A Survey on the Risk Management of Korean Banks (국내 은행의 위험관리 실태)

  • 본 연구는 총 26개의 시중은행과 지방은행을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 국내 은행의 위험관리 실태를 분석하였다. 나아가 정상은행과 경고은행 및 퇴출은행의 위험관리 행태에 차이가 있는 지를 살펴보았다. 조사 결과, 최고경영자나 임원이 위험관리 부서의 책임자로 있는 경우는 없고, 금융파생상품의 사용 등 관련사항의 보고가 효과적으로 이루어지지 않고, 감사위원회 역시 외부전문가를 둔 은행이 전혀 없는 것으로 조사되어 경영층의 위험관리 인식에 문제가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 위험관리에 관한 평가나 최고경영자에 대한 보고주기도 일정하지 않은 경우가 많았다. 위험 유형별로는 신용위험, 시장위험 및 유동성위험을 잘 인식하고 있는 반면, 운영위험이나 법적 위험에 대한 인식은 부족하였다. 위험관리 담당자의 교육 주기가 비정기적으로 이루어지고 있다고 응답한 경우가 60%로 가장 높았으며, 40%의 은행이 법적 위험 발생 시 책임소재가 분명하지 않다고 응답하였다. 시장위험 관리에 있어서도 매일 VaR값과 실제 손익을 정기적으로 비교한다고 응답한 경우는 15%에 불과하여 취약성을 드러냈다. 절반 정도의 은행은 금융파생상품을 전혀 이용하지 않고 있었다. 흥미롭게도 정상은행과 비정상은행 간 또는 비퇴출은행과 퇴출은행 간에 일부 항목을 제외하고는 행태 차이가 없었다. 결론적으로, 국내 은행의 위험관리는 전반적으로 미흡하여 체계적인 위험관리 시스템의 구축이 요구된다고 하겠다. 특히, 위험관리에 대한 최고경영층의 인식 제고가 요망되며, 합리적 은행구조조정을 위해서는 당해 은행의 위험관리 실태와 그에 따른 경영책임을 파악해야 할 것이다.

  • 본 논문은 전문대학 의료정보관련 자격증 문제은행을 개발하기 위해 여러 가지 자격증별로 중복되는 세부과목에 대한 통합관리와 반복적 모의고사관리, 문제관리(출제, 복사, 채점), 온/오프라인 및 원격지 학습을 가능하도록 시스템을 구성하였다. 이를 통해 실제 전문대학의 수업시간에 활용이 가능하도록 문제은행의 유형, 출력, 풀이방법, 답안의 조정이 편리한 웹 서비스에 중점을 두고 개발하였다. 또한 국가고시 5지선다와 민간자격증 4지선다 문항을 통합관리하며, 과목별문제출제 및 자격증별 비율에 맞는 문제출제도 가능하도록 설계하였다.

  • The educational system has been changed owing to Web, which is most actively used on internet and has the characteristics of providing suitable environments for implementing constructivism study theory. WBI(Web Based Instruction), web-mediated teaching form for students at a long distance, has the advantages of possible interact between instructors and learners, offering a great variety of learning materials, and overcome the spatiotemporal restriction. This paper focuces on the construction of learning surroundings where the learner-centered, active learning can be done by design and Implementation of web based instruct system providing a sham examination with an item pool system. The web based Self-directed Learning system for word processor qualifying exams on this paper, can be mentioned as a real item pool that the question is not setting each time by the instructors but can be reused by reference on item pool bank, designed the number of question. It helps the learner Self-directed Learning study with evaluation during the web based instruct process and immediate feedback. It also provides the chance to research some similar using keyword. To sum up, this system can amplify the efficiency of study.

  • Microfinance has been an important tool for the economic growth and poverty alleviation. But the success factors and risk factors have not been synthesized in academic literature. This article has paid attention to success factors and potential risk of the Grameen Bank. Grameen Bank methodology is almost the reverse of the conventional banking methodology. Conventional banking is based on the principle that the more you have, the more you can get. Founder of Grameen Bank, Professor Yunus pointed out that, "The least you have the highest you have the priority to receive a loan". On the basis of theoretical literature, there have been different kinds of success factors of microfinance observed in this paper. Key success factors of Grameen Bank are like these: innovation, strict administrative structure, adaptation and learning practice, incentive system. Complementary services such as business consulting and brokerage will contribute to borrowers' economic performance development.

