Various researches had been devoted in purpose of improving memory management in terms of performance, efficiency, ease of use, and safety. One of these approaches is a region-based memory management. Each allocation site selects a specific region, after that allocated objects are placed in this region. Memory is reclaimed by destroying the region, freeing all the objects allocated therein. In this paper, we propose reusing of local regions to reduce heap memory usage in memory-limited environments. The basic idea of this proposal is reusing of upper local regions where objects that are allocated to these regions are not accessed until the current method is finished. We believe our method of reusing local regions is able to overcome memory constraints in memory-limited environments.

Food is one of the essential elements of the tourist experiences. The study aims to segment food tourists for benefit sought. This study attempted to segment tourists who had experienced local food at tourist destinations by their benefit sought to meet local food. A self-administered survey was obtained from 498 visitors in the study areas. Results from the factor analysis show that the most explained variances of benefit sought were food taste (17.2%) and refresh (12.9%). Five distinct segments were identified based on the benefits; family seeker (17.6%), passive seeker (15.1%), want-it-all seeker (23.1%), raw material seeker (31.8%), gastronomic seeker (12.4%). In addition, a significant difference in the characteristics of tourists who had tasted local food at tourist destinations was observed in terms of occupation, income, education, expenditure for food, and tour distance. Implications are discussed relative to marketing strategies.

With industrialization in urban area communities containing local cultures are becoming hard to be preserved. Therefore, this study aims to develop acquisition policy of record as an way to activate the community by using the locality records containing strong regional characteristics. This study examined the history, current status and problems of district in Daegu Yakjeon alley and extracted the types of records and the components of communities. As an acquisition plan, this study developed step-by-step acquisition policy based on the results of analysis on the archives of Shiheung Varagi Archives case, the records of Chongneung Village Records case and Stadtteilarchiv Ottensen.

Google Android provides market based application distribution to provide ease use of application services. While openness of Android allows various ways of application distribution, including installation of unsigned application. such openness also invokes critical threats such as the spread of malwares and the illegal distribution of applications. In order to prevent such threats, several distributors use on-line authentication techniques by using mobile subscriber's information. However such methods also have limits that even legal users cannot use their purchased application in situations. Therefore, in this paper, we discuss such problems and provide some ideas of authentication method that allow users to use their purchased application when users change their status.

Recently, changes in the environment of user-centric internet service such as blog, UCC and IPTV and ubiquitous computing based on web service are needed to high availability system platform. High availability system is to provide safe service continuously even if system failure occurs in clustering system at the network. And it is necessary to synchronize data for reliable service in high availability system. In this paper, I implement DRBD(Disk Replicated Block Device) which is synchronization technique for data of local disks in high availability system.

각종 현장 및 시설물에는 모터를 이용하여 작업하는 전기실 또는 기계실 등이 많이 있다. 이러한 경우, 모터를 제어하는 배전반의 일종인 모터제어센터(MCC)와 중앙통제실에는 데스크 판넬(desk panel)이 설치되며, 현장마다에는 각각의 로컬 판넬(local panel)이 설치되어 있다. 현재 이러한 구성요소들은 많은 유선으로 연결되어 있으며, 각각의 유니트(unit) 마다 나오는 접점신호의 온(on)/오프(off) 신호가 중앙통제실의 데스크 판넬에 전달되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 LAN 환경에서 모터의 감시 및 제어를 위한 시스템에 관한 연구이다. 즉, 현장에서 근무자의 직접적인 모터의 동작 상태 확인 및 작동을 위한 불편함을 해소하기 위하여, 무선 LAN 환경을 통하여 모터제어센터의 감시 제어를 위한 시스템의 구현이다. 이를 위하여, 모터제어센터와 모터 감시 시스템(컴퓨터) 간의 데이터 전송을 위해서 무선 LAN의 블루투스 통신모듈을 이용한 RF 송 수신기 및 관리자를 위한 감시(모니터링) 프로그램을 구현하였다.

