In this study, six historical parks in Seoul is analyzed. Based on the analysis, the representative values of the historical parks in Seoul draw three criteria such as historicity, educational attributes, and sociality, and also the type of historic and cultural resources, spatial functions and arrangements, circulation and accessibility, and the type and usage of introduced facilities. Consequently the current status and improvement plan is suggested as follows. First, cultural assets oriented historical parks such as Sayuksin Bongeun and Seonnongdan historical Park focus on the management based on the preservation of historic and cultural resources. Non designated cultural heritages oriented historic parks such as Shingye Yanghwajin Itaewon-bugundang historic park should focus on the usages the symbolize and commemorate historic and cultural resources. Second, Careful attitudes on the historicity of the park are needed in the mixed type of historic and cultural resources that determine the identity such as Yanghwajin Itaewon-bugundang historic park. Third, the rate of facilities in Bongeun and Shingye historical park is increased due to the renovation of religion facilities, rather than the neighborhood parks. The autonomy of regulations that does not have the limits of the area of park facilities weaken the publicity of the historical parks. Fourth, Shingye historical park suggest changing its name into Danggogae martyrs' shrine historical park. because its historic and cultural resources are included as the historic park is named. Fifth, the current problems such as numerous uncontrolled entrances, mixed uses in circulation, and accessible failure due to the closure are recognized. Therefore, the entrances and circulations should be articulated clearly in order to increase opportunities of experience for visitors in the historic and cultural resources, and also neighborhood facility should be suitably divided. Sixth, the park facilities in the neighborhood parks are introduced equally in Seoul historical parks. The uses and arrangements that considered the circumstance of the historical parks should be determined in the cultural facilities such as outdoor music hall and sporting facilities. Seventh, historic facilities that named historic hall, culture hall, memorial hall, and promotion hall in the historic parks are utilized for convenience and religion facilities. Institutional framework should be examined to keep publicity in the historic parks by spatial privatization of the specific group.
Barrier-free films enhance accessibility to audiovisual image contents by providing specific information on screen and through sound so that people with vision or hearing loss can receive the same amount of information as those without disabilities and immerse themselves in the audiovisual images. This study pays attention to barrier-free audiovisual contents in relation to the cultural civil rights of people with vision or hearing loss in South Korea. While institutional efforts have been made in the 2010s to improve the access to audiovisual media of people with vision or hearing loss, the goal of enabling people with vision or hearing loss to fully enjoy all audiovisual contents at a level equal to the non-disabled has not yet been realized. Amid the lingering conflict between disabled groups and multiplexes that has lasted years, the global video streaming service Netflix has aggressively threatened the dominance of local multiplexes with the launch of its Korean service. As Netflix, which is subject to U.S. regulations guaranteeing the rights of people with vision or hearing loss, has produced original dramas and movies involving Korean production teams, the cultural civil rights discourse of the disabled has transitioned to the issue of the rights of cultural consumers crossing national borders in the era of globalization. Changes in the media environment raise the issue of civil rights guarantees in which disabled people enjoy the right to simultaneously watch movies and comment on movies by participating in a common discourse, equally with non-disabled people. The "right to be part of the audience for Korean cinema" for Korean deaf people, which has long been neglected, should also be considered as a cultural civil right that crosses the boundaries of language, nation and disabilities. This essay examines the current issues surrounding the right to cultural entertainment of people with vision or hearing loss in South Korea in conjunction with the contemporary trend of rapid changes in the media environment and the global spread of the movement for cultural civil rights of people with disabilities, and suggests the need for visual culture studies to take a serious step toward disability studies.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the effects of neonatal developmental intervention program (NDT) in promoting motor development and growth and to determine the usefulness of Hammersmith Neonatal Neurological Examination (HNNE) and Neonatal Behavioral Assessment Scale (NBAS) in premature infants. Methods: We performed NDT on selected premature infants (PI, n=42) and compared them with the full term control group (FC, n=20). NDT protocol and development assessment (HNNE, NBAS) were manipulated by the physical therapist in the neonatal intensive care unit. The data of this study were collected prospectively. Results: The PI with GA <34 weeks (VPI) subgroup showed a more use of mechanical ventilator and surfactant, severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia and intraventricular hemorrhage, and patent ductus arteriosus treated surgically than the PI with GA $\geq$34 weeks but less than 37 weeks (LPI) subgroup. The average scores improved significantly in the PI group between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd assessment by repeated measure (P=0.000). Also, the PI group showed significantly higher total scores and average score at 40 weeks postmenstrual age, P=0.000, respectively than in the FC group. The LPI subgroup showed more weight gain and change in the head circumference between the 1st and 3rd assessment by repeated measure, respectively, P<0.05. The PI group showed no apnea, bradycardia and late sepsis associated with intervention and assessment. Conclusion: The NDT might be a safe and useful intervention to promote motor and growth outcomes in premature infants. Also, the HNNE and NBAS might be safe and useful tools for assessing neurodevelopment in premature infants.