  • In this research, we proposed a learner tailoring question recommendation system for web based learning evaluation system. For teaming evaluation process, this system used the item difficulty Each question was stored and managed to the question bank. Item difficulty was recalculated during teaming process and feedback in next course. For learner tailoring question recommendation, learner could choice the teaming part and set the learning difficulty. In application result of proposal method, almost learner could improve learning score by controling teaming difficulty.

  • Recent advances in the Web technology have been changing our life in various aspects. These advances have brought us new paradigms of education. The Web provides teachers with many opportunities to implement wide ranges of new teaching and learning practices, which supplement the traditional classroom teaching-learning. Especially, the Web enables so-called WBI (Web-based instruction) system as a teaching aid. Now the WBI system can incorporate multimedia information with various communication and collaborative tools. In order for the WBI system to be successful, various supports are necessary. One of such supports comes from assessment. In this work, an item pool system for leveled assessment is designed and implemented. The proposed system has the following characteristics. First, the item pool is classified into three categories subject, semester, and chapter. This categorization makes lookup easier and faster. Second, any teacher can use the item pool system and enter their questions into the item pool. Third, the proposed system reflects various levels of students for each course. Thus, students can select their exams based on their progress and background. Finally, it can make difficulty of each item to be objective by repeated tests and refinements.

  • The purpose of this study was to help retrieve and assess only what learner wants. The multiple-choice and short-answer types were selected. and a sort of a question bank was organized in consideration of the degree of difficulty and frequency of being questioned in such a way to have a discriminating power. For item retrieval the stored information was converted into XML data, instead of simply searching information from database. and that data were retrieved through Xpath. And it's designed to show the retrieval output by using XML on browser. Concerning item evaluation. evaluation items were produced by inputting the degree of difficulty and frequency of being questioned of the subject and unit learner wants. and then by inputting the number of individual item type. The learning outcome was offered in real time to learner. and learner could repeatedly drill what they gave a wrong answer.

  • As a consequence of expansion in information technology, various services continually have been provided us through the internet in these days. Since the beginning of the mobile service, contents for its service actively have been developing now; there fore, the existing internet service system is gradually changing into the wireless mobile service system. However, mobile service now in use is mostly for entertainment such as bell sound, game and so on. The existing contents are very insufficient to satisfy the education. In this thesis, we have developed new mobile contents that are combined with Item Pool System. Students can connect to the learning contents by using the mobile device in anywhere and anytime in order to promote the efficiency of study.

  • 최근 우리나라의 발달된 인터넷 인프라를 활용한 원격 강의나 WBI에서의 평가 시스템 및 웹 기반 문제은행에 관한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 연구들의 구성주의에 기반한 개별화 교육 및 평가의 관점을 벗어나 기존의 평가 방범의 장점을 살리면서 평가와 동시에 결과를 참고하여 교육활동을 전개할 수 있고, 평가 문항의 자동화된 분석을 통하여 평가의 질을 개선시킬 수 있는 문제 은행 시스템을 구현하였다. 또 한 클래스의 학생 모두가 같은 수준으로 동시에 실시하는 총괄 평가 뿐 아니라 학습자의 누적된 평가 결과를 분석한 결과로 수준별 평가도 실시할 수 있는 범용성을 가지는 실시간 평가 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

  • Today's new engine of economic growth is innovative technology intensive SMEs. However, they have limited access to funding because of asymmetric information problems. Sharing of SME information helps reduce information asymmetry. This paper explains the Korean system of SME technology information sharing, as well as SME credit information sharing. It also provides theoretical analysis about the effects of the SME information sharing on banks' credit analysis activities, based on Karapetyan and Stacescu (2013). Sharing of SME credit and technology information expands the data set of banks and it will enhance their credit analysis. In addition, SME information sharing increases banks' investments in credit analysis activities. To encourage SME information sharing and production, the government can subsidize the production of SME technology information.
