A Study of the Type of Absent Body in Clothing - Based on Deconstructionism - (의상에 있어서 신체부재의 유형 연구 - 해체적 사고에 근거하여 -)

  • The relationship between doffing and body has been fixed, deconstructism evoked doubt about not only presence or absence of body but also identity for wear. In the result, meta-body which is beyond the existent body was proposed through deconstruction of body which is main concept for doffing. The decostructive body have an effect on the way of expressions and forms for doffing as well as the rational doffing, and propose various types of body absence in clothing. The results are: 1. the absence of gender identity 2. the absence of wholeness in harmony 3. the absence of doffing form 4. the absence of meaning as clothing

A Study on the Traffic Accident Estimation Model using Empirical Bayes Method (Empirical Bayes Method를 이용한 교통사고 예측모형)

  • This study estimates the expected number of accidents in Kyungbuk Province to capitalize on experience gained from four years of accident history using the Empirical Bayes (EB) Method. The number of accidents of each site in Kyungbuk Province is recalculated using the Equivalent Property Damage Only (EPDO) method to reflect the severities of the accidents. A cluster analysis is performed to determine similar sites and a unique Safety Performance Function (SPF) is established for each site. The overdispersion parameter is built to correct the difference between the actual number of accidents and the underlying probability distribution. To adjust for varying traffic characteristics of each site, a relative weight is applied and eventually estimates the expected number of accidents. The results show that the highest accident sites are Kimcheon, Youngcheon, and Chilgok, but on the other hand the lowest is Gunwi.

  • The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated social transformations across various nations. These changes, particularly prominent in the corporate and industrial sectors, have necessitated a shift towards increased remote activities, fundamentally altering societal structures. Within this context, the concept of the Metaverse, a virtual world existing since the early 2000s but previously underrecognized, began to gain widespread recognition. In South Korea, major tech companies such as Naver, Kakao, and Coupang have long normalized remote working, with new employee orientations also taking place on Metaverse platforms. Beyond the IT sector, institutions requiring large gatherings, such as schools, have adopted the Metaverse for hosting major events like welcome ceremonies and informational sessions. This phenomenon suggests that the Metaverse is not merely a transient social trend but is gradually integrating into the daily lives of the general populace, serving as a significant social connector. This study explores the potential of Metaverse-enabled design thinking and methodologies to address the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) challenges faced by Korean society. Specifically, the research focuses on developing solutions for social issues related to pets in Korea.

A case study of understanding the embodied metaphors for AI education (인공지능 교육을 위한 체화된 메타포 이해 : 언플러그드 활동을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the educational context including the actual learning process and learner perception using the embodied metaphor in AI education. To this end, a class was designed to utilize the embodied metaphor-based unplugged activity through a qualitative approach. Matrix analysis technique was used to analyze the data collected throughout the course of the class to analyze the experiences and perceptions according to the characteristics of the learner, and the learning context. The results of the study were: First, there was a difference according to the learner's prior experience in the effect on the representative knowledge and the subsequent practice process. Next, the embodied metaphor-based unplugged activity showed soft landing effects on practice and text coding. Finally, the organic integration of unplugged and plugged-in classes helped learners understand the potential of computational thinking.

  • 교수-학습 방법 발전이 필요하다는 논리와 관련해서 선진국들의 교육 추세를 눈여겨볼 필요가 있다. 첫째, 교육이라는 행위가 교사가 주도하는 교수(teaching, instruction)로부터 학생이 주도하는 학습 (learning)으로 바뀌어 가는 추세이고, 둘째, 학습에 있어서 자극-반응 모델에 기초한 반응에는 강조를 두지 않고 인지(cognition), 즉 지각과 사고를 강조하고 있는 추세이며, 셋째, 따라서 학생이 학습을 제대로 해 가는 데 필요한 여러 가지 방략(strategy), 가령 구성적 방략이나, 비고츠키 모델 등이 개발되거나 원용되고 때로는 기존 방략들(탐구적 방법, 문제해결 방법 등)이 재 강조되면서, 그 방략들이 학생들에게 유효하도록 가르쳐 지고 있는 실정이다.(중략)

