미국의 정부규격은 국방규격(Military Specification and Standard) 연방규격(Federal Specification Standard)이 있으며 금속표면처리에 관련된 규격인 전기도금규격, 아노다이징, 화성피막처리, 기타 코팅 규격은 40여종으로 되어있다. 이들 규격서와 표준서는 미국내 정부베이소 구매시의 금속표면처리 제품과 때로는 장비의 구입 계약시에 지침이 되고 있다. 전민간의 산업체와 일반 상품의 가공에 생산과 품질관리에 두루 적용되고 있어 국내 대미주 지역의 수출은 물론 표면처리 제품의 생산 공정에 활용-기여하고자 규격 주요내용의 기술과 구입방법을 소개하고져 한다.

오늘날 용접은 조선공업이나 항공, 교량등 대형플랜트에 이르기까지 없어서는 않될 중요한 작 업의 하나이다. 이러한 공정에서 표준(Standard)또는 규격(Specification)이 필요하게 되는데 우 리의 형편은 아직도 미국의 규격을 그대로 따르고 있는 실정이다. 외국에서는 벌써 오래전부터 규격을 정해 적용해 오고 있으며 규격은 세계적으로 인정받고 있다. 우리나라는 한국표준규 격(Korean Standard)에 용접의 극히 일부분인 용접기기, 용접봉, 용접시험방법등이 정해져 있으며 그외에는 선진국의 규격을 그대로 이용하고 있는 현실이다. 이것은 외국의 규격이 공인된 점도 있겠지만 국내에는 아직 용접시공에 대한 규격이 없으며, 현장의 기술자나 기능공은 표준이나 규격을 따르지 않고 경험에 의해 작업하는 것이 보통이다. 그러나 지금은 주문자들의 요구에 의해 외국의 규격을 따르지 않을 수 없게 되어 있다. 이러한 관점에서 세계적으로 많이 이용되는 미국기계학회(American Society of Mechanical Engineers)규격 section IX을 조명하여 용접규 격의 전반적인 이해를 돕고자 한다.

Recently, the level of science and technology in our country has reached the level of the advanced countries. However, the level of standards/specifications was insufficient for support. In this study, after a review of the international atmosphere on defense specifications/standards and an investigation of the domestic present situation, three different perspectives of improvement scheme for the defense specifications/standard system are presented. First, in the defense standard classification system perspective, specifications, standards and handbook were defined based on their characteristic and properties. Second, in the perspective concerning the establishment procedure of defense standards/specifications, the bottom-up approach was suggested. Finally, in the perspective of the 'defense standards/specifications instructions', a reinforced drawing number system and other factors to overcome the current limitations are provided.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine various national standards and to suggest problems and improvements on KS (Korean Industrial Standards) in spectacle frames. Methods: We surveyed the latest published KS, ISO (International Organization for Standardization), JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards), DIN (Deutsches Institut fur Normung) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards with relating spectacle frames. The titles that were considered in comparative study were terms and vocabulary, measuring system and terminology, marking, requirements and test methods, formers, screw threads, and others. Results: There were 9 different languages such as English (USA and UK), French, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, German, Italian and Spanish for the lists of equivalent terms and vocabulary in all standards except KS and ANSI, but gave an explanation for terms and vocabulary in only KS. Complementary terms and definitions were not existed in annex of KS and ANSI for measuring system and terminology, but they were included in annex of standards of the others. KS and ANSI standard for requirements and test methods differed from the ISO revision. Except JIS and ANSI, standards of formers were almost identical. KS standard of screw threads were similar to JIS. Standards of welded joints and nickel release did not exist in KS. Conclusions: All standards except ANSI tend to follow ISO, especially DIN is almost entirely identical to ISO. But KS is behind the times because it has been amended lately or established in accordance with older editions of ISO. Therefore, in order to assist quality control and safety for spectacle frames, KS standards shall be superseded by the specifications which is identical to ISO within a reasonable time.

Based on the survey for munitions companies, we have tried to find current state of the application of Korean military specifications(KDS) and their references for munition products, and how they can be improved for a better management system. On average, Korean munitions companies have 660 of KS, 18 of U.S. military specifications, and 5 of foreign standards, and annually spend about 0.4 million won for KS, but 1.3 million won for foreign standards. In addition, they have emphasized the necessity of the integrated management system for KDS and the related drawings.

제1장에서는 CD-ROM의 호환성에 대해서 생각하였으며 특히 물리포맷과 논리포맷의 두가지가 있음을 기술하였고 제2장에서는 논리포맷의 표준화가 어떻게 시작되었는가에 대해 언급하였다. 제3장에서는 미국에서 검토가 진행되고 있는 표준규격안의 내용을 소개하고 제4장에서는 CD-ROM과 CD-I 포맷과의 관련에 대해 기술하였다.

우리나라에서는 전파법 시행령 제56조의 2항과 무선 설비 규격 제4절 및 관련 고시를 통하여 소출력 무선 설비들을 규정하고 있으나 대상 설비 중 극히 일부분만 세부적인 기술 기준이 설정되어 있는 실정이다. 따라서 이러한 소출력 무선기기 상호간의 혼신이나 타 기기와의 간섭으로 인하여 전파 질서의 안정에 위협받을 가능성이 있다. 본 고에서는 이와 같은 문제를 최소화하기 위해 미국의 소출력 무선기기에 대한 제도 및 표준 규격을 조사 조사분석하여 우리나라와 비교함으로써 국내 무선기기 관련 제도의 체계적 정립과 소출력 무선 설비의 형식 검정을 위한 표준 측정법의 정립에 기여하고자 한다.

현재 ITS 전용 통신장치로 사용되고 있는 DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) 시스템은 우선적으로 ETC(Electronic Toll Collection) 시스템에 사용되고 있으며, 여러 가지 ITS 서비스로 활용이 예상된다. 유럽과 일본, 미국에서는 이미 국가 또는 지역표준이 승인되었고, 국내에서는 초안이 완성된 단계이다. 본 고에서는 외국의 DSRC 규격에 대해 개략적인 설명을 하였다.
