Effects of Systems Thinking on High School Students' Science Self-Efficacy (시스템 사고가 고등학생의 과학 자기 효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of systems thinking on high school students' self-regulatory efficacy and self-confidence that constitute science self-efficacy. We set self-regulatory efficacy as a factor of students' systems thinking affects their self-confidence on science through self-regulatory efficacy. A total of 210 students were sampled from general high schools and 188 valid cases were analyzed. The instrument has 39 items that consist of 20 items measuring systems thinking and 19 items of science self-efficacy. The result of the exploratory factor analysis indicated that 20 items for systems thinking, 8 items for self-regulatory efficacy, 4 items for self-confidence are reasonable. Testing the goodness of fit of a structural equation model, it turn out to be appropriate (${\chi}^2$=344.498, df=242, TLI= .921, RMSEA= .044) using 24 items (mental model, personal mastery, systems analysis, self-regulatory efficacy, and self-confidence were constructed). In addition, the mental model, which is one factor of systems thinking, is mediated by self-regulatory efficacy that affects self-confidence directly and/or indirectly. The results suggest that systems thinking affects science self-efficacy directly and indirectly. Utilizing systems thinking in science education can produce a theoretical basis in improving students' confidence and self-efficacy about science.

A Study on Constructing the Model of Problem Based Learning in the View of Situated Learning (문제중심 학습의 모델 설정)

  • This study was some part of the main program making better the lessons in the classroom in which those should focus on the creative and self-leading method. The purpose of study was to create the model of Problem Based Learning and investigate its efficiency For the purpose, those researchers tried to reform the Myers' PBL model through the pilot experiment and could get the Model of Korean School PBL appropriate to the our classroom situations. Thirty six students from the enriched class in the junior high school 3rd grades was involved in the experiment for 8 weeks. The results showed that the experimental group had statistically significant difference in the real problem solving test and attitude test. Specially, those students also showed that the ability to translate the variety of problem situations mathematically was so excellent and they also had their own technique to generate the understand of problem solving situations, but they aid not show the significant ability to pose the meaningful problem.

Design of a Shielded Reflection Type Pulsed Eddy Current Probe for the Evaluation of Thickness (두께 평가를 위한 차폐된 반사형 펄스 와전류 탐촉자의 설계)

  • For better evaluation of material thickness by using the reflection type pulsed eddy current method, various probe models are designed and their response signals, characteristics, and sensitivities to thickness variation are investigated by a numerical analysis method. Since the sensor needs to detect magnetic fields from eddy currents induced in a test material, not from the exciter coil, two types of models that are shielded by the combination of copper and ferrite and only by ferrite are considered. By studying response signals from these shielded probe models, the peak value and the zero crossing time are selected as useful signal features for the evaluation of material thickness. Investigation of sensitivities of these two features shows that the sensitivity of peak value is more useful than that of zero crossing time and that the probe shielded only by ferrite gives much better sensitivity to thickness variation.

  • The objective of this thesis is to improve the quality of a software product based on the enhancement of a software design quality using a better error detecting method. Also, this thesis is based on a software design method called as MOA(Methodology for Object to Agents) which uses an ontology based ODES(A Method based on Ontology for Detecting Errors in the Software Design) model as a common information model. At this thesis, a new format of error detecting method was defined. The method is implemented during a transformation process from UML model to ODES model using a ODES model, a Inter-View Inconsistency Detection technique and a combination of ontologic property of consistency framework and related rules. Transformation process to ODES model includes lexicon analysis and meaning analysis of a software design using of multiple mapping table at algorithm for the generation of ODES model instance.

