Effects of Gas-absorbent on the Storage of Kimchi (김치 저장성에 미치는 가스 흡수제의 영향)

  • Kimchi attached gas-absorbent and unattached one were stored at 20$^{\circ}C$, examined for the storage effects by measuring changes of pH, acidity, CO$_2$ contents, total microbe and lactic acid bacteria. pH of kimchi attached KOH is higher than that of the others during storage. Acidity of kimchi attached KOH is lower than that of the others during storage. The CO$_2$ contents of kimchi used KOH as Bas-absorbent is 1.5 mg% at 6 days, after it's value is constant during storage. And the CO$_2$ content of kimchi attached gas-absorbent is lower than that of kimchi unattached gas-absorbent. Total microbe number of kimchi unattached gas-absorbent, treated Ca(OH)$_2$ and treated KOH are the highest value at 6, 6 and 8 days, respectively. Lactic acid bacteria number of kimchi is increased during storage and that of kimchi attached gas-absorbent is higher than that of kimchi unattached gas-absorbent.

Effects of Fruit Surface Spray of Lime Fertilizer on the Mineral Content of Fruit Skin and Quality in 'Campbell Early' Grapes (석회비료 과면살포에 따른 포도 '캠벨얼리' 과피의 무기성분 함량 및 과실 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of fruit skin spray of the lime fertilizer in 'Campbell Early' grapes. The T-N, P, K, Ca and Mg of fruit skin and cluster weight, berry weight, cluster length showed no difference between control and lime fertilizer. But soluble solids in fruit was reduced by fruit skin spray of liquid calcium fertilizer extracted from oyster shell after bagging(LCaB). The anthocyanin content of fruit skin was decreased by air-slaked lime(HCa) and LCaB treatment. Also, occurrence of fruit skin bloom was significantly reduced by HCa and oyster shell powder(OS-CaP) treatment. The berry firmness was significantly increased through liquid calcium fertilizer extracted from oyster shell(LCa) and HCa treatment. Conspicuously, berry elasticity was rather decreased by OS-CaP treatment. However, there was no difference of weight loss of fruit among treatments during room temperature storage.

  • Weeds may compete detrimentally with the ginseng for moisture and nutrients but hand weeding is the only practical means of eliminating weeds after crop establishment. To define the effects of 2, 4-D herbicide application on the plant growth and root yield of Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer). the herbicide 2, 4-D was applied as a foliar spray with the rates of 0.5. 1.0. 1.5 and 2.0 times of the recommended herbicide dosage 70ml/l0a. The Korean ginseng treated with 2, 4-D in the rate of two times concentration was indistinguishable from nontreated plants in visual rating for foliar symptoms. There were no significant differences of the leaf length and width as well as the stem length and diameter in check plants and those recieving 2, 4-D treatments. The. berry maturing in 3 and 4-years old ginseng was not inhibited with 2, 4-D treatment. The root weight of the 4-years old ginseng plant was not reduced by 2, 4-D application of 2 times dosage. However. when the ginseng seedling was treated with 2, 4-D. detrimental phenomena as stem bending and dicoloration of marginal part of seedling leaf were occured but stem bending was recovered in a few days.

  • '1974년에 창립한 삼창기업 주식회사는 고리원자력발전소가 정상 운전 중 발생할 수 있는 결함처리, 일상 예방정비 및 계획 예방정비 업무를 수행하면서 무재해 10배라는 경이로운 기록을 달성하였다. 이는 부산지역 내에서 다섯 손가락 안에 들어가는 대기록으로 지역 안전문화 정착에 기폭제로 충분하다. 특히 삼창기업(주) 산업재해의 온상이라는 100인 미만의 소규모 사업장이라는 점에서 이들의 무재해 기록은 의미가 크다 할 수 있다.

Effect of Some Swelling Agents on Soaking Treatment of Raw Silk (생사의 침지처리에서 팽화약제처리 효과)

  • This study was carried out to elucidate the effective of some swelling agents on the soaking treatment of raw silk. The swelling of raw silk is commonly practiced by soaking in warm water, However, it is not enough to weaving of raw silk. Therefore, the combination of some chemical agents were tested to improve the swelling ratio of raw silk. The pretreatment of raw silk in 0.4N sodium carbonate aqueous solution before soaking in the mixed solution of Emulon 1 g/l, Emanol 0.5 g/l and 0.04N sodium silicate increased the swelling ratio by 57%, compared to the nontreatment. In SEM observation, the surface of raw silk soaked in swelling agents was swollen and smoothed.

