of a similar genre or pattern is mainstream, which has dissolved the complaints of the public who longed for new music. He experimented with his musical potential every time he released his work, which received favorable reviews in that he raised the level of Korean pop music. To solve the unstable factors in today's pop music, it is important to appeal to the public by capturing quality work through continued studies and creative activities. In that context, the attitude of "Next" is led by the late Shin Hae-Chul, and his qualities as an artist greatly contributed to the development of Korean pop music. This indicates that if musicians strive to develop themselves, and strengthen their creative ability to make bold and new attempts, Korean pop music will lead to another fashionable "K-pop" and will open up a new horizon.

This study discuss how the meaning and role of the state in the process of globalization are defined by the media and how the regulation is related to the ideology and value inherent in the process of globalization. Specifically, we tried to examine how the meaning and role of neoliberal state, which characterizes globalization process, is justified and reinforced by media. The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of the dominant globalization process inherent in the discourse of national competitiveness by analyzing how the national competitiveness index report released by the World Economic Forum is reported by the media every year. In addition, we sought to understand the significance and role of the state in the globalization process by examining what areas are emphasized and excluded from the national competitiveness index composed of economic infrastructure, economic efficiency, and enterprise innovation activities.

This study is a systematic review of literature to analyze the characteristics and outcome variables of intervention research programs for domestic thyroid patients. We systematically reviewed the literature published until 2019 in five domestic databases. Six of the 824 confirmed articles were extracted according to the selection criteria. The results of this study were classified into education, activities, and counseling. Education and counseling therapy had a significant effect on psychosocial and physiological variables. Activity therapy had a significant effect on physiological variables. This study presented the basis for the development and implementation of various intervention programs for domestic thyroid patients and can be used for the study of the convergence program development considering physiological and psychosocial problems of the thyroid patients.

The study explores the kinds of emotions freshmen in South Korea universities experience. Specifically, the study examines their emotional experiences on level-differentiated classes, team-teaching by native speakers and Korean professors, and communicative activities. 327 freshmen participated in the survey based on 'Academic Emotions Questionnaire (AEQ)' and the statistical results are as follows: Firstly, research showed that the participants in advanced classes feel higher negative emotions such as 'worries' and 'boredom' than those of beginner and intermediated classes (P < .05). Secondly, participants feel higher level of 'fun', 'satisfaction' and lower level for 'boredom' in the native speaker classes than those of Korean professors (P < .001). Thirdly, participants feel games are the most 'fun' and 'satisfying', while presentations are viewed as the most 'worrying' and 'boring' among the communicative activities (P < .001). Finally, the pedagogical implications and suggestions are discussed.

This study was attempted to identify the working environment of nurses by identifying the key keywords associated with the unfair working conditions of Korean nurses reported in various media outlets in the media. "Nurse NOT (nurse) or nurse" was searched on BIG KINDS, selected articles related to the unfair treatment of nurses, extracted the final 309 cases, and classified into six categories of hospital-level, regional, keyword, and integrated keywords in the article using Excel2007. Of the 309 articles, 79 (22.56 percent) were published from November 2015 to October 31, 2016, 92 (29.77 percent) from third medical institutions, and 121 (39.1 percent) from across the country. The integrated keywords were summarized into a total of 14, followed by sexual assault/sexual harassment (14.88%), shortage of nurses (11.65%), burning nurses (11.0%), unfair dismissal (10.67%) and physical assault (10.35%). The findings could be used as basic data for establishing a positive working environment for nurses and improving positive image awareness of nursing professionals.

Intensive pulsed light (IPL) technique enables energy to be transferred to a target substance in a short time per millisecond at room temperature under an ambient atmosphere. Due to the growing interest in flashlights with excellent functionality among various technologies, light-sintering research on metal particles using IPL has been carried out representatively. Recently, examples of the application of IPL to various material synthesis have been reported. In the present article, various strategies using IPL including the manufacture of flexible electrodes and the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks were discussed. In particular, the process of improving oxidation resistance and electrical conductivity of electrodes, and also the metal-organic framework synthesis from metal surface were explained in detail. We envision that the review article can be of great help to researchers who investigate electrode manufacturing and material synthesis using IPL.

As concerns about users' privacy infringement on Online Behavioral Advertising(OBA) increase, regulators are taking measures such as drawing up guidelines for OBAs, and websites provide OBA guidance in compliance with such guidelines. As a result of reviewing the status of providing OBA guidance on websites, access to OBA guidance pages was rather complicated. In order to analyze the issue from the UI/UX perspective, following the "Guidelines for Privacy in Online Behavioral Advertising" applied to all types of OBA transmitted on websites, this study aims to structuralize a navigation of page movement from two starting points, 1) Main Page, 2) The page where OBA is delivered, to OBA guidance pages. Also, with understanding the problems found in the access and navigation of OBA guidance pages by analyzing features found during the page navigation, such as hyperlinks containing keywords, and movement pages.

Since the late 1990s, public nursing hospitals have been established, and as of 2018, 79 hospitals account for 5.1% of all nursing hospitals. In this regard, the Dementia Management Act was revised in 2018 to provide a legal basis for the operation evaluation of public nursing hospitals, and this evaluation will begin in 2020. As part of the study to conduct the operation evaluation of public nursing hospitals to be implemented from 2020, the research established a function to foster public nursing hospitals as specialized institutions for dementia patients and competent institutions for treating rehabilitation patients during the period of recovery, and developed an evaluation system to evaluate their behavior as medical services, public nature and public institutions.