Study on the Dependence of Ultrasonic Phase Velocity on Porosity, Frequency and Propagation Angle in Cancellous Bone (해면질골에서 다공율, 주파수 및 전파각에 대한 초음파 위상속도의 의존성 연구)

  • In the present study, the dependence of ultrasonic phase velocity on porosity and frequency in cancellous bone was predicted using the Biot model and the modified Biot-Attenborough (MBA) model for propagation in fluid-saturated porous media. It was also compared with previously published measurements in human and bovine cancellous bones in vitro. It was shown that the phase velocity in cancellous bone decreased with increasing porosity and frequency The dependence of phase velocity on propagation angle in cancellous bone as predicted using the Schoenberg model together with the Biot model and tile MBA model which were modified to include the effect of angle. The theoretical models used in the present study advance our understanding of the interaction between ultrasound and cancellous bone and can be expected to be usefully employed for the diagnosis of osteoporosis.

Classification Algorithm for Liver Lesions of Ultrasound Images using Ensemble Deep Learning (앙상블 딥러닝을 이용한 초음파 영상의 간병변증 분류 알고리즘)

  • In the current medical field, ultrasound diagnosis can be said to be the same as a stethoscope in the past. However, due to the nature of ultrasound, it has the disadvantage that the prediction of results is uncertain depending on the skill level of the examiner. Therefore, this paper aims to improve the accuracy of liver lesion detection during ultrasound examination based on deep learning technology to solve this problem. In the proposed paper, we compared the accuracy of lesion classification using a CNN model and an ensemble model. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the classification accuracy in the CNN model averaged 82.33% and the ensemble model averaged 89.9%, about 7% higher. Also, it was confirmed that the ensemble model was 0.97 in the average ROC curve, which is about 0.4 higher than the CNN model.

  • 효과적인 프리젠테이션을 위해서는 동기화가 지원되어야 하며, 특히, 분산 환경에서의 프리젠테이션은 네트워크 대역폭과 지연시간 등에 의해 영향을 받기 때문에, 그러한 요소들이 고려되어 동기화가 지원되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 미디어들이 각 서버로부터 전송 될 때 네트워크의 상태와 자원을 검사하여 그에 따른 변화를 서버에 피드백시켜, 서버로부터 전송되는 데이터의 양을 조절함으로서 동기화를 지원하는 분산 멀티미디어 프리젠테이션 모델을 제안한다.

An Analytical Model of Eddy Current Signal using Integral Method (적분법을 이용한 와전류신호의 해석적 모델)

  • The integral model for the eddy current phenomena has been suggested. The model could lift the limitations of the previously well-known analytical model of eddy current theory. The model could be applied to two-dimentional, arbitary shaped defects. The computer programs have been developed in order to calculate the eddy current signal with the suggested integral method. The eddy current signals by the model calculations have been shown similar patterns to the actual experimental data from the real defects in the calibration standard tubes.

전문가 심층분석-국내 소해면상뇌증(BSE) 예찰 현황

  • 2005년 이전 OIE 위생규약상 BSE 예찰기준은 성우(24개월령 이상) 사육규모별로 BSE 유사 임상증상을 보이는 임상의심축을 일정 두수 검사하도록 권고하였으며, 우리나라는 당시 사육규모 당 99두의 임상의 심축만을 검사하면 동 기준을 충족했다. 그러나 OIE의 BSE 예찰기준은 2004년 EU 전염성해면상 뇌증(TSE) 연합 표준 실험실(Community Reference Laboratory, CRL)인 영국 수의연구청에 의해 개발된 BSurvE model과 동모델에 대한 회원국의 의견에 기초하여 2005년 이전의 두수제에서 점수제로 개정됐다. 우리나라는 점수제를 2007년부터 적용했다.

  • 본 논문에서는 리드 피치가 15mil인 208핀 QFP칩을 검사하는 고해상도의 비젼 모델 시스템을 개발하였다. 전체적인 하드웨어와 고해상도에 적합한 알고리즘 및 이를 실현하는 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 특히 칩 리드 검출을 위한 새로운 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 방법의 특징은 조명의 간섭에 대해 강하며 검사 속도 및 정밀도가 향상되었다.
