Micro Determinants of Joining Union in Korea (노조가입 결정요인)

  • The main findings from the analysis of the micro-determinants of joining union are : Firstly, joining union is mainly determined by union reach (supply-side) rather than by union propensity (demand-side). Secondly, union existence is closely correlated with firm size. Thirdly, job satifaction is not statistically significant with joining union, though it is significant with non-union workers' propensity to join union. Finally, trade union movement is required to extend union reach and emphasize institutional and behavioral factors for increasing union density.

An Empirical Study on the Determinants of Job Satisfaction among Care Givers: Focus on Care Givers Working in Care Facilities of Chung Nam Province (요양보호사의 직무만족결정요인 연구: 충남지역 입소시설요양보호사를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of job satisfaction among care givers. Finding out the determinants of job satisfaction among care givers, the dependent variables were defined 3 groups with 9 sub-factors, such as personal factors of growth needs and self-efficacy, job factors of job diversity, job autonomy, job importance, role clarity and workload, organizational factors of comradeship, education & training. For the study, data were collected form 479 care givers working in 52 care facilities of Chung Nam Province and analyzed them by regression analysis technique using the SPSS 20.0 statistical package. The results are as followings, job diversity, job importance, comradeship, education & training have positive effects on job satisfaction respectively, workload effects on it negatively, but growth needs, self-efficacy, job autonomy, role clarity no effectiveness on job satisfaction. Based on the results of study, theoretical implications are discussed for care givers to promote the job satisfaction and suggested the directions for further study. Further more, the findings provide the basic sources for care giver human resource management in long term care facilities which are suffering from recruiting of care giver, and it also contribute to successful management of long term care insurance system as a meaningful suggestion.

  • In recent years, the research on audience satisfaction after watching programs has been carried out in various fields. However, there is no precedent for the study of simply analyzing the influencing factors of audience satisfaction with the newly established CCTV-9 channel. For CCTV-9, how to explore the strategy of industrial development based on the needs of the audience in the era of big data is a very important part. This article exploratively focuses on the influencing factors related to CCTV-9 audience satisfaction. Using questionnaires, 101 samples of the satisfaction with the channel of men and women of different ages, education backgrounds, majors, and incomes were collected to test, and 9 hypotheses were tentatively proposed as relevant influencing factors of channel satisfaction. Through empirical analysis, this research searches for the determinants. The reliability and validity of the measurement were properly analyzed, and all hypotheses were statistically tested. The empirical results show that: subject matter, program format, program scheduling, program broadcast time, channel advertising, simulcast series of documentaries, diversified communication platforms, brand image packaging and audience satisfaction are significantly positively correlated.

  • 본 연구는 자기결정성 이론에 대한 중요한 변수들이 내재적 동기인 몰입과 만족이 충성도에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 인과관계를 실증 연구하고자 한다. 지금까지의 온라인 게임 연구들은 내재적 동기인 Flow가 만족과 충성도에 미치는 연구들이 주를 이루어 왔을 뿐, Flow에 미치는 영향변수에 대한 연구는 미비하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 내재적 동기에 영향을 주는 요인들을 연구한 자기결정성 이론을 바탕으로, 자기결정성의 요인인 자율성, 유능성, 관계성이 몰입과 만족, 충성도에 미치는 인과관계를 연구하고자 한다.

Empirical Study of Key Factors in Satisfaction with Subway Services (지하철 이용만족도 결정요인에 관한 실증적 연구 -서울지역을 중심으로-)

  • Despite the fact that understanding customers satisfaction with transportation services is a subject of great importance, authors, so far, found no systematic researches referred to that issue. From this point, studying the satisfaction with subways services can be extremely useful. Empirical study of key factors in the satisfaction with subway services is the departure point, which holds as objectives, and we believe, will contribute to overall increasing in the number of subways services used and in the amount of public benefits derived from that usage. In order to achieve these goals: First, several items referred to some key factors in the satisfaction of subway usage were systemized. Second, a research of specific weights attached to those key factors by subway passengers was conducted. Knowledge of the satisfaction variables system can provide deep insights into ones perceptual experience when using a subway. The results were as follows: Various interrelated factors compose a passengers satisfaction with subway services. People do not just use subway passively; a number of key factors, like physical and personal services, exact timing, easiness to access etc. determine the passengers satisfaction with subway. In order to find out specific weights of these key factors multiple regression analysis was employed. Results showed that satisfaction with subway is determined by (in order of importance) easiness to access, quality of physical services, friendliness of working stuff and timing exactness. According to the findings, passengers do not use subway as a simple mean of transportation, rather they perceive it as a complex combination of environmental elements and overall satisfaction depends on these various factors. Therefore, to learn passengers satisfaction with subways services, passengers subway experience must be thoroughly studied and analyzed, and this is where papers value resides.

