The measurement of prostate specific antigen (PSA) in screening for prostate cancer is recently performed as a routine check-up in clinical medicine and insurance medicine. Several factors may affect serum PSA levels. As prostate size increases with increasing age, the PSA concentration also rises. Increasing body mass index (BMI) is associated with a lower mean PSA concentration. Inhibitors of 5-alpha-reductase such as finasteride and dutasteride produce a 50 percent or greater decrease in serum PSA during the first three months of therapy, which persists as long as the drug is continued. Men who are regularly taking non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or acetaminophen have lower PSA levels. Emerging concepts regarding PSA testing that may help refine the interpretation of an elevated concentration include: PSA density, PSA velocity, and Free versus complexed or bound PSA. With many insurance companies, PSA level has become part of a standard battery of blood tests, along with HIV, cholesterol, liver enzymes, and other predictors of premature death. But, there is no clear proof of benefit, so we have to monitor the value of PSA test as a prostate cancer screening test in insurance medicine.

제지슬러지를 먹이로 공급하여 줄지렁이를 사육하면서 지렁이 사육상 높이 및 사육상내 개체군 밀도가 높아짐에 따른 줄지렁이 개체군의 수직분포를 사육상 표층으로부터 5 cm 간격으로 조사하였다. 줄지렁이 유충, 성충, 개체군의 50% 이상이 표층으로부터 5 cm 이내에 서식하였으며, 줄지렁이 유충, 성충, 난포 개체군의 96% 이상이 표층으로부터 20 cm 이내에 서식하였다. 사육상의 높이가 50 cm로 높아질 때까지 사육상 높이나 지렁이 개체군 밀도 변화가 지렁이 개체군의 수직분포 비율에 큰 영향을 미치지 않았다.

The home network has been revitalized due to the emergence of the high-speed broadband network and explosive increases of the home network services. Especially multicast based high-definition (HD) IPTV service is on high demand from both Internet service provider (ISP) and users. In order to provide high quality HD IPTV service without packet loss and delay, the ISP utilizes various network QoS mechanisms. Due to the misleading fact, that the home gateway is considered as an end terminal in terms of the ISP's viewpoint, the ISPs can not guarantee the end-to-end QoS within the scope of the current home network architecture. Therefore, an independent QoS guaranteed mechanism should be considered within the home network domain. As the home gateway manages both private home and public access network within the home network, we propose and implement a novel QoS mechanism for the multicast based HD IPTV service over the home gateway. In order to provide QoS guaranteed HD IPTV service, the proposed mechanism classifies the packets, manages home network bandwidth resources, and executes call admission control using the channel join message. Also, we utilize layer 2 multicast packet forwarding scheme to improve the overall performance of the home network services. Through the experiments of implementing the multicast based HD IPTV services, we will verify the efficiency of the proposed mechanism.

본 논문에서는 홈 게이트웨이를 이용하는 가입자들을 관리하기 위해 SSL을 이용한 웹 기반 홈 게이트웨이 관리 시스템을 설계하였다. SNMP를 탑재한 홈 게이트웨이의 시스템 분석, 성능 분석, 장애 분석 등을 파악하기 위해 MIB 오브젝트를 추출하여 가공한다. 시스템 분석은 홈 게이트웨이의 기본적인 구성 정보를 제공하고, 성능 분석은 장비의 실시간 트래픽 정보와 상태를 나타내며, 장애 분석은 예외 상황에 대한 장애로그 및 Trap 메시지를 통하여 장애를 통보 받는다. 또한 SSL(Secure Socket Layer)을 이용하여 서버와 클라이언트 사이의 통신 회선의 보안을 강화함으로써 관리 시스템의 안정성을 증가시켰다.

Data envelopment analysis(DEA) has proved to be powerful for benchmarking and has been widely used in a variety of settings since the advent of it. DEA can be used in identifying the best performing units to be benchmarked against as well as in providing actionable measure for improvement of a organization's performance. However, the selection of performance benchmarks is a matter of both technical production possibilities and organizational policy considerations, managerial preferences and external restrictions. In that regards, DEA has a limited value in benchmarking because it focuses on only technical production Possibilities. This research proposes a new perspective in using DEA and a frame-work for benchmarking to select benchmarks that are both feasible and desirable in terms of organizational context. To do this, the concept of local and global efficiency is newly proposed. To show how useful the suggested concept and framework are, a case study is addressed.

