한·미 문화간 비교를 통하여 직물의 소리와 촉감이 주관적 감각에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고자 한국인과 미국인 각각 30명을 대상으로 의미분별척도에 의하여 서로 다른 8개 직물 소리의 주관적 감각(부드러움, 시끄러움, 유쾌함, 날카로움, 맑음, 거친, 높음)과 촉감의 주관적 감각 (딱딱함, 매끄러움, 성김, 시원함, 유연함, 까실거림, 무게, 두께)을 측정하였다. 직물 소리의 파라미터로 LPT(level pressure of total sound)와 Δf (frequency differences)를 계산하고, KES (Kawabata Evaluation System)을 이용하여 직물의 역학적 성질을 측정하였다. 직물의 소리에 대하여 ‘부드러움’의 점수가 높고 ‘시끄러움’과 ‘날카로움’, ‘거침’의 점수가 낮은 직물들이 주관적으로 유쾌하게 느껴지는 것으로 나타났다. 직물에 따른 소리의 시끄러움과 날카로움, 높음에 대한 주관적 감각은 한·미 간에 유사한 경향을 보였으나, 한국인은 미국인보다 모직물의 소리에 대하여 ‘부드러움’과 ‘유쾌함’의 점수가 높고, ‘거침’의 점수가 낮았으며, ‘맑음’에 대한 직물별 점수가 다양하였다. 직물의 촉감은 직물에 따른 차이가 더 다양하게 나타났다. ‘딱딱함’과 ‘매끄러움’의 직물 별 감각은 한 ·미 간에 유사한 경향을 보였는데, 한국인은 대체로 미국인보다 ‘성금’과 ‘까실거림’을 낮게, ‘시원함’을 높게 평가하였다. 직물 소리의 파라미터인 LPT와 ΔL이 양국인의 소리 감각에 영향을 미쳤는데, 한국인의 감각은 주로 LPT가, 미국인의 감각은 LPT와 ΔL이 함께 영향을 미치는 회귀식이 성립하였다. 촉감에서 ‘딱딱함’과 ‘매끄러움’, ‘유연함’, ‘까실거림’에 한·미 모두 표면 거칠기가 영향을 미쳤는데, 한국인의 촉감에 대한 회귀식이 더 많이 성립하였고 R2가 높게 나타났다.

The main objective of this study is to identify and analyze the factors affecting technology innovation of the innovative IT SMEs. A research model is established based on the previous studies on the technology innovation of SMEs. The model consists of independent variables (Adhocracy culture, R&D capability, IT capability, Leadership, and Appraisal & Reward), an intermediate variable (Knowledge management), and dependent variables (product/service innovation and process innovation). Major research results can be summarized as follows: IT SMEs pursuing technology innovation should: (1) pay attention to innovation oriented culture, IT capability, and evaluation & compensation systems of the company; (2) recognize that knowledge management is an essential activity performed by the company; (3) strengthen the R&D capabilities of the company by not only exerting internal efforts but establishing cooperative network with various parties; and (4) resolve the decoupling problem of the evaluation & compensation system.

This study analyzed the effect of perceived service quality for the local content production policy on the service user satisfaction, reuse intention, and the recommendation intention. First, reliability, responsiveness, and adequacy were identified as the service quality evaluation criteria of the local content production policy. Second, all of the quality evaluation criteria had a positive effect on the service user satisfaction. Third, responsiveness had a positive effect on reuse intention, and responsiveness and reliability had a positive effect on recommendation intention. Fourth, the service user satisfaction had a positive effect on the reuse intention and recommendation intention. Therefore, this study has the significance of presenting a theoretical model for the service quality evaluation of the local content production policy, and suggesting perspective for the improvement of the policy.

