This paper proposed system for providing the national competency standards learning module, which has changed and updated from time to time. The provisioning server of the proposed system provides learning module, and the management server carry out fault management, billing, request management, statistics and aggregate, etc, and the target server requests the learning module in the provisioning server through the domain. The proposed system determines provide of the learning module by CORS based on filter, which is to determine whether matches or not with domain of the provisioning server and the target server. The proposed system can be patch and maintenance remotely about NCS based learning module to be new update and removed. Also, the proposed system may provide contents in conjunction with existing educational systems, and may be extended in the future to enable the management for domain of the target server.

Recently, intelligent surveillance camera systems are needed popularly. However, current researches are focussed on improvement of a single module rather than implementation of an integrated system. In this paper, we implemented a moving wireless surveillance camera system which is composed of face detection, and using motion sensor. In our implementation, we used a camera module from SHARP, a pair of wireless video transmission module from ECOM, body of moving robot used for A4WD1 Combo kit for RC, a pair of ZigBee RF wireless transmission module from ROBOBLOCK, and a motion sensor module (AMN14111) from PANASONIC. We used OpenCV library for face dection and MFC for implement software. We identified real-time operations of face detection, PTT control, and motion sensor detecton. Thus, the implemented system will be useful for the applications of remote control, human detection, and using motion sensor.

The context-awareness is one of the core technologies in ubiquitous computing environment. In this research, we incorporated the capability of context-awareness in a case-based music recommendation system. Our proposed system consists of Intention Module and Recommendation Module. The Intention Module infers whether a user wants to listen to the music or not from the environmental context information. Then, the Recommendation Module selects songs from the songs that are listened by similar users in similar context, and recommends them to the user. The results showed that our proposed system outperformed the traditional case-based music recommendation system in accuracy by about 9% point.

This paper explains the development of a concurrent engineering system for the rlesign of composite structures. The concurrent engineering system is developed to meet the demand for the better quality products with lower production cost and time. In this study, to compose the architecture of concurrent engineering system, the commercial and noncommercial programs related to design and analysis of composite structures are surveyed and classified. The concurrent engineering system is including various design modules such as design/analysis of composite structures using CLPT and FEM, buckling and post bucking analysis, thermo-elastic analysis of carbon-carbon composite, and optimum design using expert system and genetic algorithm. For the integration and management of softwares, the concurrent engineering system is realized by Microsoft visual $C++{^\circledR}$ that provide multi-tasking and graphic user interface environment.

본 연구에서는 디지털 영상 뇌파계(digital video electroencephalogram, Digital VEEG)에서 비디오 영상과 뇌전도 파형의 동기화된 편집 시스템을 구성한다. 이 시스템은 기존 아날로그 영상 뇌파계(analog video electroencephalogram)의 동기화 문제와 디지털 영상 시스템에서의 영상편집 문제를 해결하기 위하여 MPEG-I(이하 MPEG) 고압축 기술을 이용한 MPEG 인코딩 보드(encoding board)와 MPEG 편집 엔진(editing engine)을 각각 사용하였다. 시스템은 디지털 영상뇌파계모듈과 디지털 편집 모듈로 구성되며, 뇌전도모듈에서는 환자에게 연결된 전극을 통해 들어온 뇌파를 생체신호증폭기를 이용하여 증폭한 후 AD 보드(analog to digital board)를 이용 디지털화한다. 디지털 카메라로 촬영된 환자영상의 아날로그 영상신호(NTSC 신호)는 MPEG 인코딩 보드를 이용하여 고압축 디지털화한다. 이후 디지털화된 뇌전도신호와 MPEG 형식의 영상을 시간 동기화하여 두 개의 모니터에 각각보여준다. 편집 모듈에서는 영상신호와 뇌파신호를 어느 부분이든 간단한 조작으로 오려 붙이기(cut and paste) 기능을 이용할 수 있다. 본 시스템은 사용된 데이터 모두 디지털 기술을 이용하여 영상과 뇌파신호의 정확한 동기화 및 각각의 데이터의 오려 붙이기 기능을 가능케 하였으며, 이는 환자의 데이터를 관리 및 보관하는데 있어, 임상의에게 의미 있는 자료만을 모아서 효율적으로 관리할 수 있게 해준다. 이와 같은 장점을 갖는 디지 영상뇌파계 편집시스템을 구현하였다.