  • Effect of the microbial product, which consisted of Bacillus coagulans DL-1 and rice bran, on the microorganisms in soil and growth of cabbage and tomato was investigated. Bacillus congulans DL-1 was isolated form the soil and identified in this study. Total number of microorganisms in the soil treated with the microbial product was higher than the untreated soil. The growth of cabbage and tomato on the soil treated with microbial product was faster than that on the untreated soil. The treatment of microbial product in the soil resulted in the increase of useful microorganisms, which seemed to enhance the growth of cabbage and tomato. It seemed that microbial product can increase the number of certain microorganisms and change the ratio of different species of microorganisms.

Effect of Singeing Time on Physico-Chemical Characteristics of Duck Meat (오리육의 화염 처리 수준에 따른 이화학적 특성)

  • Singeing has always been equated with meat color alteration through lipid oxidation and microbial population. Singeing method has always been employed far removing duck feathers, however, the effect of singeing on storage characteristic of duck meat has not been investigated extensively. The study was therefore, designed to Investigate the effect of singeing on duck meat during storage extensively. For the purpose, study was categorized into three groups namely A, B, and C, representing 0, 50 and 70 seconds of singeing time. Singeing was performed on 100 birds in each group, however, only 20 singed birds from each treatment groups were further selected to analyse them subsequently during storage. Analysis revealed that with 70 seconds singeing time drip loss was significantly (p<0.05) higher at $6mgf/cm^2$ compared to 50 seconds of singeing. With 70 seconds treatment breast meat apparently appeared black, where as with 50 seconds treatment no change was observed. Breast showed low redness with more duration of treatment compared to less treatment duration. Yellowness increased, springiness declined and no change was observed in cohesiveness and chewiness with high treatment time. There was increase in the TBARS and VBN, freshness did not change for first 5 days, however, K values started to increase later on indicated decline in freshness. Conclusively, it was inferred from the study that 50 seconds singeing does not make much alternation in the quantitative traits and at the same time maintains the microbial level under permissible limit.

  • 기존의 엔진제어기(ECU)는 주요 mapping data(ECU에 대응되는 값)들에 대해서 기밀성과 무결성을 제공하는 보호 기법의 부재로 인해 임의적인 튜닝이 가능하다는 특징이 존재하였다. 이로 인해 자칫 잘못된 튜닝이나 악의적인 조작이 발생할 수 있는 여지가 있으며, 이는 차량 엔진 및 조작의 안정성을 떨어뜨림과 동시에 운전자 및 보행자들의 안전을 위협할 수 있다는 문제가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 ECU에 적용되는 Firmware의 주요 mapping data를 안전하게 암호화하는 방식을 제안하며, 이 과정에서는 차량의 식별 및 ECU에 mapping 되는 data의 무결성 검증을 위해 인증서를 사용하는 방식을 제안한다. 본 논문의 제안을 통해 주요 mapping data를 안전하게 보호하는 기술을 통해 차량의 안전성을 유지할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 현재 표준화 작업이 진행되고 있는 MS사의 M-JPEG을 이용하여 녹화 및 재생이 가능한 감시 시스템의 구현에 대해 설명한다. 기존 아날로그 감시 시스템의 단점인 여러번 재생시 화질 저하와 카메라에 비디오를 연결해야 하는 비효율성을 극복하기 위해 개발된 이 시스템은 사용자들에게 최대의 감시 효율을 제공할 수 있다. 이 무인 감시 시스템은 디지털 기술을 활용하여 모든 화상 처리와 화면 전환을 컴퓨터로 처리함으로서 여러 가지 다양한 모드의 감시환경을 제공하고 뛰어난 화면 capture기능으로 선명한 화질을 제공하여 감시 효과를 극대화시킬 수 있고 원하는 장면을 찾기 위한 검색 기능을 제공함으로서 사용자들에게 편리함을 제공할 수 있다. 본 시스템 구현에 사용된 H/W는 펜티엄-II 333과 카메라 16대 그리고 스위치 보드, MPEG capture 보드를 사용했으며 구동 S/W는 Visual C++로 제작하였다.

Certificateless Signature for Authentication and Key Agreement (인증 및 키 합의를 위한 무인증서 서명 기술)

  • 사용자 인증 및 키 합의 프로토콜은 두 사용자의 안전한 통신에 필수적인 세션키를 생성하는 프로토콜이다. 전자서명과 디피-헬만(Diffie-Hellman) 키 합의 프로토콜을 이용하여 인증 및 키 합의를 수행할 수 있으나, 각각의 파라미터 정보를 모두 공유해야한다는 단점이 있다. 이에 ID 기반 서명을 이용하여 인증과 키 합의를 동시에 수행할 수 있는 프로토콜이 제안되었는데, 기본적으로 ID 기반 서명은 키 위탁(key escrow) 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 상호 인증과 키 합의를 동시에 수행할 수 있는 무인증서 (certificateless, CL) 서명 기법을 설계하고, 이를 이용한 인증 및 키 합의 프로토콜을 제안한다.
