When it comes to current balance, both of Korea and China enjoy the trade surplus in goods while both countries suffer trade deficit in service. This facts demonstrate that two countries have comparative disadvantages in service industry. In order to identify the international competitiveness of trade in service between Korea and China, several indexes such as TSI, RSCA and IMS was calculated, using the IMF's balance of payments (BOP) statistics as proxy. The results of this analysis are as follows. Korea has a comparative advantage in four sectors (Transportation services, Financial services, Royalties & license fees and Personal cultural recreation), while China has a comparative advantage in five sectors (Travel, Communication services, Insurance services, Computer & information services and Other Business services). Construction services are indeterminate. However, the competitiveness of the two sectors-communication and computer & information-which China has a comparative advantage will be transferred to Korea if some effort to reinforce the competitiveness is added because the gap is being narrowed.

This study provides a systematic review of smart trade contracts, examining the research trends and theoretical background of utilizing smart contracts and blockchain technology for the digitalization and automation of trade contracts. Smart trade contracts are a concept that applies the automated contract system based on blockchain to trade-related transactions. The study analyzes the technical and legal challenges and proposes solutions. The technical aspect covers the development of smart contract platforms, scalability and performance improvements of blockchain networks, and security and privacy concerns. The legal aspect addresses the legal enforceability of smart contracts, automatic execution of contract conditions, and the responsibilities and obligations of contract parties. Smart trade contracts have been found to have applications in various industries such as international trade, supply chain management, finance, insurance, and energy, contributing to the ease of trade finance, efficiency of supply chains, and business model innovation. However, challenges remain in terms of legal regulations, interaction with existing legal frameworks, and technological aspects. Further research is needed, including empirical studies, business model innovation, resolution of legal issues, security and privacy considerations, standardization and collaboration, and user experience studies to address these challenges and explore additional aspects of smart trade contracts.

인터넷의 급속한 보급 및 확산은 국제무역에 있어 일대 혁신을 초래하고 있으며, 특히 해외시장조사, 해외홍보 및 마케팅, 거래선 발굴, 신용조사, 거래협상 등 계약 체결 이전까지의 거래경로에 있어 시간과 공간의 제약이 없이 저렴하고 신속하게 글로벌 비즈니스를 수행할 수 있게 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국 수출기업들이 어떠한 업무에 어느 정도나 인터넷을 활용하고 있는지, 실제로 어떠한 활용성과를 거두고 있는지 등을 설문조사에 의한 실증분석을 살펴 봄으로써 국내 수출기업들의 인터넷을 활용한 전자상거래, 즉 사이버무역 내지 전자무역의 활성화 및 국제경쟁력 제고 방안을 모색하고 있다.

정보가 발표한 자본재 육성대책이 얼마나 대일 무역역조 개선에 효과가 있을지 현재로서는 예 상하기 어려우나, 이러한 시기에 대일 무역적자의 현황과 원인을 살펴보고, 그 동안 실시된 대일 역조개선대책의 효과를 점검한 후, 이를 토대로 실효성 있는 대일 역조 시정방안을 모색해 보는 것은 의미가 클것으로 생각된다. 따라서 이 글에서도 이러한 시각에서 '균형'보다는 '축소'차원 에서의 대일 무역적자 문제를 점검해 본다.

최근 세계는 경제블록화가 급속한 진행되는 한편 EU가입국의 확대, 중국의 WTO 가입을 비롯하여 정보통신기술의 발달에 따른 무역 패러다임의 변화 등으로 급격한 전환기를 맞이하고 있다. 이러한 무역환경의 변화에 신속히 대처하기 위해 우리나라는 폭넓은 무역지원정책을 추진하고 무역관리체계를 정비하고 있음에도 불구하고 기대만큼의 실효를 거두지 못하고 있으며, 중소기업들은 국내외 경기의 지속적인 침체로 점차 해외경쟁력을 잃어가고 있다. 수출진흥을 위한 정책지원 전략은 무역환경의 변화에 대한 정확한 인식을 바탕으로 하여 무역중소기업의 무역마케팅구조를 근본적으로 개선하는데 궁극적인 목표를 두고 현장실무지원 중심으로 체계적이고 종합적인 수출지원사업 실행방안을 마련하는 일이 우선시 되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 본고에서는 국내 수출중소기업들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 이를 바탕으로 정부 수출지원사업 활용현황과 무역진흥정책 추진에 따른 향후과제를 검토 분석해보고, 나아가 기업들과 정부 유관기관과의 협력방안을 도출하는데 있다.
