  • This paper describes an insole FFO(Functional Foot Orthosis) model for comfortable walking by considering weight distribution. There are many ways to make an insole FFO model such as using 3D computer graphics, or plaster manually. Thus, we proposed a standardized way to make an insole model, specifically called, robust and automatically personalized deformable insole model. Our proposed method showed 0.8cm average error compared between our proposed auto-deformable insole model and the other insole model manually deformed by experts. Therefore, our proposed method can be an efficient way to make a customized insole model with small error compared to the manually customized insole model.

  • Bone and soft tissue conditions are important for successful implant treatment. But, the placement itself is also very important. Implants which is installed in the wrong position result in the biological, esthetical and mechanical problems. In order to place an implant in the correct position, the final restoration and diagnostic wax-up should be considered prior to the surgery. If the artificial teeth for the interim denture are directly transferred from the diagnostic wax-up, the operator can try the form of diagnostic wax-up in the mouth. If the surgical template is produced by duplicating the interim denture, the implant can be placed in the planned position. In this case, the polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) artificial tooth was precisely milled by the digital duplication of diagnostic wax-up. And interim denture was fabricated by using these milled teeth. After the patient adapted for a sufficient period, the implant was placed at the planned position with surgical template produced by duplicating the interim denture. After confirming sufficient osseointegration, the final prostheses were made to reflect the shape of diagnostic wax-up. Through this procedure, the satisfactory functional and esthetic outcome could be acquired.

  • 최근 들어, 미용 상품을 선택하기 전에 자신의 피부 타입과 상태를 정확히 파악하고 맞춤형 상품을 선택하고자 하는 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 피부 상태 측정을 위한 기술적 요소의 중요성이 더욱 두드러지고 있다. 그러나 현재까지 피부 상태 측정을 위한 데이터셋이 한국인을 대상으로 측정한 데이터셋이 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 한국인의 피부 상태를 정밀하게 분석하기 위해 고해상도 디지털 카메라로 촬영된 이미지, 정밀 피부측정 장비를 활용하여 측정한 정밀 값, 그리고 피부과 전문의가 진단한 피부상태 진단 등급 데이트를 통합하여 제공을 한다. 추후 제작한 데이터셋을 활용하여 개인 맞춤형 미용상품 추천과 개발 등 다양한 분야에 활용하고자 한다.

  • In recent years, 3D printing has received increasing attention due to releases of low-cost 3D printers based on open-source platform. 3D printing is expected to reduce the barrier to entry in the traditional manufacturing processes by increasing flexibility and creating an advantage to manufacture customized products at low costs. In this study, a unique eyeglass frame was designed to have a snake shape, which has an asymmetric geometry unlike traditional frames. The eyeglass frame was designed in a customized manner by reflecting dimensional characteristics of a customer's face. Finite element analysis was performed to investigate the structural safety of the 3D printed frames during the assembly process. The analysis also considered the effect of anisotropic material properties as determined by tensile tests. The eyeglass frame was then printed using the customized sizes and the best building process. The eyeglass frame was successfully assembled with lenses and without structural failure during its assembly procedure.

  • UCC 제작자에겐 기존의 추천 서비스와는 차별화된 저작권과 저작 목적 등을 고려한 별도의 추천서비스가 필요하다. 본 논문에선 UCC를 제작하는데 있어 발생하는 저작권문제를 효과적으로 해결하기 위해 UCC 제작 시 참조된 UCC들의 정보를 메타데이터의 reference 요소로 기재할 수 있도록 하였으며, UCC 제작 사용자에게 특화된 추천서비스를 제공하기 위해 제작된 UCC의 참조 데이터를 이용한 협업 필터링 기반의 추천 시스템을 구성하고 있다. 추천시스템은 메타데이터의 tag, reference 요소를 이용해 참조된 UCC 그룹군에서 제작자가 참조한 UCC와 유사한 참조 UCC를 추천 리스트로 만들어서 제공한다. 향후 본 시스템의 효율성 검증을 통해 UCC 제작에 있어 보다 효율적이고 제작자 편이성이 높은 제작자 맞춤형 UCC 추천 서비스가 IPTV, SmartTV등의 융합형 방송서비스 통해 제공될 수 있을 것 이다.

