  • In this paper, we discuss about wireless Internet security. The past few years have seen unprecedented growth in the number of wireless user, applications, and network access technologies. Wireless Internet is similar to wired internet, but it has some constrained wireless environment. So many internet technologies for wireless are developing now. There are WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) and WPKI. WAP(now version 2.0) is a protocol specification for wireless communication networks. it provides an application framework and network protocols for wireless devices such as mobile telephones, PDAs and internet technologies. In this paper some analysis of security(e.g. digital signature or encryption) for wireless internet are performed.

  • 무선통신기술은 연결 중심의 IoT 시대에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. IoT 기기 간 데이터 통신을 위해 Bluetooth, NFC와 같은 기술이 활용되지만, 호환성의 문제가 있다. 비가청주파수를 활용한 데이터 통신 연구는 기존의 무선통신기술이 가지는 모듈 의존성, OS 종속성 문제를 해결하였다. 하지만 기존 연구 결과는 소량 데이터만 전송 가능하고, 데이터 전송량을 늘릴 경우 전송시간 대비 효율이 낮았다. 본 논문에서는 비가청주파수를 활용하여 대량의 비트를 여러 개의 프레임으로 나누어 연속적으로 전송하기 위한 통신 프로토콜을 제안한다. 이는 소량 데이터를 전송하는 기존 연구 결과의 높은 정확도와 함께 송신부와 수신부의 유기적인 상호작용을 통해 대량의 데이터 전송에 적합한 알고리즘이다.

  • 가시광통신은 조명용 LED를 사용하여 자유공간을 통하여 광신호를 직접 전송하는 무선광통신 방식의 일종으로서 하나의 광원으로 조명과 통신을 겸할 수 있는 장점이 있으나 전송구간이 가시거리로 제한되는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 가시광통신 구간 사이에 전력선통신을 이용하여 가시거리 구간 밖으로 가시광통신의 전송범위를 확장하였다. 이러한 구조는 가시광 통신 구간을 넓혀주는 효과가 있어 실내의 LED 조명을 이용한 가시광통신 시스템을 신설하거나 확장하는 경우에 많이 활용할 수 있다.

  • 선박중심직접통신(MX-S2X)은 디지털 통신 연계기술 개발 및 실증을 통한 육상·선박·시설의 유기적 연결을 제공함으로써, 해양사고 저감 및 자율운항선박을 위한 인프라로 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문은 MX-S2X 기술개발에 대한 소개, MX-S2X 개발을 위한 운용 및 설계 요구사항에 대해 기술하고 있으며, 더 나아가 해상 통신 환경이 통신성능에 영향을 끼칠수 있는 경우에 대해 살펴보고 이를 극복하기 위한 MX-S2X 시스템의 물리계층 설계에 대해 기술하였다.

A Comprehensive Method to Impute Vehicle Trajectory Data Collected in Wireless Traffic Surveillance Environments (무선통신기반 교통정보수집체계하에서의 차량주행궤적정보 결측치 보정방안)

  • Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS) enables road users to enhance efficiency of their trips in a variety of traffic conditions. As a significant part of ITS, information communication technology among vehicles and between vehicles and infrastructure has been being developed to upgrade current traffic data collection technology through location-based traffic surveillance systems. A wider and detailed range of traffic data can be acquired with ease by the technology. However, its performance level falls with environmental impediments such as large vehicles, buildings, harsh weather, which often bring about wireless communication failure. For imputation of vehicle trajectory data discontinued by the failure, several potential existing methods were reviewed and a new method to complement them was devised. AIMSUN API(Application Programming Interface) software was utilized to simulate vehicle trajectories data and missing vehicle trajectories data was randomly generated for the verification of the method. The method was proven to yield more accurate and reliable traffic data than the existing ones.

  • In this paper, A real-time channel module which can apply the wireless propagation channel was developed using USRP and Lab-VIEW. When the proposed channel module is used in conjunction with the implemented HW(hardware) simulators for cognitive radio and frequency interference analysis and so on, it can increase the reliability about wireless propagation environments. In addition, the proposed module overcomes the limit of existing HW simulator that data transfer rate is limitative in communication system through the design of the inner parts. Along with this, it is possible to apply channel parameters necessary to estimate the easier communication performance. Also, this has the advantage that it can be flexibly applied in implementing the communication channel with the upcoming new scenarios. The proposed module can estimate the communication performance via constellation and BER using the implemented module.

  • With a spread of mobile devices, the growing trend of integrating wireless communications technologies into transportation systems is advanced. In particular, vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) enable vehicles to share traffic information that they have through intervehicle communications. This research focused on the design of an integrated transportation and communication simulation framework to build an environment that is more realistic than previous studies developed for studying VANETs. Developing a VANET-based information model, this research designed an integrated transportation and communication simulation framework in which these independent simulation tools not supporting High Level Architecture (HLA) were tightly coupled and finely synchronized. As a case study, a VANET-based traffic information system was demonstrated based on a real road network and real traffic data. The experiment results showed that the simulation framework was well integrated. The simulation framework designed in this study is expected to contribute to developing the environment to experiment a wide range of VANET applications.

  • In this paper presents the WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) system using the rake receiver over multipath fading and wireless mobile communication environments. The interference between the propagation paths in a multipath fading causes a serious degradation in the wireless mobile communication environments. In order to derive the path interference and reduce the fading effect the rake receiver is used. As a result, the WCDMA system using the rake receiver gives a better performance than the convention WCDMA system over a multipath fading and wireless mobile communication environments.

  • In this paper, we improve performance for system when the carrier recovery signal is not perfect in the multipath mobile wireless communication fast fading channel based on DS-CDMA system. In the case, we use the phase estimation, diversity and adaptive FEC code technique in order to overcome this carrier phase error and mobile wireless fading. As a results in DS-CDMA system, we know that the appropriate use of diversity and adaptive FEC code technique reduced considerably performance degradation due to phase error.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크에서 M 개의 센서 노드가 다른 센서 노드의 도움을 받아 최종 수신 노드로 전송하는 M-1-1 프로토콜을 제안한다. M 개의 센서 노드에 직교성을 가지는 주파수를 할당함으로써 최종 수신 노드로 데이터를 동시 전송하는 것이 가능하다. 센서 노드들 간의 협력통신을 통해서 무선 환경에서 겪는 페이딩현상을 극복하고, 직교성을 가진 반송파로 주파수 사용의 효율성을 높이고 인접한 센서 노드 신호로부터 오는 간섭을 제거할 수 있다.
