A Study on Harbor Logistics in China (중국의 항만 물류집중화에 관한 연구 - 상하이항과 장강을 중심으로 -)

  • China has been the hub of business in Asia' and has developed infra-system and development policy on harbor and logistics. Investment on development of Sanghai port and fang river has been increasing. This development has put importance on logistics in East Asia Additionally, port surrounding of China has been activated Therefore, This paper is going to suggest three measures. First, shipping corporation of Korea will provide different services and network according to the growth of China logistics. Secondly, Korea is to invest with Chinese companies around fang river to freight service industry. Thirdly, it is to construct Yellow sea Rim transport network by Sanghai port and fang river development.

Competition and deconcentration of logistics companies in Vietnam focusing on domestic freight forwarders (베트남 물류기업의 경쟁 및 탈 집중화: 베트남 포워더를 중심으로)

  • The main objective of this study is to measure the concentration and deconcentration of the domestic freight forwarding system which illustrate the development trends in this industry. In this study, Herfindal-Hirschman index (HHI), shift-share analysis (SSA), and GINI coefficient combined with Lorenz curves were employed to investigate the domestic freight forwarders. The results are as follows: first, the HHI was used to assess the concentration of domestic freight forwarders in Vietnam. The downward trend from 0.117 in 2008 to 0.083 in 2018 indicate the deconcentration of domestic freight forwarders in Vietnam. Second, the SSA results indicated that the company Transimex showed the best performance with a shift effect of million VND 1,906,515 and a ABSGR value of million VND 2,158,232. Third, the GINI index go down from 0.468 to 0.393 in 2008-2018 as follow and the Lorenz curves covered a large part which make more demonstrate the deconcentration trend of freight forwarding in Vietnam. The results show that deconcentration is a trend in 2008-2018. The results of this study provides relevant data on freight forwarders which are not easily accessible to related stakeholders.

  • 최근 국제물류관리는 세계화기업의 초국가적 글로벌 경영활동과 고객욕구의 다양화로 인해 기업경영에 있어 중요한 요인으로 대두되고 있다. 특히 물류관리에 있어서 항만은 주요 지역거점 물류체계의 구축과 국제물류관리의 집중화 및 통합화로 인해 공급사슬체인 상에서의 기능 및 역할의 변화가 요구되어 지고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서, 본 연구는 지속적인 국제물류환경 변화와 해운환경 변화로 인해 새로이 요구되는 중심항만의 기능과 역할을 분석하고, 항만경영환경 변화에 성공적으로 대처하고 있는 싱가폴항만의 대응전략을 연구·분석하고자 한다. 또한 부산항과 싱가폴항의 비교분석을 토대로 부산항이 21세기 항만경영환경변화에 대한 대응전략을 제시하고자 한다.

Improvement for Facility Location Problem of Perishable Commodities (부패상품 임시물류센터에 대한 위치 문제 개선)

  • This paper suggests simple algorithm of facility location problem in perishable commodities that satisfy with minimum total transportation cost and within the transportation time constraint $L^*$. For this problem, Lee[4] suggests very complex algorithm that decides candidate facility locations, computes total transportation cost for each candidate facility location, then moving the location to optimal location for top two facilities. On the other hand, this paper simply determines the candidate facility locations within $L^*$ using subtree concept, and decides optimal minimal total transportation cost for top two locations in centralized area of required quantity using neighborhood concept.

  • This study found that was done to find the commercial and physical distribution system of the agricultural physical distribution center of the agricultural co-operation and considers the receipt region of agricultural, livestock and marine products of the agricultural physical distribution center established for the efficiency and integration of physical distribution by season. And this study clarified the relationship between regional characteristics and regional types of distribution in accordance with the sales of each product. According to the research, the agricultural physical distribution center of Cheongju agricultural co-operation receives agricultural, livestock and marine products from all over the country as the core region in Chungcheongbuk-do and deliveries mainly to some regions in Chungcheongbuk-do, Chungcheongnam-do and Daejeon city. That's e agricultural, livestock and marine products that the agricultural physical distribution center of the agricultural co-operation deals with the required freshness. Therefore, the physical distribution center forms the regional physical distribution system to mainly receive products from the regions where are relatively near the center and to delivery to the nearby region. This delivery of agricultural, livestock and marine product significantly influences the sales strategy as well as the economic principles of demand and supply.

  • This paper proposes regionally centralized multistage reverse logistics (cmRL) networks and regionally decentralized multistage reverse logistics (dmRL) networks. cmRL considers whole area of RL network, while dmRL regionally distributed area of RL network. Each type is formulated by the mixed integer programming (MIP) models, which are realized in genetic algorithm (GA) approach. Two types of numerical experiments using RL network are presented and various measures of performance are used for comparing the efficiency of the cmRL and the dmRL. Finally, it is proved that the performance of the cmRL is superior to that of the dmRL.

  • This case study for a homeshopping company shows that the management of returned apparels by the partnership system increases the velocity of the returned goods, which not only minimizes the products' value loss but also improves the company's management performance. By incorporating the partnership system, following significant performance improvements have been identified: First, decrease in transaction cost and time between the homeshopping company and the partnering companies. Second, concentration of production line, accurate schedule management of receipt/delivery as well as collection of goods. Third, improvement of efficiency in procedures of returned goods and quality improvement of product provided by the partner.

  • FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System)는 NC와 같이 다양한 종류의 공정을 수행할 수 있는 가공장비들이 자동화된 물류 운반 시스템(Material Handling System)으로 연결되어 있어 집중화된 제어 및 운용 시스템에 의해 여러 종류의 다양한 부품들을 동시에 가공할 수 있는 생산시스템으로 정의할 수 있다. FMS의 도입을 고려 중인 기업이 초기단계에서 가장 먼저 직면하게 의사결정 문제는 부품선정 문제이다. 즉, 현재 생산하고 있는 부품들 중에서 혹은 새로이 생산할 부품들 중에서 어떤 부품을 가공할 것인가를 결정하여야 한다. 이 문제의 중요성은 부품선정문제가 FMS의 운영에 필요한 가공장비, 치구 및 공구의 소요량 결정과 관련을 갖게되고 결과적으로는 FMS의 경제적 타당성 평가에 근본적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 연구에서는 FMS의 초기설계단계에서의 부품선택문제의 해결을 통한 FMS 경제적 타당성을 평가할 방법론 및 해결 방법을 제시할 것 이다.

A Study on the Concentration and Responses of Container Ports in China (중국 컨테이너 항만의 집중화와 대응에 관한 연구)

  • Ports as central factors of the logistics industry and principal bases in industrial activities play a significant role in the development of the social economy. This paper takes the throughput data from 2000 to 2014 of 10 container ports located in China as the research object with the Gini coefficient and employs the shift-share analysis. It aims to analyze the changes in port concentration and movement of container throughputs and propose a stage of development port system in China. The results are as follows. First, the system of container ports clearly moves northward. According to the above shift-share analysis, the throughput moves from the Pearl River Delta to the other two regions. This indicates that the center of Chinese container port system moves northward. Second, container port diversification development takes a representative position in the change of container throughput space structure. According to the calculation results of Gini coefficient, diversified development gradually predominates the change of container throughput space structure.