본 논문은 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)에서 2010 년부터 2015 년까지 5 년간에 걸쳐 개발 예정인 영어 교육용 대화 시스템 중 2011 년에 개발된 관광용 영어 교육용 대화 시스템 중 도시 관광 도메인을 대상으로 한 도시 관광용 영어 대화 시스템을 소개하는 것을 목표로 한다. 도시 관광용 영어 대화 시스템은 크게 대화 이해 모듈, 대화 관리 모듈, 대화 생성 모듈, 대화 모델링 구축/관리 모듈, 대화 지식 구축 도구로 구성된다. 도시 관광용 영어 대화 시스템 평가를 위해 평가자를 초급, 중급, 고급의 3 개 그룹으로 나누어 평가를 실시하였다. 평가자는 원격 웹 평가 도구에 접속하여 4 개의 대화 미션에 대해 영어로 대화 시스템과 대화를 실시하였으며 평가는 태스크 성공률로 측정되었다. 태스크 성공률은 82.5%로 측정되었다.

Recently the cloud computing paradigm has been widely accepting in various applications. Data management system of cloud computing requires ability to manage tremendous data and supporting scalability. The former can be achieved by weaken consistency and limitation of transactions, and the latter needs expand or shrink of components. In this paper, we propose a transaction processing model and a scalable module management algorithm when transaction is executed in the cloud. Transaction processing model consists of a transaction management module and a data management module. Scalable module management algorithm has no redistribution of components and may alleviates loads of existed modules. With simulation results, we can see the improvement of response time and decrease abort ratio of transactions.

In this paper, we proposed the Failure-Diagnostic Context-awareness Middleware (FDCM) for improving the reliability in the USN application service. The middleware diagnoses the failure occurred in sensors or facilities in the indoor USN application system. The new middleware suggested in this paper consists of DataManagement module, ContextProvider module, Contextlnterpreter module, ServiceProvider module and DataStorage module. By analysing the data obtained by the interaction between modules through the diagnostic algorithm, the FDCM determines the malfunction of sensors and equipment devices. Then we verified the performance of middleware by using simulation. As a result, the FDCM showed the high performance in the large systems that many of the sensors and devices are installed.

Digital Media have been advanced and disseminated at the same time around the world. Digital contents have been evolved while Product Technology and Process Technology of 3D Digital Animation and On-line game have completed the innovative developments. First of all, several problems can be occurred when product technology can not lead the evolvement of digital contents. To accomplish the evolvement of both product technology and process technology of digital contents, the whole production system and process system must be modulized. Modulization of system can be completed by the consistent and stable integration of platform. Modulization of production system can bring out the modulization of product technology and then the modulization of technology can speed up the commercialization and market test.

음성 언어 자료의 확보 및 활용을 위해서는 다양한 소프트웨어의 도움이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 본 연구실에서 설계 및 개발한 PC용 Workbench에 대하여 기술한다. Workbench는 음성 언어 자료의 확보를 위한 텍스트 처리 모듈들과 음성 데이터의 처리를 위한 신호처리 모듈들로 구성되어 있다. Workbench에 포함된 모듈로는 텍스트를 자동 읽기 변환하는 철자 음운 변환기, 발성 목록 선정 모듈, 끝점 검출기를 이용한 음성 데이터 편집 모듈, 끝점 검출기를 이용한 음성 데이터 편집 모듈, 다단계 레이블링 시스템, 텍스트에서 원하는 음운 환경을 포함하고 있는 문자열을 다양한 조건으로 검색할 수 있는 음운 환경 검색기를 포함하고 있다.
