  • 2007 Design Festival on Seongnam Living Design has been held with the theme of "You and I, We" on the basis of harmony through design. This kind of theme has the main concepts as follows: Harmony- the exhibition program that can capture our mind, Communication-the experience program not through personal work but through group work, Design Seongnam-joyful Sungnam which we have made together by regional participation design project. Especially, it also has encouraged active and voluntary participation based on the promotion of the event and design exhibition that are hosted by the universities, elementary and secondary schools that represent the downtown Seongnam. In understanding Seongnam City, it has applied the plan introducing emotional process. These are the programs, which are reading, thinking, listening, watching, touching, making, and dreaming. Through the processes of being with Seongnam by participants, it has helped people know more about Seongnam, and focused on being the exhibition understanding the members of the community Seongnam.

전주기형 스마트시티 리빙랩 모델 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Full-Cycle Smart City Living Lab Model)

  • 스마트시티 리빙랩은 지역주민을 포함한 다양한 이해관계자와의 창의적 소통으로 도시의 솔루션을 만들어가는 지역혁신 플랫폼으로서 점차 중요성이 증대하고 있다. 특히, 2018년 1월 대통령 직속 산하 기구인 4차산업혁명위원회는 「도시혁신 및 미래성장동력 창출을 위한 스마트시티 추진전략」 발표를 통해 스마트시티에서의 시민참여와 역할에 대한 중요성을 강조함으로써 다양한 공공사업 분야에 리빙랩이 적용되는 계기가 되었다. 이에 중앙부처와 지자체는 시민참여형 스마트시티 건설을 위해 다양한 유형의 리빙랩을 추진하고 있지만 체계적인 단계별 리빙랩 수행을 위한 구조화된 절차와 방법론 부재로 인해 선행 사례를 참조하여 임시방편적으로 추진하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 공공주도형 스마트시티 리빙랩의 체계적인 접근 및 실행 방안을 마련하기 위해 혁신 디자인 방법론인 더블디자인 다이아몬드 프레임워크와 디자인 씽킹 프로세스를 비롯해 국토계획 표준품셈에서 제시하고 있는 스마트도시 시민 리빙랩의 업무 프로세스를 융복합하여 전주기형 스마트시티 리빙랩 모델을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 전주기형 스마트시티 리빙랩 모델은 프레임워크, 모듈, 프로세스, 방법론 등 리빙랩을 접근하고 실행하기 위해 필요한 4개의 구성요소를 다루고 있다. 향후 스마트시티 리빙랩을 추진하는데 있어 본 모델을 참고 자료로서 활용되길 기대한다.

디자인 카펫의 표현 유형 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Expression Types of Design Carpet)

  • Recently, interest of consumers in home furnishing products has increased steadily because of the increased time spent at home due to COVID-19. Among them, carpets made of various materials and technologies are becoming popular interior item. Academic and industrial sectors agreed on the need to produce premium design carpets. Prior research on carpet design was mostly focused on patterns, history, with insufficient investigations on the type. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to provide basic data to develop premium design carpets by analyzing their expression types. To analyze expression types, this study covered about 400 design carpets surveyed on the websites of eight major carpet companies from January 2021 to March 2021. Based on the analysis results, the five expression types of are as follows. Firstly, the expression type was expressed in various atypical forms that was deviated from the formal form. Secondly, it was a type that improves visual and tactile effects through a variety of 3-D textures. Thirdly, it was a type of diversification of motifs, which was based on the works of artists and designers in various fields. Fourthly, it was a type that combines two or more different materials and techniques. Finally, it was a modular type that can be applied in various ways to various spaces. Based on the analysis results of this study, it is hoped that the data will be helpful to produce premium design carpets in Korea.

완전 자율주행 모빌리티의 리빙 스페이스 디자인에 대한 인식 (Perceptions of Living Space Design for Fully Autonomous Vehicle)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 완전 자율주행 모빌리티의 리빙 스페이스에 대한 일반인의 인식을 조사하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 국내에서 운전하는 20대~60대 성인 250명에게 설문 조사를 하여 그중 응답을 완료한 204명을 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도분석, 독립표본 t검정, 회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 완전자율주행 모빌리티 실내의 모빌리티 퍼니처 개념에 대해 이동성, 순응성, 전환성, 상호작용성의 4가지 핵심요소를 적용하는 것이 적절한지에 대한 의견은 5점 척도에 평균 3.76점으로 약간 높았다. 완전자율주행 모빌리티에 적용이 필요한 기능으로는 '수면과 휴식'이 46.4%(130)로 가장 많았으며, '엔터테인먼트' 19%(53), '회의 및 업무' 18.3%(51), '건강관리' 10.8%(30) 순이었다. 본 연구의 결과들이 완전자율주행 모빌리티의 핵심요소인 '리빙 스페이스' 디자인을 위한 기초적인 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

  • This study aims to analyze the patterns made with knitted jacquard and intarsia techniques to provide essential data to help plan different knitwear designs using the techniques and patterns. Based on approximately 3,000 jacquard and intarsia knitwear published in the four significant womenswear collections over the past decade, eight main pattern types were classified, and each characteristic was analyzed. Firstly, it is a logo and symbol type pattern that appears mainly as a means of emphasizing a brand. Secondly, it is a traditional pattern with settled patterns from the past to the present. Third, it is a geometric pattern that appears both typically and atypically in various forms. Fourth, an abstract pattern type does not show a precise form or motif. Fifth, it is a colorful and diverse flower and plant pattern. Sixth, it is a landscape pattern that expresses nature and living space. Seventhly, it is an animal pattern type that expresses the appearance of an animal or the shape of the. Finally, it is a caricature pattern type using characters and various cartoonish motifs. Based on the analysis results of this study, creative and diverse design development of Jacquard and Intarsia knitwear and development of the knitwear market will take place.

