An Empirical Study on the Participatory Use of K-Pop Video Contents (케이팝 콘텐츠의 참여적 이용에 관한 연구 : 유튜브 콘텐츠 관계망분석(SNA)을 중심으로)

  • It is apparently clear that K-pop has been expanding its influence overseas, with its high growth rate. As a result, attempts have been made to analyze the characteristics of K-Pop in various academic fields. This research quantitatively used the participatory use process of K-Pop contents in voluntary participation and dissemination of the audience in the Trans-Media environment. The author examined the use of participatory K-Pop contents from the view point of reparability through big data content analysis. It has been revealed that K-Pop is spreading globally through social media, fans of various countries like to play K-Pop, and they make up their own content and form a participatory culture. In addition, we looked at when the moments of momentum in which participatory use is soaring were popular content and who was the publisher.

Effect of Family Resilience of Self-Sufficiency Program Participants on the Will to Be Self-Sufficient: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Family Support (자활사업 참여자의 가족탄력성이 자활의지에 미치는 영향: 가족지지의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study explored how the family resilience of participants in self-sufficiency programs relates to their willingness to be self-sufficient and analyzed the mediating effects of family support in the relationship. The subjects of the study were 283 people in their 20s to 70s who are participating in a local self-sufficiency center in Gangwon-do. Statistical analyses were conducted using IBM SPSS 18, with descriptive statistics, difference verification and regression, and mediating effects analyzed following Baron & Kenny(1986). The results of the analysis are as follows. First, we conducted difference verification between the sociodemographic characteristics of participants in the self-sufficiency program and major variables. There was a significant difference in the willingness to be self-sufficient in terms of the caregiving family and household income. Family resilience differed significantly depending on age group, marital status, health condition, household type, caregiving family, and homeownership, while family support differed significantly in age group, marital status, health condition, household type, caregiving family, and debt. Second, we conducted a hierarchical regression analysis to determine the factors influencing the will of self-sufficiency of those participating in the self-sufficiency program and found that the better the health condition, the presence of caregiving families, and the higher the level of family resilience and family support, the higher the level of will to be self-sufficient. Third, analyses of the mediating effect following Baron & Kenny(1986) have shown that family support has a full mediating effect on the relationship between family resilience and the will to be self-sufficient. Thus, we have verified that family resilience and family support are important factors as an alternative to improving the level of willingness for self-sufficiency program participants.

The Effect of Social Isolation on Self-Integrity in Literacy Education Learners: Serial Double Mediating Effects of Successful Aging and Hope (문해교육 학습자의 사회적 고립감이 자아통합감에 미치는 영향: 성공적 노화와 희망의 직렬 이중 매개효과)

  • This study aims to confirm whether successful aging and hope play a dual mediating role in the relationship between social isolation and self-integrity among learners participating in literacy education, and to provide basic data to enhanceself-integrity. The subjects were conveniently sampled from learners participating in general literacy education and literacy education courses recognized for academic achievement in the Chungnam province, and the data were collected through surveys. The data were analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win. ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. The statistical techniques used were descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and dual mediation effect analysis. The results of the study were as follows: First, there were significant correlations between social isolation, successful aging, hope, and self-integrity, with the highest correlation coefficient between hope and ego integrity. Second, successful aging and hope serially mediated the relationship between social isolation and self-integrity among learners participating in literacy education. The results of this study suggest that it can be used as a new model to enhance self-integrity among learners participating in literacy education.

  • 기후 온난화로 가축에서 질병을 전파시키는 모기가 5월부터 나타나 활동기간이 연장되면서 질병에 대한 면역력을 높이기 위해 4월부터 예방접종 등 사전방역대책이 필요하다. 모기가 매개하는 질병으로는 2010년 전북, 전남 및 경남지방에서 한우와 젖소가 일어나지 못하는 기립불능증 증상 등으로 많은 피해를 입은 소 유행열, 아까바네병, 아이노바이러스 감염증, 츄잔병과 이바라기병 등이 있고, 돼지에서 발생하는 일본뇌염이 있다.