It is important to choose and develop right business model in the process of implementing the ubiquitous service concept. In particular, it is also required to build a method which can assist in establishing a business model in a competitive perspective to differentiate business strategy. However, we could not find the existing studies which tried to develop business model including methods on how to differentiate business strategy in a competitive environment. In this study, we propose an ontology for repository of ubiquitous business model and address on how to apply the proposed business model repository to real ubiquitous industry. We also built a repository of unlicensed wireless device industry to check the applicability of proposed ubiquitous business model ontology and to show the various examples. We expect that building the business model repository contributes to reduce the redundancy and inefficiency for industry as well as to increase likelihood of business success for an individual company.

IEEE 802.11 WLAN은 핸드오프 과정에서 일시적인 통신로의 단절이 발생하는 하드 핸드오프을 적용한다. 이 방식은 핸드오프 과정에서 트래픽의 유실을 초래하며, 트래픽 유실을 복구하기 위해 old AP에서 new AP로 트래픽을 포위딩하는 방식을 사용하나 실시간 서비스에는 적용이 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 무선 LAN 기반 홈네트워크의 실시간서비스의 핸드오프에서 트래픽 유실 및 전송시컨스 에러를 줄이기 위한 방식을 제안한다. 이를 위해 IEEE 802.11e에서 권고하는 priority queue scheme을 적용하고, 실시간 서비스의 핸드오프 트래픽에 대해 priority queue의 사용 우선권을 주어 핸드오프시 트래픽 유실 및 전송시컨스 에러를 줄이는 방식을 제안하고, 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 분석하였다

Objectives : This study investigated the hepatoprotective effects effects of Jageum-jung extract on alcohol-induced liver disease mice model. Methods : Alcoholic liver disease was induced by Ethanol in C57/BL6 male mice, which were fed Lieber-DeCarli liquid diet containing ethanol. Jageum-jung (100,200 and 300 mg/kg bw/day) were orally administered daily in the alcoholic fatty liver disease mice for 16 days. Results : The results indicate that Jageum-jung promotes hepatoprotective effects by significantly reducing aspartate transaminase (AST) and alanine transaminase (ALT) levels as indicators of liver damage in the serum. Furthermore, Jageum-jung decreased accumulation of triglyceride and total cholesterol, increased levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione (GSH) in the serum of the alcoholic fatty liver disease mice model. Additionally, it improved the serum alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) activity. Conclusions : This study confirmed the anti-oxidative and hangover elimination effects of Jageum-jung extract, and suggests the possibility of using Jageum-jung to treat alcholic liver disease.

CMS-MX(CDMA Mobile System-Mobile eXchange) 이동통신교환기 소프트웨어는 그 규모가 크고 새로운 기능 추가에 따른 지속적인 변경이 요구되기 때문에 체계적인 버전 관리를 필요로 한다. 그러나 CMS-MX 소프트웨어는 다양한 형태의 파일들로 구성되어 있고 고유의 소프트웨어 개발 체계를 따르기 때문에 범용의 버전 관리 시스템을 그대로 적용하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 CMS-MX 소프트웨어의 개발 환경 및 개발 체계에 적합하도록 구현된 CMS-MX 소프트웨어 버전 관리 시스템을 소개하고 그 구성과 기능에 대해 기술하였다. CMS-MX 소프트웨어 버전 관리 시스템은 소프트웨어 형상과 소프트웨어 개발자 정보를 하여 파일의 등록관리, 버전제어, 그리고 정보 관리의 기능을 수행하며 파일 전체 저장, 파일 검증, 소프트웨어 종합 작업과의 연계등의 특징을 가지고 있다.

In this paper, optical tracking and analysis was carried out to find the optical properties with respect to various geometric design parameters of collimator lens which is very efficient when collect the light. As a result, a whole, ellipse incident part can obtain a high light efficiency and a narrow beam angle, and angled cylinder incident part is confirmed to obtain high efficiency and a narrow beam angle at a certain height or more. When Transmission part have a specific surface which can reflect the light in forward direction, a good optical properties was confirmed.