  • 미래의 해상 환경에서 e-Navigation은 더욱 중요한 역할을 수행할 것이다. e-Navigation의 목적인 해양 사고 저감과 운항 효율화를 달성하기 위하여 다양한 해사 서비스들의 개발은 필수적이며, 이러한 서비스들을 관리할 수 있는 해사 서비스 관리 기술이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 한국형 e-Navigation인 SMART-Navigation 내에서 다양한 해사 서비스를 체계적으로 관리하고 이종 통신 간 통신 수단의 전환에도 통신 단절 없이 서비스 사용자에게 등록된 해사 서비스의 메타 데이터를 전달하는 해사 서비스 레지스트리를 개발하기 위한 기본 개념과 구조를 제시하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, we proposed the integrated education program of informatics and math for solving problem using EPL. We applied a integrated math curriculum with EPL and analyzed mathematical thinking and attitude to the 3rd and 5th students. We used mathematical thinking test, mathematical attitude test and interview through student review. We also analyzed data of observers who are elementary school teachers. The results of test are as follows; First, we found effective points of meta-cognition and visualization of thought in solving the mathematical problem using Scratch. Second, mathematical thinking and attitude showed the result that 3rd grade students are more increased than 5th grade students in pre and post t-test of the mathematical. Consequently, we expect that the integrated education program of informatics and math using EPL can be applied to solve problem in math effectively.

Metacognitive Learning Methods to Improve Mathematical Thinking (메타인지 전략 학습을 통한 수학적 사고력 신장 방안 연구)

  • The study aimed to explore how to improve mathematical thinking through metacognitive learning by stressing metacognitive abilities as a core strategy to increase mathematical creativity and problem-solving abilities. Theoretical exploration was followed by an analysis of correlations between metacognitive abilities and various ways of mathematical thinking. Various metacognitive teaching and learning methods used by many teachers at school were integrated for sharing. Also, the methods of learning application and assessment of metacognitive thinking were explored. The results are as follows: First, metacognitive abilities were positively related to 'reasoning, communication, creative problem solving and commitment' with direct and indirect effects on mathematical thinking. Second, various megacognitive ability-applied teaching and learning methods had positive impacts on definitive areas such as 'anxiety over Mathematics, self-efficacy, learning habit, interest, confidence and trust' as well as cognitive areas such as 'learning performance, reasoning, problem solving, metacognitive ability, communication and expression', which is a result applicable to top, middle and low-performance students at primary and secondary education facilities. Third, 'metacognitive activities, metaproblem-solving process, personal strength and weakness management project, metacognitive notes, observation tables and metacognitive checklists' for metacognitive learning were suggested as alternatives to performance assessment covering problem-solving and thinking processes. Various metacognitive learning methods helped to improve creative and systemic problem solving and increase mathematical thinking. They did not only imitate uniform problem-solving methods suggested by a teacher but also induced direct experiences of mathematical thinking as well as adjustment and control of the thinking process. The study will help teachers recognize the importance of metacognition, devise and apply teaching or learning models for their teaching environments, improving students' metacognitive ability as well as mathematical and creative thinking.

  • 언어는 단순히 인간의 의사소통의 수단이 될 뿐만 아니라 사고, 추론, 판단 등의 지적활동의 도구로서 활용된다. 컴퓨터에서는 인간의 언어를 사용하여 인간과 유사한 지적활동을 실현하고 자 하는 연구로 일상언어 컴퓨팅(everyday language computing)이 있다. 본 논문에서는 일상언어 컴퓨팅을 실현하는 한 예로 교통정보 서비스를 위한 대화시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 시스테믹 기능문법(Systemic Functional Grammar: SFG)을 기반으로 사용자의 발화를 3개의 메타기능을 통하여 의미를 분석하고, 메타기능으로 표현된 의미로부터 시스템의 발화를 생성한다 기존 교통정보 서비스는 DB의 질의검색과 일률적인 정보제공이 일반적인 것에 비해, 제안하는 대화시스템은 대화의 의미 속에 포함된 사용자의 의도 및 의미를 분석함으로써 보다 적절한 정보를 제공하여 사용자의 서비스만족도를 향상 시키는 교통정보서비스를 가능하게 한다. 또한, 웹과 연동되는 VXML(Voice Extend Makeup Language)을 대화시스템에 적용함으로서 실용적인 인터페이스를 실행하였다.