Hospital Food Service Systems in the United Kingdom With Special Reference to Patient Satisfaction

  • 본 연구는 영국의병원 급식체계를 분석하고 그에 대한 객관적, 주관적 평가를 시도하는데 목표를 두고 있다. 영국 보건성의 지원하에 12개 병원에 대한 급식체계를 비용편익 분석과 생산성 측정이라는 객관적 기법, 그리고 Indepth-interview 및 Self-Administered Qestionnaire 라는 주관적 방법을 통해 분석하였다. 이 중 본논문에서 다루는 것은 환자 만족도와 이에 영향을 미치는 병원 급식 체계의 결정요인 부분이다. 제1단계 연구에서는 급식대상 환자들에 대한 표본추출을 통해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 환자의 인구통계학적, 정서적 변수가 환자의 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요소로 나타났다. 각병원에 대한 객관적 자료를 이용한 2차 희귀분석 결과 인적자원요소와 시스템요소로 대별된 독립변수 요인군종 어느 변수도 0.05(p) 수준에서 유의미하지 않은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 환자의 만족도는 병원 급식체계에 기준한 객관적인 결정요인에 의해 설명되어지지 않고 오히려 환자 자신의 변수에 의해 결정되어짐을 알수 있다. 본논문이 시사하는 바는 급식체계에 대한 평가에 있어 이론적 모형과 변수의 선정이 수정될 필요가 있다는 점과 방법론적 차원에서 평가대상 급식시스템의 유형상 특성이 고려되어야한다는 점이다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the casual relationships among purchase decision factors of medical devices, satisfaction and repurchasing intention. Data of this study is a 2012 survey on medical institutions using medical devices of MW(ministry of health and welfare) and We analyzed 116 medical institutions having ultrasound imaging system lager than general hospitals among data. For empirical analysis, we carried out confirmative factor analysis and path-analysis using AMOS 21.0 package. Main results of this study are as follows: First, brand has positive influence on satisfaction and satisfaction has positive impaction on repurchase intention. Second, although not statistically significant, performance and service have positive impaction on satisfaction and price has negative influence on satisfaction. The significance of this study is to provide empirical basis on establishment of efficient marketing strategy and enhancement of competitiveness for the medical device industry.

  • This study verified the determinants of years in service of youth employee by analyzing panal data. The study results showed that sex, age, education, marital status, full-time job, wage, employment stabilization, household earned income, benefit package, fairness of performance evaluation determined years in service of youth employee. Also, years in service was longer in male, higher age, married, lower household earned income, full-time job, age-limit system, possible to work continuously, corresponding to mager, higher wage, higher job satisfaction group. This study provided practical implication to prepare effective emplyment policy for maintaining long-term and stable youth employment by confirming the determinants of years in service of youth employee.

Characteristics of and Determinants of Life Satisfaction Among Elderly Korean Immigrants in Los Angeles (LA 거주 한국이민노인의 생활만족도 결정요인과 특성)

  • 본 연구는 미 L-A에 거주하는 한국이민 노인들의 특성을 파악하고, 그들의 생활만족도에 기여하는 결정요소들이 무엇인지 가려내며, 그 얻어진 결과를, 동일한 시각과 접근으로 시도되었던 미국 노인들에 대한 선행연구들의 결과와 비교 분석하였다. 연구는 1986년 12월에서 1987년 2월까지 3개월간 미 L-A 카운티에서 거주하는 55세 이상의 한국 이민노인 390명을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 실시하여 그중 192명을 자료분석에 사용하였다. 단계별 중다 회귀분석의 결과, 활동성의 제약정도, 결혼상태, 재정적인 안정, 교육정도, 연령증가 등 5가지 변인들의 특별히 한국노인의 생활만족도가 강한 연관성이 있었고, 반면 자신들이 평가한 건강상태, 지인과의 사회적인 상호작용, 미국거주 년한 등은 노후생활의 안녕에 전혀 직접적인 영향력을 행사하지 못했다. 그러나 자신들이 평가하는 건강상태는, 활동성의 제약 등과 같은 다른 변인에 미치는 효과를 통해서 생활만족도에 간접적으로 강하게 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이러한 결과를 선행연구에서 나타난 서구나 미국노인의 생활만족도 결정의 세 요인인 건강상태, 사회경제적 지위, 사회적 활동성과 비교해 볼때, 사회적 활동성과 연령증가 변인에서 서로 상반되는 대조를 보이고 있었다. 즉, 백인노인들은 나이가 듦에 따라 생활만족도가 낮아지거나 혹은, 연령증가와 생활만족도 사이에 별로 유의할 만한 관계를 보이지 않고 있으나, 본 연구에서의 한국노인은 나이를 먹으면서 오히려 생활만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 사회적 활동성은, 백인노인의 생활만족도에 긍정적 혹을 부정적으로 가장 강하게 영향을 미치는 요인중 하나임에 반하여, 한국노인들은 이것이 자신들의 생활만족에 중요한 것이라 믿고는 있었지만 실제 통계학적으로는 영향력을 행사하지 못하는 요인이었다. 주거환경(자식과의 동거여부) 역시, 이제껏 한국사회에서 기대되어왔던 통념과는 달리, 한국노인의 생활만족도에 아무런 영향을 주지 못하고 있었다.

  • Many researchers have been explored job satisfaction in various context. Nevertheless, there are no empirical researches on the advertising designers's job satisfaction in Korea. This research is an exploratory examination regarding Korean advertising designers's organizational behaviour. In general, job satisfaction is determined by two major factors; personal and organizational factor. This research shows that korean advertising designers's job satisfaction is mainly determined by the organizational factor such as payment and promotion. Promotion was particularly significant amongst them and recognition also proved to be influential. Synthetically, the determining factors of advertising designers's job satisfaction consists of several predictors such as payment, promotion, and human relationships. This result may gives an assumption that the agencies have not provided designers with specialized evaluation system reflecting designers' job characteristics. Thesis concludes that agencies need to set a new evaluation and payment systems in order to elevate designers' job satisfaction in organization.