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between Korean traditional culture awareness, Korean dance image, cultural heritage preservation, and the intention for Korean teens to experience Korean dance. The respondents were 459 middle and high school students within Seoul and the Gyeonggi Province. The following results were obtained: First off, it was discovered that only interest in Korean traditional culture had a significant impact on the image of Korean dance. Also that Korean traditional culture education and utilization create the overall impact on the image of Korean dance. Secondly, the image of Korean dance was found to have a significant impact on the preservation of Korean cultural heritage. Next, the image of Korean dance was found to have a significant impact on the intention of teens to experience Korean dance. Finally, cultural heritage preservation was not found to have a significant impact on the teens intention to experience Korean dance.

This study analyzed the effect of small maufacturing businesses' company culture on organizational performance. The study results showed that personal culture(one's organizational commitment) positively affected job satisfaction and improving creativity. Organizational culture(harmony of organization) and environmental culture(importance of environmental factors) didn't significantly affected organizational perfirmance. Also, organizational commitment was varied by employee's position, harmony of organization was varied by age, education and continuous service year, job satisfaction and creativity was varied by education. This study provided implications for analyzing the importance of personal organizational environmental factors and dicovering individual diffrences of the employees.

본 논문에서는 사람이 환경을 통해 경험하는 미학적 경험(aesthetic experience)을 체계화시킨 이론적 모델(a conceptual model of affect and cognition interface in aesthetic experiences of landscapes)이 간단히 소개 되며, 이 모델을 검증하기 위한 연구가 중점적으로 다루어진다. 제시된 모 델은 경관의 미학적 경험을 감정(affect)과 인지(cognition)와의 상호작용 (interface)으로 설명하고 있으며, 세 가지 요소(사람이 환경에 대하여 갖고 있는 목적 : tasks, 사람의 모든 과거경험에 근거한 지식일체 : schematic knowledge, 환경의 독특한 상황 : environmental situation)를 미학적 경험 의 주요인자로 제시한다. 이 모델을 검증하기 위한 연구에서는 앞에서 소 개된 미학적 경험의 세 가지 요소(사람의 목적, 지식, 환경상황)를 과학적 이고 계량적이고 처리할 수 있도록 세부요소로 분류정의 (operationalization)하였다. 구체적으로, 사람의 목적은 환경을 평가하는 세 가지 목적, 즉 경치평가(scenic beauty judgment), 들놀이 목적으로서의 평가(picnic preference judgment), 주거목적으로서의 평가(living preference judgment)로 분류되었고, 이 세 가지 환경평가는 미학적 경험의 지표로 사용되었다. 사람의 지식은 국적에 근거한 문화적인 지식(cultural schema : 한국인과 텍사스인)과 직업에 근거한 사회적인 지식(social schema : 농부, 비농부, 조경학과 학생)으로 분류되었으며, 환경상황은 환 경의 아름다움(beauty : 아름다운 경관과 아름답지않은 경관)과 환경의 의 미(meaning : 긍정적인 의미가 있는 한국경관, 긍정적인 의미가 없는 한국 경관, 긍정적인 의미가 있는 미국 텍사스경관)로 분류되었다. 연구결과를 보면, 이론적 모델에서 소개된 세 가지 요소들 (사람의 목적, 지식, 환경상 황) 모두가 경관의 미학적 경험에(경치평가, 들놀이 선호도, 주거지 선호 도) 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 이 연구결과는 제시된 이론적 모델을 뒷받침하고 있다. 특히, 가장 흥미로운 연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 사람의 문화적인 지식은 단독으로 미학적 경험에 영향을 주는 것이 아니라 다른 요소들(특히 사회적인 지식과 목적)과의 상호작용을 통해 미학적 경 험을 형성한다는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 환경의 아름다움은 다른 세부요소 들(환경의 의미, 사람의 목적과 지식)보다 미학적 경험에 주는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 모든 사람들에게 비슷한 미학적 경험을 발생시키는 것 이 밝혀졌다. 다시 말하면 모든 사람들은 그들의 문화적인 국적과 사회적 인 직업의 차이, 목적의 차이, 또한 환경의 의미의 차이에 상관없이 아름다 운 경관(High-beauty landscape)을 주거지나 나들이 장소로서 선호했으며, 아름답다고 평가했다. 반면에, 사람들이 갖고 있는 문화의 차이, 직업의 차 이, 목적의 차이, 그리고 환경의 의미의 차이에 따라 경관의 미학적 평가가 달라진 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of North Korea defectors' living experiences in South Korea on their self-perceptions and perceptions of South Korea. For this purpose, a questionnaire was distributed to 66 defectors with no living experiences at all and 99 defectors with living experiences of an average of 2.7 years in South Korea. They were asked to rate their own as well as South Koreans' values, personality, attitudes toward sexual misbehavior, gender stereotypes. Also, they evaluated the society of South Korea and its political control. The results indicated that those defectors with living experiences tended to perceive more negatively their own and South Koreans as well, and yet that they were less negative for sexual misbehavior and weaker for gender stereotypes. Also, results suggested that living experiences led defectors to perceive South Korea in a more negative way. Those findings were discussed in terms of changes in culture.