Rehabilitation of edentulous maxilla with implant-supported milled bar overdenture using CAD/CAM customized abutment: A case report (CAD/CAM 맞춤형 지대주를 이용한 milled-bar 피개의치 증례)

  • In patients with fully edentulous maxilla, fabrication of implant-supported overdenture can be a viable treatment option, when a minimum of six implants were strategically placed. Among several attachment systems used for implant-supported overdentures, milled-bars prevent rotational movement of denture, thus showing great stability, and have the advantage of splinting multiple implants with each other. In this case report, a milled-bar supported overdenture was fabricated for a patient suffering from condition of fully edentulous maxilla with severe ridge resorption in the anterior residual ridge. Seven implants composed of three different systems were effectively utilized by CAD/CAM customized abutment and cement-retained milled bar.

  • In order to produce the variety of UCC, the recommendation service is required which considers the copyright of UCC producer discriminated from one for UCC consumers and the purpose of its production. The recommender system designed in this thesis enables UCC which is much similar to one UCC producer utilizes to be used with custom-made when recommending and producing based on UCC view history and production list, etc. of its producer. The recommender system is largely divided into filtering based on the preferred tag, UCC filtering used when producing the preferred UCC and creating process of recommended UCC using the Pearson formula. The recommender system in this thesis requires the data which were used when producing UCC. For that, we added the reference factor so that the data of UCC which were utilized when producing UCC into the existing metadata can be recorded. If the recommender system suggested in this thesis is used, the more effective and convenient UCC recommendation services with custom-made for producers can be provided.

  • The digital workflow of optical impressions by the intraoral scanner and CADCAM manufacture of dental prostheses is actively developing. The complex process of traditional impression taking, definite cast fabrication, wax pattern making, and casting has been shortened, and the number of patient's visits can also be reduced. Advances in intraoral scanner technology have increased the precision and accuracy of optical impression, and its indication is progressively widened toward the long span fixed dental prosthesis. This case report describes the long span implant case, and the operator fully utilized digital workflow such as computer-guided implant surgical template and CAD-CAM produced restoration after the digital impression. The provisional restoration and customized abutments were prepared with the optical impression taken on the same day of implant surgery. Moreover, the final prosthesis was fabricated with the digital scan while utilizing the same customized abutment from the provisional restoration. During the data acquisition step, stl data of customized abutments, previously scanned at the time of provisional restoration delivery, were imported and automatically aligned with digital impression data using an 'A.I. abutment matching algorithm' the intraoral scanner software. By using this algorithm, it was possible to obtain the subgingival margin without the gingival retraction or abutment removal. Using the digital intraoral scanner's advanced functions, the operator could shorten the total treatment time. So that both the patient and the clinician could experience convenient and effective treatment, and it was possible to manufacture a prosthesis with predictability.

  • 한 벌의 한글 글자체를 만드는데 일반적으로 많은 제작 비용과 시간이 소요된다. 따라서 폰트 제작의 어려움을 덜기 위해, 사용자가 대표 글자들을 입력하면 그 글자들의 디자인 특성을 딥러닝 기술을 이용하여 학습한 모델이 나머지 글자들을 자동 생성해주는 시스템 구축한다면 폰트 제작이 훨씬 용이해질 뿐만 아니라 저작권 문제로부터 자유로워질 것이다. 이와 관련된 선행연구를 실행하고 분석해 본 결과 데이터 전처리 과정에서 글자가 잘리거나 크기가 맞지 않아 제대로 된 데이터셋이 구축되지 않는 문제가 있음을 발견하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 템플릿에서 자동적으로 글자영역을 추출하고 이미지를 보정하는 전처리 과정과 함께 기존 모델에서 새로운 필터를 추가하여 학습 성능을 높이는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 기존 연구에서 측정된 손실값을 낮춘 결과를 확인했으며 결과적으로 실제 글자체와 더욱 유사한 사용자 맞춤형 글자체를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