We evaluate the impact of near work has on myopia and how they differ across generation. The study subjects were 201(83 males and 118 females) adults who live in Cheongju and Daejeon. Myopia was defined as more than or equal to (-)2.50D. The subjects were divided myopic and control group. The surveys and eye tests that are related to near work and refractive error were conducted and the relationship between the degree of myopia and near work was investigated. Then, the groups were divided into people in their 20s and 30s and the comparisons were made again. The survey results showed significant differences between myopic and control groups that depended on: hours spent in school and outdoor activities during high school period, degree of refractive error caused by level of exercises during the junior high school and high school years, refractive error based on the type of high schools, also hours spent in school and outdoor activities. When the same question was done on the group in their 20s and 30s, there was a different outcome in trends between the groups and refractive error depending on whether they exercised. The degree of near work is one of the environmental risk factors that affect myopia and must be considered when studying myopic progression. However, when discussing specific behavioral patterns in relations to myopia prevention, culture and visual environment of a given generation must also be considered.

Einer der Wege, um die ${\ddot{o}}kologische$ Krise zu $l{\ddot{o}}sen$, ist das Finden des ${\ddot{o}}kologischen$ Gleichgewichts des Landes und des menschlichen $K{\ddot{o}}rpers$. Dieser Aufsatz behandelt mit dem Begriff von "Salim (Haushalten und Beleben)" die Beziehung des Menschen zum Land, und die Beziehung des Landes zum menschlichen $K{\ddot{o}}rper$. In $Ankn{\ddot{u}}pfung$ an das Konzept der ${\ddot{o}}kologischen$ "Salim" laufen bei diesem Aufsatz $vielf{\ddot{a}}ltige$ Argumente wie die Beziehung des Menschen zum Land als ${\acute{e}}coum{\acute{e}}n$ Ethik, "Salim des Landes" und "Salim des $K{\ddot{o}}rpers$" zusammen. Das ${\ddot{o}}kologische$ Ungleichgewicht im 21. Jahrhundert weist darauf hin, dass die menschliche Beziehung zum Land als einem Platz der menschlichen Besiedlung bis jetzt nicht gesund war. Das Anfordern der ${\acute{e}}coum{\acute{e}}n$ Ethik von heute erweist sich, dass wir herausarbeiten $m{\ddot{u}}ssen$, die gesundliche Beziehung des Menschen zum Land wieder zu beleben. Im Kapitel 3, in $Anschlu{\ss}$ an das Konzept der ${\ddot{o}}kologischen$ "Salim" des Landes, ist die Tatsache in Betracht zu ziehen, dass das Land nicht einfach wirtschaftlichen Wert hat, sondern zur Gemeinschaft des kosmischen Lebens $geh{\ddot{o}}rt$. Mit dem Konzept der ${\ddot{o}}kologischen$$K{\ddot{o}}rper$-Salim, versucht das Kapitel 4 darzulegen, wie der menschliche $K{\ddot{o}}rper$ im kosmischen Lebenszyklus beteiligt ist. Heute, konfrontiert mit der Amnesie vom Leben des Landes und mit dem $Sch{\ddot{a}}den$ des $K{\ddot{o}}rper-{\ddot{o}}kosystems$, sollten wir unser Bewusstsein und unsere Lebensweise $ver{\ddot{a}}ndern$ und die ${\ddot{o}}kologischen$ Salim-Bewegung in die Praxis setzen.