A human in urban areas has depended on ecosystem for well-being, so it is important to evaluate urban ecosystem services which contribute significantly to human well-being. In this study we classified ecosystem functions and set indicators used for evaluating ecosystem services of urban park by Delphi method. As a result, it derived 12 items and 14 indicators of ecosystem services to evaluate them such as vegetable garden, canopy cover, biodiversity, and educational programs. Based on the derived evaluation indicators, the feasibility of the indicators was examined by applying to two urban parks, Maetan park and Seoho-Ggotme park, in Suwon City. We also suggested strategies to improve each ecosystem services based on the results of evaluation. It is significant to recognize unknown services in urban parks. The results can be used for improving urban ecosystem services consistently in response to current rapid urbanization. In the future, the city should make a master plan on ecosystem service on urban area, beyond urban park, considering both of quality and quantity.

This study aims to examine association between festival service evaluation attribute and behavior intention of visitors and research satisfaction with festival, second visit and recommendation intention, ultimately in order to suggest measures to establish market strategies. The study was conducted as follows. First, a total of 360 pieces of questionnaire were distributed from October 14 to 16, 2011 and a total of 335 pieces were collected. Except 15 pieces without responses, 320 were used for the study. Second, in service evaluation elements, program, facility and performance review had positive impacts on the satisfaction and second visit. All evaluation elements also positively affected recommendation intention. Third, in association between demographic features and satisfaction, second visit and recommendation intention, while the satisfaction positively influenced bringing a friend, it negatively influenced academic background and income. In addition, residence and job gave a positive affect on second visit, while income, bringing family and first visit gave a negative effect on the second visit. Last, age, academic background, income and bringing family gave a negative effect on recommendation intention.

Because many of patients seeking orthodontic treatment worry about the facial appearance and their chief motivation for orthodontic treatment is facial esthetics, it is critical to understand the influence of gender or culture on the evaluation of profile esthetics. The purpose of this study was to find out any influence of gender or culture on judging good facial profile. 4 different groups were asked to evaluate 133 facial profiles to test the influence of gender or culture on judging good facial profiles. Those 4 groups consisted of 10 Korean males, 10 Korean females, 10 Korean American males, and 10 Korean American females. 2 evaluation systems were introduced, absolute and relative. Soft tissues of selected good profile group were analyzed and statistic analysis was performed. Conclusions were as follows 1. Inter-evaluator difference for judging good facial profile was statistically significant, even if there was general agreement for the best profile among 40 raters. 2. Gender difference under the same cultural environment was not significant statistically. 3. The same ethnic groups with different cultural background showed statistically different preference on judging good Profile. 4. Good facial profile group had their own characteristics compared to remaining group in several soft tissue measurements which were vertical facial ratio, soft tissue facial convexity, and antero-posterior relative lip position.