A Critical Review on the use of Media Platform in Dance: Focused on popularization strategy (무용의 미디어 플랫폼 활용에 대한 비판적 고찰: 대중화 전략을 중심으로)

  • This study examines the popularization strategy of domestic dance field through media platform and examines it based on the interaction of cultural participants. What does popularization of dance ultimately mean? What are the characteristics of media-based popularization strategies? Can all of these attempts be understood as popularization strategy with same attributes? The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of broadcasting media, which are used as the main medium of dance popularization strategy, and the online platform that recently attracts attention, and to focus on the communication process of cultural participants related to each media. Through this approach, media based activities turns out to be Mass Culture, controlled by businessman, capital, making it impossible for the creator to communicate directly with the audience, and producing the cultural products planned by the businessman. On the other hand, an online community platform is classified as Popular Culture since it allows creator to communicate and interact with audience without the direct involvement of the businessman and guarantees the rights of creation. Thereby it function as appropriate media platform and expand the discourse on popularization of dance in Korea.

Co-author network for convergent research pattern analysis in stem cell sector (줄기세포분야 융합연구형태 분석을 위한 공저자 네트워크)

  • This study was carried out to confirm a convergent research pattern and researchers' role in stem cell sector by social network analysis. Articles were extracted from 1996 to 2012 in PubMed, 515 authors of 270 embryonic stem cell and induced pluripotent stem cell articles and 1,515 authors of 580 adult stem cell and mesenchymal stem cell articles. Degree(D) and betweenness(B) centrality was measured and co-author network was generated for researcher's role. As a result, Core researcher and Intermediary researcher was identified in co-author network. Core researcher had high D. centrality, otherwise high B. centrality or not. Intermediary researcher for convergent research had high B. centrality and low D. centrality. Conclusively, co-author network will be used as objective data not only to find core researchers in subject area for improving achievement but also to select experts for research project evaluation.

  • This study examined an effect of mother's smart device overdependence and short-term longitudinal mediation effect of mother's responsiveness on children's overindulgence tendency in smart devices. A total 144 children-mother dyads(male 73, female 71) participated in the study. The results of path analysis were as follows. The mother's smart phone overdependence and children's overindulgence tendency in smart devices were measured at time 1 and mother's responsiveness and children's overindulgence tendency were measured at time 2, six months later. When Time 1 children's overindulgence tendency in smart devices was controlled, Time 1 mother's smart phone overdependence significantly predicted time 2 children's overindulgence tendency. This study suggested empirical findings that caregiver's smart device were related with children's overindulgence tendency.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of family-friendly policies on married female managers' desire for an additional child and the mediating effects of family-friendly supervisor support and work-family conflict. The analysis included 480 married female managers from the 7th survey of the 2018 Korean Women Manager Panel. Family-friendly policies were found to have an indirect effect on the desire for an additional child via family-friendly supervisor support and work-family conflict. These findings emphasize the importance of not only implementing family-friendly policies, but also creating a culture that supports them. Based on the results, approaches to interventions in the workplace to reverse the current trend of low fertility are discussed.

  • This study is aim to explore the key variables that can improve the relationship between mentor-mentee fit and the relationship of mentor-mentee fit as a prerequisite in improving entrepreneurial intention. In addition, the mediating effect of entrepreneurship was verified in the process of mentee-mentor suitability inducing entrepreneurial will. To verify this, a survey was conducted on per-founders and early founders. The results of this study are as follows. First, in relation to the measures to improve the entrepreneurial will, mentor-mentee suitability was verified to have a positive effect on entrepreneurial will through entrepreneurship. Second, it was verified that mentor-mentee fit had a positive effect on the formation of entrepreneurship; third, entrepreneurship could have a direct effect on the intention of entrepreneurship. This study suggests that the more mentor-mentee fits entrepreneurs, the better the level of entrepreneurship. In addition, high level of entrepreneurship can play a role in further promoting the will to start a business.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the entrepreneurs with positive entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurship education that meets the needs of founders related to cultural tourism products. In addition, the mediating effect of self-efficacy of founders was verified in the relationship between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intention. For the empirical analysis, this study conducted a survey on founders of cultural tourism products in Gwangju and Jeonnam. The results of the study are as follows: First, entrepreneurship education has a positive effect on self-efficacy and self-efficacy has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Second, self-efficacy confirmed the mediating effect in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship intention. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data for stable and sustainable development of the culture and tourism industry.
