The conformance testing of communication protocol is the process to evaluate whether the protocol implemented is identified with standard specification. By evaluating how generated test cases detect many faults, it can be used with standard estimating efficiency of conformance testing. The method that evaluates the capability of fault coverage for test cases, has been researched by mathematical analysis and simulation. In this paper, we pointed out the problem of existing method and proposed new evaluation model of fault covergage for test case which generated by foult model. Also, we analyzed the results comparing to the existing evaluation method and proved its validity.

The present study examined the usability of the web site design, focusing on the cognitive characteristics of the WWW. Specifically, we conducted two major non-experimental usability testing methods on the domestic web sites with various purposes. In research I. we used an on-line questionnaire method on 12 domestic web sites. As a result. several critical usability features and factors were identified. In research 2. we carried out a heuristic evaluation method to identify more specific usability problems The result of research 2 suggests that the heuristic evaluation method reveals more specific problems of the web site design than the questionnaire method.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between the ability of students' raising creative problems and academic achievement, science inquiry skills and creative personality of high school students. In order to evaluate the originality of problems, the present study used three methods: evaluation by frequency, teacher, and student. The results in this study turned out to be as follows: First, there was not much difference in the three methods. But familiar problems had the possibility of receiving higher marks. Second, the ability of students' raising creative problems was significantly correlated with academic achievement and creative personality, but there was no correlation with science inquiry skills. The subjects were divided into 2 groups by students' originality score. In the higher score group, the ability of students' raising creative problems was significantly correlated with creative personality, but in the lower score group, it was significantly correlated with academic achievement. Third, as for science inquiry skills and creative personality between two groups, there was no significant difference, whereas as for academic achievement(physics I, chemistry I), there was significant difference.

In this ppaer, fault coverage analysis of a conformance test case for communication protocols, specified as a deterministic finite state machine(DFSM) is presented. The fault coverage analysis of a test case is defined by measuring the extent of the faults detected using a generated test case. The method that evaluates fault coverage analysis for a test case, has been researched by arithmetic analysis and simulation. In this paper, we designed and implemented a simulator for fault coverage analysis of a communication protocol teat case. With this result for Inres protocol, output fault and state merge and split fault have a high fault coverage of 100%. This simulator can be widely used with new fault coverage analysis tools by applying it to various protocols.

In this paper, many kinds of heuristic functions were discussed. It's important factor in the path finding algorithm to find an accurate estimator of distance from the goal. Any space for which an accurate estimator exists is a domain of its problem being solves. Only domains with inaccurate estimators are interesting, so this paper deals with these cases for which the efficient use of heuristic information is necessary, It has been productive to use a computational approach to the shortest path problem.

In this study, we tried to analyze the relative importance of features for various functions provided by Discovery. We identified a total of 36 assessment items in five categories including contents, search function, serendipity, interactivity, and ease of use based on literature review. In order to objectively evaluate the relative importance of each evaluation element, an AHP technique was adopted. As a result, 'Easy of use' received the highest weighted value among the five categories, followed by 'contents', 'search function', 'interactivity', and 'serendipity'. In addition, among all the 36 assessment items, 'Quality of data for central index' had higher weighted value. These findings can be used as basic data to adopt a discovery tool for libraries.

purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between high school students' Problem Finding Ability (PFA) and chemistry problem solving ability. To achieve this purpose, the interrelationship between the results of PFA in ill-structured scientific problem situation and the scores of sham examination in chemistry I of College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) was analyzed. The results of this study turned out to be as follows: There was correlation (r=.346) between the score of PFA test and that of sham examination in chemistry I of the CSAT. And a little correlation (r=.390) between PFA and students application ability which is one of the sub factors in sham examination of the CSAT. Especially, in the high achievers group there was high correlation (r=.446) between students fluency which is one of the sub factors in PFA, and application ability. This implies that the application ability of high achievers has something to do with their PFA for a variety of problems. As for the PFA between high achievers and low achievers, there was no significant difference (t=.830, p=.411).