대리석 패턴의 적용 유형에 관한 연구 -CMF 디자인 요소를 중심으로- (A Study on the Application Types of Marble Patterns -Focusing on the Components of CMF Design-)

  • Consumption value has widened, not only in functional but also aesthetic aspects, and consumers have started to find products that are more individual and emotional. The pattern of natural motifs meets the needs of consumers, and the marble is also widely used in patterns as one of the natural motifs. In this study, we analyzed many fashion items and other products with marble patterns based on the elements of CMF design, which are important points in merchandise design. For research, data on marble and its patterns have been found in professional books about marble. Foreign and domestic cases were investigated from well-known design exhibitions. Results of the study demonstrate the potential for pattern representation that stimulates consumers' senses by using color or material to express a variety of visual patterns, and using many finishing methods to express textured patterns. However, most of the domestic cases have only imitated the visual features of marble patterns, and very few have expanded the scope of the use of the patterns. A domestic research study was conducted only on the chemical features of marble, while research on the color and design of the visual aspects has been conducted passively. Therefore, This study will attribute designers to come up with creative pattern design and secure many consumers. Above all, we hope that the expansion of material representations will help designers break away from today's stereotypes of the characteristics of the materials and emotional expression.

한국적 업사이클링 디자인 제품개발 (Development of Korean Type Up-cycled Design Products)

  • Up-cycling has evolved from its original form of the simple recycling of waste, into an industry of its own that has been gaining momentum. In many developed industries, up-cycling is increasingly seen as an 'environmentally-friendly way of production and ethical way of consumption'. However, an examination of the designs of branded up-cycled products suggests that there is a need for product development fueled by further research on materials. The purpose of this study is to introduce various production methods that can overcome the shortcomings of using waste material and Korean motifs for use in product development, which ultimately contribute to enhancing the potential variety and character of up-cycled products. In order to do so, the up-cycling industry was examined to define key concepts, domestic and overseas markets were surveyed, and case analyses were conducted on domestic and foreign up-cycling brands. In addition, after tracking how leather is discarded and accumulated as waste and then collecting the discarded leather, the properties of the material were analyzed. A study of Korean motifs was followed by the concept summary, and upcycling design expressions that exemplify Korean images were identified. The following two novel methods were used to create six up-cycled bags using collected discarded leather. First, lucky bags and moon pots were selected from various Korean motifs in order to use motifs with identifiable features. Secondly, different variations of cutting and attachment methods were used, including iron mold production methods and presses.

  • [ $K\ddot{o}ln$ ] IMM (International Mobel Messe Koln) is traditionally one of the advanced Exhibitions with International Expo of Furniture in Milan. IMM is not only the furniture exhibition but also well known international event that shows novel idea and the newest trend of interior design field. This event displays from the traditional style reaches to the newest trend, and also presents the world various Interior design spectrum with the forecast of interior design industry. This study analyze out the trend of the nm in year 2004, 2005 and 2006. It analyzed each year's design with form, material, color and general feature. Thus, it suggests demanding and persistent design of modern society, This chart shows the characteristics of the furniture design from 2004 to 2006 Result of the study shows that the trend of the furniture design would be process with the relationship of simple design, multi-cultural character, and practical paradigm.

스마트하우징 주거서비스 기술에 대한 이용자 인식 개선을 위한 리빙랩 활용성 분석 연구 (Effects of Implementing Living Lab to Change Users' Perception of Smart Housing Residential Service Technologies)

  • 국내 다양한 인구 사회적 변화를 반영하여 다양한 거주자들의 요구와 욕구를 충족시켜주기 위한 주거서비스 공급의 필요성이 점차 높아지고 있다. 특히 스마트기기의 개인 보급이 확산되고, 인공지능 및 사물인터넷 등과 같은 스마트 기술의 비약적인 발전은 이러한 주거서비스 기술을 보다 거주자들이 쉽고 편하게 접할 수 있는 스마트하우징을 뒷받침하고 있다. 하지만 AI, IoT 및 빅데이터 등 스마트 기술 및 기기와 연계된 스마트하우징 주거서비스의 보급 확산을 위해서는 이용자들의 인식을 개선하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위한 방법으로 본 연구는 리빙랩을 활용하여 스마트하우징 주거서비스 기술에 대한 이용자들의 인식 변화를 관찰하였다. 그 결과, 리빙랩 체험 후 이용자들의 스마트하우징 주거서비스에 대한 인지도가 높아졌으며, 선호하는 주거서비스 기술도 리빙랩 체험 전 보다 더 구체화된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 스마트하우징 주거서비스 기술의 보급 및 확산을 위해 이용자들의 인식을 높이는 것이 중요하며, 이를 위해 리빙랩이 효과적인 수단이 될 수 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다.