In this paper, wireless internet services are combined with conventional wire internet service system. These system support that instrument manager can be access his instrument by use personal mobile devices and instrument manager can be take emergency action by use mobile devices. for this, error signal of local instruments are transmitted to the serial port of local server through Rf wireless communication channel. Also, The image of local instruments are transmitted to the web monitoring screen of main server. Network Camera System Supports remote monitoring functions. The interfacing of nam server with external user are possible through the mobile devices.

네트워크 파일시스템은 원격의 서비스와 자원에 대해 로컬의 그것과 같은 투명성을 제공하기 때문에 널리 사용된다. 네트워크 파일시스템을 제작하거나 수정하는 일에는 운영체제의 커널과 통신 프로토콜에 대한 고려가 필요하므로 복잡하고 많은 시간이 걸린다. 기존의 파일시스템 프레임워크를 사용할 경우 운영체제의 커널 모듈에 대한 고려는 줄일 수 있지만 여전히 통신 프로토콜에 대한 고려는 필요하다. 따라서 네트워크 파일시스템의 빠른 제작을 도와주는 네트워크 파일시스템 프레임워크가 필요하다. 본 논문은 웹서비스 프로토콜인 SOAP과, 사용자 수준 파일시스템 프레임워크인 FUSE를 이용해 사용자 수준 네트워크 파일시스템 프레임워크인 NFSF를 설계하고 구현한다. NFSF는 단일 클라이언트 모듈과 서버 상위모듈, 서버 하위모듈의 3단계 계층을 두고, 중요 파일시스템 API를 서버 하위 모듈로 바인딩한다. 통신 프로토콜을 포함한 단일 클라이언트 모듈과 서버 상위 모듈을 프레임워크에서 제공하여 네트워크 파일시스템 제작 시 서버 하위 모듈만을 제작하게 함으로써 네트워크 파일시스템 제작과정을 '로컬 저장 장치 자체에 대한 고려'로 축소시킨다.

본 논문을 통하여 개발된 시스템은 라인카메라를 사용하여 터널의 균열 영상을 획득하기 위하여 사용되는 시스템으로, 터널 내부의 균열 영상을 실시간으로 촬영하여 저장하는 시스템이다. 터널 영상은 의료영상과 같이 작은 손실에도 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이러한 요소 때문에 본 시스템에서는 CCD 방식의 라인 스캔 카메라를 이용하여 터널 영상을 촬영하며, 이를 저장 하는 방법에 있어서는 비손실 압축기법을 사용하였다. 비손실 압축 기법의 사용을 이용하여 영상을 저장하는 방식은 많은 데이터 저장공간을 필요로 한다. 이러한 문제점은 기술 개발의 놀라운 성장과 더불어 기존 테이프 기반의 방식에서 벗어나 로컬 하드디스크로 직접 저장하는 기법을 사용할 수 있게 되었다. 즉, 라인 카메라를 이용하는 기존 시스템의 경우에는 영상데이타를 실시간으로 저장할 수 없는 문제점 때문에 촬영 속도를 느리게 하면서 영상을 획득하였으며, 획득한 영상을 테이프로 저장하도록 설계되었다. 이에 반하여 본 시스템에서는 테이프를 대신하여 로컬 디스크를 사용하여, 대용량의 영상을 실시간으로 저장할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다. 예비실험을 통하여 나타난 결과에 따르면 본 논문을 통하여 개발된 시스템은 약 20Km 이상의 속도로 진행하는 열차에서 터널의 영상을 실시간으로 촬영하여 저장할 수 있음을 살펴볼 수 있었다.

The study is to establish the role of libraries in governance. Governance is valid when private actors participate in it. Because it emphasizes the cooperation with actors in diverse sectors for solving complex problems in society. Communities as private actors with publicness help governance actualize direct democracy by participating in governance. Libraries are institutes that foster communities, but in some cases libraries are communities themselves. Therefore, the study reviews literature to prove the relationship between communities and governance and the relationship between libraries and communities. On the basis of literature reviews, the study conducts the survey to proves the relationship between libraries and governance.