This study try to establish the method on the archiving of a village experimentally. For this study three standpoints were investigated. We discriminate between the theory and practice on general archives management and village archiving. We should grasp that the practice of village archiving is a means to the movement of village community reconstruction. And we clear up the point that village archiving head for the community ownership and the communication. This study clarified what were the constituent units in a village and what were the archives that were producted by the constituent units in a village. It is helpful for the development of the strategy on a village to identify concretely the objects of village archiving. The main body who lead the village archiving is not archivist only. But he should be a man who serve his community and have the competency to deal with archives professionally simultaneously. Max Weber claimed that the clans as a self-sufficient community in traditional China had limited market development. His statement can be applied to the lineage groups of $Chos{\breve{o}}n$ dynasty, however, it also could be criticized as an example of oversimplifying clans. Starting from this question, in this article, I examined the lineage movement of the P'ap'yong Yun's Nojongp'a branch. Through this research, I tried to investigate the reality of the lineage group communities of $Chos{\breve{o}}n$. My issues are following. First, the Nojongp'a clan promoted the solidarity movement of their lineage in the name of practicing human morality, which belonged to their family learning. Second, the Nojongp'a clan made preparations for their own 'righteous rice fields and grains', through which they tried to establish the base structure for the clan activities. This, however, had its own limitations in aiding the starved suffering from famines and did not last long. Third, the lineage could not function as a community for living that was actively involved in the reproduction of life, and was not an exclusive self-sufficient community, either.

This study analyzed the behaviors and satisfaction of park users in nine parks representing first and second-generation new towns, aiming to propose directions for planning new town parks. According to the analysis, park users in new towns mainly visit parks for purposes such as relaxation, strolling, and exercise, often with family, alone, or with friends. They typically spend 1-2 hours in the park and mostly access it on foot. Additionally, satisfaction with park accessibility is high, particularly among pedestrians. Satisfaction survey results indicate that pedestrian pathways, trees and vegetation, water features, rest areas, and cultural facilities have the greatest impact on overall park satisfaction. Playgrounds and sports facilities show relatively lower satisfaction levels, indicating a need for improvement. Furthermore, according to NPS analysis, park users are highly willing to recommend parks, especially with Gwanggyo Lake Park and Dongtan Central Park receiving high recommendation scores. IPA analysis shows that pathways and vegetation are perceived as highly important and satisfactory, while playgrounds and sports facilities are categorized as areas needing improvement. Thus, there is a need to consider improvement strategies for each. Additionally, identifying park users' grievances can lead to creating a better park environment. Finally, concerning the planning direction for new town parks, linear-shaped parks facilitating walking are preferred, with parks preserving natural terrain and forests deemed the most desirable. Based on these results, future city parks, including those in the third-generation new towns, should harmonize with nature and prioritize pedestrian access.
This article is a socio-cultural research on the fitness members by employing an original synthesis of the work of Elias and Bourdieu. The purpose of this research is to provide a multidimensional and in-depth analysis of fitness members, by researching the relationship between body groups with differing economic and cultural capital (e.g. Gangnam and Gangbuk, private and public center). Through interviews and participant observation, the established and outsider relations of fitness members in both Gangnam and Gangbuk are examined (Gangnam 12: Gangbuk 12). Participants in social space differentiated by fitness capital and socio-economic positions gather in certain spaces that identify them as members of the same class location: the established body in Gangnam (Gangnam E), the outsider body in Gangnam (Gangnam O), the established body in Gangbuk (Gangbuk E), and the outsider body in Gangbuk (Gangbuk O). The E-O figuration of the body in fitness clubs shows differences in their body tastes and habitus (selecting a fitness centre, body ostentation, social assessment, making muscles, participation in other sports) and civilizing process (fitness manners and etiquette). The fitness centers in Gangnam and Gangbuk were not simply spaces for exercise but symbolic spaces that both recreate and perpetuate socio-cultural hierarchies between members.
When the Information age led by media comes, The literature yielded its prominence to visual media, and the Korean literature also faced a crisis, prompted by decreased demand for it. In this reality, literature festivals which have increased rapidly since 1995 and currently number at least 110, when the local government system was launched, played an important role in promoting literature to the society. This thesis has selected Manhae Festival, one of the most vibrant and successful, as the case study to analyze its present status and accomplishments to derive ways for improvement which can be used to promote policies on literature. Manhae Festival which celebrates Manhae Han Yongun, a poet and an independence activist, also became one of the top literature festivals through Manhae Grand Awards and various cultural, art and academic events, despite being held in Inje County, Gangwon Province, a remote location. Based on this study, in the near future, Manhae Village, as a complex cultural venue, as a If we can make the place into complex cultural space and with additional policy support by gaining political supports like designation as Slowcity and special zone of culture and tourism, and pursuing glocalization by making Manhae into a star brand, Manhae Festival will cement its current position as a successful literary festival. It has very meaningful since most of literature festivals operate in small scale. Now, we need to develop literature festivals into local ones by attracting larger popularity. Meanwhile, a more comprehensive study, in the future, is needed with special emphasis on successful literary policies and their precedents in other countries.
